I am always amazed by the staff at this location. Fast, friendly and welcoming service! Never rushed! Always personable, everything organized. And the manager hands on. Everyone works together and you can really tell! Despite the business at the front everything is always friendly and speedy service. Thank you!
First-time here in ages, and IHOP didn't disappoint for lunch. Had a new menu item, the Cali Roasted Turkey melt with onion rings. I was expecting something that would've been kind of tough to bite and chew on, but I was totally wrong. The onion rings were crispy to perfection and stayed that way all the way to the last ring. The turkey melt was perfectly moist and practically melted in my mouth. I hope to return soon so that I can have both again...even if I have to take it to-go.
I order the Oreo Waffle Combo, it was so DELICIOUS, I recommend it if you like sweet things.
Great service and food! Even when the place was packed we were seated promptly, the service was friendly and fast!
So different with Covid. And first dining in experience since 2-21-2020, so unsure what to expect. But, clean, quick courteous service and good food, prices a little Hawaiian but, so far so good! Remember to keep that mask on until served!
I've enjoyed eating at IHOP for 50 years now. The food is always good. I miss the potato pancakes & the blintzes but still think they have a great menu. The employees at this location are friendly & professional.
Great meal! I had protein pancakes with berries, 2 were plenty and they were delicious! Service was prompt and efficient and everyone loved their food.
Me and my family know this place since a while ago!! More than 5 years!! We came back yesterday after all this about the pandemic!! We had a great time !! Especially with our best friend Martin!! He's the BEST!! But all the people who works in there are excellent and professional 👏 👌 👍!! Affordable prices, delicious food 😀 and very friendly staff!! Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏
I enjoyed my meal. I'm on a strict eating regimen. What I ordered kept me full the rest of the day. A little expensive but I look at it as treating myself when I don't feel like cooking.
Quick service, calm atmosphere for a Saturday morning, waitress was very relaxed and anticipated our needs, the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium and the pancakes were delicious, and check out was quick. We also noticed how kindly and uniquely each guest was welcomed. They had special tables that they knew regulars would like. I was surprised Yelp only gave 2.5 stars.
IHOP is always a hit with me. On cool mornings when there is a long line out the door waiting for a table, just tell them you want to sit outside and you'll be seated within 5 minutes. Loved the service and of course the pancakes were great! Their crepes are good too, but their hash browns are much better than most places. These are actually seasoned! Goes great with hot sauce!
This particular IHOP was a slight short wait but the food was delicious and this and the service was superior. I had two young kids with me we ordered up the kids menu it was a great value for the price. I am going to come back for a happy hour which is got specials on some of their dishes. Lots of parking great food great fun. This is the googleguideguy James Parada giving you a review and sharing my photography. Thanks for checking out my photography on IHOP America’s favorite restaurant in favorites breakfast destination.
I was super excited that had dine. They still practice social distance..the tables are a very good diatance apart and only a few diners at a time. The customer service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the wait tome is not long. This is absolutely my favorite IHop Location
This has to be the best IHOP that exists. The manager Martin is one of a kind. The entire staff is over the top friendly. They're very fast and accurate with orders. And the food is great.
I had a great experience today starting with the host Sylvia and my server Rafael both very knowledgeable in the menu. Great attitudes over a great and perfect experience. Thank you
Our server was great. Food was just right. Lots of cryptic messages from the management posted at the entry. Somebody likes to feel like they're in control... it must be difficult to work there.
I enjoy going to this place anytime I want a hot breakfast. The employees are super polite and the service is great.
This was a nice, quiet and clean IHOP in Long Beach. It’s close to a natural foods store and Trader Joe’s. A Target and Ross are also in walking distance. This came in handy for us when we needed to buy a stroller because we didn’t think to pack ours. The employees at this IHOP were friendly and timely. It’s in a great and beautiful part of town.
I had the thick Strawberry Banana French Toast with eggs, bacon, and hash brown. It was delicious but I had to rush my eating because I was running on very little time for work. I enjoyed it though. Service can be slow if they're understaffed.
