Great cappuccino with a view! ☕️🌉 I had a wonderful cappuccino at Vicinity. The coffee is smooth, the foam is perfectly textured, and the dusting on top adds a lovely touch. Sitting by the window with such a great view made the experience even better. A perfect spot to relax for £4.5. Highly recommended!

Shaon was confident well spoken and very professional throughout the evening. He explained the menu clearly gave great recommendations and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. His positive energy and genuine care for customers really made the experience even better.excellent service overall will definitely come back
We had such a wonderful dining experience thanks to our waiter! TIPU was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. He made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down and checked in regularly without ever being intrusive. His menu recommendations were spot on, and he handled everything with a warm smile and positive attitude. It’s clear he truly cares about providing great service. We’ll definitely be coming back and hope to be served by him again!
We had a truly wonderful experience at Vicinity London. The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the fish and chips, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Special thanks to our waiter, Rubel, who was attentive, friendly and professional throughout. He made us feel very welcome and ensured everything was just right, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Vicinity London to anyone looking for great food and excellent service, and we very much look forward to returning.
Our visit to Vicinity London was nothing short of fantastic. The culinary highlights were the stars of the show; the fish and chips, in particular, were crisp, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. What truly set the evening apart, however, was the hospitality. We were looked after by Rubel, who provided top-tier service. He was incredibly professional and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. His warm personality made us feel right at home and elevated the entire dining experience. If you’re after a spot with high-quality dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it. We’ll definitely be back soon, and we hope to see Rubel again when we do!
We went for dinner on Saturday and even though the restaurant was busy the food was outstanding. What truly made the night special was our server Shaon. He was composed efficient and carried a natural confidence that made everything feel effortless. Despite the full house he stayed completely on top of everything and made sure we were well looked after from start to finish.Shaon turned a great meal into a memorable experience. Any restaurant would be lucky to have someone like him on their team.

We had an awesome experience at Vicinty. I pre-booked a fire pit, and it was well worth it. Rumin, our waitress was so kind and attentive, 5 stars for her. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the food, given that this place could just serve anything and they would fill the place for the location, but the quality/price ratio is excellent. Iconic. Would return.
I can honestly say what a cosy Christmas night we had. This place is just one of the best places for a fire pit great views of London Bridge and the food, cocktails are just a 10/10 nothing on the menu did we not like everything was amazing quality and tasted great. The staff members could do enough for us especially Pratmesh, Mariam, iqbal. If any of them are on shift you will be extremely well looked after. The GM himself is such a delightful person. I can not wait to visit here again. I’m thinking summer next time as those cocktails are a vibe. Great for dates, families, friends they cater for everyone. And the iconic view of tower bridge itself is enough to make you even want to visit this place.
Had truffle chips, chicken tenders and a pizza aswell as a few cocktails (reserved window seat, definitely recommended) Excellent views! Pretty pricey but food was very good and service was very welcoming and attentative We were served by Loredana, Kunal and Praty who were all great! Thank you for making our evening beautiful :)
I had a wonderful experience at Vicinity Restaurant. We ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. What makes this place truly special is the view—you can see Tower Bridge and the river right from the restaurant, which creates such a memorable atmosphere. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants, and I highly recommend visiting!
Great restaurant!! Our waiter was Reynaldo and he was amazing, so attentive and just watching him pay extra attention to everything was really impressive. The food was amazing and the portions sizes were good, the view is a amazing we ended up picking a booth outside for my partners birthday and stayed in the hotel, would 10/10 recommend
We were a walk in and given the best table! It was right next to a 50th party of women so quite noisy but I loved it!!! The view was spectacular! We did wait a good 15-20mins for someone to come and take our orders. Staff were huddled together chatting and seemed to have forgotten us tucked away in the corner! We ordered food and drinks together which came in a timely fashion. Great fish and chips though! We sat and watched the sun go down over the river. Just beautiful.
