Avis sur Hara Sushi Los Angeles
Always love coming to drunken sushi!!!! Alix is always so very sweet, thoughtful, and cheerful (from tips with food and watching out for parking/garage vs street parking hours to avoid towing or tickets [unsolicited, so sweet]). Honestly can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The food is so so delicious! Specifically recommend the sunrise roll, and it’s even on the happy hour menu. It’s always a highlight of my day when I get to go :)
This was my first time at drunken fish and I was definitely impressed! The interior is super clean and nicely decorated - you can tell everything is new and updated and it shows as it’s such a pretty restaurant 👍🏼service is great and happy hour has great options for sushi roll, appetizers, and beer, sake. Such a cute place for date night. I will definitely return!
They changed the name and ownership since we last came a few months ago. But the quality of good stays the same if not better. We ordered a few rolls, sashimi salad and sashimi sampler. Everything tastes amazing and feels fresh. Great ingredients! They also have a fake cherry blossom tree which adds a nice ambiance.
We ordered the Heart Attack, Sushi Combo, Crab Roll, Korean Bulgogi, and Spicy Miso Ramen. All the food was delicious, and the service was good and welcoming. The cherry blossoms were also beautiful. I would definitely revisit!
Family Japanese Restaurant. Good menu for kids. Great food and drinks for grown up! We really enjoyed our Sunday Easter lunch here.
This is an incredible sushi place. Authentic, classy, and delicious. I got the Vegetable Roll and the Tempura California Roll. The vegetable roll is good for vegetarians or people who don't like fish, but the tempura California is the most amazing sushi I've ever tasted. Not overpowering, but a perfect blend of rich flavors and a great crunchy&creamy texture. Definitely the best sushi place around, and they have a wide variety of rolls, as well as many other options.
Ive always love Hara’s. E we’ve been there this weekend and figure it out that the meno was different. They changed management but food still delicious.
Great sushi for a great price! Crispy rice and rose roll are my favorite
My husband and I are here from out of town. We ate at Hara for two nights ha ha their food is absolutely amazing. We had the Philadelphia, spider roll and the baked salmon mmm mmm highly recommend.
New ownership -- and it's an improvement! Still a classic sushi spot on the West Side. My favorites are the Choo Choo Special and the Ginza rolls. And now their baked can roll. Fresh and perfect. And their Spider roll is pretty exceptional too. Best Cucumber salad I've had in a while. Love it here.

Good food for vegetarians at good prices! We had several servings of the avocado rolls, with a plate of veggie tempura sushi, egg rolls and veggie gyoza. It was all excellent! The servers were polite and attentive. The interior was decorated nicely too! Thank you!
I always enjoy coming here. Really unique cherry blossom decorated ceiling. Large sushi and roll menu. I like the volcano roll, but everything I have had is good. Friendly staff and very good service.
Live near here and go all the time. Really enjoy their specialty rolls Red Tiger and Sun Rise. Leo is very nice and food is always fresh. The kind of place to patron. Their happy hour has awesome prices for rolls.
Love this spot! Food is always delicious, service is always great, + you can’t beat the ambience 🌸
Great sushi spot with extensive menu . They have an excellent happy hour daily 5-6p!

We had been to Hara previously and it was alright. We saw the owner had changed and decided to give it a try. I got the baked scallop roll and it was delicious. My wife and kid got bento boxes. Those were also very good. The prices were reasonable and the food was plentiful. We found our new go-to spot for Japanese food.
Hara Sushi was great! Rolls are packed full with a variety of ingredients, they do not skimp on portion size! Wish the rice was a bit more fresh but overall the fish and combination of flavors were tasty! We ordered the West coast, Phili, Red dragon, Lighthouse and Vegas and left very happy and full.
An old and professional sushi place in West LA. They are very clean, nice and professional. It is one of the most delicious sushi in the city. Strongly recommend.)
I order Hara for takeout regularly as I work nearby. It’s not super high end like Sugarfish or Nobu, but when you’re looking for fresh sushi at a reasonable price from a clean restaurant, Hara consistently meets my expectations. My order is always the same and simple and it’s always good.
I go here once a month. The fish isn’t the freshest or the fattiest but it’s decent for the price. I recommend getting the 3 item dinner bento box (California roll, Tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri) comes with salad and rice for $23 before tax and tip.

I've ordered two rolls. The first one (salmon, crab and lemon) was okay. The roll is huge but the salmon is cut very thin. The second roll was cut and placed underneath a heap of small shrimp with some brown sauce. It wasn't appetizing at all. When I tried to pick up a piece of the roll with my chopsticks, it just fell apart. The entire dish was like a rice porridge. It's not what one expects from sushi.

Love the decore change inside from when it was Hara Sushi. However, price vs food has been disappointingly declining. I ordered a lobster roll, which is lobster cooked in a sauce on top of a CA roll. It’s just shy of $20. For reference, a CA roll alone is just shy of $7, so the lobster part is $13. The lobster & sauce didn’t even cover the CA roll. It used to cover the top and looked like the Wilshire roll. The owner, I’m assuming it was the owner, sounded like he didn’t care when we called.
