Ordered seafood tomato sauce and panna cotta. Both were sooo good! We will be back!
Staff was very kind and recommendations exceeded expectations. Portion sizes were good as well. Would highly recommend for a nice lunch/dinner. Parking may be limited.
If you want a real authentic Italian meal with no frills go here. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! The spaghetti and meatballs is amazing, my husband got the squid ink pasta with calamari and muscles. Everything was DELICIOUS 😋 The wanna cota was amazing!
When staying a single night in Burbank to break up our drive home to the SF Bay area, we looked up local Italian restaurants and found this one. Definitely some of the best food, service, and atmosphere we've ever experienced. Every ingredient was fresh and made every bite a delight. We will attempt to plan future trips with time to stop here for a meal.
La Pergoletta, you've stolen my heart! ❤️ I recently dined here and had an unforgettable experience. The spaghetti and meatballs were absolute perfection – the pasta was cooked al dente, and the meatballs were tender and flavorful. The sauce was rich and savory, complementing the dish beautifully. But what really put La Pergoletta over the top was the tiramisu. Oh. My. Goodness. 🍰 The ladyfingers were perfectly soaked, and the mascarpone cream was smooth and divine. It was the ideal way to end a fantastic meal. The service was also exceptional – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful dining experience. La Pergoletta's commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every aspect of their restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic evening. I'm already planning my next visit to try more of their delicious dishes. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, do yourself a favor and head to La Pergoletta. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!
I love this place! I used to go to their second location but I guess it got shut down for some reason. Regardless, the food quality is fantastic. It’s the perfect place for a romantic date. The pasta is made in house and its beautiful aesthetics can’t be beat. I like to go for dinner so they can use the wine bottle candles. Personally, I haven’t found a better tiramisu in all of So Cal. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their menu has a wide selection too. One of my favorite restaurants of all time!
Delicious handmade pastas and a great selection of appetizers and deserts! I ordered the beef ravioli with pesto, and it was phenomenal. Our waiter was very friendly and answered all of our questions, and even let my friend charge her phone in the back. The atmosphere is very cozy and homey, with indoor and outdoor seating available. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in LA!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. I ordered the Fettuccine Nero di Seppa al Frutti di Mare (Squid Ink fettuccine) and it was so delicious... I will order it with light spice next time, though. I service here is impeccable... Caring, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and the ingredients! They offered some amazing dishes, including the Squid Ink fettuccine, which was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and authentic... I felt like I was in Italy! A real homy and warm vibe inside the restaurant. I highly recommend them for their freshly-made pasta in-house!
La Pergoletta is a great little neighborhood Italian spot that I love because of their freshly made pastas. Make a reservation to get a good table. My only complaint is that the price seems to be a little high depending on the entree. Maybe that’s just the price of going out to eat these days.
Quaint little Italian place. Service is great. Food is delicious. Their creamy pesto with short rib ravioli was amazing. Love that they add pine nuts too. The funghi pasta is so beyond delicious. We’ve had the funghi risotto too before and it’s a must. Literally the ONLY thing I wish… extra bread shouldn’t cost more. They don’t give you a lot to begin with and it’s just so good, we really wish we can eat more without paying more. Parking - small free parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Very authentic Italian flavor. With pasta made from scratch and freshly baked bread, it is pleasant to dine here at this friendly restaurant. I ordered their "pappardelle boscaiola" along with filet mignon. Delicious. My family also had some great plates like raviolis and Alfredo pasta with shrimp. However, there was a problem with my wife's lasagna. According to online positive comments, "it is one of the best lasagna in LA". I'm sorry to say that it was not, it was bland, a very flat serving with little to no meat and for some reason it tasted lemony or citrus. I do have to say that our waiter did take care of us and changed our plate right away. For dessert we had the tiramisu, which was good. We also had the canolli, that one had a very hard shell, tough to chew. Not enjoyable. Maybe it was a bit old and stale. Just maybe....
Good pasta with great service. I arrived for lunch and I was able to get a seat without a problem. I felt like I was in someone’s home and the waiter was awesome. I ordered the pasta arrabbiata and the sauce was good. No complaints whatsoever, a decent place to enjoy a meal with friends.
We arrived without a reservation and the restaurant was happy to accommodate our party at outside tables. The warmers kept us warm in the chilly March weather. Food was tasty, it arrived fast and hot. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, suggesting several dishes. Accessible, with a ramp leading inside. Small parking lot right outside in front of the restaurant.
I get why there is so much hype in this restaurant. First of all, it's a very little but charming Italian restaurant that will surely make you feel very homey. Second, the food came out pretty quickly and everything tasted flavorful! Third, the price is very reasonable for the huge amount of serving that they give. But why 4 stars only? As much as I love how everything tasted, the quality of the pasta noodles weren't my favorite. I felt like the pasta noodles were overcooked. With that being said, I would still go back because the whole experience is amazing but I hope the next time we come, the pasta noodles are cooked to our liking.
Why are you guys lying on here??? This was the worst food I put in my mouth! Every ingredient was cheap! And everything was overcooked. The Margherita pizza was basically regular sauce and american cheese. The lasagna $27 was flat and no ricotta, just straight powder parmesan, ewwww. They also bring powdered cheese to the table! Somebody needs to shut this hipster dumpster fire ASAP!!!
TLDR: Go somewhere else, this place sucks. Made a reservation for my partner’s birthday. I’m very type A so I planned the perfect day of various activities and this was the one place that completely ruined the day. We got there as soon as it opened for dinner and I just asked for them to sing for my partner’s birthday if they can with no expectations. However, as soon as I got there I already knew they didn’t even bother reading the reservation. They asked me if I wanted to be seated outdoors or indoors, which was already asked online when I made the reservation. I tried to keep a positive attitude, so we get seated inside (I chose inside because it’s rainy and cold) and I took my jacket off thinking it would be warm but it was so cold. I chose this spot thinking it would have a cute homey ambiance, but it wasn’t a cute ambiance at all, just felt like eating at home and the lights went out so a candle was lit. Jesus was our server and we noticed that everyone who got seated before us already got their water and we were waiting until he got to us. All the other servers seemed attentive, ours went missing. He gave us our menu and was gone for a while so we already decided on what we will get. He comes back to explain the special after many minutes of waiting to order, then tells us to take our time??? Like we already decided what we wanted from how long you were gone for… He finally comes back and we make our order of a seafood pasta and a carbonara dish. We got the bread basket, which is the most disappointing bread basket I’ve ever gotten by the way. I’m surprised they even charge for more because it’s really nothing special. Finally, our food is served, the carbonara was okay but it was a little too salty and why are they using bacon? My seafood pasta was okay ish. The sauce had sand from probably the clam or mussels. The squid was great, shrimp and scallops were good, mussels were not clean at all and had some crunch from small broken shell pieces and sand and hair. Also the gnocchi was not good at all. It was just dough cut up, no shape and overcooked, not the typical chewy texture. We finish and wait for our waiter to come back to us. He comes back and asks if we want anything else, after our disappointment, I did not want to be even more upset over dessert so I said no we’re good. He comes back with the check and tells us to take our time and disappears??? Like we have no food left to finish, we’re just trying to pay and leave, but we just decided after some time of waiting to pay we walked up to the front and asked to pay. My partner isn’t even a picky eater at all and even he thought the food was bad. I’ve been to better spots that are much cheaper. I don’t mind paying more money for good experience and food. I’d recommend going somewhere else.