We reserved one of the firepit tables and arrived nearly two hours early after touring Tower Bridge. Fortunately, a prior reservation did not show, and we were graciously accommodated ahead of schedule. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. As frequent travelers, we often hear mixed reviews about dining in London, but every place we visited exceeded expectations — and this was no exception. We enjoyed the chicken tenders and corn riblets to start, followed by the tomahawk steak for two and we shared a pasta dish. We also had two rounds of drinks, which surprisingly just met the €150 minimum for the firepit seating. We thought all that did would exceed it. Even with a light drizzle of rain, the atmosphere was wonderful and the experience memorable. Vicinity is certainly a restaurant we look forward to returning to on future visits.
What a fantastic experience. Our waiter Rubel was so attentive keeping us topped up with champagne and looking after us for the whole evening. Everything was wonderful from start to finish, and the service was exceptional. The food was amazing, and the view was incredible. Thank you for making the last night of our honeymoon one to remember... we'll be back! Thank you again to Rubel. Keep up the great work!
We visited Vicnity for brunch, the price is around £35 + 15% service charge, and the coffee and tea are unlimited. Considering the location in London, it’s a pretty good deal. They even provided us with a takeaway box, which was very convenient. The sandwiches were nice, though the cakes could use a bit of an upgrade. The service was excellent. Rumin was pleasant and helpful. She assisted us with our choices, and we never had to wait for water or more tea. Really appreciated her service!
My husband and I visited Vicinity restaurant yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I am SO glad we chose to eat there for our celebration. We had such a lovely time and everything was perfect. The staff moved us to a window seat when one became available which had a great view of tower bridge, which was a nice gesture for our celebration. They were all so kind and accommodating, checking in regularly to make sure all was well. Before bringing us the bill, they brought over a surprise cake with ‘happy anniversary’ written in chocolate which was so sweet of them to do. The food was excellent and served quickly. Good vegetarian options. Honestly such a great restaurant would highly recommend. I would like to personally thank Rumin for her incredible customer service and kindness. We will definitely visit again thank you so much.
We celebrate our friend birthday at the restaurant. The food at was phenomenal, but what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service from the staff. I guess the boy name (Rubel) who made our day. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel like family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, The view of tower bridge was beautiful and the location is perfect. Highly recommended ! I can’t wait to come back again. 🌟👏💕"
This place is strategically located beside the Tower Bridge. Lovely view. Staff very friendly as well. We only tried their apple tarte and their coffee (mocha and latte) which were all nice. I recommend this place, perfect for the sunny weather.
Vicinity restaurant :motto service above all 👏👏 I believe the best thing to say about a places is: I will be back! Without saying, the location is great, right at the border of the Thames overlooking the Tower Bridge. But what makes it so unique to come back? The staff! Service! “Service above all” seems to be the motto, and you feel it in every aspect 🙏👏👏absolute friendliness, efficiency of the staff at is outstanding !! Kindness. Here is what happened. The salad I had ordered was no longer available. The manager came to offer my options within the ingredients still available. We took pleasure to discuss it. I got a delicious hand-tailored dream salad. The waiters were so kind, they came every hint within seconds, but never bothered me so I could concentrate and finish my work within deadline !! experience highly recommended. Love the place and thank y’all ! I hope the management will read this.
From the moment we were browsing the menu outside, Chef June came out to greet us—and right away, we felt incredibly welcomed and special. The atmosphere inside is the perfect blend of modern elegance and relaxed comfort. Chef June is truly a master of their craft—everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Nicole, our server, was warm, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. It was our last day in London and also an early birthday celebration for my sister, and this meal made it all the more memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town!
What an amazing experience! Their waiter Rubel filled our champagne and looked after us the whole afternoon way. He always had a smile on his face. It was amazing from start to finish, and the atmosphere was exceptional. The atmosphere was amazing, and the view was incredible. The special view of the bridge was amazing. Thank you for making our last day of honeymoon special... We will be back! Thanks again Rubel.
