11/15/25 @ 1pm Today, the KFC in Lynwood, California truly saved our event. We had originally ordered 260 pieces of chicken from Food 4 Less in Lynwood for a family repass. Unfortunately, due to the severe weather, their power went out and they were unable to fulfill the order. Suddenly, I was left thinking, “What am I going to do?” — with over 100 guests to feed. We called the KFC in Lynwood, and from the moment they answered, they were incredibly accommodating. Despite the last-minute request and the large quantity, the management and staff stepped in with professionalism, kindness, and a willingness to help. They prepared the order quickly and efficiently, turning what could have been a disaster into a blessing. The team at KFC Lynwood went above and beyond, and their phenomenal service made all the difference. We deeply appreciate the management and every worker involved. This, by far was the best KFC locally that I ever visited. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the service was expedient. I will never go back to the two locations closer to my home. I'd prefer to drive a few minutes further for quality A1 service. My dollars were well spent and appreciated at this location. I left a review years ago but I’m updating it now: I’ve been coming here for nearly a decade and worked here during Covid. The staff is doing their best and it’s not their fault at all that service is slow. It also doesn’t help that the clientele has zero tech literacy, so a team member has to stop what they’re doing a hold their hand to use the touch screen. The service is slow because of corporate decisions and not the team itself. If that’s an issue, please go to the new KFC on Firestone. I will continue to come here knowing the flaws this store has and hope they improve.

The food was good. The service in Drive tru ok. The cashier gave us the order but when we we're going to ask for hot sauce she just shut the window and left. My husband wave to and other employee so we could ask for sauce and just ignore us.

The positive: Cashier was super friendly, patient and sweet. She had excellent customer service skills.The reason for the 3 stars is that the floors were super sticky and the food was nothing like it is pictured. Extremely greasy. As for the cashier, I didn't catch her name but she was working there on Sunday Aug.4th at around 7:15pm. 😊

My order has been wrong more than two times here. Its annoying to get home and find out they gave you the wrong food.

The food is good but you have to wait forever for it and then the lady at the window forgets whether she charged you or not because they take so long to get you your food. All I ordered was 4 chicken sandwiches and was there about twenty minutes waiting for my order.

I went to this restaurant July 6, 2019 on a Saturday, and let me tell you this restaurant wasn't very good. Here some things I noticed that it was a small KFC, not many people, and no condiments table. In addition, I noticed that they were promoting a new sandwich the new "cheeto chicken sandwich," which was my meal for the day. First of, the cashier quickly ask me "can I help you." Which it's ok. I bought my sandwich. In the meanwhile, I was observing the restaurant more. They had a outlet to connect any electronic device, I was in disbelief not many restaurants have that. Soon after like 4 minutes later they told me my food is almost ready. I was in shocked when they told me that, In fact I thought the meal was hot. Also, they didn't offer me condiments when I received my meal. The lady was in a rush when she gave me my meal. Nevertheless, my meal wasn't good it warm but to warm. To best describe the sandwich it simply a chicken sandwich, (that you could buy for a dollar and change) with 5 piece of cheese cheetos, (that's I could buy for 59 cents, at any liquor store) and hot sauce. (which you could get free at KFC.) Lastly, no napkins in the bag, they didn't offered me, or outside the counter. Big no no please give customers napkins.

First of all let me start by sayin this I was so angry because I didn’t want to stop at that particular one because I was taking my friend to inland Empire last week we stopped over there got her a couple of pieces of chicken and a drink before we made it to the 605 freeway she was sick so I took her straight to the hospital in the inland Empire and they said that she was salmonella poisoning. I was back there because of my brother he has stage four liver cancer so I tried to keep him satisfied but after I went into the drive-through someone had a very bad attitude and this was at 415 p.m. Central time so I parked the car and came in the kiosk machine was not working well so now I asked for help there is two gentlemen sitting in the dining area they were very angry because there were bucks flying around ness or something I don't truly know and there was absolutely no air condition in the building when is well over 80° outside so when getting inside of KFC it's hot now I'm thinking to myself do I want to get this food for my brother because I know or I'm assuming that employees are now sweating on my brothers food I have more to say but I'm gonna close it here because I'm getting angry why is there a on the wall and the employees can't even enjoy what they're doing. Whenever I get a job I try my best to enjoy therefore my time goes by quickly sometimes I don't even wanna leave my job I wanna stay at work and with that being said not employees happy and satisfied as well customers? I have more to say but I'm closing now I'm very very angry because I didn't get my brother anything and I don't have a car now because the parking is so bad I had to go park my car somewhere get out and walk to find my brother some food thank you KFC for nothing

I went over to kfc Lynwood and ordered over the drive through and I had to go back again because they got my order wrong and then one of the workers she was black gave me attitude and raised her voice at me and then a lady a big fat lady that wasn’t even in uniform came over from the kitchen and started yelling at me to worst experience ever

If i could give them no stars i would. Worst place if you’re in a rush. They take forever to take your order and it looks like the employees don’t care if people are waiting in line. Most of the time orders are wrong. I was here on Sunday November 24th and it took more than 20 minutes just to order a $5 combo.