Exceptional service. Long Beach IHOP was awesome 👌
We had a wonderful lunch here the other day. Looks like they've redone their menu and added some dishes they at one time took away plus did some refreshing of the dining room. I had a special request for a salad made a certain way they the chef made it up for me. It was excellent! My hubby had his usual pancakes breakfast mega plate. Keep making those improvements. We love you all.
Great place with wonderful service. Super friendly service and we were seated super fast. My wife and I will definitely be coming back.
It's what you would expect from an IHOP. That being said, the reason I am writing this review is to compliment our server. I unfortunately do not recall her name, but whoever the employee was on Thursday afternoon, 1/4/2024 at 3 p.m., who was working alone, no host, no other servers, and no busser, she is amazing. She provided the best service she could and communicated to everyone the situation, and they were all understanding, for the most part. She even prioritized food pickup for a LEO without missing anyone's requests. Everytime I saw her walk by, I thought, she must have forgot what I asked for but then she would come right back with it. She should be doing the hiring and training at your location.
Really good experience the food is good and tey only took like 10 minutes to get the food.
Food was amazing and service was perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more.
There was a 15min wait considering it's a Sunday it's to be expected. My family and I ordered the waffle and chicken meal with the French toast egg and bacon meal with a side of hashbrowns and 2 yogurts totaling ($45.00). It was great the waitress was great and had a very nice smile!!! My only complaint is to cook the chicken softer!!
Staff is awesome. They make you feel at home.
Great customer service and food was delicious
Enjoyed the classic hamburger. Was better than some.
We have been spending a lot of time in this place which they always take care of us very well, except that one kiss was served by a rocker whose name I don't remember. but she omg apart from bad temper he never gets us what we ask and then until we got another rocking chair, Lupe, I think her name is a very good person. The truth is, she took us everything that the other one didn't take us but apart from everything we always like all the food and all the service
A few of her friends wanted to take me out for a belated birthday breakfast this is her first time this location I had the strawberry banana crepe breakfast everything was delicious and beyond yummy
The service here was phenomenal honestly. They told me they'd have a wait list of 20-25 mins so I stopped away for a while, when I came back, the server recognized me and ran out to inform me a table was cleared and got me seated quick. Once seated, the service from there was amazing and very quick. Once we had left, my brother forgot his sunglasses on the table and we never realized it until one of the waiters came running outside and found us and returned the glasses. Honestly, I'd rare them 10 out of 5 if I could. God bless you all and thank you for everything. Keep on keeping on, always!
It was really fun spending time inside the IHOP restaurant in Long Beach, California, where I visited with my teenage friend. The place felt lively and exciting there in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot. The food we ordered tasted so good that both of us kept talking about how much we loved it, which made the whole visit feel even more fun for us. By my surprise, the atmosphere felt completely relaxed and welcoming even though it was just a simple restaurant, which makes it perfect for teenagers who love hanging out and talking for hours. It is a familiar restaurant to me but I didn’t realize how much there was to enjoy at this location until I sat down and spent real time inside. I really appreciated how easy it was to have fun there without feeling rushed. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited this IHOP one time in my life before I made this review. It was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing places I’ve been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to eat good food, hang out for hours, and feel comfortable being themselves.
The wait time to secure a table in the morning was approximately 15 minutes, which felt reasonable given the busy atmosphere. Once seated, I was impressed by the exceptional customer service; the staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed for a pleasant dining experience. As for the food, it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Each dish was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared, showcasing a delightful variety of flavors and ingredients that catered to different tastes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I was pleased to find such a diverse menu offering many culinary options.
