Amazing meal here. Had the sharing starter, which was a great selection of tasty items, and is perfect for sharing. My main was the meat pizza, lots of toppings and the cheese was some off the best I had. My wife had the lemon sole and she loved it, though careful with the bones. I would highly recommend this place.

My partner booked a table for us at Macaroni on Valentine's Day. I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. We started with calamari fritti and olives to share, which were lovely. I had the Tagliatelle al Salmone which was so delicious and very authentic, he had the Spaghetti con Frutti di mare which was beautiful with perfectly cooked sea food. As a Britalian it was 10/10, can't fault anything. The seating was very cosy but altogether a great atmosphere and service was quick.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to discover this gem. Amazing food so tasty and fresh definitely coming back. I recommend it 100%

We’ve only ever had takeaway from here but the quality and taste are outstanding. Amazing pasta and every dish seems to have fresh ingredients. We are regulars and definitely recommend this place!

I had a really good experience at Maccaroni cucina italiana in Potters Bar. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, staff members are friendly and reliable and the music is making you feel like you are in a small part of Italy. As a starter, I had the Alici Fritti and wow! It was absolutely delicious and has quickly become my family's and my favorite. Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and served just right. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Penne Vegetale, Sautéed Potatoes and Porcini Mushrooms, and Fried Zucchini were all perfectly crispy and herbed, with all the carb-y goodness you want.

Heeey Macaroni Wish I had tried more items on the menu, that said I had the Pizza, a Margherita with some added mushrooms and onion and I must say it was fabulous...so the pizza is definitely worth visiting this place for.. It was very busy in there but service was prompt. Moretti on tap at pub prices so will definitely return for pizza and beer in true Italian style..!!

Fantastic place. Sent them an email a few days earlier to book and requested a vegetarian lasagne, even though they didn't have it on the menu. Called and spoke to them the day of the booking to confirm the table and they mentioned about my request and said they can't guarantee it but will try, when we got there they confirmed they had made this specially for us. Honestly such a nice lively place with really good food options for vegetarians. would happily recommend to anyone. Great service too. We will be back. And once again thank you for attending to the request.

Impeccable Italian restaurant with an inviting ambiance. The seafood dishes were divine, and their drink selection was impressive. A delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. Especially the calamari, as it was fresh unlike the frozen ones other places serves. Highly recommended! ☺️☺️

There was four of us who dinned at this restaurant. we didn't have to wait long for a table at this restaurant it is so busy and popular. the owner and the staff very friendly polite the food was exceptionally good it is what you would expect from a restaurant like this. I definitely would be coming back again

Regularly order takeaway from here. It is always delivered quickly and always tastes great. Best pizza in potters bar in my opinion. Also the seafood pasta is a must as well.

A really nice Italian restaurant in Potters Bar. The pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly, especially our waitress Daniela 😊. The ambience of the restaurant was very welcoming and also the prices are really affordable. Overall was a great experience, I will definitely come again!

I've visited this Italian restaurant a few times now and overall, it's a pretty solid option. While I've tried a few different items on the menu, I have to say that the pizza is the standout dish for me - it's definitely worth four stars! The crust is nicely thin and crispy, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the margherita pizza, which had a great balance of tomato sauce, cheese, and fresh basil. That being said, I did have a few minor issues with the restaurant during my visits. For one, the service was a bit slow and inattentive at times. Additionally, some of the other dishes I tried (like the pasta) were just okay - nothing particularly memorable. Overall, if you're in the mood for some solid pizza, this place is definitely worth a try. While it may not be the best Italian restaurant in town, it's a decent option with some tasty dishes on the menu.

I was underwhelmed by my recent visit. It was a Friday night at 8pm and there was only 4 tables occupied. The atmosphere was flat and the waiting staff (none of whom were Italian) were uninspiring. The food was mediocre at best and the presentation lacked imagination, a small plate of soggy calamari with a token arrangement of shredded cos lettuce on the side. The same shredded lettuce appeared with my oily Seabass main too. My partner's pasta dish was too rich and creamy to be enjoyable. With plenty of alternatives locally, they need to step up. Considering the number of positive reviews perhaps it was just a bad night but we won't be rushing back.

Had a family meal in Macaroni and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Fairly pricey for what it was. I had the truffle pasta which was a bit bland, my wife had the sea bass which was well cooked but covered in oil. Starters were fine, just normal calamari and pizza bread. For a Friday night it was only half full which was a bit of a surprise, fairly flat atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive though. It was just an ok meal, nothing blew me away and I wouldn’t rush back.

