This is our first time in this place, and it won't be our last. The restaurant is inside the Marathon Gas Station. Their award winning Salteñas are simply great! The preparation, the flavors, and the quality of their ingredients makes all the difference. Cimal and Jimena welcomed us like family. We totally loved this place, and definitely recommend it. If you want to experience authentic Bolivian cuisine, just go and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Small place for Bolivian food inside of a gas station. The salteñas are delicious! You can eat in (there are three tables) or take frozen salteñas to cook at home.

We came from far away to eat here. It was great. La comida riquisima! It's a small place but the environment is great, the owners are first class, and the food is delicious. It's busy, so you may have to wait a bit, but it's definitely worth it. We highly recommend it.

Wow, amazing saltenas. The Fricase one was a first for us and it is really good! (Pork) they have chicken and beef as well. Fair prices and great customer service. Call in before ordering your saltenas, pick up location will be different.

Must try! The food was absolutely delicious! The flavors were just like home, very authentic. I highly recommend trying the salteñas, the chicharrón and the peanut soup. They have a good variety of Bolivian dishes. Also, I love their llajua with quirquiña (spicy sauce that goes with everything) it’s very hard to find a place that sells llajua with quirquiña it definitely adds a unique flavor. I’ll be back!

Amazing Bolivian food! Nice to have a piece of home here in Florida. I drove from Orlando for this! I tried their silpancho and their mocochinchi. They were both delicious. The llajua was also perfect. Super friendly staff.

Eating the delicious Salteñas at Chasqui makes you feel you are back home 🏠🥰they offer a variety of Bolivian dishes!. We tried the Salteñas and Mocochinchi (which is a Bolivian beverage, made with peaches that have been peeled and dried) they were so good! Authentic flavors!🤤🤤 the llajua ( a Bolivian hot sauce) was really tasty too! We will definitely be back soon😋😀!

The ONLY Bolivian restaurant in the Greater Tampa Area, and they're good is amazing. I'm so proud of their growth. If you're new to Bolivian food, try a salteña and you'll be hooked.

Excellent food! I am Bolivian and this is as close to home as I can get here in Tampa. We ordered salteñas beef and chicken frozen to cook and eat at home, and it was delicious. Then we ordered for lunch 3 peanut soup, 2 chicharron and 2 silpnacho for 11 people, it was enough food to share between all of us, everything was very tasty, great llajua hot sauce too. Very proud of how far they have come, the first Time i had their food was about 7 years ago at their home, the quality, the service and the owners remains the same and better. Cant wait to try other things from the menu.

The Saltenas are very good. I can't wait to try the Rollo de Queso.

we are so happy that we found saltenas chasqui since it is very hard to find bolivian food in the u.s. unless you are in the virginia area or i am at my cunados (in-laws) house. we ordered saltenas, mocochinchi, and some cheese empanadas for dessert. everything was great, my cubano and gringo friends loved the saltenas which they had never had before. ceemar and his family were very friendly and we enjoyed speaking with them. they have a food truck and are cooking at their home as they are searching for a new location for their store due to flooding from the 2 hurricanes at their old location. we picked up our order at their house. it was a long drive for us, about 50 miles, but it was definitely worth the trip. we will be back and also plan on ordering food for for the holidays. if you have never had a saltena, you are in for a treat. once you have a saltena, you will never want to settle for "just an empanda" again.

Rare bolivian food in the tampa bay area and amazing and unique empanadas. For non-latinos, these are different empanadas than what you'll find elsewhere as they have have a bit of liquid soup in them (kinda/sorta like a latin version of asian soup dumplings). Regardless, the people are great and they have one some local awards for the empanadas. Each one is also filling enough for a meal as a person. We didn't sit; we picked up for lunch. Definitely would come back.

I've never tried Bolivian empanadas before, but I loved these. I will definitely be back. The sopa de mani is good too.

So far have tried the salteñas twice and they are the best ones I’ve had since having them in Bolivia. Definitely going to try their other dishes. It’s a must try for sure if you’re in Tampa.

Wow, absolutely amazing. I had the beef salteñas, gave me flashbacks to when I visited Bolivia. Can't wait to go back and literally try everything. The seasoning and flavor is heavenly and healing. I wish you guys the absolute best, lots of blessings and success.

The owner is always there, and she has a welcoming smile at all times. If you never had a Salteñas before or haven't had one in a while, you're in for a nice treat. Hopefully, the price will drop to make it affordable again. Currently, it is $4.50 per unit.
