I came here last week and they were able to accommodate our party of 12. The food was really good. They have authentic Mexican food from queso fundido (melted cheese) to pozole. We did order a shrimp ceviche as an appetizer and it was yummy! I ordered the Milanesa plate and it was really good! In our party we had some kids so they were served a quesadilla and chicken nuggets with fries. So there are options for the kids. And for the adults some had margaritas and some ordered palomas which my party enjoyed. The service was great and the food was really yummy! I hope people can come and enjoy this authentic Mexican restaurant! 🇲🇽

Signature burrito is El Don, and it looked absolutely delicious. Since I don't eat meat, I asked for extra beans, and they gave me that, but there was a LOT of rice in the burrito. Otherwise the burrito was amazing!

You can't beat $1 taco Tuesdays at this place. The tacos are delicious and they have a good selection of meats. Their entrees are all great too and I'm quite fond of their pozole (pork and hominy soup) on cold or rainy days. Parking can be a challenge as the lot is small, but there's usually street side parking along Jefferson near the hyperloop office.

Hey guys so my experience was very interesting it was a Sunday morning i had a hangover i went out the night before to celebrate my promotion...i called and ordered a pozole with horchata but when i arrived i realized i didnt have my card...i had left it at the bar🙈😂....Don Chuys son assisted me at the moment i didnt know he was his son...well let me tell you guys this guy was so mice he understood and trusted me to come back he actually let me keep the order without even knowing me...he could of said sorry..he risked getting in trouble for me...i have to say that guy is a very good hearted hardworker not only that this place was clean and the staff were very nice...i had a pleasure of meeting his dad the next day i returned to pay them for the huge favor he did for me..if he wouldnt of done that i would of been sick at work till 10pm it would of been a long rough day..the foid was on point the horchata was not too sweet i also purchased tacos the next day not greasy good portion of food..they never forget the chips amd salsa all utencils were in my bag..parking is small but not super small...I reccomend this restaurant for their food and great customer service i will be returning as a mattet of fact i just ordered Birria..Special Thank you to Don Chuys son you are one a kind keep the good work and thank you so much for helping me when i needed it!

First time in LA. My colleague and I wanted to try local Mexican. We were not disappointed. This place was friendly!! It was early so we got a nice table. Staff were very attentive. We thought the salsa at this location was outstanding! Never sampled a salsa like this before - it leaves a delightful tingle on your tongue. Also enjoyed the hint of lime. Fajitas were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and delicious! The only thing I wondered about is parking - scarce parking especially with 2 other restaurants on either side. Most customers must walk/be local.

Taco tuesday has a great price but taste was just alright. Great service though. I’ll try something else in the menu that’s regular price next.

Don Chuy's is like eating in your living room it's cute and cozy atmosphere to take a chatty lunch mate or a passenger seat rider that's company for your errands for a snack. I ordered the enchiladas combo and the price was fair The taste was averagely fair I guess the chunk of onion . My waiting time was fair over all I just wanted to try something different.😐

A fun local restaurant that runs an incredibly cheap Taco Tuesdays of $0.99 cent soft corn tacos all day. They are street tacos, so relatively small but if you order several you'll surely be full. The tacos while a bargain had minimal meat and just raw onion with cilantro, no sauce nor any other toppings. The potato taco was a hard shell at $1.95 which was likely the most interesting of the bunch. There's free freshly fried tortilla chips with fresh salsa, yum! Service was nice. The atmosphere was very casual. Would definitely be interested in going back to try the other dishes at the restaurant.

We were seated quickly however the waiters service was not up to par. I felt as if the color of our skin is why our service was not as speedy as every one else in the restaurant. They do not have a full bar all drinks were wine based. We had fish chili Verde and shrimp. The dishes lacked flavor. We give the food 3 stars

Terrible service I ordered a small pozole and this was what I got no vegetables o tostadas, nothing I thought the size was going to be reasonable but this is a scam don't come here again don't waste your money and those of us who know what real Mexican food is this is a mockery of birria it looks like adobo it's a stupid joke

Food was ok but not all that!! Our Server suggested the fajitas over the Mexican bistec but my wife didn't like it. Burrito was big but stuffed with beans and rice and barely any meat!! This is my first time here and it will be my last!
