CAVA definitely does the job when you’re hungry on campus. I’ve eaten a few times here, and I’m not a fan of the way ordering online makes your food look like it was made blindfolded. Anyways, I recommend this CAVA over any of the other USC village restaurants.

The service is always so slow- last time I stood in line for an hour and a half. Today I downloaded the app and ordered ahead, but my order was given to someone else, so I had to wait again.

Goood food for reasonable prices. Good portions too. Only downside is long line. And then if I order online, I usually have to wait some amount of minutes after my scheduled pickup time too.

Super gross! I found a hair in my bowl! When I went there ordering food, people working there had bad attitude… What’s worse, I got over charged for something i did not order. I wouldn’t even have got a refund if I didn’t ask for the receipt and looked closely! The person tried to argue with me and didn’t even apologize until the manager fixed it for me. Usually I like the food at Cava, but I will not go back to this location!!! I recommend you all go to a different location.

I order online, and give plenty of time before I head over. I always arrive after the pickup time in the app, but it's never ready. Even when it's not very busy inside, it's never ready on time. Upon further observation, even when they have a full staff, they purposely neglect any and all online orders. There is no reason that my online order should be neglected until after I arrive. Today I asked if my order was ready, and he said they were still working on it. I then saw him go make several in person orders from people who even arrived after me, before my order was eventually worked on 10min later. Don't have an online ordering platform if you aren't going to bother using it the correct way.

The line Takes forever!! The staff is very inefficient, they stand there and do nothing or prioritizes the pickup orders (when no one is there yet) rather than help you Check out. I have been waiting at the cashiers for more than 5min for them to check out. Very inefficient!! Happened multiple times. And their free pita bread run out a lot.

You won’t expect the pita to leak through the damp paper until the moment it does. For the food quality, I will just say it’s USC-ish food, don’t expect anything that you will enjoy. I am pretty sure other CAVA stores are way better though, I will go to another CAVA to find out

The ABSOLUTE WORST LOCATION - count on your order NEVER being correct, did you like sauces in your order we’ll forget about them… you like portion sizes - CAVA on Hoover doesn’t care without fail every time I order they mess it up. Oh and forget about calling the phone system is a joke.

I placed my order to go, recommend by the admission tour guide. It was to be ready at 1:15 it is now 1:50, still no food no explanation. Horrible. I waited 45 minutes in line just to place my order, only to be met with the rudest service imaginable. The staff acted completely uninterested and impatient, as if customers were an inconvenience. When I finally got to the front, the server gave me two scraps of old chicken shawarma — literal leftovers at the bottom of the pan. I asked for a fresh batch (which she said was coming out), but instead of waiting the extra minute, she just pushed my bowl down the line like my request didn’t matter. When I told the toppings person I was waiting for the new batch, she didn’t say a single word — just looked annoyed, snatched my bowl, threw it in the trash, and after a few seconds said, “If you want a new one, you’ll have to go to the back of the line.” So after almost an hour of waiting, I left with no food, no apology, and no basic respect. The entire experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and honestly embarrassing for a place like CAVA. If you value your time or even a shred of decent service, avoid this location at all costs.
