Exceptional restaurant, food & service! The Tuck Room is a hidden gem. Ambience & decor is great & upscale. The hostess was very personable & professional. Natalie provided excellent service. She was professional, personable & informative. She provided some great recommendations. Ryan was also very helpful & friendly & was very gracious to take photos of my wife/I. We had the spinach dip & burrata for appies. I had the 10oz chicken & my wife had the Shrimp Linguini. Both dishes were delicious! We were SO Full we had no room for dessert! I would highly recommend Tuck Room! Thank you Tuck Team. Great job. Kudos 💯
The food and drink were delicious and well crafted, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was excellent! Parking is just next to the theater and restaurant and is just $3.50 with validation. Attached is their passionfruit dessert. It was the perfect birthday treat.
I ask for some drinks and food. Excellent barman. And excellent service
Tonight was my first time at the Tuck Room tavern, everything we ordered was great. We had the brussel sprouts, the crab cake and the salmon! All are a must try. Wine was great too, as well as service. Loved it and will come back
Came in around 8pm on a friday night, was relatively empty, the ambiance is great more of like a cocktail bar type of place serving classic american food We ordered Bone marrow, the tuck burger and the sweet and spicy bacon burger Bone marrow was delicious & the serving is BIG for its price point. But I don’t recommend ordering it if you come as a party of 2 as an appetiser. It’s too much for 2 and we were basically full by the time we finished this, it also gets pretty greasy at the end cuz we couldn’t finish fast enough I had the sweet and spicy bacon burger with sweet potato fries, was a great burger and fries overall just sadly I couldn’t finish it Service was friendly and speedy, would definitely recommend if you craving good burgers and want to order with some cocktails or alcohols
I oerdere the Shrimp n Grits its was ok. Their steak was yummy, sides were delish. calamari was fire. Their deserts were ok. LOVED the hot/cold chocolate.
Great venue, good food, and friendly staff! Love the decor and atmosphere! For food: -The crab cakes are amazing. (We ordered another round of them after trying the first plate.) -The tuna poke was meh. -Sweet corn was good and piping hot. -The braised beef was lacking in flavor but not terrible.
Stopped by the tuck room during a weekday night for drinks. It’s a quirky, classy, and vibrant place with friendly staff. There’s a movie theater at the top and a few different bars that close at different times. Great place to check out in Westwood.

I recently visited Tuck Room Tavern, and it blew me away! The drinks here are amazing—crafted with care and full of flavor. I tried the "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" cocktail, and it was just incredible. The ambiance is chic and comfortable, and the food is top-notch. If you're looking for a stylish but laid-back spot for drinks and bites, this place is perfect
Definitely one of my favorite spots in LA ! The fall speciality menu is just mind blowing ! The service is also excellent !
We visited LA last week, and dined out a LOT, but the service we received here from Jenny was by far the best we had. She was prompt but didn’t rush us, she clocked our vibe immediately and was funny, engaging and professional. As a former restaurant manager, Jenny is the kind of server I would have discreetly slipped my card to at the end of the meal in hopes of stealing her. The rest of the staff (sorry we didn’t get names!) were also incredible: our food runner/server assistant was delightful, and the security guy who quickly and discreetly handled the man who was visiting our table without an invitation, thank you! Also, the food was excellent (and massive portions) - we suggest sharing the fries and bone marrow but they did make for excellent leftovers so no complaints. Loved the whimsical and warm decor, and attention to detail (spotless stemware/flatware, overall noticeable cleanliness of the entire place). We had a lovely time, thank you!
Really nice restaurant. Service was good. I had a impossible burger with fried onions rings on it and it was great. I also had the brussels sprouts as a side and they were fantastic. My partner had the steak tacos (which were gluten free) and she really liked them. Atmosphere is also very nice. Will definitely come again.
Amazing staff and good drinks. The chicken with asparagus and potatoes (can’t recall the name) was absolutely awesome! Awesome flavoring on the chicken crust and the asparagus was perfectly cooked(not squishy as can happen when played under the meat some times.) The halved potatoes were not seasoned very much, but still decent with a good pan fried crunch.
The sandwiches and hamburgers are really good, and they have a large selection of drinks. The ambiance is excellent

The vibe is modern speakeasy. Irreverent art, chandeliers, low light… it creates the mood for connection. The tables are full as it’s clearly a popular date spot - couples shyly sharing their stories over well made cocktails. The food is solid. Faces are full of smiles, the specials such as lobster Mac n cheese are served piping hot. The airline chicken was moist and the accompanying mustard sauce was on point both in quantity and taste. Salmon was cooked to order and the flavor Combinations were fresh and flavorful. We will be back.

