Avis sur Gabby's Lost Hills
Avoid the crappy fast food right off the highway at Lost Hills exit. I guess they've been open about a year. Incredible chicken burrito with homemade chips and salsa Verde. My new favorite stop for food after filling up!
Great food awesome service. I asked for 4 tacos since everyone else is making little tacos. I thought this place had the same size tacos. To my surprise they were big tacos. It's a bit pricey but the are so worth it!
Me and my family just ate here and it was amazing the food was very good the bathrooms were super clean and it was a family of three for under $40 I appreciate it good Mexican food restaurant definitely we will be back
A little hidden gem. The food has always been great here. Customer service is amazing at this family-owned establishment. Also, try their food truck food.
Yummy veggie enchiladas. Best warm, crunchy, home made chips! Soooo good. Great salsas, too. A LOT of food and very nice, friendly service. Worth it.
Because it's not a chain. Spotless, maybe because it's new, and cheap, no wait staff, order at the counter and get a number. You're like 2 miles off the 5, on the 46 if you're heading to Paso or the beach so not even out of your way. I think the radio ad said 12 kinds of meat in the tacos. It just seems right to support a local business. No complaints, enjoyed my chile relleno & taco al pastor combo. This place is right where the speed limit drops to 45, may as well stop!
We love the carne asada burritos from gabbys. The fellas and i work close by frequent this place roughly once a week. We get the care asasa burritos meat onions and cilantro only. They're great. And the people there are super friendly.
we both had two carnitas tacos. High quality pork with fresh toppings. Simple but delicious. And the restaurant and facilities are immaculately clean.
Best place in Lost Hills for lunch! Breakfast is good too. Parking is easy and room for larger vehicles as long as it is not too busy. Great menu and fast service. Check daily specials, there's always something good on the board. We try to stop when we are passing through and have never been disappointed.
We were in the area looking for a new home. Thought about having a good lunch. Checked different reviews before making our decision. They were very busy, actually packed. After a ten, maybe fifteen minute wait, we were seated. Outstanding food and spectacular service. Now that we have been to this restaurant, I would wait up to an hour for a table.
I just stopped in to Gabby’s for a quick bite but I was able to get a couple shrimp tacos for a really decent price! They were delicious and they had kind of a spicy sauce on it but not too spicy and excellent flavor! I also was able to get an iced tea and stop by their very clean restrooms which is always important when you’re on the road! The reason why I stopped by Gabby’s is because of the really cool signs on the freeway that say “a taco a day keeps the hangry away!” Really brilliant marketing and a great place to get a bite to eat! Thank you!
We are not fast foodies so we ventured one mile west of I-5 for this local Mexican restaurant. We were very pleased to see local workers and families here. It is fast service with an inside walk up counter to order. We sat outside in a lovely covered patio where they brought our food. Inside seating is large, clean and well lit. Food was delicious. We learned that Gabby was killed by a drunk driver but her passion lives on. Eat here, not at the off-ramp chain restaurants. Yum.
Don't eat at the chains! So glad we took a mile detour off the highway. Fantastic food, fresh and tasty as heck. If you get here before 10:30 be sure to try the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Friendly service.
Instead of the standard greasy fast food available just off I5, drive a few miles and have really good food at a reasonable price. Lots of meat choices. Great chips. Excellent guacamole.
Gabby's is a clean, convenient Mexican Eatery in Lost Hills proper. I found their Chili Verde tasty with a perfect level of heat! It's one of my go-to places when working at the local Area and Chevron oil fields.
What a GREAT stop along the trip! Amazingly good Carnitas plate, fresh, flavorful! Help them out as they have erected a barrier for road work. Take the effort to turn in - eat, enjoy and bless the work of this wonderful familym
Decent Mexican fare on Interstate 5 driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles
Really good restaurant just down the road from all the burger chains. Spotlessly clean with tasty food. We had the salad with chicken and enchiladas with shrimp, plus a portion of nachos and salsa came with the meal. Great value, all freshly cooked, would highly recommend.
Surprisingly, good food and friendly staff. Great pitstop!!!
Got the Carnita Tacos and a beef steak platter. Portions were huge and I particularly enjoyed the tacos. Was served a side of nachos and salsa and it was also really delicious.
what a wonderful experience Blanca thank you very much and your wonderful husband for recommending the chili relleno and two carnitas tacos I am stuffed beyond belief and so pleasantly surprised to find this great Mexican restaurant seemingly in the middle of nowhere but not really just not right off the freeway it was worth the one mile drive or two mile drive what a great family place an incredible clean new building and I cannot say how grateful I am to have found your place I will come back just like we go back to that steak house that I won't mention the name of I think it's Harris I will be here every time when I'm passing through and hungry thank you thank you thank you and get those young men in your family on that social media you guys deserve to have 10 of these places 😁 Gabriel you have an incredible family you are a very fortunate man 😉
Very good street tacos with rice and beans. Covered patio is cool place for lunch. Its a short drive off the I-5. Clean bathroom. 2nd visit. Just as good as last time. Excellet lunch. Well worth the 2 miles from the I-5 if you are travelling through.

