Tokyo Cube is a cozy sushi spot loved for its delicious rolls, attentive service, and clean atmosphere. The crispy rice and various sushi rolls (Candy Crush, Sunset, Mexican) are highly recommended. Some find it pricey, but worth the quality.

We went to Tokyo Cube and honestly it was beyond amazing. 🤍 We ordered takoyaki, yellowtail wrapped shishito, and popcorn shrimp. 🍤 🐙 every single dish was delicious. When we mentioned the takoyaki was a little cold, they immediately made a fresh batch and even added extra takoyaki for us. That level of care is rare! But what really made the night unforgettable was the team. I’ve never seen such a warm, friendly, genuinely kind staff in Los Angeles. Everyone was smiling, attentive, and so sweet. it felt like we were guests in a friend’s home. Since it was Valentine’s Day, they even treated us to ice cream and oranges, and gave us a heart-shaped balloon on the way out. Such thoughtful little touches 🥹💗
I went to this little sushi place with my friend because it was one of the highest rated sushi places near my apartment that was in my price range. Let's just say the reviews don't lie this place was fantastic. Both my rolls where really good. The rolls where a lot thicker than what I'm used to but I ain't gonna complain about getting more sushi. The service was okay but I'll definitely be coming back to this place.
Very yummy hidden gem. Pricey yes, but the food was well worth it. Fish quality was wonderful. Beautifully presented. Server was great as well!
After moving to the Hollywood Hills area, I was concerned that I wouldn’t find a Japanese restaurant that matched what I had living near little Tokyo. But I was very pleasantly surprised when visiting Tokyo that they have some of the best Ramin I’ve had in Los Angeles. their staff is very attentive and nice and they also have a very great Sushi selection.
Loved loved our dinner here! Miso eggplant is a must order, could eat that every day!!!! Sunset and Candy rolls were really plesant and fresh, Mexican roll was a little spicy but well balanced. Udon noodle soup and beef teriyaki poke bowl were solid, loved it, portions are really good size. There is a small parking lot outside. Overall, really glad we found this place, will be coming back!!
November 17,2024 This little place is a hidden gem. I have never been here before but it's as good as other Japanese restaurants. I recommend their "kyoshu ramen", it's as good as "yu-gi-oh ramen" from (SUBAN SUSHI RAMEN) one of the ramen place in San Fernando Valley, CA. Me, along with my family and our friends had a really good experience. I would definitely come back to try their other foods in the menu and update my review whenever I get the chance.
I am so much thankful for this restaurant. Today, I got an cancelled booking in AirBnb Experience here in Los Angeles. I flew from Toronto to Los Angeles and suddenly 1hr before the airbnb schedule I got a message from the host that he is proposing for a refund. Thankfully I am near this restaurant and it might be a destiny that I was dropped by my uber driver here. Since I was frustrated, I just decided to eat inside this restaurant. Surprisingly the food is great. Amazingly great taste and excellent preparation. This will be memorable for me as I recovered from my frustrations after eating in their restaurant. Memorable this is one of the restaurants I visited when I am in Los Angeles.
My boyfriend and I ate here a few nights ago to celebrate his birthday. He got several different kinds of sushi and they were all fantastic. My teriyaki bowl was also good. The service was just as incredible as the food. 10/10 would recommend!
Delicious restaurant for sushi and great service. The vegetable tempura, takoyaki and the Rubik scallop roll were delicious, would recommend. I'm sure their other rolls and appetizers are as good as them. The spicy Ramen was okay, not bad but not great, would not get again. The price is a little on the high end but understandable. The service was great. Would come here again.
Wow what a pleasant surprise, given it'snext to a gas station. Food is exceptional, service is excellent and the price very reasonable. Parking is not super easy😞will be back many times.
We went for lunch. There is parking in front. The appearance of the restaurant is neat and tidy. They have been in business for about 2 years. The location was previously an Italian restaurant. They have an outdoor patio. Inside they have 2 TVs. They didn't have a liquor license when we went. The waiter was very nice, polite and attentive. We ordered poke, grilled salmon and some rolls. All were prepared quickly and looked very impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The prices were reasonable. I recommend them highly.
What a nice little hole in the wall or gas station … lol! The staff is lovely, every person that works here when making eye contact offered a smile and that in itself is very welcoming! Only had 2 dishes but they didn’t disappoint! The crispy rice is CRISPY! And the lemon roll and it was so filling and light at the same time. I’ve never had a roll with lemon segments and i must say this is such a nice touch of brightness. The sake also didn’t disappoint!
Absolutely love this place. Favorite cozy, tasty, easy and delicious sushi spot in LA. The service here is always very kind and the rolls are packed with flavor. My recommendations are the All In, Candy Crush, Love and WOW.
Cute little sushi spot! Our server as well as the rest of the staff were great. All the food came out in a timely manner, the restaurant was really clean, and we were checked on accordingly. The decor was almost like a rustic, modern vibe but very welcoming. Perfect spot for a date! One of the sushi chefs also graced us and a few other patrons with a complimentary shot of sake, which was incredibly appreciated! We ordered the California roll, crunch roll, and universal roll and all of them were amazing.
Great food and great customer service. Good deal to try many different dishes during happy hour. Traveled from Sacramento and was glad I came here!

