I don't know about you but, I like a sandwich that has a lot of filling. I don't like the sandwich that is just all bread with very little filling. All About The Bread is my ultimate to go sandwich store for it has a lot of filling. The picture that you see is the small one a 6in and for a dollar more you can get 11 in. The bread is tasty and crunchy. I was amazed when I got the sandwich it felt larger than 6 in. I made a build-your-own sandwich. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely be coming back again.
This spot seriously lives up to its name. The bread is next-level-fresh, perfectly textured, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference immediately. Everything feels clean, simple, and well thought-out instead of over-processed or greasy. My go-to order is Al’s Signature Turkey with spicy peppers and avocado added. That combo hits every note ; savory, creamy, a little heat, and the bread holds it all together without falling apart. Honestly, it’s hard not to order the large because it’s that good. If you care about ingredients and want a sandwich that feels both indulgent and quality-driven, this place is a must.
Fluffy and crunchy bread, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. Fresh baked bread daily. Can’t ask for more than that! Their new upgraded store is beautiful, modern and very clean. Always enjoy eating here.
Absolute fire sandwiches 🔥🔥 I always choose to dine in here. The staff is always really nice and I always leave satisfied! My go to orders are either the pastrami or the honey lime chicken. You couldn’t go wrong with either!
One of the best sandwiches in LA. The bread is so fresh and made every 30 minutes. I loved their Godfather sandwich! Can’t wait to go back and try everything else! They were also so fast with my order!

Italian-style sandwiches with super-fresh bread that makes the difference. The Godfather is stacked but still balanced. Staff is friendly and quick even when it’s slammed. Not much seating, so take it to go. Metered parking out front is fine for a short stop
I can't understand the bad comments about this place, mainly focused about refusing access to the toilets to non clients. That's a thing we haven't witnessed and honestly, we had a really good experience at All About The Bread! We came here with our family for lunch and were completely blown away. The service was fast and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server gave us good recommendations that were spot on. The sandwiches are truly something special — very generous portions, and packed with fresh ingredients. We tried the 'Godfather', the 'Turkey Club', and the 'Honey Lime', and each one was delicious. A special thank you to Raphael, the owner, who came to our table. He was so kind and attentive, making our visit truly personal and special. We are taking a wonderful memory of him and his restaurant back to France with us. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Los Angeles! Highly recommended to anyone looking for some excellent sandwiches in town.
I deeply love every single thing about this restaurant. From the staff, to the food, to the ambiance. Every single worker here is so kind, I have been coming for years and never a bad experience. They go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. And it's vegan friendly!! I cannot sing enough praises for this establishment. Truly love love love them!! And so proud that they have only expanded!!
The owner is so kind and offered us a gift! Sandwiches are super fresh (and big). Try Honey lime sandwich or the top 1: Godfather sandwich. Homemade cookies 🍪 that are also really good! Caesar salad is delicious!! Place is clean

What can I say? This has been one of my favorite sandwich spots if not, my favorite for the past 16 years. always feel Right at home. Rafa The manager is always pleasant and greets everyone with a big smile. People like him is what makes your local sandwich deli a hit. Ingredients are always top-tier. Pastrami and Godfather are my favorite. Call ahead if you want a big order!
Been a longtime customer! They're orders are ALWAYS on point and the sandwiches are so good.. Love the meatball sub with extra provalone and the Godfather.. Rafael is such nice dude and i'm happy to support this small local shop. Love the new upgraded spot. When my friends are in town we always have to make a stop. Review is a long time coming. Thank you!!
My sandwich was yummy and hit the spot. Loved the bread too so the name fits perfectly. Parking sucks as I had to drive around for a while just to get close to the restaurant to walk in. Definitely a draw back, but loved my sandwich and would go again.
Easy parking in the front or street parking off Detroit. The staff was decently friendly and didn’t have issues like others mentioned. The Godfather + Hot Pastrami + Turkey Club are always fire 🔥
A chill, no frills sandwich shop with many vegetarian and vegan options! Ample seating inside and a few tables outside to have a seat and enjoy your sandwich. Great selection of sandwiches, with build your own options as well. Quite a few side options and a nicely stocked drink case. Ordering was easy and staff was friendly. I got The Signature Turkey sandwich. Bread was fresh, soft on the inside with a nice flake on the outside. The offerings are generous and could have easily been split with another person. Potato salad on the side was good, too. I’ve seen others here mention the parking lot… The parking lot is very small and while we were unable to nab a spot we were able to grab street parking a block over. I feel the parking lot looked best served for grab and go orders.
Sandwich was pretty. Missing a vinegar component. The veggie sandwich includes the works but mine was missing peppers (usually included in the works) so had to get them on the side. Also had to add salt and mayo when I got home. All the ingredients slid out with each bite :( I think the bread was too firm. Overall, delicious looking but bland in flavor. Wish the pickles were more prominent, or peppers weren’t .75 cents extra.

I had the Godfather it's the first sandwich listed, and it was delicious! My homie Hull,J, took me here. I drove from Palm Springs to his pad in Downey, and he kept talking about it. It's all about the bread! every 20 minutes fresh bread. So we made the trek he got the turkey and wished he had gotten the Godfather! Good times, great food, bread, and location. Thanks guys 🥖🤘
Fresh bread, tasty selections, decent prices ($12-$15/sandwich) & limited seating. Next time will call ahead (took about 15min for our order, but was a busy lunch crowd)!
We got "the grandmother" to share. It was not bad; the bread had a nice crunch on the outside, but it was a bit tough. While it was worth trying, I don’t think I would go back. There are definitely better options out there.

Sorry:( Bread on the sandwich was really good but I didn’t taste honey nor lime on the honey lime chicken sandwich. It was also $19 for one large sandwich. NJ/NY naturally has cheaper sandwiches than Los Angeles so not much of a shock there but still, just one sandwich shouldn’t be $20 My husband goes there and he’s gotten better stuff there.

not good at all. just tryin to look good. bread texture is off. it rubbery and not fluffy and crunch is tough. im not shark you know toppings all regular boarhead and olive oil and dressing are not intense and i also ordered not skopoped and no mayo and yes oregano, but is seems like you dont care. you are not better than jimmy jongz: you just have blisters on your bread. its not even bread: its just tough breadskin. ew! give me back my 17.95$

Service was slow and unfriendly, like you’re bothering them just by ordering. The place looks cute from the outside, but that’s clearly where all the effort went. Save your time and money. There are way better spots nearby that actually care about food and customers.
This would be one of the most disrespectful environments I’ve ever walked into. I walked in and ordered food as one would want to sanitize their hands I asked to use the restroom I was denied and it became a huge altercation simply for wanting to wash my hands. If you don’t want to feel disrespected today especially by the manager please don’t come to this establishment.
„ALL ABOUT THE DISRESPECT“ I wanted to buy something to drink and use the restroom, but the staff told me it’s only for people who EAT there because it’s “too expensive, because of water and toilet paper costs“ ?!! So basically, flushing the toilet and washing your hands costs as much as their $18 sandwich 😅😅 I had never been there before and actually thought about trying their sandwiches in the future ,but after this experience, never again Sometimes even in fancy restaurants, they let you use the restroom without being a customer!! The owner’s attitude and tone were also quite disrespectful definitely not the kind of place that values customers. That probably explains their 4.0 rating on Google I guess the food is just as disappointing as the staff.
The rudest staff you will ever see in your life are here. The food is tasteless, and the employees clearly lack basic people skills. They are so rude that they treat customers as if they see themselves as superior. It’s impossible to understand this behavior, but I will never ever visit this place again. If anyone is reading this, I strongly recommend that you stay away from here.
