First time in Cali. So I'm not focusing on food spots that I can get where I live. This was fire👏🏽. This is a chicken sandwich now. There was more chicken than bread, it was juicy, crispy, seasoned and flavored well. And the coleslaw and sauce they use to put on it, just amplified it even more. Im beyond pleased and will for sure be coming back next time I'm out here. A1🔥 Oh, the loaded mac and cheese. That slapped too damn much. Im lactose intolerant but its ok, that was worth it.

Food was great the hottest one is Habenero and Ghost pepper so it is a great level of spice just enough to make me sweat a little. Looks like they throw more spice on after they fry it so it will taste and smell like ghost peppers do, so if you dont like that taste do not get it. I personally loved the taste my girlfriend got Medium 6 piece wings and she said the chicken was very crispy and the spice was enough to make her sweat a little for someone that thinks sirracha is spicy.

If you are in the mood for a good chicken sandwich, Crimson Coward is worth visiting. I ordered The Crimson, their signature sandwich, with a side of fries. The sandwich was incredibly fresh. I could practically hear the hot oil crackling. It was also huge. The chicken hung so far past the bun that I could have made a second sandwich with it. Most importantly, it was delicious. I chose mild since I was not sure how hot their spice levels were, and I was on my work break, so I did not want to test my limits. I guess that makes me the coward in this scenario. My coworker might be allergic to capsicum, so she chose Country Style, which has zero heat but is still full of flavor. The fries were tasty as well. They were crispy, fresh, and well seasoned, which made them a perfect complement to the sandwich. For those who care, they offer Pepsi products. I served myself a half sweet tea and half pink lemonade mix, which was the perfect drink to go with my meal. There were a few tables available, and the AC was nice and cold. That is definitely helpful if you order something super spicy. The staff were very friendly, although I think they could use a bit more help. Only two people were running the entire store during lunch. One person took orders while the other prepared them. This did not affect my visit too much, but I can see it becoming an issue if they get any busier. Everything is made fresh, and hiring at least one more person would likely improve the experience. All in all, this place is great and definitely worth a visit.

We had a great experience at Crimson Coward in Long Beach! The service was fantastic from the moment we walked in---the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. For the food, we really enjoyed the chicken. The Crimson sandwich and sliders we delicious! The chicken was so juicy, tender, and crispy, and the sauce had the perfect amount of kick. We also tried the garlic twister, which was flavorful and unique. The Crimson onions were a definite highlight and a great side to share. Overall, it was a really positive visit. I highly recommend Crimson coward for anyone looking for some amazing hot chicken and great service. The only thing is, there is a 3% credit card surcharge.

The fried chicken is awesome. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They use Halal chicken. You can pick from like 3 or 4 spice levels. The chicken pieces are huge. The chicken sandwich is their best seller, and it was really good. I loved it.

The chicken sandwich here is huge, like seriously massive. It's like the size of an arm. Flavor is great, and you definitely get more food compared to Dave’s Hot Chicken. The staff is really helpful too. First time I came in, they could tell I wasn’t sure what to order and helped me out, which I appreciated. Will be back.

Excellent food and outstanding customer service! They have 4 spice levels. I did zero spice, husband did medium. It has great flavor, juicy chicken.... and crispy too! We also had the fried pickles. Thinner than hamburger pickles but still thick enough for good flavor. Really good!

Again spice I feel was spot, just gets salty at times. If come back to try other options including their "Snash burger". Pleasant experience overall.
