I was there recently to pick up a togo order and the waitress I believe her name was Megan was absolutely wonderful. She showed me so much hospitality and she was just a delight to be around. We ended up talking for about 5 minutes and it was definitely a pleasure to be greeted with so much kindness. The food was AMAZING, I had the Volcanes La Santa and it was perfect! Definitely will be coming here again!
Great Mexican flavor, service is perfect and not super busy. The free charro bike to start are delicious. Love this place! Edit: I've gotten takeout from this location twice recently, the Rib Eye tacos, and both times, the meat had way too much fat. Please do better or charge less.
Absolutely enjoyed the whole experience as a whole and would definitely recommend for a first date, family outing, and more. Samantha M. Was the bomb and I totally loved how quick she was!
I'm so glad they built another location. This was one of my favorite places to come to when I was pregnant. We always get their freshly made chips and fresh gucamole. It is to die for. You can taste the love put into it and not gonna lie the hot fresh chips taste like fritos. We absolutely love their tacos, my favorite is their Barbacoa, norteno style. Freaking packed with flavor in each bite leaving you coming back for more. We had phenomenal service. Bigotes now has waitresses that wait on you. No more having to order at the counter. Overall the food and service were fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Some of the best street tacos in the area. Authentic size and flavours. Great location for watching sports as well as they have several TV’s inside.
Food is usually always good not really any bad choices on the menu but you can't heat the street tacos. Service is hit or miss depending on the waiter. Some seem to just ignore you others actually pay attention. But the green sauce is amazing..
This restaurant is awesome! My husband, sister-in-law, and I ate there tonight and the food could not have been better. Our server, Brenda, was so friendly and also knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions. We will definitely go back soon!
This is our first time at this location. We were immediately greeted. I gave it a high rating because we were just there to take out. They gave us an estimate of 15 minutes for our order and it was pretty accurate. We ordered the quesabirria and birria ramen. The only issue I had was that all the tables that were not occupied were all dirty either with food crumbs or plates/cups still on the tables. One table still had the cleaner spray bottle on it. There were only 3 tables occupied by guests so it's not like it was super busy and the tables that did have people seated was only 2 people per table.
👏🏻🌟 It is extremely pleasant to be able to see a business, such a special place, grow and keep getting better in every way! The only thing that remains the same is the kindness of these wonderful human beings, who run it and the entire team that makes this place so great and special! Well, it's one of my favorite places, by the way, in all locations! I highly recommend it to everyone who likes quality, simplicity and comfort, great times! 🥰¡Muchas gracias por el cariño y la atención! ¡La comida sabe maravillosa! ¡Estaba encantado! ¡Hasta pronto seguro!🫣Mis disculpas, mi español no es muy bueno!
What a great stop. Our waitress Vivi was absolutely the best. This is a stop you won’t regret!
The food is always fresh, and the service is always on point! The chips are smaller than average, so no need to break them (or double-dip) and both the salsa and green sauce are really tasty! The Mexican bowl allows you to customize your dish, which is nice. And the habanero onions are divine!
Delicious, first time there. The food is very good. I went with my family for dinner. We're not from Texas. When we go back, this is a place we have to go eat at. Instead of chips and salsa, you get charro beans. They were really good. The beans do have some spice, so not everyone can eat them.
Bigotes Restaurant is a true hidden gem in Arlington! The food tastes like home—authentic Tex-Mex with huge portions at unbeatable prices. The breakfast tacos and chilaquiles are must-tries, and the all-you-can-eat tacos and enchiladas are worth every penny. The vibe is warm, casual, and family-friendly, with staff that make you feel right at home. If you’re craving real Tex-Mex flavor without the frills, Bigotes is the spot!
The food was very good, the Bigote Street tacos were delicious, and Alexa service was excellent and very attentive.
I absolutely love this restaurant. I’ve ordered from here several times and it is amazing every time, definitely my go to for quick delicious, authentic Mexican food for myself and my family. I’d add photos but I ate all my food before I could grab a photo
Today was our first time here and we were totally satisfied with everything! First of all, a lady that appears to be the manager or the owner listened our questions, noticed that it was our first time there and took the time to explain dishes and even gave us a sample! Everyone there was polite and gentle. The cleanliness of the place was spot-on! Everyone was wearing gloves and masks properly. Then it comes the food. They have a big variety of Mexican meats for tacos and lot of other options among dishes and breakfast. Our favorites were the al pastor and the cochinita, so tasty! All the ingredients were fresh. They have a sample of their famous charro beans that definitely will make you go back for more. Great outdoor space and indoors with a nice colorful decor. We had a minor misunderstanding with our order, but it was promptly solved without any problem. We will definitely go back and recommend everyone to stop by and try it!