This isn't a very obvious place to stop at on your way to SF, but I'm sure glad we did. Come with a big appetite because the servings are a healthy size. I ordered the asada plate. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Will definitely stop here again.
The food is really, really tasty! The portions are huge. I would stop here if you want something better than fast food. I recommend!! I ordered the fries with carna asada and a chimichanga. My husband and I didn’t finish. Oh, and the restrooms are clean.
Junior made great suggestions and took care of us - and my family and I loved our food. Great flavors...and I recommend the street taco with a handmade tortilla! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Every time I have been here it’s been 5 stars. From the Enchiladas to the taco bowls, these ladies know what they’re doing. The flavor is authentic and ingredients are fresh, I feel like I’m eating my abuelas food again. I highly recommend their food when driving to the coast.
This place is great. It’s definitely more on the American style Mexican food side but still really good food for a great price. The whole place is super clean and comfortable. The staff was all super friendly. My vehicle was down for repairs across the street and they let me hang out for four hours while I waited for repairs. Highly recommend if you are traveling through, especially with a large family
Although I do agree with other reviewers saying the guy that takes your order isnt the friendliest. I can look past that because every dish we ordered was amazing and the portions were more than generous. We loved everything from the chips & salsa to the homemade horchata that was served in a huge cup.
Ordered a family platter for my people and got it home to demolish the entire meal for 10. Great deal with great food. Customer service is always great. Even got to judge a pumpkin 🎃 contest. Great family and family friendly environment.
My husband I just stopped here on our way back from the coast and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! The burritos were huge and filled with so much flavor! It was so clean inside and the customer service was top notch. The gentleman that waited on us brought us chips and salsa ( the homemade chips and salsa are to die for)as we waited for our to-go order. Highly recommend
Such a great experience! Junior took our order and was genuinely happy to be working at Gabby’s. Which we always find refreshing. The food was delicious. I had a chicken enchilada and a beef taco. Both were excellent. My husband had a chicken taco which he said was very good. Very pleasant stop on our route home. Don’t wait to go!
Great service, very clean, the young man with the cowboy hat taking orders was very nice and personable. Food came out quick and warm. Caritas was my favorite. Would definitely eat here again.

I have been here a few times and would say the food is pretty good. Nothing I'd go out of the way for but definitely a decent place to stop at if you are already driving by or already in the area and you're hungry. I will say their tortilla chips are pretty good though.
We arrived near closing time. The man at the register was very nice and told us not to worry about the time. Their menu had a large selection of meats for tacos and burritos. They customize each order. The food was fresh and the burritos are large and the prices are reasonable. I had a tongue burrito and my husband had a carnitas burrito.I had to get a to go box.I would recommend this restaurant. It is only 2 miles west of I 5
Great family place to Eat. A friendly environment I ordered a Torta it was pretty decent, my mom ordered tacos I wouldn't recommend those the tortilla was hard and the tacos were not all that great. The chips and salsa on the other hand were very Good! JUST A SMALL COMMENT THE GUY TAKING OUR ORDER CAN SMILE A LITTLE MORE AND BE MORE FRIENDLY:)
Had the pleasure of coming to this oasis in the middle of Californias agricultural desert. Great service and good food. I had asada tacos and a fish taco. Both were delicious. I'll be back when im on my way to Cali Roots. 🤙
Stopped in for a couple carne asada tacos. Good beef flavor, generous portions, and good price. If you are refueling at I-5 and Hwy 41, skip the fast food joints and head about a mole west to Gabby's. It's worth the very minor detour.
Food is fresh. Had a carne asada torta which was delicious. Chips are made fresh. Facility is clean and is nice and cool on a hot day. Good lunch spot.

