This was a great find. We could partake in anything on the menu even with our vegan dietary choices. Andreas was an excellent host and made us feel at home right away! High recommended.

Great place to stop in and visit. Andre the owner operator would be glad to show you what he has available in the way of drinks or eats. Hi myself prefer the brownies and banana bread. He does have much more to offer, stop by visit relax.

Andres was amazing! We bought gluten free sourdough loaf and made the best French toast I’ve had since being gluten free with it! We also bought gf donuts which were amazing. It made our stay here so special. He was great to chat with and clearly so passionate about his food. This is now a staple stop for us when we are in Loreto!

This place is so good! We're not vegetarian but, we wanted something healthy and fresh. It was the by far the best burger I've ever had! You also have to meet the owner. He has amazing positive energy with great recommendations for the local things to do.

I could not believe my luck when my husband found this spot.We are from Battle Creek Michigan. We’ve never been to Baja. Day 1 we stop at Waicura. Greeted with 2 dogs and a “ Welcome Home”. We’ve gone back 3 times and let him make us whatever he wants. All Vegan, all delicious ingredients. He makes so much from scratch. His personality is magnetic which adds to the experience. Good Job Andreas. Visiting you and your cooking skills, made our amazing trip even better.Hope to stop by again and give you a big Hi! Oh yea he makes chocolate. We loved Waicura from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the owner Andreas and his trusty companion Jupiter - the most chill dog in the world. We ate there twice in our two day visit to Loreto and left with bellies full of high value food! All homemade, delicious and super filling. If in the area, be sure to stop by and enjoy this cool cafe.

Waicura was a tribe in Loreto and this Vegan restaurant proudly embraces their inclusive and friendly culture. We have travelled many places in the world as foodies, and this restaurant (cafeteria/smoothly bar style) serves amazing and healthy vegan 🌱 food. Balanced, healthy Mexican food such as massive burgers (lentil or garbanzo), tacos, smoothies, salads, nachos, waffles, hot dogs, fruit and anything else you would desire even if not on the menu. Andres, the owner and chef extraordinaire welcomes you as you step through the door. He lives what he serves. Vegan food of this quality that you can’t get anywhere else in the Baja. Also you can purchase fresh bread including sour dough and gluten free. The locals order in advance. If you want waffles for dinner or burgers for breakfast, nothing is not possible. No problem! Across from the El Pescador shopping centre you will find Waicura. Hours 9-9 weekdays, 9-3 weekends. Even if you aren’t a vegan you won’t believe the quality and taste of this food. Also good for all dietary restrictions including gluten free & sugar free needs. Give it a try. Say hi to Andres for us, he is a supporter of all life.

Ok this is the hardest review for me to write. My wife and I are not vegan but we occasionally eat healthy and work out in an attempt to purge our bodies of our evil eating habits. Our first meal with Chef Andres was a vegan pizza. My wife and I would not rate it high but we wanted to come back because Chef Andres is one spectacular ball of positive energy! ( Im also half Italian and grew up in NY so I'm picky about pizza) We did have a smoothie on that visit that was good and great when you realize all the healthy ingredients in it. Our second visit was breakfast waffles with fruit. We both enjoyed them! We would see Andres around the beach in the morning with his dogs and he approached us like long time friends. Last meal I told Chef Andres it was up to him to make me never have a beef hamburger again. He showed us the art of making his vegan burger. It was really good and had so many ingredients. I forgot to say I do not like mustard which ended up on the burger but it didn't matter because it tasted so good. Visit his place, drink a healthy smoothie and stand close to him so you can absorb his positive energy :)

The best vegan food in Baja. We came here as it is now a totally vegan restaurant. We had quesadillas con chorizo and they were delicious! The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and it has a really relaxed atmosphere. We had to come back again for the waffles. We are already planning on coming back to Loreto for more waffles.

Went in for a smoothie. Andreas is positive and very friendly. My smoothie was very good, however he charged me 180mx = $10. Good but not that good. Menu says 80mx. Hoping it was a a mistake. Might go back, but the over charge left me hesitant to return.

Not a very nice place. Good WiFi, but the food was not nice, nor the drinks. Also the place did not look great and was quite dirty. I like to go to vegetarian places, because they often offer food with more vegetables, not really the case here. The staff was very kind though. If they would improve on their menu it could be nice, since there are not many vegan options in town

Lets give this place a very Honest Review. I'm not vegan, so I cant say if this is the best (ive been to a few vegan places) so i have a reference of what it should taste like. My review is more concerned with my experience and observation of dining there. Flies EVERYWHERE. While you eat they will land on your food, flies sitting on their trays of desserts and cooked items. Its a enclosed space, (and it was uncomfortably hot) why is there such a fly problem? The part owner/preparer dosent have basic ingredients onhand and keeps running out to the supermarket across the street to buy avocadoes and vegetables to fill customer orders. What? And. when I commented the avocadoes are not ripe his retort was that in baja this is the way it is because its so hard to get fresh veggies. Really? No this is not accurate. I had tried 3 of their dishes. 2 of them were tacos third was a veggie burger. When i ask what is the main ingredient if not soy his response was "its a secret" While standing outside, his brother walks in, one guest asks him where to buy ice cream, he suggests to try his ice cream, the guest explains they want milk based. Guess what the owner says. "You see this scab on my arm, do you know what comes out of this scab, it is milk, yes its milk" (While pointing to his arm with scab marks). What/who kind of person who runs a dining establishment speaks like this? This is what I observed. 2 brother work together, One brother prepares food, the other goes around town promoting the restaurant to tourists via word of mouth. I observed this happen twice in my presence. When they time to pay the check came, he didnt have change for $200 pesos and again had to run out and make change. Then he joked about what a inexpensive meal I got. I felt my $$ was worth more to them than me having a good experience. At least 3 times they asked me to leave a note on their business wall in a different language and asked me to leave them positive reviews online. Im leaving an honest review.

Beware. Andres is dishonest, charged us double the amount of the menu. We got to see the menu prices after we paid. The food was good though but will not go back.

I looked on an old menu online and I didn't see BEANS such as pinto or chickpea. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