Loved the food here it’s very authentic definitely had that Hispanic taste to their delicious food rich in flavor ! Their rice is a bit undercooked so maybe choose a different side . It’s a bit pricey but definitely quality food ! The restaurant is always clean . As soon as we have better Texas weather we will definitely enjoy dining outdoors .
Bigotes is one of my go-to Mexican street taco spots, especially if you like good food and sports. They’ve always got plenty of TVs going with different games on, so it’s a solid place to hang out, eat, and catch whatever’s on. I usually like to bounce around the menu and try a bunch of different things, and honestly, Bigotes never lets me down. This visit I went with the quesabirria tacos, and they absolutely hit — flavorful, cheesy, and just straight-up good. You can tell they don’t cut corners with the food. Shoutout to Morgan, the bartender who took care of us. She was awesome — super attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly the whole time. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I’ll definitely keep coming back and trying more of the menu.
Sat at the bar with Morgan and had an amazing time :) thank you for the service. Also unrelated but placing screens in your entry way that people can order food and select a “for here” option is unfair to your servers. Just saying ordering Togo food on a screen already hurts them enough because There is no human interaction anymore and no reason to tip them, but letting a guest come in and order their food on his screen then sit down and Expect service when they ordered there food from a touch screen on their own is going to ruin your servers tips and make them not want to give the service I’m use too
Tacos are always top notch ! Meats are well seasoned , definitely good place to eat ! Pork, beef ,barbacoa are a good choice to get ! Its a sports bar so its not a quiet place , very casual. Service is always friendly. Don't skip the desert . Tres Leche is delicious 😋!
Sadly I was there to pick up for delivery so I haven't been able to sample the food yet. Tonight was the fist I'd ever heard of this restaurant and anyone that knows me will tell you I live for tacos, so I can't wait! I mean the food smelled amazing, so that's signs ot has to be good! The restaurant gives off a few great vibes. Sports Bar, there is a screen anywhere you turn your head! Home type hangout, and a neich play on character's!! Staff is awesome, fast, and friendly. See you soon Bigotes!!
Omg these are the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had! I only came in to get a beer so I could stop my shakes, the bartender Morgan suggested that I might need a beer but what I really needed in life was a famous Tacos Bigote, after she explained all it had to offer I had to say YES, it was the best decision of my life after that day I gave my life to Christ and I’m a born again Christian. These tacos saved me from my alcoholism. And Restored my faith in the healing of good food. Thank you, Morgan and thank you Bigotes Street Tacos.
We loved it! My wife and I stopped in for lunch today and we’re glad we did. The free beans were delicious and I could make a meal of them. Melanie was our Server and she was hustling all over the place. I got the street tacos (2 chicken, 3 beef) and they tasted great. Nice little spicy kick to them but nothing crazy. My wife had the Tacos a la Diabla and she was very pleased. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. We’ll definitely be back! Keep up the great work Bigotes Street Tacos!
Amazing restaurant and sports bar. Many TVs on the wall showcasing different sports and a nice selection of drinks from the bar. Atmosphere is relaxed with music playing in the background and food comes out quick. Staff is very friendly and the tacos and charro beans are delicious. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND ordering online... They are saying 19.99 for tacos on the internet but when you go inside they are only $9.99.
This is a great option for authentic Mexican food. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful. The service was good and the place looks very clean. We ordered some Tacos and they were overall really tasty. The tortilla was soft and thick. The ground beef was a little dry I would've prefer it juicer. We also got Pozole. It wasn't my favorite. I didn't like the taste, it was bland. They offer different variety of condiments to complement your meal. The menu was varied and the prices were a little high. I would go back and try something else.
1st time customer and will be coming back for more. The flour tortilla tasted awesome with the meats of my chosing. I ordered a meal (which came with 4 tacos), I got 2 different meats with one of the specialties options they have. The meat and ingredients were great, good flavor, and just enough to fill you up for lunch. The horchata tasted homemade. Great place, with plenty of seating inside and out.
Had a good lunch here. Reasonable pricing, everything tasted fresh. Nice atmosphere. I just think the meat I had tasted underspiced or just not spiced to my liking.
Service and atmosphere is great. Food was delicious, but the portion/size of the tacos are too little. Could add a little more meat to make it worth what they charge. Had the street tacos, fajita, and agua fresca. Green salsa just adds flavor, no spice at add but the red sauce had a good kick. Not too spicy, just added good taste. Only reason rating a 4 star is the amount of meat in the tacos could be improved for the money. Service and wait times was not as bad, place was halfway full inside.