I went to the drive thru and waited five minutes for a employee to say something then had to go inside to order after waiting in a long line my wife and I got to the register ready to order the employee said I'll help you in a second and walked away. We waited for five minutes again the she told another employee to help us when she could have did it before going to help with food we were the last customers in line. This location works really slow On weekends even the drive-thru is packed, I've seen employees trying to keep up but maybe the managment is really bad. Wow, we just paid $21 for eight pieces of chicken. Are you serious? I understand they need to pay their bills but when half the people in this country are making $15 or less per hour, I just don't see how they're going to stay in business at these prices. Church's chicken is good if you get the spicy and they are a whole lot cheaper.

I went through the drive thru today, it wasn't busy. I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches, headed to the window and got asked to repeat my order all over again. Then I was told to wait in the parking lot. 30 min passed, I head inside the store and I am told they are still waiting on the chicken. How long does it fking take to "heat it up". Very bad service.

I went to drive thru and ordered 8pc chicken only at 5:10pm . I was told they don't have any chicken and it would be a 45 min wait... Now, this is my question, what chicken place don't have any chicken???? DUH

I came today at 9:15pm through the drive-thru, and the lead or supervisor told me that they were out of mashed potatoes, and breast chicken . I've asked her if the wings were fresh, and she told me that the wings were sitting there for 15 or 20 minutes. I asked her to please make me fresh chicken wings and thighs, she told me that she is not frying anymore fresh chicken . This is very unacceptable to me, and very bad customer service . Please don't come to this KFC , I would recommend going to the KFC in Downey.

I wish I would have read the reviews first!! After rerouting myself because I was craving KFC I get to the location an hour before there "closing" time to get told they are only serving Cole Slaw and Mash Potatoes!! Obviously it's due to staff wanting to leave early and not cooking anymore!! They might as well close early like all the other locations near by and update it on Google! I ordered a 5 piece chicken tenders combo with fries and Cole slaw for my sides after returning home I opened box they didn't give me my fries. And they gave me 3 tenders and two little pieces of chicken both of them together didn't equal a tender.

I asked for a little extra korean barbecue sauce on the side and was met with dumbfounded looks, after waiting for over half an hour at the drive thru, finally got my food only to receive overcooked, dry food and Carina; the manager, provided extremely unprofessional and hostile customer service. Additionally, this may not be the manager's name because when I asked for the manager's name they said that they are not allowed to provide names and after this confrontation they gave a name out randomly but only after the fact. If there was a possibility I would rate this establishment two zeroes out of 5.

You got to be careful with the food you try to oder you might get hair in your mac and chess or cold slaw and if you don't go in and order your food from the inside you will sometime get a dry out chicken or over cook chicken

Came to the drive-thru with my husband and kids. Started ordering and the lady clearly got frustrated by my husband trying to get our kids the order "chicken tenders". She raised her voice and very rudely said its "OK NO ITS NOT CHICKEN TENDERS, ITS TENDERS!"... b*t*ch.. how does this business even allow someone so rude to work here. The audacity to be so rude and not even consider the fact that she's on speaker and even kids can hear her. Well... lesson to our kids and to us.. we don't have to put up with any rude service. We left. Not wasting our money here. Hope they learn to hire decent employees who won't get mad just because we are trying to order some chicken tenders... or what else are they if not chicken? Came into the restaurant and ordered my food. At 6:23pm on January 6, 2023....sat and waited and after 15 minutes I was informed that it would be another 7 minutes for the biscuits. Well it is 6:44 and I and am still waiting for my food. No complimentary soda offered for waiting that long. When I finally got everything they had to go to the back and get butter. Then another employee accidentally knocks the tray of biscuits on the floor. Needless to say, I won't be going back there.

Entirely too slow for a fully staffed location. Only 2 people ahead of me in line and it took 15 minutes for them to take my order because after each dine in the worker at the register stops to help with the drive through and then it takes them about 15 minutes per walk in customer for them to get their food. Thats a 30 minute wait per person. While the staff if friendly they don't move like they like their jobs at all and its clear they don't want to be there.