Definitely recommend the burger and fries. The flatbread was ok. Wasn’t a huge fan of the cauliflower which had some sweet Asian sauce and furikake sprinkled on it. Nice atmosphere
The place is gorgeous, they have a good selection of wines and drinks, and decent food. I would give them 5 stars if I would have received a better service from their crew. Otherwise the place is great

20250928 First time here with Resy recommendation. Ambiance of restaurant was great, attached to Epic Theater. Cute. Loved the artwork and overall vibe. Staff were very friendly. Family bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Food was ok overall. Out of the 3 dishes we ordered, only the Tuck Burger would we recommend. Fries were on point. Crispy exterior. Fluffy pillowy interior. September flatbread special was not very impressive or remarkable and the roasted cauliflower was fried and oily, not roasted.
The decor and couches are nice, and it's near my house, so I've wanted to like this place, but after three visits I've never left particularly happy with my experience. The food is expensive, but frankly not great--I've had most of the appetizers, an entree, and brunch and I was never wowed or even impressed. The cocktails are fine, but not great, which is disappointing given that they run up to $16. My biggest beef with the place is the pretentiousness of it all though; you can see their weird wannabe Patrick Bateman vibe from their website, and that bottle-service-in-vegas attitude comes across when you're in the restaurant, too. In sum, this place is totally fine--your food and drinks will be perfectly tasty and you can enjoy the environment or watch some sports at the bar. But you'll also pay too much and it's not going to feel like a welcoming or authentic place. It could be good for a date or get together, but if you're just looking for some good food and cocktails and a place to pass some time, I say go elsewhere (like, say, Skylight Garden just a couple blocks away).

I was at the tuck room years ago. The food was a lot better years ago than when I just recently went there. It's connected to the movie theater, but if you want to go into the movie, the food doesn't come from the restaurant. It comes from a from a different restaurant

Tonight myself and two young adult sons came to The Tuck Room for the first time for the Thanksgiving buffet. I was really looking forward to the experience. I'm sorry to say but the food was not good at all as it did not taste like normal Thanksgiving dishes at all. The turkey and mashed potatoes were good but that was about it. The stuffing was soggy and greasy and had zero flavor, the cornbread was mushy, the "cranberry sauce" did not taste like cranberry sauce (it was awful), and the truffle mac & cheese was dry and hard. I would have to say that this restaurant should stick with whatever food they specialize in on a daily basis and NOT on Holiday food as they failed miserably. It was not enjoyable at all. Wasted $195. The guy that was carving the turkey at the carving station was not nice at all. I noticed he was pleasant and smiled at other guests that approached the carving station, but that did not happen with me even when I tried talking to him. He was very straight faced with me. I asked for turkey with skin on it and he only gave me turkey. I asked for the skin again and he ripped a piece and sat it on top of my turkey slice!! Like WHAT!??? It looked like slop how he did that!! All he had to do was slice the turkey from the top of the bird that had skin attached and happily served me that...problem solved. I returned for a second slice of turkey later and something was off about him. He seemed almost hesitant to serve me another slice. I began to think there were some type of limit on the turkey although it was a buffet. He proceeded to give me a slice of white meat and when I asked for skin again, he stopped, put his arms down and silently sighed with his body language and began to give me skin with dark meat when I specifically asked for white meat! I reminded him that I do not want dark meat. He then ripped a few pieces of skin from around the turkey and again plopped it on top of my turkey slice. That was NOT OKAY and gross. It did NOT look appetizing. I walked away and did not eat it. For $65 per person and it being a buffet, if I wanted two slices of turkey with skin, then GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR!!!! I asked my waiter to speak with the manager and guess what??? The turkey guy was the assistant manager! Acting like that!!?? So I asked who was over him! I am a military veteran and have been taught to use my chain of command. Everybody has someone over them. I had enough of that treatment he repeatedly gave me and asked for his manager. She was pleasant and I spoke with her. I will not return to this restaurant for holiday food or just in general for that matter. By the way, Kyle our server was really nice, super friendly, professional and polite. That is the only positive I took away from tonight.
