Had a private company party there this past weekend, 130 people for beer and awesome tacos by chef Allen! Jane Park and her team rocked us with amazing service! Cool vibe, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room to have a blast in. We will be back !!!! Thank you so much for making our special event, special!!! With gratitude, Tim / SRS
craft beer at it's finest. nice atmosphere. great people. Visionaries will be celebrating their 30th Music Anniversary there with a rice lager release, November 16th, 2025.
Very cool brewery in the arts district, vibes are on another level. Drinks seemed reasonably priced, staff was chill. Parking can be a bit hard to find depending on the time. Open area with outdoor and indoor seating. Lots of space to hang out, including two pool tables inside. The brewery seems to be involved with the local community and will often host events like food trucks and makers' markets. Highly recommend you check it out if you're in the area!
This place was recommended by one of the servers at another bar so I had to check it out. It's in a huge warehouse with 2 large rooms along with a narrow side patio area. There's some old school arcade games and pool tables, too. The vibe is relaxing but I can imagine it gets crowded later in the evening. There's a nice variety of crafted beers that are made in the next building over. You can also buy merchandise and beers to go.
Really cool reclaimed space. Great tunes, local art. Craft beer. Food trucks, Sport, indoor and outdoor seating, Arcade machines, Pool tables,.. something for everyone. There are a few other craft beer venues nearby which I'm heading to now.
Came back after a long time away and i love the place as much as I did 5 years ago. Great beer selection, great prices, fun activities, and plenty of seating and space to feel comfortable and talk with friends. The two food vendors that came were great and the food was bomb.
Nice spot, seems like a hidden gem. Im originally from LA but live in SD. Stopped by with buddy for a tasty IPA. Im big Hazy fan and they had a good one(can't remember the name). My buddy had the fruit punch West coast style IPA. also a great tasting IPA. Will definitely come back soon and give more beers a taste.
We hosted a 40th bday party with 70 guests in the event space back in January. The guests LOVED the venue, from the amenities (arcade games, ping pong, cornhole, and tons of comfy seating) to the venue vibe (multiple guests asked for the event coordinator’s info), and of course the libations! It was perfection. For us? Jane Park was incredibly accommodating from the beginning. The GM (humble as all get out, both behind the bar and when switching over the venue from an LGBTQIA+ market by day to our party at night) graciously let us chill mocktails prior to the event, stash cupcakes so they stayed fresh, and accepted balloon delivery. The staff is welcoming and so supportive. Security was friendly but effective, helping tap room guests who were curious what was happening in the event room. I cannot say enough good things about boomtown!! I guess I can say it’s 💯 worth traveling from SFV to dtla, that’s how good it is there!
Very impressed with the tasting room. Great layout, relaxed atmosphere, pool tables, darts, and a whole private area for parties. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that clearly know their beer well. Great little foot cart outside with food to soak up the delicious beer.
Best place to shop, drink, and play. Small business shop alternate with performances and even random pirate parties. Queer safe space for all Queers snd Pixies 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🧚🏽♀️This spot is always an adventure! Especially in Saturdays!
Had a great time. Lots of games to play and good beers. Hamburger stand outside good touch. Pet friendly and spacious. What else do you need ? The food here is so good you have to try it .
Cool spot lots of room fun stuff to do including Cornhole darts pool and TV's. The patio is big inside is bigger! Quality beer selection with some unique varieties. They usually have food trucks but you can also Uber eats food. A great place to bring the squad for some brews!
Our family and friends had a great time here celebrating my brother-in-law‘s birthday and watching football on the big screen. Awesome service, beer selection, and music. 10/10
My fav brewery! They always have a good red / amber ale which are hard to find, also a great vibe and they usually have fun random food popups outside
Ordered the Bad Hombre and Mic Czech -- both tasted great. Bad Hombre is definitely a refreshing beer to have on a hot day! There is pool, darts and Cornhole to play. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Thank you all very much! Absolutely exceptional at Boomtown in every respect. I've relocated to TX for a year. The very best to all of you.
Great venue place! Staff is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They give great recommendations when you don't know what to pick!

Great big space. Good decent beers—-most tasted the way they should and they run the gamut from lagers to sours. A bit pricey for a brewery at $7-8 for a full pour but 4oz tasters can be had for $2-4 each. There’s construction on 1st street so be aware if coming in from that direction.
This is a very nice open space with a lot of places to sit. A great selection of beer from light Pilsner/ lager / amber and Stouts. A great place to bring your friends that enjoy beer. Not very far from downtown LA. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they make. You won’t be disappointed.

The beer is ok. The place has great ambience and service. You will have to try a few beers before you find a good one. My favorite was their seasonal mo2 nonfiltered IPA.