03/2025 We dropped in late but the kitchen was still open. We got super friendly service, nice staff. Lady Rumin We ordered beer and: Fish and Chips. All perfect. Tasty sauce, super fries and brillant fish, fresh, crusty and hot. A top recommendation. We will taste again. RSeib
We had an excellent experience at Vicinity London! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were outstanding, especially the Camden Town beer. The service was exceptional, with special thanks to our waiter, Cosmin, who was attentive, friendly, and made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
We had such a great experience eating here! We honestly ordered nearly half the menu because we were interested in so many things. Reynaldo was our waiter and he did such a great job, especially since we were a bit complicated. Everything was fairly quick and absolutely delicious. Save room for dessert because the apple tarte tatin was fantastic!
Lovely food with geat views overlooking Tower Bridge. One of our group has a nut allergy and our sever was really helpful if explaining what dishes were ok to eat. The kitchen kept the plates separate too.
Cool Place to Dine out next to Tower Bridge. Views are amazing. FirePit table recommended. Food portions were filling and great taste. Service very good and lovely atmosphere. Easy access from Tower hotel.
This restaurant has amazing tower bridge views (if you sit outside). It was bit chilly for me and I sat inside but still enjoyed good views while having salad and tea here. My server was super nice. I was craving something light to eat and salad I ordered was perfectly made. My jasmine tea was also good. Highly recommend this place !
Breathtaking Views and Exquisite Wines at Vicinity Restaurant and Bar My recent visit to Vicinity Restaurant and Bar was nothing short of spectacular. The highlight of our evening was the stunning views of the Tower Bridge, which added a magical touch to our dining experience. We were lucky enough to be offered table number one, which boasts the most incredible views in the restaurant - a privilege we greatly appreciated. The wine selection was impressive, with a special nod to the premium wines. As a fan of Argentinian Malbecs, I was thrilled to find a remarkable selection, each more delightful than the last. It's not every day you come across a place that combines such a stunning ambiance with a top-tier wine list. We hadn't booked in advance but the staff was accommodating and made sure we had a wonderful experience. This level of service and the breathtaking setting make Vicinity a must-visit spot. I'm already planning my next visit and have been recommending it to friends and family. If you're looking for a place with an exquisite atmosphere, fine wines, and views that will leave you in awe, Vicinity Restaurant and Bar should be at the top of your list.
Vicinity was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday! The atmosphere was lively, and the views of the Tower Bridge were stunning. The food was delicious, and the service made the evening feel special. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a special occasion with fantastic scenery, Vicinity is the place to be. I had an amazing time and highly recommend it!
Albina gave us fantastic service during our dinner at the Vicinity. We were staying at The Tower Hotel and included a dinner as part of our stay. The food was good, honest pub grub and we were well catered for - and drinks topped up - which was nice to celebrate our occasion. They were even kind enough to seat us close to the Bridge for a wonderful view alongside a glass of bubbly, which was very welcome. Thank you to all the team at Vicinity for making our meal so memorable!
Had a great experience here The food was delicious but what really stood out was the service from our waiter Shaon. Shaon was attentive polite and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. His professionalism truly elevated the whole dining experience.
We visited on Monday evening and sat inside, but unfortunately the service was quite disappointing and the waiter was very rude. However, we came back again this afternoon because my husband really wanted to sit at the fire table and thank God our server was Shaon this time. Shaon was extremely friendly caring and attentive. Even though it was very busy he still made sure everything was perfect for us. Shaon is truly charming. We will definitely be back to enjoy New years eve at the fire table and we hope to receive the same amazing service again.