First-ever IHOP but I was so surprised by the taste of the food! Expected it to be more "plain", but the omelette, chicken-pesto crêpes, double blueberry pancakes and classic eggs benedict with hash browns were all so scrumptious 🤤 Portions were large, tasty, and the service was excellent too: the staff kept asking us whether we needed anything. Outside seating is available. Very good experience and would love to go here again! 😄
The food is what you expect, nothing terrible. There’s plenty of shared parking with the shopping center. Our waitress, Maribel was great! She was the only waitress and hostess available. Maribel made sure our drinks were topped off, orders brought out as ordered and in a timely manner. That included the 5+ other parties in the restaurant.
I had breakfast sampler, it had Sunny side up eggs, bacon, ham and fried potato. The hot chocolate was very thin and didn’t taste good at all. However, I loved butter pan cakes and Original Maple Syrup. My friends ordered Chocolate Chip and Blueberry pan cakes and they tastes amazing too. I gave 5 starts only because I ignored Hot Chocolate and tastes the amazing rest of the items.
You will love IHOP. They have great pancakes and all their breakfast items are just wonderful. They also have good burgers and sandwiches. Their dinner items are not the best, but they are fairly priced. Inside is spotless and the bathrooms are clean. The service here is very good. All the staff is nice and very friendly. They get to you pretty fast and your food comes out hot and as ordered. There is free parking. The prices are fair and they have specials all the time so look out for them. You will enjoy this IHOP. Have fun.

Pancakes are fluffy, lots of syrup choices, service can be slow on weekends.
The employees however nice they do talk loud in Spanish. I do understand them and they should really watch their mouths and all the foul language said while cooking its a shame. Sometimes the food comes out within 13 minutes of ordering and others its past 30 min. They do become known to their customers.
Great service not as crowded today. Probably due to rain & time change. Our server Rafael was awesome. My egg white omelet was perfect. It was a nice atmosphere.
Excellent service, the food was as expected good, it was a little busy because of Mother's Day . Good experiences
Excellent service, it was a Wednesday with a clear chill in the air at half past noon. There were some tables open, we did not have to wait. Waitress was very attentive, she checked on us, several times. She even told us, she was taking a break, so we would not have to worry, as to what happened to her. After her break , she came to check on us. Restaurant was very clean. Tables clean, floor clean.
When my partner and I came to this location, it was understaffed. You can see the stress on our waiters as he busts tables, seats patrons, and works the cash register. This guy needs a raise. The people in the kitchen seem stressed as well. Clearly, this place has bad management. Shame on the manager for not having the ability to lead their restaurant with any regard for their workers. Do better. And give these folks a raise. They deserve it.
Good customer service. Good quality food. Server was attentive. The male workers had a loud conversation couldn't hear myself speak, I saw other customers requesting to move to another table.
Service was ok [servers are slow] overall.
Good food and service on our last visit.
This location is the closest clean IHOP to me so it's the default when I'm craving pancakes. The food is mostly good, sometimes you get burnt bacon and sometimes you'll get a little bit of burger with your grease. I've personally only had a nice waitress one time here so if you don't mind blunt replies and annoyed/tired facial expressions you'll be fine. The breakfast items are great so despite the service I'll keep coming back.
Food very good. Pumpkin Pancakes, turkey sausage omelet
The service was good, the food had a slightly off taste to it, like the oil used was recycled and the plates organization was kind of weird and invaded with too much food everywhere. The atmosphere was a typical IHOP with background talking/chatting and clinking of silverware on places or spoons stirring coffee. Not bad but not the best IHOP I’ve visited. Gets the job done when your hungry but if your looking for a full IHOP “WOW” you won’t get it here… I feel like they were understaffed
They were understaffed the day I went, 1 server with 8 tables and about 4 to 5 dirty tables. But as always a great experience with the food that came out quickly. Server was doing her best to keep up with the tables and bussing she had to do all by herself. She was great, polite and professional. Management should definitely keep a busser with server on staff to keep the tables clean. The server did her best and I hope they can fix this problem so they don't take advantage of the employees and give the customers a good IHOP experience like the other locations.
