The coffee & pastries are incredible here! It’s the perfect spot to work or study! There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside. I love how the menu also had unique drink options to choose from. Overall, definitely one of the best coffee shops in K-Town!

3THYME in Koreatown is one of those spots that effortlessly has great food, thoughtful drinks, welcoming space, and genuinely warm service. I ordered the Turkey and Brie sandwich, and it was deliciously layered. The combination of turkey breast, creamy Brie cheese, fresh spinach, and red onion was perfectly balanced, but the smoked paprika aioli really tied everything together. It added a subtle smokiness and depth that elevated the sandwich beyond your standard café fare. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy. The perfect sandwich. I also ordered their signature iced Injeolmi Latte, and it was easily a standout. Inspired by the classic Korean rice cake, this drink blends roasted soybean powder with espresso, milk, and a smooth cream top. It’s nutty, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting, while still feeling unique and well crafted. Definitely a must try. The space itself is spacious and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for working, catching up with friends, or just relaxing solo. The staff was attentive and friendly. With offerings that span coffee, tea, food, and even wine, there’s truly something for everyone here. Highly recommend stopping by 3THYME if you’re in Koreatown especially since they’re open late until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. A great spot that’s well worth the visit.

Wonderful Café spot with delicious coffee, Matcha tea and the baked goods. They also sell alcohol here. I think the service is wonderful. The workers are very kind and friendly and the drinks come out very quickly. I love the vibe of this place to interior and exterior is beautifully designed with pretty photos framed on the walls. I highly recommend their banana cream latte. It’s their specialty and it’s absolutely delicious. They open pretty late so you can study here till late in the night on the weekends or the weekdays pretty cool spot to work from home or study with a little coffee or Matcha. Highly recommend this place. It’s very cute and vibey.

Love coming here to work! All the drinks I’ve tried are great, the espresso tonic is a favorite but the matchas are good too. Make sure to get a punch card! Staff are really friendly and the owner is often around it’s reflected in the care

This is a beautiful coffee spot. Ice coffee was great we had the Misu Latte and Injeolmi Latte. Would really come back but to enjoy another ice drink because it is worth it 😉😁

I visited this place last month, and for my first time there, it was good. The people who served me were friendly, and I found the menu interesting. I ordered a Strawberry Cream Latte along with a waffle. The drink had an interesting flavor; it wasn't overpowering, but rather smooth. The waffle was sweet but pleasant, not overly sweet. The atmosphere of the place was clean. I would return and recommend the place; it left a good impression on me. I am grateful to the staff at this place, as they made my first visit a pleasant experience.

After dinner next door, ordered Misu latte here- only cold option. That special latte was great, tastes smoothly( but a bit sweet for me). Nice decor and vibe here. Owner told us that they just had a bar option night time there now. Also luckily there with a pop-up eatateball. Great time! Will come back try other coffee.

If you’re a coffee + pastry lover, you NEED to check out 3THYME Coffee in Koreatown! Their drinks are smooth and flavorful, and their pastries? Next-level delicious! But the real star? Their NEW Cream Croffle! 😍 This crispy, flaky croissant-waffle hybrid is topped with creamy goodness, making it the perfect match for their bold coffee. If it’s not on the menu yet, be sure to ask about it—and if you do, tell them you saw it on my Instagram! 😉 💡 Pro Tip: Show them my review/reel (@rachelhbae) when you order and see what they say! ⭐ Rating: 9/10 🥐 Must-Try: Banana Cream Latte + the NEW Croffle 🚗 Easy Parking: Valet in the back ($2-$5)

I would say this cafe is quite a hidden gem! 💎 Great vibes and aesthetic interior design with both indoor and outdoor seatings. I got their misu latte today, which has some Korean mixed grains in there, absolutely love it and worth the price (it was $7 something with tax). With easily accessible outlets and friendly staff — definitely would visit again!

Cool cafe in K-town with a delicious selection of food/drinks + a decent number of people studying/working! Baristas are friendly and fast, and there's plenty of seating (indoor + outdoor). Loved the blood orange refresher I got! Happy I got to stop by while I was in the area.

Cafe with homey / cozy vibes and unique flavors. I ordered the injeolmi latte as I had never seen this flavor before. The cashier was knowledge and was able to tell me about this flavor. He warned me it was going to be grainy which thank goodness he did if I wasn't expecting the texture not sure I would have liked it. The latte itself was good, unlike anything I've bad before. It tasted like drinking a whole wheat cracker. Will 100% not be to everyone's taste. I'm excited to try more flavors from here. Ambiance is amazing and staff are knowledgeable and helpful

I found 3Thyme on my way to L.A. from out of town and was looking for a place to get a much needed study session done for one of my courses. It did not disappoint, with ample space outdoors and thoughtful spacing indoors, this place exceeded my expectations. I was expecting the hustle and bustle of L.A. to be too noisy and hectic for me to get work done but in this part of LA, specifically Koreatown it didn't feel that way at all. They have a nice outdoor patio and the coffee shop is raised off ground level about 6 feet to allow for a more private experience than most other coffee shops. I got the matcha latte which is pictured and it was very well crafted and tasted great. If you are looking for a respectable, well maintained, and pleasant experience give this place a try. I'll definitely be coming back.