Went here for lunch, sat outside and enjoyed our various Birria dishes. My boyfriend had the Birria Tacos and I had the Birra Torta. Both excellent. The Horchata it extremely sweet, but I am not complaining it had really good flavor. Worth checking out, you will need to bring your patience tho, because the servers seemed overwhelmed, although they were very sweet and welcoming.
The tacos are pretty good. They always seem to find a way to annoy me. One time it's bringing Diet Coke rather than Coke Zero, twice. Another time I don't love the breakfast sausage. The red sauce is super hot although the takeout portion of it and the green sauce are only enough for one of your tacos. The corn tortillas are amazing though! We used to love the original food truck but we find this brick and mortar kinda myeh.
For the price I think there are better options. Would likely spend over $20 per person if I ordered drinks. Food is ok, not great. Regular size agua fresca for $6.99 and large for $11.99 is excessive. Good parking.
Music is always so loud that you have a hard time hearing those at your table. It is so uncomfortably loud. Waitresses are always very friendly but none of them check on the tables and refill drinks. We come here several times a month and we've never had a waitress that refilled our drinks without us having to wave them down. They take your order and then you don't see them again until they bring out your food. If service was improved and the music was at a comfortable level Id give 5 stars.
Place was OK...4 flour taco combo.. no drink included... was 9.99 choice two styles (2 of each) Came with a small cup of beans... hot and flavorful. I picked chorizo and al pastor, $9.99. Flavor was bold and good, meat was rather dry... required all the sauce red/green and lime they gave to juice it up. Outside seating was large and spacious. 90% of the tables were covered in trash when I came in. No community or outside trash cans in sight. So... verdict... flavor A; music+outside seating A+; dry meat, customer friendliness C-; trash, dirty tables D-... i would still go back, they have potential.
I got some street tacos to go, with the fajita meat. And the fajita meat tasted burnt and very dried. I was super disappointed. Especially Since street tacos are in their name. Even though I was so hungry, I couldn’t even finish it. But the short time I was there to pick it up, the staff was really nice and gave me extra limes when I asked for some.
Food is amazing but don't like the staff. They can be short and rude, if you dont like your job then look for another one but having a bad attitude ruins the customers experience. That alone can drive clients to not return.
Average spot at best. While the atmosphere is cool and lots of TVs to watch sports, the service and food wasn't great. The chips were decent but the salsa lack flavor and seemed to need garlic and especially salt. This carried on to the street tacos as well while the quesobirria were much better. Service was t great despite being hardly anybody there as had to go get refills at bar as staff didn't come around. On a side note, the outdoor picnic tables are fairly uncomfortable so would either sit inside or at the cushioned outdoor bar seats.
Last week i went in for tacos and waited over 30 minutes and when the food was brought to me it was the wrong order so had to wait another 8-10 minutes. Today my husband and I went in to order tacos and waited 45 mins noticed people who came in after us was being served so got up to check on our order and apparently it was erased. I recommend the Kirkendall location this location has messed up on several occasions and won’t be going back!
To be honest, my husband and I loved this place before the "sports bar" change. We liked the atmosphere better before. I feel like they should've focused more on opening early enough for people to stop and get their breakfast tacos for breakfast than completely changing the environment. It's too late now, a lot of money got poured into the "upgrades". Not to mention, it's kinda small for a "sports bar".
This place was good at some point. First time I game it was great. Second it was okay. Third time sucked, threw that up too a bad night. Nope, came back again because the taco truck down the road is outdoor and it was raining and I had my 1 year old with me. They had a server for a full house, singular, a server. The man behind the register just kind of stood there. My order was wrong, my sons fries were undercooked, the flavor just wasn’t there. I understand the wait time due to packed restaurant. That being said, I waited maybe 3-4 minutes for someone to come to the table, the server asked about a couple that came in before me, the man at the register shook his head and waved her off and says they’re fine, they haven’t been here that long. Again, they were there and seated before I ever walked in. Had it not been for fussy hungry baby I would’ve left. I’ll stick with the taco truck to go next time.
This place was so good when it opened! The food quality has gone down & I can’t ever seem to get my food made properly, I think you guys need to take notes from the previous owners. It definitely feels like the business was sold and totally different now. (In a bad way) nortenos comes with cheese & avocado. Why do I never get cheese? The girls that have worked the front forever are still awesome!