It’s IHOP. Good place for breakfast. That said, the cinnamon pancakes my wife and I shared were not great. The standard bacon and eggs our daughter had looked much better. I struggled between two and three stars for atmosphere, because it was very noisy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
I can't believe this IHOP is still around. Bless it's little heart. Haven't been here in decades. Was in area and needed to kill some time plus hungry for some pancakes. I wasn't disappointed. Had banana and strawberry pancakes with hashbrowns, eggs and pork sausages. Friend had the oreo waffles with the same as me but bacon. Eggs tasted artificial but looked real fluffy. Food was tasty and we gobbled it down with the exception of the eggs. Hashbrowns made like I requested, crispy. Service was cool. No complaints. Bathroom was clean but looked extremely old. Glad to see IHOP holding it down for the locals. Meal total was roughly $45

Like many large franchise, as the company gets taken over by larger companies quality suffers. But they are reliable and have competitive pricing. I do miss the good old days, before Monsanto took over the food "enchantment" business.
We were asked to sign in when we arrived the young lady said it would be about 15 min . I don't what happen we end up waiting for for 30 mins. And people that came in after us were seated first. However the food was good.
Good food, but poor service. The waiter never warned me that my drink want limitless when I ordered it, when I go to other IHOPs and it was limitless. Also, would of been awesome if the waiter done English, rather then a poor, and could barely understanding us, English.
Great new menu with special items for seniors as well as kids. Foods great, but I rated it low because of the long wait at cashier to pay. The waiters don't do that at this place. Not sure if all IHOP are like that. U end up in a line that is in the path of waiters, customers and it's no fun to wait 5 minutes to pay. I only go in Sunday so I'm sure it's not as bad on other days....but who knows?
Placed an online order. They left out part of my online order, again. Customer Service was not available, again. Phone rings continuously, and doess Not go to voicemail. Received "No drink." Although Ive paid for it. Expected a different outcome than from before. Don't expect to get what you pay for with insta cart delivery.
The food was fine, but the service was terrible. The hostess walked by us twice without any acknowledgement (a simple I'll be right with you would have been fine). When she finally seated us, we could barely hear a word she said telling us the server would be with us shortly. We sat waiting for over 5 minutes before a different server took our drink order. We then sat several more minutes before I had to ask for our server to come take our food order. The food came in a decent amount of time, but we were nearly finished eating before our server came by to offer a refill of our drinks. After finishing our food, we then sat for at least another 10 minutes when I finally had to ask for our check. The restaurant was fairly busy, but not enough to warrant this many delays. They were also several people waiting to pay their bill at the counter and to be seated (there were lots of open tables) while the hostess walked around wiping off tables. They really need to work on better service and have a hostess that pays more attention to the people in the waiting area.
Arrived around 9:30 AM for breakfast this Sunday morning, November 7th. Seated fairly quickly and waited at least 20 minutes for a server to take our order. Ordered with specifications about how we wanted our omelettes prepared and that we preferred our food be served hot (not room temperature). The server delivered our food to our table in a little over 20 minutes. It was cooked as we specified and was quite tasty. Our server (Sammy) apologized for the lengthy amount of time it took to take our order and deliver our food. Sammy explained that the restaurant was quite busy and was operating with limited staff. We encountered two problems during our visit. The first was a group of diners at the very back of the section in which we were seated who were extremely loud and quite frankly obnoxious with their inconsiderately high volume. Additionally, they appeared to keep their server going back and forth with matters pertaining to their order. Twice we asked hostesses passing by to let the diners know they were quite loud and disturbing us. Both said they’d alert management. Unfortunately the managers on duty at that time were unresponsive to our requests and did not appear at our table until after the diners left. When they did appear at our table, the first one defensively apologized for the loud diners saying “we got in trouble the last time (they) notified diners that they were disturbing others. Later, another manager poked his head into our booth area and asked us if we were “OK,” to which we replied that we were at that time (since the aforementioned loud diners had earlier departed the restaurant). The behavior and approach these managers exhibited about this situation seemed somewhat cowardly rather than timid. It might be that they were not careful about how they told the previous diners that “got them in trouble” that they were disturbing others. The second problem was with checkout. Our bill totaled $39.51. We asked the manager at the cash register if we could pay with both card and cash, to which he replied “yes.” After checking my wallet and discovering that I had no coins, I instructed him to charge my Visa debit card $15 and that we would pay $24 cash. I explained that I did not have coins to pay the exact $.51 change to pay $23.51.The manager replied that he did not have change for $24 to give me back the $.49 change due. He was told that this was no problem. After exiting the restaurant, I noticed that the manager charged my Visa card $15.51 and the receipt he issued was for only the card portion of the purchase…and he actually entered $15.51 for the card portion of the purchase. The register receipt he issued did not include any cash payment. I found this quite disturbing and borderline dishonest. Other than the couple of aforementioned problems, our dining experience was somewhat pleasant.