Service professional and great... atmosphere is very bad (you hear mobile ring speak language non English lound and clear from the staff) food is ok but not something great ....

This restaurant used to be amazing. Delicious food. We have ordered from there many time. I ordered pizza from them the other day and was disappointed. The crust on each pizza was burnt. The base which used to be think and crispy was a thicker and more doughy. The pizzas also lacked flavour. Seems there has been a management change there.

Visited last week. Restaurant was full but it appeared the team could not accommodate all the covers. Food was delicious however slow service and long wait didn’t help the experience. A heated argument between another customer and the manager also took place which you don’t expect from a family restaurant.

Had high hopes for this place, but the first hurdle came when we turned up for our reservation. We had booked via Open Table, and apparently, they hadn't checked the bookings made on this, we were told we were lucky to have a table 🤨 Ok, fine, we were seated, given menus and orders taken. Starters and drinks arrived, food was lovely and mains came in due course, again food was amazing. But service throughout was not good, when we arrived the restaurant was about half full and I mentioned to our group if it got busier they could cope. There were 3 people I could see serving. We were not asked throughout our meal if we needed anything, and trying to flag down a waiter was like getting blood from a stone. Then the restaurant started to fill up and you could see they were struggling, we wanted dessert but after waiting 30 minutes for someone to check in with us we asked for the bill, the waiter vanished again, and took 10 minutes before he came back with the bill and another 10 mins before he brought the card machine. It was such a painful experience. Oh and they charge for take away boxes so God forbid you have any leftovers!

Firstly I have eaten in the Restaurant and food excellent though I feel staff seem a bit hurried for you to leave once you've eaten and are not ordering more drinks etc. I have had many home deliveries which have been excellent. Sadly my food and delivery experience yesterday was a complete disappointment. It seems a new employee answered my call which to me lacks customer service wisdom. 🤔 The house number taken was wrong and I had to reconfirm a few times the post code. Not her fault why would you put a new person taking orders. 🤔 The food was very poor, pasta overcooked, mushrooms like eating jelly, and my friend's Arrabiata no garlic just bland. Very disappointing 😞 I'm gonna order delivery again probably in couple of weeks. If it's not good that will probably be my last time. Such a shame 🫠

this is restaurant is only named but far from italian food. the chef needs alot to learn to cook italian. menu been waiting for 10minutes service out of order. if u come to the table put some antiperspirant next time. I've never seen Penne with creamy souce and onions inside is this italian ! ? yeah maybe to those who don't know anything about italian food, lasagne I've never seen smaller portion than here like they for baby . waitress don't have class came to the table in the jackwt which is to me village not integilency. all in all not remmended and well over rated.

Went last night with my wife. We had the Calamari for a starter. It was very chewy. Could not eat it. Then for main course I had spaghetti with meatballs the pasta was very chewy and the meatballs were reheated and very very hot burnt my mouth. My wife's meal very disgusting wouldn't recommend it to anyone waste of money

I have order delivery and I found a big fly in my food, totally disgusting On top that is expensive

Very disappointed at the customer service here. The staff is not listening, I need to repeat a few time to get my order right. And their expressions are not welcoming. And they are side-eyeing all customers. Plus for the attached photos, we ordered the dessert 2scoops of gelato and 1 affogato. It’s took them nearly 15mins. I am pretty sure they for get to take it out after scooping it.

I have dined in and had a pleasant experience. How ever, the delivery/take away experience is less than mediocre. When I order a lasagne I want to see the layered meat sauce and egg lasagne towering high and smelling nice. If you look at the photo, that is quite literally how it arrived. I know this is not due to the driver because the other dishes were just fine. All this aside, the pasta was limp and the flavour resembled that of Tomato soup. Deeply disappointing and a disgrace to the Italian cuisine to receive this slop in a pot!!!!! I have only given one star because none isn't an option.

We booked and we had a poor welcome when arriving. Service was non existent and like they couldn’t be bothered. Over priced food 13.00 for 4 prawns in sauce bread cost an extra 5 pounds . Pasta average very average. They forgot my partners main course and by this point we had had enough. The waitress knock over a full glass of wine on my partner soaking him… oh sorry was the only apologise given and serveattes to clean ourselves. No manager offered any compensation or to replace the over priced wine they had knocked over. Place was a joke and so ridiculously over priced we will definitely not return which is a shame as we live locally. Plenty of other Italian 🇮🇹 restaurants that treat there customers with care . Avoid at all costs