NOT Mexican food at all … atmosphere was ok it was extremely hot inside . Barbacoa is not Barbacoa there, my tacos were Birria and that definitely is not traditional birria .
My go to street taco restaurant. Best food, service and a cool vibe. All around amazing 👌 < That was about a year ago.... NOW, everything has gone downhill, the beans aren't like they used to be, never the same, never spicy and delicious, and they always seem to skimp on the actual beans. They also kinda tasted canned, maybe less fresh ingredients? Even the tacos...... THE TACOS??? They were overcooked and dry. The wait staff has seemed to not care about the customers, just the job. And the music is always something that's way too loud. Overall I'd recommend taking the extra time for the better experience at the Kuykendahl location.
I really wanted to love this place, but its just okay... The esquites have raw onions. Which is incredibly disappointing and misleading since there are not raw onions listed anywhere in the description and I'm allergic to onions. Immediate money wasted... The tacos did not have a lot of meat, and the meat they did have was not flavorful at all. Most disappointing street tacos ever. The quality definitely doesn't reflect the prices. Ive had better for cheaper in Pasadena.
Bigotes used to be one of our favorites! Tacos were always fresh, full of flavor, and generous portions. The last few months it’s really gone down hill. They started using different tortillas — much smaller, and changed the order from 5 to 4 tacos for the same price. I keep giving them more chances hoping to see improvement, but I think tonight was my last time ordering from Bigotes. The amount of meat in the tacos was comical. Such a bummer cause they used to be great!
We have been here many many times, in the past this place would get 6 stars. Recently it's really gone downhill. Out of meats, TERRIBLE service, and bringing out plates 15 minutes apart (by the time I'm done eating, my wife would not have her food), the list goes on. It's really sad to see one of our favorite places crash and burn like this. (The other locations are great, just not 1488)
We were a group of 6 of 4 Adults and 2 kids. Four of our order came out with the rice cold, like it came out of the refregirator. No joke. We Sent it back. The microwave it afterwards. The manudo soup had NO Meat. We had to send it back and they re did it. Still not that good. There was NO bartender and lot of people asking for drink and the waitress going crazy between the tables and making drink. She was really trying very hard but it was to much for her. We felt sorry but the owner should look for more help.
It pains me to write this review because my husband and I have been loyal customers for almost 5 years, but there have just been too many changes that have compromised the quality and experience we once loved. First, the customer service lately is atrocious. We used to eat here on almost a weekly basis, and the last 3 times we’ve been here, they’ve messed up our to-go order. There’s just zero excuse for that, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Our order is always pretty simple and there’s never more than 2 other customers eating at the restaurant. It’s just very careless service, especially for the price. Second, they keep changing the street tacos. It used to be very simple, straightforward street tacos (which were fantastic), and then to increase prices, they changed it to include rice along with 5 street tacos for $11.99–even if you don’t want the rice. We’ve sucked it up because we’ve always liked their street tacos. Yesterday, however, we discovered that they’ve now decreased the same-sized street tacos from 5 to 4 tacos (if you’re ordering them on any other tortilla besides corn tortillas), but the price is still the same. Makes absolutely no sense. The barbacoa was also all fatty meat. It was very disappointing. Third, I’m not sure why they are so unreasonable about their creamy green sauce, but if you want their creamy green salsa to dip your tacos in, it’s now another $4.99 for a small container of salsa. They used to have a salsa bar where all of their different sauces (and other toppings) were available for FREE. The fact that they are charging for sauce to dip your tacos is truly ridiculous. Not even the holy grail of tacos—Tacodeli—charges for their award-winning green sauce (Doña sauce) because it’s just nonsensical. It’s salsa, not guacamole or queso. This is the only place that charges for basic sauce, and it’s just not warranted. Yesterday, they once again messed up our straightforward order of street tacos and a large order of guacamole and chips, and then we had to wait for them to fix it all while our food was getting cold. But what I found even more surprising is that the waitress also still charged us extra to fix HER mistake. It’s just disappointing. This place has a lot of potential, but it has just gradually gone downhill. I usually don’t write reviews, but hope that doing so will prompt some changes because we truly did love this place 5 years ago.
