Había buen ambiente, algo deportivo pero también había buena música. Llegamos aquí porque queríamos beber y platicar y aunque al inicio había mucho ruido, nos fuimos ambientando y con dos promociones de cerveza y chupito (tequila) fue suficiente para ser felices. Lo mejor fue la caminata de vuelta al hostal, qué divertido.

Lo que más destaca es su atmósfera inmejorable: desde el primer paso te envuelve esa calidez de madera clásica, buena música en directo y el mejor ambiente deportivo. Toda la vida viniendo aquí y no he puesto una reseña... imperdonable Para mí el mejor local de la zona...música,ambiente, decoración,calidad de bebida y comida...no hay ningún pero...y los dueños pues para mí gente de calidad humana de 10..de los que no quedan ya... Así que no dudes en venir,dejar tus problemas a un lado y desconectar en el mejor sitio posible

Nos sentimos muy bien atendidos desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Los platillos estaban llenos de sabor y la presentación impecable. Gracias al equipo por crear una experiencia tan completa y agradable.

Se trata de un pub Irlandés, en el que podrás vivir un momento mágico, ambiente muy agradable, con una música excelente para los clientes, tienen de todo tipo de cerveza, incluidos todos sus sabores, para que tu paladar se sienta lo más feliz. También para las personas que vayan a este pub, si son extranjeros de lengua inglesa, les pueden atender perfectamente, ya que allí saben ingles. Este pub lo recomiendo sin duda alguna, volveré. Mis 5 estrellas las tienen más que de sobra ganadas.

Excelente servicio muy buenas la experiencia la comida caliente y bien hecha al punto, el servició 10/10 muy atentos y lo más importante aseados y bien presentados y un ambiente súper cool con música y luces de ambiente bien bonitas y temática navideña super bien elaborado.
A great experience! We felt very good in this pub from the moment we arrived until we left. They have a great selection of beers, and the dishes tasted quite good, . A cool place to go at night after a long day.
What a find! O'Connell St has such a unique personality. I loved the international feel and the cozy, authentic decor. A huge thank you to the lovely staff who made us feel right at home—their recommendations from the massive beer list were perfect. It’s the best spot in town to unwind with a pint after a long day. We saw the Spain-Italy game in the 2024 Euro and the vibe was insane! Paid 10 Eur for entrance with a welcome drink. We came 1 hour early to grab a place to sit.
A perfect bar to hang out with friends to catch up a game of football with few beers. The place has a WiFi which makes up for lack of network inside the place. The place offers a great variety of drinks and food. If you're planning to watch a big game with a group, I advise you to go early (start drinking early) so that you can get a place to sit because the place will be packed otherwise. Music can get a little loud if you're closer to speakers but I believe I'm that rare person who doesn't like loud music!
My all time favourite place to go to in madrid! It has tables and chairs so you can relax having a pint after work as well as good music not too loud so you can have a nice conversation with your friends wothout losing your voice! Lovely stuff.. cant wait to go again!

This bar is amazing for soccer nights, there is a fantastic atmosphere with nice servers. I recommend. What’s more I lost my phone in the bar, and when I came back the boss gave it back to me.
Un bar bastante común, con una pequeña terraza y muy atrapa turistas. Las tapas son precio de turista. Nos sentamos con ganas de picar algo pero no estoy dispuesta en pagar tapas a más de 10€ El personal es muy amable, el local muy tradicional, pero los precio de pleno sol. 😂 entendible. Mi error fue ir a un sitio tan turístico. Pero vivo en el centro no hay de otra.
El sitio está bien, pero olvidate de tomar café. Sí es un irlandés, pero dan comidas y cenas, me parece muy raro que no sirvan cafés. Por lo demás, es un sitio para ver partidos y pasar el rato, bastante bien.

This Irish pub is ideal if you are a looking for a venue to watch an Irish sporting fixture. We went in for an Ireland v Italy six nations match and we got good seating, a big screen and a nice crowd for a good atmosphere. I wouldn't say there is anything authentically Irish about the place but a lot of the time a pub like this is for watching sport and for that it is ideal. The only downside was the insistence of playing absolutely deafening dance music during half time in the match and instantly the game was over. It was way too much and we left straight after the game.
Great place to have some beer and watch football, gives free chips with beer and its possible to get a free shot with promo card, tho one evening we had to leave, since staff was just gone..but other two evenings everything was super fast, so dunno, maybe bad timeing that evening.
Visited this pub before I left for California as I was aching for a pint of Guinness and wouldn't be able to stop by Dublin on the way. Definitely ran into Irish people while there and they had the races playing while my friend and I escaped the sweltering heat in the shade of the oaken room. If you're in Madrid and are looking for fellow English speakers, always try the Irish pubs first.

El lugar está genial, amplio, cuando sabe haber partidos los pasan .. gran cantidad de pantallas . Pero cuando se llega, el servicio disminuye bastante. Solo pude ver dos mozos y la barra colápsada de gente . Cuando intenté pedir comida, me dijeron que estaban colapsadla y no tomaban más pedidos. La cerveza carísima 6 euros (todas). Los baños estaban horribles de sucios.
Agradable pub irlandés. No me gustó nada el intento de cobrarnos la entrada a 15 euros por persona! Al decirles que no pagábamos y cuando ya nos íbamos, se miraron uno al otro de la puerta y dijeron que podíamos pasar! El sitio está bien, la música también, los precios un poco elevados.

La bebida muy cara, 6 euros una cerveza, la comida escasa y cara; servicio malo de los camareros. Que sin pedir cuenta estando sentado te la sirven, como si te echarán del lugar. Y el ambiente si no hay irlandeses o ingleses va bien la cosa
Average bar, their tequila is actually awful though. They appear to use the cheapest lowest quality TequIla they can buy, the special kind which burns your insides. Be wary.
We had a cheesecake, brownie and 3 colas. Cheesecake had a lot of cheese (not cream cheese, actual cheese that was melted) which was strange. Brownie was nice. Total was 26 euros. Went to double check by getting another cola (257ml), which was 5 euros. They don’t have a menu for the drinks, which is quite typical if you go somewhere in the center. Very expensive for what you get. Vibe is good if you like the ‘Irish pub’ style. It wasn’t very clean. However, they broadcast sports which is good. Big screens and you can see from anywhere.

Disastrous experience at this bar. While we were sitting peacefully last night, part of the ceiling collapsed right above us, hitting us directly! I was struck in the upper back by a beam, and my friend was hit on the head. We managed to run outside to take shelter. Not a single apology from the staff, let alone any serious handling of the situation. My jacket is torn and unusable—how can I at least be reimbursed for that, not to mention the physical and psychological damage caused?