(2023) Update to review 4 yrs. ago - This place has gone downhill. Ordered the All-You-Can-Eat pancakes for $5. Could only eat 3 of the first five pancakes served because they were so dense and heavy. The limp, greasy strips of fat called bacon were horrendous. Also, I can recall when there were more than one flavor of syrup. Of course, only maple now. Maybe just a bad day at the griddle. (2019) Had not been to a IHOP in a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the booths were clean. The Swedish crepes were very tasty, although better in a smaller portion as part of a combo. The sandwiches are good as well as the promotional Grinch green pancakes. Children's entree free after 4pm. Only con was that just one waitress was working, doing everything but cooking behind the grill, so service a little slow. Will now be eating here more often.
My boyfriend and I had breakfast here. Since we look pretty young, it felt like the server didn’t give us as much attention as she did the older guests seated next to us. She took their food and drink orders right away, while we had to wait quite a bit. The food itself tasted good, but I didn’t like how the pancakes were slapped right on top of the eggs and bacon. Also, it was odd that the hash browns were cut into a rectangle shape which I wasn’t a fan of that presentation.
Aloha Auina La 9-10-25 1:30pm\n\nHappy Wednesday \n\nI haven't been to IHOP in years, and I mean like 20 years, left due to the service and the meal I received back then.\n\nDecided, it was time to…
I had ordered online & when I went to pick it up the employees took a long time to give me my order and to assist me. I'm disappointed I like IHOP, but my whole order was wrong and didn't realize until I was on my way home. I was missing the type of pancakes and french toast I ordered and instead was given plain pancakes and french toast. Instead of my hot chocolates, i was given coffees, my food had gotten cold. They had no cup holders. In all it was disappointing.
Just got out of the restaurant...... 20 min for someone to take our drink order. Another 35 min for our food to come out, well some of the order. Then I got the rest of my order after everyone else was done eating. Asked 3 different people for napkins, and finally the 4th person brought some. To top it off, there was a "curly" hair on one of my kids pancakes. Been here quite a few times and every time there is some issue with the place. Definitely will not be returning here again. And it sucks because I live around the corner. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the food isn't bad. They just can't seem to get it together there.
I've heard so many good things about IHOP and this may just be a bad one but the food was pretty bad at least for me. The chicken was pretty good. The Pancakes weren't that good which surprised me because it's IHOP. My friend almost threw up at the potatoes because when she took a bite, all the grease oozed out. I also tried it and was disgusted. Pretty safe to say we're not coming back.
My husband and I came in, was told 2 min that’s awesome. They sat us and forgot we were there. After 10 min without even a drink order taken and 3 tables sat orders taken and food given, I got a waitress to take our drink order and she was super rude. Then the manager came over to take out order after the waitress spoke to him and he never apologized or anything. They weren’t busy at all, it just seemed like no one wanted to be there at all and were inconvenienced with people coming to eat.
Waitress was lazy. She rarely checked on our table. And she did as little as possible. And when I tried to fill out the survey, I couldn't. Food was great & the atmosphere was pleasant. But the ladys service was lacking.
