Avis sur Anarkali Los Angeles
This is the best Indian food I've ever tried! Tried the Chicken tikka masala with sweet man and the Lentils soup. It was splendid. Mohamed was super kind and fast offering us some complementary entrees.
I had the most wonderful meal here at Anarkali with my dear friend. Service and the staff were absolutely amazing. They checked in with us throughout the meal and even sent us home with some extra rice for leftovers. I highly recommend this spot for dates or bigger group dinners.
The food here is excellent and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are having a great experience! I’ve dined in with a group and all of us agreed that we would definitely come back. I actually ended up getting take out a couple days later because it was that good! They also usually end up offering us some samosas on the house which I thought was really kind of them. Definitely check this place out!!
The customer service at this restaurant is something out of the world. Server,Manager and everyone treats you like royalty. Food is deeply flavoured and well cooked. Portions are humongous, if they say it servs 1 means it easily serves 2 without a doubt. I hope there were more restaurants with this level of customer service. The restaurant is well designed and you can see there is a lot of money invested.
My son told me he knew a good Indian restaurant-I was so surprised when he took us to Anarkali! My favorite Indian restaurant-I had not been for a while but have shared many special meals there over the last 25 years. Muhammad answered our questions about the menu and service was great. Food came out in a timely way, chicken tikka masala, eggplant, chicken tandoori and lamb paneer were delicious and enjoyed by all. Yummy cheese and garlic naan! Dad wanted a little more spinach and heat in the lamb, is the only note! (also, in case it’s important, no beer or wine on menu)
Best Indian food I’ve had in LA. Service was incredible and we were given extra hospitality due to our attendance to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The waiters are extremely kind, the naan was softer and more delicious than any other in LA, and their appetizers were worth returning for. I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody in the city.
The restaurant is super beautiful and cozy. Service was quick and friendly. Mohammed was our host and he is very caring and friendly . The food is very delicious and the price is very fair. There is also parking at the back of the restaurant. I definitely recommend. I can’t wait to be back with my friends.
I love this restaurant so much. The people running it are so kind and remember me each time I return, and I salivate just thinking about the masala dishes and the garlic cheese naan. While takeout is great in a pinch, it’s a beautiful interior as well and definitely worth the sit-down experience. Truly my favorite Indian restaurant in the whole city!
Such a great spot, with abundant flavorful food, beautiful decor, great staff for an affordable price. They have great meal combos to share. Was sad to see their branch in the Valley close, but glad these guys are still here. We had a great birthday feast here and I’d recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal near the Grove/Fairfax/Melrose!
I had an impromptu birthday here and the owner and staff were so amazing and sweet! We ordered several vegetarian dishes, and they were delicious!! I loved the tamarind and mint sauces (much more than most other places)and the papadam crisps. I enjoyed the lighting and atmosphere. I will definitely return!
I grab lunch here pretty often and the service is always so consistent. Very friendly and kind. The food is amazing! It’s truly amazing to see an establishment here and in business for 47 years. Come through, you will not be disappointed. I loved the chicken korma and garlic naan.
The food here is so tasty. One of the yummiest Indian restaurants in all LA. We ordered 4 dishes and they did not disappoint. The owner is very nice, and accommodated our needs. It’s very clean and the restaurant is really lovely. I’d recommend the chicken korma. My friend really loved the chai tea. I love the mango ice cream and rice pudding.
Absolutely wonderful experience here! The lamb korma was a standout dish for us, but everything was cooked perfectly and the staff is welcoming and so sweet! Prices are a great value. I love that they have so many booths available, it’s really cozy inside. Parking is easy and it’s walking distance to some other great stores. We’ll be coming here a lot more in the future!
This place is just the best. My coworkers, bosses, and I order from here all the time. Not only is it always delicious, but the restaurant employees are always kind and remember our orders sometimes even though they’re so busy. The atmosphere is great, I would love to come here and sit down to eat sometime because the decor and layout of the restaurant is so beautiful. My favorites so far are the chicken tikka masala, the saag paneer, and the chicken tandoori. The naan is also incredible.
This is the best Indian food in Los Angeles that I have come across. When ordering for delivery they are fast and everything comes hot, fresh, and delicious. Portion sizes are excellent.. the tiki masala is creamy, naan is incredible, and the veggie samosas are to die for! You cannot go wrong with any food on their menu. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and has never disappointed!
The food here is fantastic! Lots of flavor and super fresh and delicious 😁 They also have a great lunch and dinner deal with generous portions if you want to try a bit of everything. We often order take out from here but dining in is also reallly good if you want piping hot fresh dishes. Highly recommend 🫡🫡 They also have parking in the back!
We got the Chicken Tikka Masala & Saag Paneer with some naan to share. Everything was amazing! Between two people, there’s still enough food to take home. The owner was so kind and gracious, he gave us sambosas on the house and even offered dessert, but we had to rush elsewhere. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!
THE MOST UNDERRATED RESTAURANT in Melrose area! The service was amazing, the owner is a sweet man passionate about customer service! The quality of the food is outstanding, rich in flavor, generous portions and amazing quality! I genuinely cannot express how much people are sleeping on this place (gen z speak for missing out)! Please please please send this place to friends and family members and fill up the restaurant! Trust me if you are looking for authentic quality food and amazing service come here!
Went here for an early dinner with friends and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming! Everything was shareable so highly recommend starting out with one of each dish you get if you’re with a group. The Sag paneer and chicken tandoori were delicious! They even gave us some desserts on the house <3
My entire life I have lived in Los Angeles, and it is safe to say I have never left this restaurant disappointed. This is one of my favorite spots in LA, so much so that I had a birthday dinner here a couple years back. Every few weeks my family and I either stay in and order takeout or we come by and eat as a group. The food is great, my favorite has to be the Garlic Naan with the Butter Chicken & Rice. The Coconut Lamb is also very delicious.
We went for a late lunch around 2:30 PM with the family. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, but when we ordered, the staff mentioned they were busy handling online orders — which actually made us think they must be good. And we weren’t wrong! We ordered Chicken Tikka Tandoor, Saag Paneer, Chicken Kurma, Malai Kofta, Naan, Roti, Mango Lassi, and Chai. Except for the Mango Lassi and Chai, which were just okay, everything else was absolutely delicious — flavorful, rich, and prepared in a true dhaba-style manner. Each dish had its own distinctive taste and the right amount of spice — we ordered some medium and some hot, and both were perfectly balanced. The ambiance is simple and decent, nothing fancy, but the food definitely stands out. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Indian food, this is a great place to visit.