Outstanding service from our waitress, Loredana —friendly, professional, and always with a warm smile. The food was decent but didn’t quite justify the price. The mash was underwhelming, and the red wine sauce lacked depth. However, the steak was well-cooked and full of flavour. The setting is a highlight, with a fantastic view of Tower Bridge and a relaxed, mellow atmosphere for lunch. The outdoor seating is a great option, featuring comfortable chairs and effective heating, making it a pleasant spot year-round.
The steak was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere and the place were great, but the one thing I didn’t like about the place, you’ll notice it when you’re there
Great location! We are staying at the tower hotel and came here 2 days in a row sofar. Decent service, ok food, and amazing views! Om average they use fresh ingredients and food is quite alright. It has three different sitting areas and when the weather is nice it's really nice outside!
This place lives on it's location and view. And both is lovely! Direct next to the river with a great view on the Tower Bridge. So if whenever possible, sit outside of course. The food variations included several burgers as well as different pizzas or chicken meals. Drinks are the usual ones, including a couple of national and international beers. Staff was very quick and friendly. Yes, not the cheapest place, bur hej, keep in mond where You are and enjoy the view ;-)
Just order pizza, so can’t really comment on the food. Hv a gd view for Tower Bridge, can take wonderful photo. Really hard to find a staff to order though.
We have been staying at the hotel for the last four days, and overall the experience has been very good. So we were really looking forward to enjoying our Sunday evening.Unfortunately our first impression was very disappointing. The way the lady manager threw the menu on our table felt rude and unprofessional as if she was irritated. Honestly it was hard to understand how she is in a managerial position. However our server Shaon did his absolute best to make us feel comfortable and happy. He was very friendly smiley nd attentive throughout. We r truly grateful to Shaon for saving what could have been a disastrous evening.Based on the initial experience this deserved 1 star but because of Shaons excellent service we are giving 4 stars.
We ordered two drinks, a cauliflower appetizer and a pizza. The cauliflower had zero flavor other than the dip. We had to send the pizza back because it was hardly cooked, ten minutes later it was not much improved. For all this experience, we had to pay $60! I recommend going anywhere else.
Visited with friends for the festive seasonal afternoon tea, and the food was very disappointing. The method of serving is gimmicky (see pictures) & makes the food a pain to get to; it would be much better served using a normal 3-tier round stand - it's a traditional staple of afternoon tea for a reason. The little scones & clotted cream were nice, but the jam was mediocre and brought down the taste profile of the treat; I've had better from Lidl. The "sandwiches" (I use this term loosely, because two were just pieces of bread with bits chucked on top & labelled "open sandwiches") lacked flavour, and the only actual sandwich on the platter was rather soggy, with a nice cranberry sauce that almost masked an otherwise cardboard-like taste. The small festive cakes on the top tier were okay, but again I've had better from Lidl. The atmosphere... the most "lovely" it felt was when someone's phone rang with the jingle bells tune playing. A bit of music definitely wouldn't go amiss. 3/10 - definitely not worth £55 per person.