Great fresh, home made Mexican food. Clean, tasty, and a nice staff. Well worth the 2 mi journey from the freeway, to get away from the big chain restaurants next to the freeway exit.

Service was OK, except that no one working there spoke English. We had to order at the counter, while the next customer ordered at his table, weird! I had the Carne asada taco special, it was just ok, very salty. My husband had a chicken quesadilla, not good! The salsa and chips were good. Closes at 3pm so a very early dinner. Very cold in the restaurant.

Stopped here on the way back to LA on 5/27 at around 1:30pm. If you're looking for authentic taste, this ain't it. I felt everything was off a little. Asada was like shredded meat (soft and stringy). The beans in the burrito tasted like canned beans, maybe too salty. Enchilada sauce was too tomatoe-y. No spice and probably from a can. Maybe catered to the travelers and its ok. 👍 The guy are the register has an unwelcoming blank expression. Doesn't greet, almost seems bothered you are ordering. I'm from the San Fernando Valley where we have amazing Mexican restaurants that are cheaper. I won't stop here next time I drive by. I will try the meat market up the street next time.
No, not good food. Made us all sick pretty quickly. I went off the reviews expecting really good food but honestly it was nothing even average tasting. Chips and salsa where better than the meal. On a positive note they have clean bathrooms
We got six different kinds of meat and they were all bland. One staff member looked drunk, another was annoyed we ordered and he had to cook our food, and another was just standing there complaining about how they were about to close. Idk if me and all the people that rated this place 5 stars ate the same food. But i would not recommend.
Gabbys used to be very good. Unfortunately it no longer us. Pluse the guy who normally takes the orders, is rude and just stares. It's very creepy. It got 2 stars because the place is always very clean and tidy.
Rude window service. Boy seemed upset when we tried asking for clarification on meats available. I ordered the 2 hard shell taco special but was charged for the 3 street tacos (hard shell) but only received 2 tacos. Your sign says you would deliver to our table but same window guy opened the door to tell us our order was ready for us at the window. We are driving through from AZ but won't recommend your establishment.

Customer service has gone down hill; I had not been in a while. Only to confirm what others have told me. The place went to $#!+. Rude guy at counter taking food orders, mexican Peter Griffen. The best advice I have for this Mr. Big time is if you are bigger than Gabby's in Lost Hills then go follow your dreams. Best advice to the owners get that guy away from your customers. Sad can't keep a captive audience with few choices.
I'm sorry but it was my first time coming. Here and it would be my last I order the bisteck ranchero Omg it was horrible no flavor the rice was hard, the meat was blland. The beans had no flavor either ,the tortillas were cold The service was bad my friend order huevos rancheros and they gave him a burrito and when we told them about it they got angry Personality I didn't like this place at all
The gentleman at the cash register couldn't care less, they packaged our order with another group's order for some reason.... food went to them and they touched it, then he gave it to us. When I was ordering I asked numerous times for no beans and made sure they understood. My burrito came with beans and I threw it away. I didn't ask for a refund because the guy was so rude. And we were in a 5 hour drive to get home. Huge waste of money....
Waited 20 minutes for a taco and a burrito before having to leave to meet someone. There were 3 in front of me and two were served in those 20 minutes, and they weren’t large orders. If a restaurant advertises on I5, then I think that there an implied message that they are after the motorist looking for a quick meal. Gabby’s is anything but quick. I hope that they enjoyed our lunch.