3THYME Coffee on the first floor welcomed us with amazing service after our terrible experience at Feel Karaoke. We purchased a champagne bottle there, and they kindly allowed us to sing Happy Birthday and enjoy our handmade cake 🎂. The attendant was absolutely wonderful (I regret not remembering her name).

The banana matcha drink was good, tastes really good only thing id say is a miss is that they did not ask for my ice level and I got my drink half full of ice. But the drink itself was very good. Atmosphere is fine, not very large to study in, service was also fine. Would recommend for drinks

The people here are so nice and friendly! definitely an under rated spot for studying in k-town, with wifi and outlets and good music that is not too loud. I try to go someplace new to study and get a fun drink as much as possible, I got the misu latte which was unique and tasty so this place was perfect :) and the nice staff made this trip even better. Highly recommend!

Good service, tasty food, and nice ambiance! I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and a rose cream latte 🌹☕️🌯🙌 I enjoyed them thoroughly!! The latte was tasty and wasn't overly sweet! You could taste the rose but it wasn't overpowering either. It was really photogenic too. I loved it 😤 The chorizo breakfast burrito was pretty big and super fresh. Whatever that red sauce was it was 🔥 They also have a decent amount of seating and an outdoor patio! 🪴🪴🪴 I like that they have different types of seating: benches, a cozy area with pillows outside, bar stools, and also cool comfy chairs inside I could totally see myself reading a book in! 📖😌 And of course free wifi 🛜👨🏻‍💻✅ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The OFD Approves! Side note, they have 2hr paid parking right next to the coffee shop, I think it's like ~$3 to park for 2 hours. If you're willing to walk a little I think there are some free spots nearby too.

I have been living in this neighborhood for 10 years and passed by this street 10 million times but never realized that there is a coffee shop located here. This quaint little shop is just isolated and hidden enough to be easily missed but don't judge the book by its cover. The coffee shop is big and had very simple menu. There are also specialty coffee available with different flavors.

During my three visits at 3Thyme, their drinks have been consistently on point. First I had their signature Misu, an Iced Latte with Korean grain, and found the grainy texture an interesting twist to the normal silky latte. Then I had a simple cortado and a Spanish latte, both times the coffee was tasty as well. The herbs in their name seem to refer to CBD drinks but I never tried it. 3Thyme has a neat outdoor patio that is half a story above street and fenced off from the sidewalk. It has an open yet secluded vibe and is my favorite spot to sit, although it can get pretty hot in LA's sunny afternoon. The indoor space looks cooler, both because of its grey and industrial look, and the strong AC. Overall though, there is something cold about the place. The store entrance is inside a building with two doors to get through. It doesn't feel as welcoming as one that opens to the street. I also wish the service can be a little warmer. The staff is polite but sometimes it feels a bit transactional.

Really good coffee, mid matcha. not a good quality matcha, but wonderfully deep and rich coffee. Coffee is approved by my 50 yr old mom and dad and my 22 yr old self! very comfy couches, and plenty of seating. Few outlets though..

It was supposed to be one of my favorite coffee go-to in LA but not anymore. When I order an iced latte and a hot latte, I said light ice for the iced latte, the man nodded, repeat saying light ice, and got my instruction. And after I got the drink, the iced latte was FULL of ice, it isn't LIGHT ice at all!!! I talk to them and they said if I wanna take some ice out from the drink. I agree and they really took out a few cubes of ice from the cup, and the picture is the final product of my iced latte from this cafe, even LESS than 80% of the cup. The man told me, "our drinks are measured based on a 100% ice scale (not light ice), sorry about that". That's why my iced latte is filled with LESS than 80% of the cup. LOL. But is it something that I should have been told before I make my purchase? Also, the iced latte and hot latte taste very BITTER, which taste like the espresso is over-extracted and the milk was not mixing well with the coffee. My stomach wasn't feeling well after I got home because of the over-extracted espresso. This place used to be my favorite go-to as I believe small business is worth supporting, but not anymore after today. I ordered an iced latte with light ice a few times before, it was 100% FULL, with almost perfect ratio and flavor while measuring based on a light ice scale. But today's visit really disappoints me. I even recommended this shop to some of my coffee-addict friends. I thought this coffee shop would have the potential to be one of the best third-wave coffee shops in LA, with consistency and good customer service, but looks like they are no better than Starbucks in terms of service and product consistency.

I feel bad but, the matcha was really really not good, it was more like milk with some matcha in it and when asked for it to be remade/ more matcha added it was a $2 charge. The waffle was also really stale and it could make sense since it was later in the day/night but when the concern was brought up they were very unapologetic. It felt like I was robbed here lowkey 😭

The hot matcha was really bad. It tasted lukewarm and off, like they didn’t foam the milk properly. And the iced sweet matcha latte tasted like it was made with cheap syrup
