I love this place. They have both indoor & outdoor seating. I like the outdoor most.
I work in downtown Tempe but like to write in my free time. This is an ideal place to spend my lunch doing that and it’s just a five minute walk away. Love the peaceful patio, the waterfall fountain, the coffee and the food. The staff are super friendly as well.
Watched Jason's video...owner is so so sweet! Just placed an order of coffee beans to NYC, if I am ever in area I will deff come in for coffee and sweets. It was such a pleasant interaction , she has positive vibes and I wish her lots of business ! Support local businesses ! 🤩
This is the place to get coffee. . Very popular spot. The coffee is so good you’re gonna want to buy some grounds to go. . they also have a website. Friendly service. Will go again!
A small, cute coffee spot tucked away and slightly hidden near Mill Ave — the kind of place you might miss if you’re not looking for it. Service is genuinely great: friendly, patient, and welcoming. Coffee is good, and the pastries are fresh and nicely presented, making it a solid stop for a casual coffee break or breakfast. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. That said, the interior could feel a bit cozier. The white walls combined with the exposed steel appliances give the space a more industrial feel, which doesn’t quite match the warm, intimate vibe the café seems to be aiming for. A change in wall color or softer finishes would make a big difference. When I visited, they were experiencing issues with the coffee machine. The staff handled it very kindly and professionally, but it did affect waiting time and efficiency — especially considering there were only a couple of customers at the time.
Super cute coffee shop hidden away on a peaceful patio. The location is amazing for a study/work spot or grabbing to go to walk around and sip. Love that it’s family owned but the wife could smile or give a more welcoming vibe. :) Could hide more of the back storage area, add some more charming decor, and it’s perfect!
Checked out this coffee shop after going to a yoga class at the studio in the same complex. It's in a very cute location, off of the main road in a little plaza, and perfect for an after yoga treat. We were greeted right when we walked in and the person working at the counter (I think it was the owner) was very nice. He gave us a heads up that he was running a little behind but he would get our drinks out as soon as possible. That being said, I feel like we didn't have to wait too long. It was just him working but eventually another person joined and it started going much quicker. I got the chai tea since I don't like coffee and it was really good. I like that this place is organic. I also wanted to get some alfajores cookies but they were already sold out around 10am. I'll have to come back earlier next time! The person who took our order said his wife makes the filling fresh every morning. There were just a few small tables to sit at inside and outside.
I only popped by because I really needed a coffee. I couldn't help noticing the great atmosphere! Nevertheless, I took my coffee to go. It was plenty hot, and it was SO GOOD, uncommonly rich and flavorful. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I'm going back!
Best cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time - went back for seconds and then tried their iced coffee the next day - was like a coffee milkshake - amazing - no bitterness - all robust flavor - loved this place - organic and family run - don’t miss out! Will be ordering beans for home.
Lovely coffee shop! I really appreciate that they're open until 7 PM unlike other coffee shops on Mill Ave. Great tucked away location to get some work done or go to for a mid work day pick me up. Their empanadas are authentic and very good, they include egg, meat, olives and cooked onions. Their almond croissant is very good too. Most importantly, their coffee is great. Very friendly staff and fair pricing.
What a great coffee shop! It looks like families come and go- the garden area is a great place to drink a cup of coffee. After reading some reviews, I tried the empanadas and I would definitely recommend getting one!
Gio's hands down has the best coffee I have had in the Valley. Her coffee is grown on a family farm in Peru and the passion behind it all is genuinely felt in each cup. Gio herself is a sweetheart and gives off such great vibes. 10/10 highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee/ pastries.
Coffee shop is located in a location in a little shopping center with a courtyard, off of 5th St and Mill - coffee is great and the folks running it (and owning it) are very nice. I just get the Americano (hot), in the morning and it is always great and their iced coffee, which I have tried, is also very good. My favorite part of this place is that the patio has plants and waterfalls and is super peaceful - just a little bit of Zen right off of Mill and as I bicycle there, there is parking for bicycles (I part right outside). They also have some lovely looking empanadas, that I don't think you will find at any other coffee shops, in the area. Both beef and ham and cheese ones (I try not to eat in the morning so have not tried them, but someday). They open at around 7:30 on Mon thru Friday and around 9 am on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday.
Great little location. I was really hoping for good coffee. But they unfortunately don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to espresso. Undrinkable. I prefer to support independent businesses but in this case it’s just not a place I recommend if you care about coffee quality.
