Magic china is amazing! Wonderful staff and service, the food is very good. A very calm and friendly atmosphere to be at if you want to be alone or bring your family!
Massive servings of great food. I have enough left to have a second full meal tomorrow. Generous amounts of meat and a huge side of noodles or rice with a huge amount of fried rice on the side.
Although very busy! The staff was amazing and food was very fast to come out. Everything was amazing! We are new to TX and trying a new restaurant weekly, My only regret is not coming here sooner!
As always, the food was hot and fresh. We got the lunch entrees and there was enought food for two meals each.
They are always so nice, and the food is always piping hot!
Wow. This food is amazing. The taste is just from another world. The people there are so nice and attentive.
This is our family’s go to Chinese place. We love the appetizer for two, foil chicken and crab rangoons. The price is always great and the service is outstanding! The drive way entrance to use the drive through and parking here is a little tricky, especially when there is evening or lunch time traffic, but outside of the heavy traffic the place is great.
Love this place. Only Chinese place I eat. Always fresh & hot. Great service.
I have been a long time customer here. The crab rangoons, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, shrimp, mangolian beef, sesame chicken, orange chicken, general tsaos chicken, combination lo mein, and soups are the bomb! The food is always fresh and hot! Highly recommend!
Food is always good and hot!! Been coming here a few years now, and it’s my favorite spot for Chinese food in Longview! The crab rangoon and the teriyaki chicken bowl are my favorite.
Love this place always amazing customer service and the food is always so fresh and delicious!🥰 amazing place to bring your family it’s a lot of food for a great price can’t get any better than that🥰
We've been depending on Magic China for years to provide delicious Chinese meals. We generally do take out and the food is ready when we arrive, well prepared and packaged and always delivered with a smile.
Excellent food. Large portions. Great prices!!
Food is always hot and fresh! Love everything on the menu & customer service is always top tier!!! Love my server she remembers everyone’s order:) HUGE portions! One of my family’s favorite places❤️
I love this place . The selections are plentiful. You can choose between a ( slightly ) smaller lunch portion or go for the dinner menu. The food is perfectly prepared . The taste keeps you coming back. I had planned to have lunch with a friend there on Monday. Plans changed & we set it for Tuesday . Tuesdays plans changed last minute . Finally we met on Wednesday . I made the comment " my taste buds are in Heaven". Great food. Great crew . fast service . highly recommended.
Very nice great food and it was all around great place
We love Magic China. Close to home. Great take out selections. Great staff. Good value... my wife and I can make 3 good meals. See the proof in my photos for today's trip at lunch. Thank you Magic China!
The girl that took our order was super patient and knowledgeable with the menu. She answered any questions we had about the menu and what's included. We've been hesitant to go here because we haven't seen anyone review this place but after trying their food it's all I'll ever want! The rangoons were perfect, not too tart. The egg rolls are the best I have ever had. Everything has a wonderful flavor! For what you pay for they give you a lot of food too unlike every other place around here. I'm so glad we decided to try this place tonight! They have a lot on their menu including all kinds of noodles, (beef, chicken, or shrimp lo mein) fried rice, different soups, and more. We tried their chicken lo mein, orange chicken, and general tso's. Everything was delicious and hot!
We got the chicken and rice and paid 2 more bucks for more chicken. It was very surprising how they can compact so much food in there to go container. UPDATE... The service is still great and the teriyaki chicken is awesome!
I read the reviews and was hesitant on trying this restaurant and decided to gamble ..I absolutely love this food hot, and delicious we couldn’t decide what was our favorites .. I will be returning for sure !!

Absolutely love the food, the dine in portions ars huge and they make your food exactly as you like. Mama remembers what we order and just how we like it. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and give it a try!
Great Chinese food cooked to order, no steam table. We had the generous lunch portion of moo gu gai pan and it came with soup, fried rice and egg roll for $10. Really good ft food.
I came through the drive through as always. Food is always hot! Thanks to the great cook(s)!!!! Service has always give that great friendly customer service vibe. The atmosphere gives that they are all about satisfaction, guaranteed. Thanks guys for all of your hard work, it’s greatly appreciated!!!
Traveled to Longview from Texarkana to see the Christmas lights and stopped here for some Chinese while in town! Food was awesome and service was friendly. We WILL be back!!
Magic China has THE BEST Chinese food in Longview, Tx. I've tried multiple places (with Chinese being my favorite) and the other places don't even compare. Anything we order is always fresh and never disappoints. They are fast and friendly! I highly recommend Magic China over any other place in Longview!!