They can’t cook extra crispy haste brown, can’t put white mozzarella cheese with sauté onions and tomatoes on Hashbrowns. Female Manager didn’t care about my concerns about the service. No discount for screw up meal. Servicer kind enough saying constantly apologies for inconvenience but can’t give a discount. They didn’t care because many of customers coming in.Make sure I don’t come back this lack careless restaurant
We came in on a Monday and initially thought it was closed, but the pleasant server opened to door for us and assured us it was open. He said it was just him and the cook. The restaurant was completely empty, but we got sat by the window and got the kids set up in the high chair and booster seat. So we ordered drinks while we looked at the menu. After dropping off our drinks when we were getting ready to order the server informed us the system was down, so it would be cash only, is that OK? My wife and I didn't have any cash on us, so the server suggested we run across the street to the 76 station to use their ATM. My wife and I took a look around and apologized to the server and left. He was understanding and still quite pleasant. I felt bad for the server because it's not his fault. I will say this IHOP is cleaner and in better condition than the one at the Lakewood mall.
So been to Ihop in Dubai multiple times and loved everything on the menu. But this was just bad. Food was done with no care and looks did not match up to prior experiences. Taste was ok but greasy. Chicken bit tasteless and service was slow. The place was not even half full. The place was just dirty and you felt dirty just being there. Not sure if it is a bad area or just LA and the infestation of homeless people. We stayed in Long Beach for 9 days and never went back.

This location was so disappointing in many ways... First for myself, I ordered the Philly cheese steak stack. It was delivered on molded bread. I informed the waitress, and she tried to play me and say, "that's the way the bread is." I wasn't falling for it. I definitely sent it back. Secondly, my coworker ordered the fried chicken sandwich. It came with a steak knife, he cut it in half, and said that it was a little tough to cut, but he carried on any way. He starts to eat his lunch, while I'm waiting for mine to come back. Let's just say, he was served chicken tar-tar... it was NOT properly cooked. It was cold to the touch in the middle (and yes, I touched it as well). My food comes (with a French roll that doesn't have green spots on it), and now his plate has to go back. Needless to say, he changed his meal to a burger... Yes, we should've gotten up and walked away, but at this point, our lunch was almost over. And with all of the issues that we had, no discount was given. We graciously paid, but we will not be going back to this particular restaurant...
This rating is strictly for the front desk staff. I arrived with my mom and two year old son around 8:45am. It was crowded with maybe 5 vacant tables but no one waiting. I requested a high chair and was informed that a section of the restaurant would not allow for one due to fire hazard restriction. I was offered a seat in the back but decided to wait. The wait was about 15minutes for an appropriate space to place a high chair. After dinning I spotted a family in the restaurant with a high chair in the same section that was quoted to me to be a fire hazard. This is unacceptable. Please do not treat other customers with different policies. It's already difficult dinning with a toddler. I will take my business elsewhere and have breakfast at SPRIES ON LAKEWOOD.
Horrible customer service. On Father's Day the hostess and waiter made us feel discriminated. And didn't not provide accurate information. We were told 30 min wait turned into 2 hours. Martin Pablo Samantha made our fathers day a traumatic experience. We honestly only reason we stayed is because I'm diabetic and I would not be able to go anywhere else. Honestly I'm not sure how long or how well staff is trained. But this our first time out after covid. I honestly pray our food wasn't impaired or messed with.
I'm about to walk out. I guess no service If you're grabbing a bite by yourself as a woman? Lol. ✌ Edit: hostess gave me a complimentary drink when I left. Thank you. She was very apologetic. Maybe I have to be a white woman to receive service here. Lol
I love I hop! I’ve been coming here for years. But one thing is you have to have good customer service, these two lady’s had a horrible attitude the lady with glasses Sylvia is a smart Alec and seems like she does not want to get bothered when being asked for something. 2nd the other lady she just had an attitude and honestly didn’t even seem like she wanted to attend us. I give the restaurant a 5 but the customer service a 0
The worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. I am 69 years old it's been a long time and a lot of restaurants. This one is absolutely the worst. While I ordered coffee and waiting for any service member to come back and take our order no one ever showed up. Myself and my partner decided to get up and leave I left a $5 bill on the table they didn't even check me out the door there was nobody around. The whole place was empty there was one other Party of Five sitting there in another room. Wouldn't even think about eating there after that treatment.
