Pizza perfetta proprio come in italia! I am Italian and this was my first time trying. I drive by often and never stopped but happy I did today. The pizza is perfect. I had the tomato basil. The dough was perfect and so was the flavor. The y have various seating locations from a few small rooms to a larger room where you can see the making their dough in one window then the entire baking side where they make the pizza. They had roast garlic and fresh garlic self serve as well.. they had traditional Italian appetizers and salads as well.. perfect for individual or family style with a group.I highly recommend and will be back. I just wish they had Italian music playing to bring the perfect atmosphere and pizza together.. Flavor 10/10. Quality 10/10. Welcoming staff, hmm 8/10 sounds have been more. But back workers were nice. Service 10/10. Grazie mile!

Guys, your pizzeria is just my soul and I spend almost every weekend with you. Everything is perfect except for a few things. The first is: your people at the checkout don't know much about wine and I don't know which one to recommend. This is an Italian pizzeria. I want to immerse myself in Italy and order a good wine with a delicious pizza. It would be nice if they had at least a little understanding of the wines you have on your menu. the second thing is that your cashiers at the checkout are not at all friendly. Like robots. I would like more vibe and to feel a pleasant atmosphere already at the entrance. yesterday i was in your pizzeria, ordered wine and asked for a wine glass that was on the counter and there were a lot of them. the woman at the cash register refused me! why? there were a lot of glasses there given that the hall was already full? why can't i get a wine glass to drink wine? i don't want to drink wine from a water glass

One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles where you can try authentic stone-fired pizza. The restaurant has a rustic and cozy vibe, and you can even visit the pizza baking and preparation area. There are different types of ovens, and you’re free to use as much olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and other toppings as you like. They even offer detox water. In short, it’s a must-visit spot to create one of your best Italian memories in LA. Everything is just great, great, great.

Delicious. Delicious. DELICIOUS! My friend and I go here regularly and we love it. We always get the Diavola pizza & the Meatballs. The Diavola has so much flavor. I love it. Service is great and quick & the atmosphere is so relaxed that you don't want to leave.

I've never had a bad time at DeSano. Hands down one of my favorite pizza spots in town. One of my favorite things is how fast the pizza always comes out. Especially when you come in so hungry and you want to eat immediately. The pizza is always so good. The sauce is great, the cheese they use is great. The place had a parking lot which is always a win in Los Angeles. And they have PLENTY of seating. I will absolutely always say yes if someone invites me here.

This review is solely based on to go. Got a couple of pizzas: Margherita DOP, Original Carnevale and Desano. I enjoyed them all. I also like how they provided instructions on how to reheat the pizzas and I followed it. It was pretty good. I believe that if I dine in instead of ordering to go, it would have tasted much better.

often passed by this pizza place and had always wanted to try it. The parking lot is spacious, which is a big plus, and there are plenty of seats available inside. The interior is nicely done, clean, and well-organized. Since the pizzas are wood-fired, they taste great and the food comes out quickly. One downside was the ordering experience. I chose a pizza and told the staff, but the female employee kept misunderstanding me and tried to put in a different pizza order, even after my friend spelled it out clearly. That part felt a bit odd and frustrating. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. I would definitely come back again.

*Delayed post from June ‘25 Picked up an order to go and wasn’t super impressed, though I think an in person visit would be better as many people have recommended dining in. I’d also choose other items on the menu in the future given this experience. Their parking lot is huge and the building also looks very big, but I didn’t explore the inside. The pick up counter was quick and easy as I placed an online order. We ordered the Heart of Palm Salad as a starter, which was large enough to easily feed 4-5 people. I enjoyed the citrus dressing and there was a significant amount to appropriately coat the amount of greens. The heart of palm slices, tomatoes, and cheese paired well with the arugula, but the ratio was off with too much cheese and not enough tomatoes. The greens were visibly old as ⅓ of them were yellowed, had plenty of holes and or were dried out. Of the two pizzas we ordered, I preferred the Capriccio that had artichoke and prosciutto because it contrasted the base of the pizza and added a variety of flavors and textures. The Cacio e Pepe pizza was too heavy without enough contrast between the cheeses, so it felt more like eating a flatbread with globs of cooked cream on top, even though the quality of the cheese was really high. It needs acidity, whether from sundried tomatoes or a balsamic glaze. Some people might like that amount of cheese though since apparently it’s a favorite on their menu, so who knows. The pizza dough itself was delicious, even the next day after reheating in an airfryer.

I wanted to love this place as I find the atmosphere super chill and kind of quirky. Great for kids, which of course can work both ways when you have another group of kids yelling at the top of their lungs. But the pizzas... Questionable. Ours came pretty charred on the bottom, like burned. They are hastily prepared so it's a hit and miss. We tried the chocolate gelato too and it was not worth the 7$. The craft beer is good.

Had high hope as seen in other reviews but wasn’t satisfied with either of the items we ordered. Everything was average. The vibe of the place is good though. Didn’t like the ricotta filled crust pizza. Also they don’t have any chicken option on their menu.

I was exited to try this place out, but it was a total disappointment. I arrived around 8pm, waited about 9 minutes just to place the order. Cashiers were paying more attention to the pick up orders and not in house customers. Anyway, I sat on a bench close to the kitchen, and did see the food being made by the cooks. To my surprise, my pizza was out in no time, I grabbed the first slice and tasted it. Flavor was great, but the dough was undercook and the bottom of the pie was charred. That explained why it was out so fast. I observed the pizza cook and he seemed very careless about managing the temperature or time in the oven. I saw other pies come out of the oven smoking literally. I requested to speak with the kitchen manager, they said there was no manager, i was told to go to the front if i wanted to speak with someone. I took a few bites and left dissatisfied of course.

I wanted to love this place. I ordered the San Geranno and it came out so soggy! It was actually wet and didn’t hold up at all so the toppings fell off. I asked a staff member if they could crisp it up, and he said they can’t put it back in (understandable), but then just left. Didn’t offer to make a new one or anything. It became mush when I tried to grab a second piece. So ask for the pizza well done. Chopped salad was delicious. The pizza would have been amazing if it wasn’t so soggy.