Yes it's right next to a gas station but that shouldn't put you off, the place is pretty good. There are only 4 parking sports directly in front so at a busy time I can see this being an issue. The service was great. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in case we had any questions. The food ranges from decent to good. The Black Garlic Miso Ramen wasn't hot enough for me and way too salty. The tofu that I ordered as my protein was cold. The Lady Gaga sushi was a mixed bag. The toppings were a great combination of flavor but the tuna itself wasn't very good. I wouldn't order it again personally. That being said, we did really enjoy the Shrimp Tempura Cut Roll. It's not the best I've had but still very good. The Garlic Edamame as a starter was pretty amazing I have to say. Definitely get that! The Bluefin Tuna sushi we tried was also very good actually. I liked the ambiance inside: nice and clean with appealing decor. It's not really a place for a romantic dinner but it's not aiming for that anyway. Would certainly recommend if you're in the area.
Solid, tasty neighborhood sushi is the name of the game here. Tokyo Cube is the kind of place you instantly feel like you can become a regular. It's small, knowable and comfortable. Oh, and don't let the proximity to the freeway fool you. You want to sit outside here and watch the masses stream north into The Valley or south into Hollywood. It's a special form of enjoyment that you'll soon find yourself strangely falling in love with. There are two or three parking spots right in front, but just plan on parking in the neighborhood and walking down, since those are almost always filled when Tokyo Cube is open. Don't skip the starters. The seaweed salad was great and the takoyaki and edamame are both worth a look too. The sushi is good. Not great - this won't be a destination on your "must try" list when visiting from out of state - but it is solid sushi and you'll be happy you had it. The nigiri is tasty, but the rolls are really where the fun is to be had. The Longhorn Roll is a personal favorite and the Red Bull Roll won't disappoint either. Try a few that catch your fancy. You really can't go wrong. There's also poke bowls and noodle dishes if that more to your liking. (I haven't tried any of these menu items, so can't speak for them.) There's your standard listing of sake, beer and wine, all of which are a great complement to a sunny late afternoon on the patio. All in all, you could do much worse than Tokyo Cube.

Great dishes and nice intimate space. Not the best i ever had, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is the best sushi in the area. Service was great but please be patient they are all very nice.
Tokyo Cube looks promising at first glance, but unfortunately the experience falls short in several areas. The biggest issue is the lack of balance between food quality, pricing, and service. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, expectations naturally rise—but Tokyo Cube doesn’t deliver. We were the only customers in the entire place, yet still had to wait more than 25 minutes between receiving our dishes. It seemed like their main focus was on preparing food for takeout and delivery orders, which might explain why our dine-in service was so slow. The staff were friendly, but the pacing of the meal left the experience feeling frustrating and disjointed. On the positive side, their Bluefin Tuna, Toro, and Black Cod Sushi were very good—fresh and flavorful. However, the Tokyo Cube sashimi was unrealistically overpriced for the mediocrity of the dish, making it hard to justify ordering again. And when compared to other restaurants that offer similar or even better quality at more reasonable prices (and with far better service), it’s hard to see the value here. The low point of the meal was the ramen, which was hideous. The noodles were overcooked, and the broth was watery and lacking depth, nothing like what you’d expect. Overall, Tokyo Cube is overpriced and inconsistent, with a few bright spots overshadowed by slow service and poorly executed dishes. There are many better options out there.

Not usually one to write a review but I was particularly disappointed by our experience here. The music was too loud and too intense, which for our family was not what we are looking for at a restaurant. The service was okay but one persons meal arrived after everyone was finished. For a 4.7 star restaurant and a rather pricey bill this was definitely not worth it. It’s a great location and great menu so im sure the points i mentioned can be improved.