We went there on July 2nd around 2:15pm. We had maybe 19 people which some were children. We were coming from a funeral of My B.F.F. The Father wanted to go there because that is where he used to eat with his daughter he losted. The waitress was great, however she was overwelmed. It was due to the lack of waitresses and hostess. I felt bad for the waitress , but I dont remember her name. I think the manager or owner needs to know this. Hands up for the Waitress! BTW! The website The Owner sent me does not work!! I guess I will have to get in touch with corporate or someone!
We stop in IHOP for breakfast the waiter was very stinky dirt uniform and also the restrooms 🚻 was very smelling no toilet paper. He takes the order wrong he trying to urging state fixing the problem also the cooks need to be training 🙄 how to handle foods.. and coffee was cold 🥶 very disappointed 😞 the supervisor need to send this workers to serve save class and provide more training. PLEASE DON'T SERVE FOOD IF IS NOT PROPER COOK...YOU GUYS CAN KILL SOMEONE. THANKS!
Horrible food. Had to wait 20 min to be seated, service lady was great, food was NOT. Pancakes were raw the 1st and 2nd time after we asked for replacement. We ended paying full price, no one even bothered offering us anything, not credit, not replacement. For a chain that big to come up with a half decent pancake batter should be plain and simple. You can contact me anytime I'll prepare one for you!!!
I cannot really review this Ihop, except to say their hours are all over the place and seem to close whenever they feel like it. The door says open daily till 11pm. Online says open until 12pm, another sign on the door says open till 10pm Sat. We showed up at 9:30pm doors are locked. 2 tables of 4 people each are inside all lights are on but no one will answer the door. Figure it out people. We went to Denny's down the street. Go there, clean and friendly people, oh and they are open.
We walked by on Saturday and saw a sign saying that kids eat free from 4 to 10. It was a "permanent" sign - not a promotional one. We took the kids on Monday and were told AFTER the meal that kids no longer were free. The promotion had been on for five months, and there was NO indication that it was ending. They just shrugged their shoulders. This is not the way to attract repeat customers. (They do not have gluten-free toast.)
Walked, and got seated. Straight faced older gentlemen asked if wanted to drink something, heard us, and walked away. I felt as if he hated us for coming in, and making him work. We got our drinks and 2 minutes later another younger waiter came and asked if we were ready, straight faced just like the previous one. Never smiled, or asked anything (not that I needed a conversation) but at least some expression would have been great other than ( I hate working here and being here). I ordered banana Nutella crepes (about 10$). Not long after, he brought our food, again barely said anything. I was excited to try crepes as I love them especially with nutella. My god, how can you mess it up with something simple as crepes. Especially a place that is supposed to be experts in these dishes. Crepes were undercooked,i felt as if I was eating plain flour mixed with some salt and water. Way too salty (as if they made them for breakfast with bacon) and then there was barely any nutella. They were topped a bit, and then empty inside. So what I did is scooped some nutella from the 2 crepes and added it to the other 2. The best part of my dish=banana slices. I guess they mastered in slicing bananas. I used to love IHOP. I barely ever write reviews. Had to express my disappointment. Will definitely not be back. What a joke of a place.
We just visited this IHOP and left extremely disappointed. Not once did our server come to check if we needed anything—not a refill, not an extra napkin, nothing. Meanwhile, we noticed them going to certain tables at least 15 times, laughing, chatting, and making sure they had everything they needed. The favoritism was beyond obvious, and it really ruined the experience. Every customer should be treated equally, not based on who looks like they’ll leave the biggest tip. Poor service all around, and we won’t be coming back.
