Avis sur Wa Wa Restaurant Long Beach
Seriously, the best! Amazing service, fresh fresh fresh food! Every single time. Consistently delicious. Hospitality 10/10 I’ve had a lot of Chinese food, at a lot of different restaurants in many different cities and this is by far the best! Wawa is always my first choice over any other Chinese food. Still frequent here since I loved to Long Beach years ago. Nothing has topped them yet.
It's your typical Hole in the Wall Chinese place but that's what makes it so awesome it's one of those places that have been here forever because the food is just that damn good
They helped me in a bind. Ordered 16 meals for my team at work. Everyone loved the food. They cooked everything fresh in about 30 mins. Amazing!! Super friendly and accommodating. Fried wings, rice noodles & string beans! Delicious and fresh wok cooking.
This place is great! It's close to the Westin so it's really convenient, and it's small and cozy and the food comes out quickly. The Thai green tea boba was fantastic and the food all tasted really great! (Definitely try the curried chicken :D) Everyone working here was so sweet and friendly and it was a wonderful experience overall. I would definitely recommend this place!
Their iced coffee is always smooth and well balanced.
Surprisingly good "hole in the wall" place. Great soups, excellent value and super flavorful dishes. Might be best as takeout. I dined in. The table atmosphere is lacking but that might be part of the charm.
We got the two meat and two sides. We had an orange chicken and kung pao and shared; they were both very good. Both were very good. We stopped for a combo lunch/dinner after a flight and on the way to our hotel, so they tolerated luggage in tow.
Tasty, hearty meal for an amazing price. Friendly and fast service. Perfect
Visiting downtown Long Beach and came across the Wa Wa Restaurant at 406 East 1st St. The Chinese menu looked good, so I ordered the Chicken Garlic -- and really enjoyed it! Fresh vegetables, nice and spicy, and I believe the cook brought it to my table. I liked it so much that I brought some friends from the nearby Dari Rulai Buddhist Temple there for dinner the next day. Everyone seemed pleased by the fast, tasty, Chinese food. This place is just a few minutes walk from the Courtyard by Marriott and the Westin -- so if you want take-out, it seems a natural. It's a simple place, but the food is great.
No frills fabulous. Great food. Great price. The staff were kind and quick. I would eat here again happily.
Always very sweet !! Food is delicious and plates are very full ! Love it here !! Will come back again!
Been here 3 times and the food is consistently delicious. Perfectly seasoned, tasty, veggies are crisp and fresh. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly. Definitely my favorite Chinese food place.
We saw a review that said this place has the best orange chicken they’ve ever had and they were right, and the hot and sour soup was perfect
Wa Wa is the best Chinese food I have experienced in Long Beach. The food is always fresh. My favorites are the Wor Wong Ton soup and the Vegetable dish. Most Chinese restaurants fill both of these dishes with sweet sauces especially the veggie dish. Wa Wa serves their veggie dish steamed fresh vegetables and a fresh house sauce.
Very tasty great staff. Spicy chicken and the peppers with beef is awesome. Best place so far in Long Beach for Chinese fast food. 3 items for 10$ post tac
The food at Wa Wa is delicious! As far as fast food Chinese, it is so good that you would think it came from a restaurant. The orange chicken is amazing! The Won Ton soup is also delicious and always fresh!
I've been coming here 4years! Gr8 food! LB's. little secret! 👲👍usually go there once a month for a quick meal! Fresh & hot! Friendly staff & very professional service! Limited seating, but do have take out!
This place is legit! Great portions of good food, all served at a more than reasonable price!
I ordered the Wor WonTon Soup and I’m so happy I did. I’ve been under the weather and this clear broth with veggies and meat is perfect. The broth flavor is delicate but complex enough to be filling on its own. The wontons are not over cooked nor are any veggies, meat or shrimp 👌. Exactly what I was looking for AND at a great price. I also got a BBQ Pork skewer and veggie eggrolls which are also on point. The pork had the flavor of Pork and Seeds - it’d be killer with mustard. I took the dish to go - the soup was clearly made fresh as I waited. It was (is) still perfectly hot now that I’ve reached home and am enjoying it. I even called them to say thanks cuz I was soooo happy. Try it you just might love it 😊. The actual atmosphere is nothing special but it is clean and well lit. I’ll be back for their other entrees !
Went there to try it out. WOW, was I surprised. Excellent food, had a really good taste to the food, it looks like your ordinary Chinese takeout/dine in restaurant, but no way. I'll come back evrrytime that I'm staying in Long Beach. Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at.
If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing out—the best in LBC. Here’s a thing the restaurant doesn’t look significantly updated; it doesn’t look very hip, but all the money they could’ve used to renovate, they put into their food. The place is spotlessly clean, the food is delicious, and the vegetables are fresh. Look at the picture that broccoli is super fresh, not frozen. It’s really hard to get and keep broccoli crunchy but cooked. I’ve been to this restaurant maybe five times I visit every time I’m in Los Angeles and it is always fantastic. Try it out the owners are super friendly and they sell Cactus Cooler! Yum
Good Chinese takeout food - I got orange chicken and chow mein + fried rice. Fried rice and noodles were really good - not to msg, which is good. Orange chicken was a little dry but overall would order again - huge portions, and rlly well priced!!
Their food is friggen delicious! And affordable. I’ll be back. Super tasty.
Excellent food at a great price! Really enjoyed our meal.