Your basic full Chinese place to eat. We ordered lunch portions, which come with a main dish, rice, egg roll, and soup. All the lunch menu was under ten dollars. Good sizes portions. If you want spicy, then ask for it. Don't depend on the menu hot pepper. Without asking, it barely has hot spice; but when you ask... yes, sir, it can get as hot as you want. We will go again.
Nice meal for a fair price.... We will be back for sure ...
We like to order off of the Family Menu, which gets you soup, appetizers and main course with rice. Generally have leftovers from main course...lunch the next day! Staff is nice and attentive for refills and arrives with check and to-go boxes without having to ask.
The egg rolls are the best I've ever had. The fried rice is okay and the orange chicken is so fresh. I love getting take out during lunch.
I really want to give this place a good rating for the here of where it sits but it is hard for me. Hopefully I can later on. As for now I lhave only been here three times (counting tomight) and each time there is something that is not making the experience what it should be. So in light of this, this time I called ahead and asked quite a few questions, even telling the English speaking woman that I had no been there but twice before) before I ordered to understand their dishes before hand. I felt like my questions were answered and placed our order. I decided even though it is not on the menu to go ahead and order simple green beans with garlic sauce. The green beans were so overcooked they were mushy and there was no flavor of garlic at al. Like, at all. I ended up putting my homemade garlic salt on them to help it along. And sadly we have traffic here so they had turned into corn starch jello by the time I got them home. With that being said, mind you the lady on the phone did not tell me how much these would cost nor did she tell me how long before I should pick up my order. She was gone once she took my name. So I got dressed, went to the Asian market on the way; got 2 staples and then drove to their establishment. We spent $50 here all in all for 2 small soups, lg fried rice, 2 dishes, egg roll appetzer and an order of green beans. The chicken Mei fun was good. Not my complaint. The mushrooms chicken soup was probably my favorite! The egg rolls were good, again not my complaint. My complaint is that when I called back to see why the green beans were quite different from what I felt she described on the phone and there is no flavor of garlic which I was very specific on, she was quick to jump that of course I had picked my meal up late and of course the green beans would be jello soup by then. Again, she never told me what time frame so I presumed 15 to 20 mins'ish like most places, even pizza. While I tried to make her understand that is not what I felt like she explained she ignored my efforts. So I moved on to ask what the price was of the green beans were, to which she could have been more polite and professional by stating that it was X amount of dollars but instead she reported I could look on my receipt that she stapled to my bag. Mind you at no point was I rude. At no point was I curt. Kindness is free and I give that everywhere I can every single day. My reply to her was live and learn! To which I hoped she would at least extend the offer to replace the green beans. At least for what I tried to clarify I wanted when I kept asking her questions instead of eating my food but clearly they do not do that here which is surprising to me. Again... live and learn. When someone calls in, maybe try asking clarifying questions to make sure the customer does understand, especially after they have told you several timrs they are not big on sauces at all, that what the establishment you work at will serve Texas level of sauce on said green beans. That simple truth would have altered my course of action. And also if a flavor is mild seeing as I am clearly expecting garlic. And regardless of whether or not you take a lot of call ins - an idea of how many minutes before it's ready is always helpful to someone who does not work there. Also for those of you who like me like veggies -. she told me the steam them then put them into a wok to cook them more and then they add the sauce. Well of course they would be mushy! So if you do not want mushy green beans maybe you avoid that all together. Seeing as they don't have any printed veggie dishes on the menu. She did tell me they had a veggie delight but I can imagine the level of sauce on that would take away from any potential delight you might have if you actually like veggies. Hope this helps anyone who is curious to enjoy their experience more!
Good food and good service. Right portions for the price. Server was nice and timely. Will return next time when I’m in the area.

Great service. Food is good but could be better. Great for the price. Soft Drink prices are not as high as other places.
Food was amazing and piping hot so it was still nice and hot by the time we got home! Service was quick and the employees were pleasant. Will definitely be eating here again. Oh and ordering online was super easy and convenient!
First off I will say I’ve tried most Chinese places in Longview and was searching until I found this place. This is my family’s go to spot now! Usually a sweet and sour kind of guy but have been opening my horizon and this place has some amazing other dishes as well! I am not a huge fan of the spring roll in the lunch combos, feels a-little oily and bland would be thrilled to see a crab wanton instead. Service has been super super hit and miss, sometimes it’s amazing other times I feel rushed. There’s one lady that works the drive thru and she’s so amazing each time I’ve went but last time I went the lady wasn’t very friendly. All and all 4/5 stars due to the service but this place will see plenty more of my money to come!

