Updated update: Still amazing. High quality everything and substantial portions of food. Again, get the sandwich instead of the wrap. The bread soaks up the meat drippings and mixes with the sauces as you make your way through. The wrap can't do that. It also doesn't taste as good. Spicy sauce + white garlic sauce. I jam French fries in mine as I go. UPDATE: finally back 2 yrs later and Berlins is better than I remember. Words don't do justice. Get the doner Sandwich instead of the wrap. The bread is integral. Original review: For 15 years I have been seeking a German style döner. This is it. Everything is perfect. The bread, veggies, sauces and meat are absolutely delicious. Each element is essential, probably the bread most of all. You can't buy this type of bread in a store as far as I know. FINALLY, a place worthy of return. In fact, if they opened up anywhere near San Francisco, I'd probably eat there every single day. Give it up for the owners of this place. Please come to the SF Bay Area. I'll be the biggest hype man.

Best healthy bite you can get for your buck in mileeees! The kebab sandwich is awesome, the durum wrap too but sandwich best. Great vibe and the guys you can tell they put lots of love on what they do

Excellent service! European style sandwiches! On the healthier side of fast food, I chose the lamb and beef sandwich with the chef sauce, feta cheese and all the fixings . I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean dishes.

Super friendly staff and awesome food. I’m from Berlin and I’ve had the ORIGINAL Berlin Doener. This place carries what is probably closest to the original Berlin Doener sandwich from anywhere I’ve tried in the US. Only con- shredded white cabbage missing. This place still gets 5 Stars! 🤩

Service is a tad on the slow side but they make up for it with their kind attitude and delicious menu. Doner kebab tastes exactly like those in Germany. Highly recommended!

Love this place! Im from Ohio and always come here every time I visit LA. The doner sandwich with beef & lamb is my favorite, its so delicious I crave it! I add Feta for another $1. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I will be back every time!

Haven’t been back here in a minute, but the food is just as amazing as it ever was. Shoutout to the two guys working there on Sunday 10/8 at 5pm. My doner kebab sandwich was probably the best version I’ve had so far from this place. These guys deserve a raise!

This place is petite and not fancy but has good food and best service. Last time i came here i still remember two guys who worked behind the counter were super nice, i think they were the owners. I'm not familiar with the food but one of them friendly explained to us. The fries were big chunky fries which i like most. Parking can be challenging so probably next time i will order from delivery app.

The wrap portions were completely out of proportion to the price. As for the food itself, it had little to do with what one would consider authentic or well-executed wraps or kebabs. At best, perhaps 1% resemblance. For context, in Germany a comparable wrap costs around €5; here it was $17 or so. Different countries, yes—but the value gap is hard to ignore.

For a $17 sandwich, the portion of chicken was extremely ungenerous. When I politely pointed this out, I was met with a surprising level of rudeness and disrespect. Honestly, the attitude was off from the start — no greeting back when I said hello, no basic courtesy, just a rush to take orders. I don’t mind paying premium prices, but I do expect reasonable portions and basic customer service. Unfortunately, this place delivered neither.