Excellent food at a great price! Really enjoyed our meal.
First timer. Recently moved to the area and was looking for a nice Chinese food spot. Decided to try and they did not disappoint. The female worker was so accommodating. It was 30 min before closing and they cooked up our food fresh. The orange chicken was on point. Besides the food we also tried the Matcha Green Tea and Thai tea Boba so delish. Will be returning soon. Definitely recommend.
Great food and very reasonable price. Will definitely order once a week.
My favorite place to get chicken fried rice! They always make it fresh and it’s not too greasy! Also the prices are good!
Great Chinese food. They are setup like panda so you can run in and get something quick or order in bulk for family meals. Highly recommend this great value for dinner.
I just want to say I'm never disappointed in this place. The food is always so yummy and fresh. The workers are so nice and helpful. Great place for our small business community. Thank you 😊

Went at the end of the night so food wasn't appealing but I knew what I wanted and luckily they could accommodate me. I got some Hot n Sour Soup and some Lo Mein noodles. I took it home and it was still very hot and was very good. The noodles alright I will chop it up to getting ready to close bottom of the tray leftovers. I'll certainly give them another shot.
My combination fired rice was crazy fire I added bean sprouts and extra egg and it was on point no lie and it was under 15$ im forsure coming back 👌
Great place for a quick meal. It's a cozy place to dine in. Always clean and well kept. Stephanie is so nice and gives great service. The food is tasty and the prices are right. It's a little hidden gem. Parking is a problem. They close at 8:00pm so they start running out of food around 7:00pm. All in all I recommend WA Wa.
Very good Chinese restaurant, better than Panda Express 😋. The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, the food is fresh, but some of the dishes are too sweet.
Good value. Quick. Friendly service. Tasty.

Made to order food was delicious, little slow but worth it. The ready to eat selection I would skip.

We are here after seeing so many good reviews, and decided to see if we found our new Chinese spot. The man behind the counter was very friendly, and although since we came for dinner and most dishes were almost done and they were almost closing, he told us the whole menu was open to cook for whatever we wanted. We opted for a two item plate of Chow mein and rice with pepper beef and orange chicken for my partner, and glass noodle for me. I recc the glass noodle.
Had lunch here while attending a convention. Couldn't get shrimp fried rice in box and carry out box was too much to eat. Server behind counter had trouble giving me the right change. Argument ensued with another customer who was charged for using credit card.
I really wanted to love this spot. I came right at closing so that may have tainted the quality of the food. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and helpful. I had the fried rice plus orange chicken and beef and broccoli. Portions were large but taste was below average. Food was lukewarm and some of the dishes were over seasoned while the rice was under seasoned. The egg rolls were average. Chicken wings were tasty and would’ve been even tastier had they been cooked to order. Overall, I was satisfied and would have orders cooked to order next time.
Good Chinese food. Portions are good size, but I found the meat quantity was less in most of the dishes. The portion of rice they gave for chicken also wasn't enough.

Well the lady that served us, barely gave us any noodles. She sponged them up with the tongs and just puts a little bit of noodles. This didn't sit right with me for the price I'm paying. I hope this doesn't happen again or I will not be coming back. Other clients mentioned this too.

The food is not like it used to be. This has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for the past 5 years. The dishes always had a healthy amount of vegetables and meat. This recent order the war wonton soup it was pitiful. The pork belly and shrimp look like it had been sitting in a pot of soup all night long soggy a couple of pieces of chicken big pieces of cabbage and a few vegetables
I am very sorry to say this place has changed, they must be under new management 😩, it is now expensive and they no longer have the best egg rolls. The salt and pepper wings are bomb but at almost $17 no thank you

Found a chunk of metal in my smoothie. Went back to ask for full refund and her response was argumentative and flat out didn't see an issue with why I wouldn't eat the food after finding a metal chunk in my food and refunded me $5.50 for a $6.25 drink.I returned 2 drinks total and threw away their food. $32 wasted here on 2 boba drinks, 1 plate with 2 entrees, 1 tiny entree, and 1 small entree. Prior to this despite that I saw her telling the boy to add $0.75 charges multiple times to my order. Then when she walked away he added additional charges to the order. So I asked for a detailed receipt he would not provide one. There's 290 reviews at the time of writing this 6/18/24, let's see how fast they bury it.
Food was lousy. Tasted like leftover from a day or 2 being reheated constantly. When I walked in the lady that served me had a fly swatter killing flies and a handwritten sign “No Refunds” on the wall, that’s a good indication I should of turned around and walk out
Food has very low quality. The beef with green and red bell peppers was rubbery, and very hard to swallow. The chicken teriyaki had entirely too much fat on the chicken. To say the least I am disappointed with Wawa's food quality. I will not ever eat there again.
The lady is on her phone, grumpy face, not welcoming, food is extremely expensive, you get one and a half cups of food for $10, the smallest portion cost $10 extremely expensive I do not recommend

The food is good but don’t trust them to DoorDash your food. You will be out $108 with no Chinese food. They sent away every dasher saying that I didn’t pay for my food. I called and they told me the would remake my order and send it with the next dasher, but they cancelled my order all together.