Food was alright, not the best and not the worst we have had. Hot and Sour soup was not great. General chicken was tasty yet the egg rolls were burnt to a crisp and still sent out. They weren't good at all.
Good place but not so tasty.
I used to love Magic China, but the last 2 times I’ve had the Sesame Chicken it has been grey looking, soft, and watery. Nothing like before when the sauce was sticky and the chicken was good and crunchy. Also a lot of inedible pieces of chicken. That is the only Chinese dish I like. The fried rice was dry and almost burned. But my husband and daughter said the Orange Chicken was yummy and perfect.
Love this restaurant through and through. Food is excellent. The only complaint is every time I ask for steamed rice they give me fried rice. Literally every single time. I went through the drive through this time and made sure she repeated steamed rice. I got all the way home and of course it was fried rice. Why? Why is it even an option on the menu at this point? Ps..I have the receipt that's says "steamed rice" It wasn't busy like rush hour lunch...we pulled right up through the drive through with no wait at all. If you don't serve STEAMED rice anymore just please say so!
I’ll start by saying the Crab Rangoon is the best I’ve ever had (even though they forget my dipping sauce), but I was disappointed with the Kung pao shrimp and the Szechuan shrimp on two separate occasions — both had zero spiciness and they tasted the exact same like it’s the same dish, and no flavor. Almost like a gravy like sauce so that was a huge disappointment.

Brown sauce on everything. Served warm. Lost the love to cook Hot fresh Chinese recipes, just bland Americanized recipe.

This place has done nothing but charge us extra for items from what we order. For one, I ordered the Special Lo Mein and they charged us $3 for no rice!!! WTH?!!! Lo Mein DOES NOT come with rice! $3 for noodles in lieu of rice for the other entree? The portions are smaller, done in 2 minutes from ordering. We are done with this place. Update from 2/4/25 We got around to eating what we ordered and it was the absolute worst! The meats/seafood was chewy and old tasting. The noodles were old. Even the chilli oil and hot mustard was gross. Did an experiment and put some out for the wildlife that I feed at night, they wouldn't touch it. $50 for trash food. 🤢
Today was my first visit and I must say, I won't be back. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. The battered chicken was deep fried and very greasy; I was expecting grilled teriyaki chicken, as is usually prepared, and not battered and fried. I'm sensitive to MSG and requested NO MSG to be added to my order. According to my ticket, NO MSG was stated on my bill, however, 2 hours after eating my tongue and lips are swelling and my tongue is painful. It was not a delightful dining experience and I will not be back.
Forgot my kids meal and never even offered an apology . We drove 25 minutes to get there .. should have checked my bag. Customer service is terrible Didn’t even get my order right that I did actually get .. broccoli was suppose to be on the side and had no sauce was dry with the beef and brocolli
The service was great and the food came out quick and hot but we did not love it at all. The choices were nothing like we expected it to be. We won't be back as it wasn't for us.
Customer service was nice but food was not up to standard. The food tasted like it had just been microwaved, very soggy and saturated.
This is some of the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. It tasted bland AND old like I was eating leftovers instead of freshly cooked food. Also, the lady who took our order was rude. Bad service and food. Don't eat here. You'd be better off going to China King buffet whether you dine in or fix your food to go. Trust me.
Food is terrible. Seasame chicken was watery like soup and raw. Vegetable chow mein only had broccoli in it, it was so over cooked it was mush and its just nasty tasting and oily. Fried rice has no vegetables at all in it, just rice and soy sauce. Seriously not edible, don't waste your money here.
Food amazing but if I'm ordering a lot of food giving y'all my money do not rush me and be rude over the speaker!! I couldn't even finish without being asked "Ok anything else" super rudely!! Y'all weren't even busy
Been going here for 9yrs. The last few yrs not so much. We have given them more than one chance in the last yr,but last night was it. I am NOT throwing away my hard earned $$ on TERRIBLE FOOD. Their quality has gone done over the last couple years for sure! But last night was an all time low. I understand anyone can have a bad day...but it's just the quality! For 42$plus a damn tip to bring me a glass of tea😵💫😳is a bit much for 2 people. They should tip me to come in there to eat the low quality food. That was it for us! I can cook way better food like that at home. Wish I had of gone to McDonald's! Food quality better and taste better . Service better too. We won't waste our $$no more.
