Love this place for a quick breakfast sandwich after a long flight! Thank you Ms. Iran for the great quick service!
Josh was super friendly and helpful, and re-did my coffee drink when I didn’t like it! Wonderful experience with him, and Ashland Hill! Thank you, Josh!
Great experience. Friendly cashiers, and sandwiches are actually filling. Way better than your typical airport sandwich. Iced coffee was good too.

So kind. Gave me some extra ice because I was having a hot flash. It’s a small thing but it totally reset the comfort level for the start of the trip. The cashier was absolutely wonderful.
I had such a great experience at Ashland Hill LAX, and a huge part of that was thanks to Natalie. From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and just genuinely kind. You can tell she really cares about making sure her guests have a great time. She was super knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, It’s rare to find someone who blends professionalism with such a warm, friendly vibe, but Natalie nails it. Customer service like hers is what makes you want to come back. Thank you, Natalie, for making our visit such a great one!
✈️ Ashland Hill at LAX: A Bright Spot on a Rough Day I was having one of those days—exhausted, overwhelmed, and starving. The kind of day where everything feels heavy, and all you want is something simple, comforting, and easy. I wasn’t in the mood for a big meal, just something light to get me through. That’s when I stumbled into Ashland Hill at LAX. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I’d glanced at a few mixed reviews and figured I’d grab a quick bite and keep moving. But my experience was wonderful—so much so that I had to write this. One of the employees, Natalie (I hope I got her name right!), completely turned my day around. She greeted me with genuine warmth and took the time to walk me through the menu, asking what I liked and didn’t like. Her attention to detail and kindness made me feel seen—something I really needed in that moment. She recommended the pesto chicken sandwich, and let me tell you—it was perfect. Flavorful, satisfying, but not too heavy. Just what I needed. Customer service like that makes all the difference. Natalie didn’t just serve food; she served comfort, care, and connection. Also her smile was everything ! Because of her and the overall vibe at Ashland Hill, this spot is officially on my go-to list whenever I’m traveling through LAX. :)

This is on the way to gate 75, a convenience food stall called Ashland Hill Santa Monica (Terminal 7). It was a BBQ Pork Sandwich that I took with me on a flight. A nice hand sandwich snuggly wrapped in paper and tucked into a matching sack. There were bite size shreds of saucy pork between two chewy rounds of browned bread. Pleasant! No sauce on my shirt!

Service was exceptional! Natalie was great to interact with on an early flight. Food was meh and pretty overpriced.

The prices look absurd at first but everything at Terminal 7 is super over-priced. All sandwiches here are $19-21, but they have a very wide selection. FAR more options that look better than Klatsch, and you only get a 10% discount going to Klatsch.

I had the chicken pesto sandwich. It was toasted in the oven. And it was tasty but I added some salt for my liking. But honestly after walking aimlessly in every single place here, where a simple sandwich in the kiosks are $17 minimum … $23 is a fair price for the amount of chicken and mozzarella in my sandwich. Obviously it’s airport prices.. there are also burgers the same price. But I like that you can see what you are getting here. I couldn’t see the food in the other places. So considering all that and the fact all airport food in America specifically is more expensive than other airport foods around the world.. I’d say it’s normally priced after seeing crappy sandwiches everywhere for the same price even. I wish it were half the price but it is what it is.

Gotta respect the game. No prices on sandwiches, $24.95 for a bacon, egg, cheese. The hit you with the damage at checkout. And it was top 3 worst breaks fast sandwich I’ve ever had. I don’t like writing reviews just to bash, but this was unreal. Won’t go back.
Should've checked the reviews before rush ordering out of hunger. $3.5 for a single egg bite, $21 for a half sandwich, Grumpy staff. Food quality itself is a solid 2.5/5, not terrible but that's it. Considering the price it's terrible. Would warn people away
This cafe charges $1.50 extra for non-dairy milks, a +30% on what they charge for black drip coffee, or coffee with half and half. On that note, definitely not enough coffee grounds used to make their drip coffee. Tasting note: dirty hot water. Intelligentsia Coffee - they’re not doing your brand any favors. Their breakfast sandwich is the same price as breakfast burritos sold at other cafes. You should buy those burritos instead of the sandwiches sold here This morning they had a front-of-house staff member who was new to English language or hard of hearing. He seemed to be a pleasant and capable individual put in a bad position with irate customers. Not planning to drop by this cafe again.
Awful. I ordered an iced coffee and a turkey bacon on a brioche. The coffee came quickly enough, but my sandwich never arrived. When I asked where it was... because my flight was boarding... the woman just handed me a random sandwich. Not what I had ordered. So.... choose another place you grab a bite if you're at LAX.
Customer Service is Key. If a customer orders an Americano coffee and it looks like a lightly roasted coffee bean coffee (blonde Coffee), I think it’s ok for the customer to ask the attendant/server if the right drink was served. I did exactly that and the server (who barely replied yes) rolled her eyes at me while walking away from me. Ashland Hill (LAX), I will never spend my hard earned money at one of your establishments again! 0 out of 10 - do not recommend!
Soggy no flavor chicken Cesar wrap for $20, with a bottle of water and bag of chips total came to $36.23 😅
I should have came to the comments first. Terminal 7 has the worst options for food ever. $19 chicken wrap had red rubbery chicken. No worries, they let me exchange for this soggy lunch meat and cheese. Lol how is this place allowed to serve food. 🤦🏽♂️

I got a sandwich here, the taste was not bad. but the service was terrible. I was going to hit "Custom Tip button" on the card scanner. but the guy tilted the machine toward me at the moment of hitting the button so I accidentally hit 20% Tip button. I explained that situation, but they didn't return the money back. Who pays 20% tips for that sandwich?? I have no idea they did it on purpose or just by chance I had this experience. Terrible service. Don't go there.
Expensive, rude and not good. Danish was soggy. She asked what kind of milk, I asked for skim or as close to that as possible. The response was whole milk and 3 other not milk options. Customers can typically take bad service or expensive food or even bad food, but they should not pay for all 3. I will throw $30 in the trash before I go here again.
Very frustrating experience. First the employee didn’t believe I was of legal age. I went down to security to tell them to help her read an ID she then still refused to serve me which was fine but then got a 23 dollar chicken pesto sandwich which was warmed but not even cooked chicken would not recommend

Absolutely insane $25 for a chicken pesto sandwich that is so small and hardly any chicken. If you’re going to rip people off at least spend an extra $1 or $2 and add some value. Shocking!!

Asked if the bagel can be toasted. The staff said yes. Instead it was microwaved. Coffee and a microwaved bagel for $18. Why does it matter? Toasting a bagel creates a steaming crispy treat. Consistent texture and perfect for a pleasing scrape of cream cheese. Microwaving a bagel triggers some sort of reaction in the bagel that makes it start out chewy, and as you eat it, it forms what I can only describe as “clots” which are hard as rock coagulations of previous bagel goodness into jawbreaking undifferentiated starch. So please if a customer asks if you can toast the bagel JUST SAY NO. I would’ve been happy to put my $6.50 towards a stale pastry rather than this ruinous piece of garbage.