I love KFC and always order from the one in Downey on Florence and only decided to come to this place because I was hungry and they were the only KFC open late .....I should have gone with my instinct since last time I came to this location the chicken tasted funny however I said maybe just maybe this time the chicken will be good and different cook or something but hell no the chicken was worst than last time and uncooked I am now really sick and have food poisoning or something never come here again

Worst service. Sabrina - cashier, was rude while I was ordering. Was rushing me to ordered. Didn’t have breast for my 4 orders. She told me it will take 20 min. I ended up waiting about 35 min. This is not the first time I have this issues with Sabrina. I can keep complaining but it will be longer. I just hope some one will do something about giving good service and make sure you have enough chicken so customers don’t have to wait so long. I’ve been coming to this location for 25 years. Now I will have to drive extra miles to buy my meals. By the way. I asked to speak to the manager, Rude Sabrina was the manager... how sad!

There service is TERRIBLE!!! They charged me $23 for 4 piece meal and 3 piece chicken tenders. I got home and my order was wrong !!!! 1 piece chicken meal. I called and Daisy was rude. She kept insisting that's what I ordered.at the end she offered me to go pick up the meal. SERIOUSLY!!!! I'm about to cancel my charge through my bank.

The cashier lady helped a customer in line ahead of me and I was the last person in line... instead of the cashier taking my order she insisted on mumbling I’ll help you in a second without making eye contact... then she walked away from the cashier to help her other 5 coworkers cook... I waited over 5 minutes she never came back to take my order... instead of her coming back to take my order & apologize for the LONG wait time, she told her busy coworker to take my order! HOW RUDE?!! They need to work on their customer service skills as this is fast food!! Very disappointed! I do NOT recommend you place you’re order here! Take the drive to another KFC!!!

Do not even bother to come to this location worse customer service ever the drive thru takes forever to take your order plus the cashier is so rude never again . They didn’t even get my order right and I get it working in customer service can be very stressful and frustrating at times . It doesn’t take a lot to just take a simple order when there’s no line in the drive thru . I had a terrible experience at this KFC location. I went through the drive-through during my lunch break and didn’t realize until I was back at work that I received the wrong order. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return right away since I didn’t have time for another trip to the KFC location. I tried calling 3 times to let them know about the mistake—not a single answer. Since I wasn’t able to come back until after work (5 hours later), I tossed the food, I would have ate the order but it was nothing close to what I had offered. Which was a pie when I had ordered tenders. When I finally made it back, I showed Manager Daisy a photo of the incorrect food with my receipt as proof, but she did not care at all and refused to refund me or offer me the right order because I didn’t have the food. It had obviously been sitting out all day—what was I supposed to do? Hold onto spoiled food just to prove their mistake? As someone who has worked in customer service, I am super understanding when mistakes happen—I know how busy and stressful it can get. But what really disappointed me was the complete lack of care and effort to make things right. A simple apology and a reasonable solution would have gone a long way. To make things worse, KFC’s online support is useless—their AI chatbot just kept repeating that no agent was available to help after I called location multiple times. This location needs better customer service and accountability. Answer your phones, own up to your mistakes, and train your staff to care about customers. Manager: Daisy Do better, KFC.

Ordered on the kiosk. 2pc meal. Should've been $5 + tax. However, totaled to $8.49. I selected cash as payment. The cashier said it's $9.49. I informed him the price on the screen , he said it didn't include tax. I said if it's a $5 meal and the price is $8.49 isn't that the tax. This place is absolutely horrible. The first time I ate here in 2020 I had eaten a biscuit and threw up from eating it. I don't know if it was cause it tasted bad or it made me sick maybe both but then I came here a second time during 2023. Let me tell you this was on Thanksgiving of 2023 when this happened. I had ordered chicken I don't know which one specifically but I had ate it. The food didn't taste bad but it was really dry. After I had ate the food I wasn't feeling good and had to throw up. I had thrown up everything I ate. I had got food poisoning from here twice in a 3 year span. The food poisoning had lasted 2 weeks and I was throwing up, having trouble breathing, coughing, sneezing, immense pain, and diarrhea. This is the worst food I have ever ate in my life. I will never go to any KFC again.

I always say I'm not going back here but I give it try again. This place is terrible. The chicken always over over cooked. People in hurry home from work want to get a meal for dinner and to get this nasty food. Always a disappointment at this locatin

Nasty. The gravy is watery, the breading on the chicken is falling off and really greasy, and the mashed potatoes have no flavor because of the added water.