Disappointing Birthday Experience – Overpriced and Underwhelming I was genuinely excited about this restaurant – it’s advertised as having a beautiful view of the River Thames and Tower Bridge, and my husband booked it as a special treat for my birthday. We decided to skip afternoon tea and go for a full meal: a few starters, mains, and three desserts. Sadly, the experience just didn’t live up to the expectations. First, the view we were looking forward to (and that they showcase on Instagram) is only available if you book for afternoon tea — something they don’t clearly mention. We were seated by a window, but the view was blocked by a building, so there went the “wow” factor. The food was average at best, definitely overpriced for what it was. The arancini starter was good, but the fish and chips were bland (the fish had no seasoning), and the steak pie wasn’t great either. For the price and the location, we expected better. Service was extremely slow — we waited up to 30 minutes between courses, no one checked in on us, and the basics like water, salt, pepper, or napkins had to be requested (and sometimes never arrived). What really left a sour taste was the fact that we noted in the reservation that it was my birthday, and there was no gesture at all. I understand it’s not a requirement, but even a simple “Happy Birthday” would’ve been appreciated. Unless you’re a tourist hoping for a quick bite near Tower Bridge (and even then, it’s a stretch), I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not the spot for a celebration, and definitely not worth the price.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was frustrating. It took 25 minutes before anyone took our order, and another 5 minutes to receive our pre-ordered drinks—30 minutes in just to get something to drink. Starters arrived 45 minutes after arrival, mains took 1 hour and 20 minutes, and dessert was brought 10 minutes after we finished our mains—but only after we specifically requested it. When dessert arrived, it was brought out with takeaway containers, leaving us to box it up ourselves. When we asked for a bag to carry it in, we were dismissively told, “We don’t have bags.” Staff were cold and disengaged throughout, with waiters standing around instead of actually helping, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. When I raised concerns with the manager about the delays, he just responded, “One hour?”—then walked away and avoided our table for the rest of the meal. He sent a staff member to deliver updates like “the food will be a few minutes.” It all felt careless and unprofessional. The food was a mixed experience. The chicken tenders were hot, fresh, and genuinely tasty. Chips and fries were also served hot. However, the steak was cold from the moment it arrived and undercooked (rare instead of medium). The kale was cold and extremely tough. The red cabbage slaw had a strange, fermented, alcohol-like taste—definitely not fresh. The chicken burger lacked flavour entirely, with only a subtle burnt aftertaste. No one asked if we wanted sauces until a staff member overheard me complaining about it at the table. A few decent elements couldn’t make up for the lack of service, poor attitude, and inconsistent food quality. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
We had gone for the afternoon tea which we had reserved in advance. We were given a seat with the worst view, almost at the corner by two sides of the wall which cut of most of the view for some of our party. We asked if there was a top floor and the manager of the restaurant said I can go ask up stairs(which is another part of the hotel if they have seats, didn't offer to do it for us, which they didn't have). We finally sat down in the original place and they brought the tea. It didn't have some of the flavors mentioned in their list. One of our members had allergies to a wide range of allergens and we let them know and they said they would provide a fruit bowl instead of the normal accompaniments. They took a long time to bring the food which we later found was due to them creating some of the savory treats and scones from scratch, kudos to them for that. But unfortunately that delayed the food a lot (I had drunk 3 cups of tea by then) and the staff didn't clearly explain or give attention to us during the time. I felt some of the staff didn't give us much attention, brushing us off and we're looking down on us. The food was not that great too. All in all not a great experience.
As i am writing this review i seated at the fire pit watching the tower bridge. The view is amazing and the staff is very kind. If the food would be as great as the view then this restaurant would be a 10/10. I had the “bbq spicy chicken” the pizza is the same as the rustic classic but with pices of chicken and a few small tomatos. I would give the taste of the pizza a 4.5/10.
Outstanding customer service, Bland food. Had fish and chips with lots of small pieces of sharp bones left inside. Was completely disappointed. The chicken spicy pizza was terrible too, not even spicy, like eating rubber. Deffer would NOT recce this restaurant to anyone at all. Normally I don't give bad reviews, but this wss the worst place ive ever eaten in London, especially by a tourist hot spot. Never to return and spend my money and time else where. The young English girl, with black hair. Can't remember her name was fantastic, she has to much potential in life.
We came here for the afternoon tea service that is £35 per person. When we entered, the servers didn't seem too helpful to get us seated. When we asked for a seat with the view of the Tower Bridge, the manager asked us to go check it for ourself on the top floor but it won't be their responsibility. The hosts were hostile. We had requested, 5 hours prior to our appointment about an allergy friendly food plate, but they were not prepared for it. So they made us wait, did not come in to check in on us. We had to call them and they said it is being prepared. We were on our third cup of beverage when they finally got the food. The food in itself was super underwhelming. The finger sandwiches tasted horrible and the deserts were way too sweet. For an establishment with such a premium view and price, this place is trash. Would never reccomend it.
