Avis sur Nick's Deli II Los Alamitos
Good service, good food 🥘 Had the breakfast plate very good portion size. Real Italian sausage; not pre-cooked re-heated phony stuff like many places serve.
This is the local go-to spot for a good breakfast burrito. Great food and great people.
Nick's Deli in Los Alamitos is a true gem! Delicious and reasonably priced food. Very pleasant and friendly staff.
Food was amazing, I ordered a Club sandwich recommended to me by the owner and it was fantastic. The bacon had the crispiest bacon I’ve ever had in a sandwich and the owner personally showed us the entire restaurant and gave us fries on the house. The outside patio is beautiful giving us a peaceful outside atmosphere. Genuinely couldn’t have expected a better experience and asked for anything else. Came here based off of other great feedback I’ve heard from numerous people and it still surprised with its perfect quality and amazing service. COME HERE THANK YOU NICK - Aiden and Lana
Super cute deli. I always get the albacore melt but my fiancé get dif items and enjoys them all. Super fast and friendly service. They can get busy but it moves quick.
We used to work next to the Nick's Deli II and it was great having them at walking distance over several years. From breakfast to lunch we enjoyed eating here. All the boys that work making the food are great cooks. The breakfast burritos, sandwiches and meal plates are all delicious. The coffee is tasty too. Everyone is always in a great mood especially when you enter they all greet you. We really love coming here and you will too. See you there.
This is a small deli style place where I was immediately greeted when I walked in and my order was taken. I can’t believe how fast these folks are and how busy they are too. They had a huge catering order right before and after me plus a couple dozen folks just walk in-my food was still ready in under 10 minutes. I came tow mornings in a row and got a breakfast burrito and then a machacha burrito-they are both fantastic and absolute must have items! Their menu is so much more with tons of plates, subs, sandwiches (both hot and cold). I can’t believe they make breakfast burritos for $10 cuz it seems like everyone has raised prices so much, but that makes this place even more amazing. Every person was friendly and I’m not exaggerating when I saw that the cooks, the cashier and the welcome greeter guy I saw all give different people hugs, or high fives or personalized greetings and even teasing some of the well known customers. Makes me wish I lived around here and not in another state so I could be a part of the family atmosphere they have created.
Went for the breakfast burrito after hearing about it from a friend. I’m normally not one to go eat alone but from the moment I walked in I felt a very positive atmosphere. After ordering at the door you can choose your seat. I went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty empty so I was able to sit in their patio area. After you’re done eating you tell them your number and you pay. The burrito was great so I’ll definitely be back to try more things off their menu.
Yummy and filling burrito for a low price! When you walk in, they will take your order on a notepad, they give you a receipt and you sit and they bring your order. After your meal, pay at the register. We sat on the back patio which was so relaxing and peaceful. I enjoyed the burrito which was bursting with flavor and filling. My partner enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend for a tasty, quick and affordable meal!
The burritos here are a force to be reckoned with and here's a little insider tip: if you're a regular like me, you'll probably run into someone you know most of the time. It's like a social gathering disguised as a deli! We call in our order for the Americano almost every weekend, and let me tell you, they recognize my name now. That's some next-level customer service right there. It's like having your own personal deli buddies. Get the Breakfast Burritos. Not just for breakfast. Also, you'll probably run into someone you know most of the time. It's definitely better than McDonald's, Just make sure to bring your appetite great breakfast burritos.
This place was hopping this morning! So glad we called our order in because it was a 30 minute wait! The cooks were sooooo busy but their breakfast burritos are so delicious! Breakfast burrito extra spicy grilled is the only way to go…. Well, maybe add avocado. Some days I do, other days I don’t feel it! The salsa is super delicious!
My first time here. Went with a buddy for lunch on a Saturday. It was crowded, which I took as a good sign. Bad restaurants are never crowded. We were greeted at the door by a man with an order pad, who took our order, told us to have a seat and our order would be brought to us and we could pay after we ate.. The restaurant has lots of indoor seating and some outside seating, which is where we sat. We served ourselves at the soda fountain, where water is also available. It only took a few minutes to get our orders. We each has a pastrami sandwich and an order of fries. The pastrami was just about the best I've ever had in SoCal. Very lean. Cooked properly. Seasoned correctly and served while still warm off the grill. The fries were also awesome. They were seasoned and quite tasty. All in all, this is a great place to eat. I liked the New York deli 'feel' and atmosphere, loved the food, and would not hesitate to dine here again.
Nick's is the best deli! This one is his second location...he started in Seal Beach...but there is love at both locations. Don't be afraid of the line, they know what they are doing and I promise it is worth the wait! All of Nick's food is yummy and plentiful but you go for the Breakfast Burritos!!! Today Nick was here and as always he was chatting with and helping customers, taking phone orders, and keeping the place clean. Nick is a local treasure and his Deli's food are priceless gems! 😋
I was looking for a good breakfast burrito and saw lots of good reviews for Nick's II. The pictures also factored into my decision to give them a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted. Since this was my first time, a nice gentleman gave me a couple of suggestions. I went with the classic breakfast burrito. I couldn't wait to try it. The burrito was nicely filled with a good mix of chorizo, bacon, eggs, potato & cheese. I experienced all the flavors in each bite and it was really good. The size wasn't massive but definitely big enough to take care of your hunger. It also came with a nice side of salsa (more than just a sample size) and also a spoon which came in handy to get salsa in all the right places! They also have other items from breakfast & lunch on the menu as well as a great selection of chips, fountain drinks & coffee, and a variety of bottled drinks. I would highly recommend Nick's II for breakfast burritos. I also plan to return to try other breakfast burritos and other things on the menu.
It's best to call ahead to order on busy days. Came in on a Saturday at 11AM and ended up waiting a little more than half an hour for a breakfast burrito to go. It's a pretty solid breakfast burritos but not sure if it's worth it for $10; arguably something you can make at home. If you're eating there, there's a TON of seating in the back and outside.
Came here as part of an endless quest for the best breakfast burrito. Their offering was solid. Definitely get the free salsa cup to add on to the burrito as you enjoy it. We ate in the open patio/breezeway in the rear which I recommend over any of the inside tables. This is a typical stripmall setup, but with more seating than expected. No frills.
The sandwiches and burrito here are amazing! It doesn't look like a fancy place but the food is really good. The entrance and its dining area is quite small but they have huge dining area at the other end. I found the breakfast burrito and the veggie sandwich to be the best so far (I'm still exploring other items). Update: I liked the Sky high pastrami sandwich and the California club sandwich too.
I used to come here as a kid, but unfortunately they have to start hiring new people, and the new people just don't care. I walked in with only one person waiting for food. Placed my order for ONE burrito, with the short guy with the glasses. I watched the guy ahead of me get his food and leave, awesome, I should be next. Then 2 phone in orders walk in and go out. Then another guy places an order for a burrito behind me. Surprise surprise, the guy behind me gets his burrito and leaves. I wait another 5 minutes then see them all huddle by the tickets and I hear them say "Italiano....." They hadn't started my order, fed someone who ordered behind me with basically an identical order, and didn't tell me when they forgot to make my food...... Young employees suck..... Apparently they care more about standing around and talking to the regulars than actually making sure everyone gets fed ..... It's sad because they had good food, and now their service went instantly out the door all because of some young employees..... If you all don't care about the customer, then the customer won't care about you. There is a really good tavo truck on wardlow and palo verde if anyone else needs a replacement of people who actually care about the service
