After a day in Macugnaga, we had lunch at this beautiful restaurant!! There were 15 of us, including 7 children and 8 adults. We ate wonderfully: excellent dishes, tasty, generous portions, and above all, great value!! Excellent value! Highly recommended!
It's a welcoming place...personally when I come to Macugnaga I always book here, the food is good, the staff is always friendly and the prices are more than fair...top tip

We chose this restaurant tonight, and it was a wonderful discovery! The lady who served us was helpful and smiling. The dishes were well-prepared and well-prepared. I had a vegetable soup with crostini and a sliced steak with herb sauce, really good! I'm reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend this family-friendly place! P.S. I'm picky, and this restaurant completely satisfied me.
The bread is delicious, generous portions, cooked just like grandma used to make, she's so good...but the desserts are out of this world, with prices you'll hardly find in other restaurants. The location is a bit dated, but it exudes the warmth you need after a trip to the mountains. Well done!
Great place. I had lunch here for the first time. I had pasta alla macugnaghese and scaloppine alla macugnaghese. Both dishes were excellent, well-prepared, and tasty. The portions were adequate/abundant. The cheese used in the dishes was delicious. Very friendly and professional staff. The price was fair, not expensive. We'd happily return.

I had a delicious meal here, and it wasn't expensive! Even though I wasn't exactly the easiest customer (I had all sorts of questions and specific requests), the service was very friendly. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a cozy restaurant!

An excellent, hearty lunch. The very kind staff welcomed us without rushing us, even though the kitchen was closing. This is not something you'll take for granted these days. The polenta and mushrooms, sausage and venison were all excellent, and the first courses were good too. The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but that's fine. The price is reasonable, not excessive.
Every time we come to Macugnaga, we always stop here for lunch. Thank goodness it's reopened! Excellent food, a wide selection, and friendly, efficient staff. Our *MOUNTAIN RESTAURANT*! WELL DONE! 🙂👍♥️
We only had dinner there one evening in a setting that can be described as familiar and very welcoming. Good food, simply prepared, with generous portions. The staff were quick and very friendly, the owner was friendly, and the quality/price ratio was good.

Rustic, no frills restaurant with hearty, home-cooked local fare, at reasonabke prices. We had polenta with game and mushrooms, really delicious.
Very kind, they welcomed our large dog without a problem and reserved a table for us in a secluded spot. We only tried the polenta, which was very good; we'll be back.

Three waitresses were doing nothing at the entrance and when we asked "do you have room inside for three with a dog" they said "yes of course". Then a senior waitress stepped in, looked at our Golden Retriever and said "do you have a reservation, because we are fully booked". She was evidently lying.