Ordered 2 of the “taco heart valentine box” but got 2 trays of street tacos! They were texting me and texting me to pick up my order even though the mall parking was crazy! But they couldn’t let me know they didn’t have the heart shaped boxes???? when I called to ask why, the lady just responded “oh my fault” & they wouldn’t have those heart shapes til tomorrow. I would have moved my order had I known. So disappointed! I was taking these to my husband who’s a firefighter and they were just a tray of tacos! No Valentine’s theme! So annoyed!
lol I bought a simple vegetarian burrito 🌯 and it’s cost me 20$!!! What a joke! Please, do not come here go somewhere else! 🙏🏾
The food is not good. The service is slow. One girl working the other doing god knows what behind the bar. Meat was crunchy and not good. Won’t be back
Horrible experience. We were just craving some good street tacos and decided to give this place a try. Took forever for us even to get menus and order drinks. Took 40 minutes to receive our food, and we never received our water or the side of beans we had asked for. Then it took another 30 minutes to get the check. We were never once checked on the whole time we were there. The food was okay at best. Portions were tiny. Absolutely waste of time and money and really ruined our evening. We will never be going back.
Food took forever and wasn’t that good. But at least my server Grace was really nice.
This is not my first time here, but today it was awful!. Everything! Really bad service, and really bad food!!! The server had the worst attitude. Had to ask to redo the street tacos because they were disgusting. They brought the food 35 min later and they were inedible. She didn't offer to take it out from the check. This was my last time here.
Wow!!! Got a door dash order today like I have many times and the food was so cold like they never heated up the meat or anything. I don’t know if it’s because I ordered when they just opened or what but just horrible. Tried to call talk with the store but the guy kept telling me he couldn’t speak really much English so I gave up. So frustrating it’s normally really good.
Stop in after a long day of moving to grab a bite to eat. It was late and this place was one of few places that was still open in the area. My friend and i walked in and the bartender told us to sit anywhere we like. We decided to grab a seat at the bar. 20 min goes by and the female bartender never once gave us menu or even acknowledge us, so we got up and left. I'm a bartender myself and usually very patient within reason but I was there on a slow night so the lack of service was unacceptable.
Got here waited 30 mins for 5 tacos, the most unseasoned tasteless cold tacos ive ever had. Completely dry. The queso tasted like a block of velveta cheese. The chips were the saltiest thing on the whole table.
Placed an online order of 2 entrees and drinks for pickup ASAP at 8:24 pm the order wasn't ready until 9p
Ordered the food online was told 20 minutes.. when arrived to pick up ... it was not ready and need it another 15 minutes... the burritos were with very small amount of steak... you could count it... so few.... the chips $3. barely enough on a plate.... it did not taste all that good.. we spend $53+ on this meal and it is a waste of money... other (a lot of them) places are better then this....
I usually order from Bigotes and have never had a problem. I found a long black hair in my chilaqiles. I called and spoke to a manager she stated i needed to bring back the chilaquiles if i wanted a refund or exchange. I couldn't take them back because i was at work at the moment. The manager went on an told me that this things happen and it was out of their control. She also said it could happen to anyone. I was very upset because she wasn't very apologetic instead she had an attitude about the whole situation. I will not be going to there because customer service is horrible and there's hair in the food. Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen must be.
The Service was abysmal. Barely checked on tables, the food took 45 mins to even reach our table. Their “Sweet tea” is unsweetened with 1 sugar packet added behind the bar. On top of that the food was quite horrible. Street tacos were dry and seasonless, crawfish were way overcooked practically mush, and the queso tasted like a melted velvet-a block. The only good thing about this place was the chips. Not worth $60 for 3 people.
Respectfully if you want good Mexican food do not come here. If you want a place to hang out at and have a beer, then this place would probably suffice. The food had appeal physically, but the flavor was incredibly underwhelming. Tacos are hard to mess up so if I were to return I’d order that.
Service was horrible. Sat and waited to be greeted and as people walked in they were greeted and being given chips and salsa before I was. (Which are not great and was charged for even though it’s on the menu stating it is given free to all diners). Food was cold. For $40 for two people absolutely over priced and not worth the time. Regulars probably get a better experience but for a first time guest, very good way to lose new customers.
To overpriced for the quality of food, i was on hold for 15 mins before i placed my order for them to not pick up my call and hang up. Overall i would give them ZERO stars if i could
Poor service. Three times, I asked for a little ice on my large $7 drink. Looked at manager in the eyes. She ignored me and out of spite, she still served me over half a cup of ice. When I complained, she said I could buy another drink. Rude.
I would have given this place 5 stars except that their in-store service is just horrible. My family used to frequently have lunch or dinner there but lately it's just been getting worse. The last time we ate dinner, we were waiting for about 15 at the time just staring at the girls giggling at the register. So we went up to place our order there to give them a hand, but were told to go back to the table as full service was done there. Explained we had been waiting already and wanted to help by putting the order at the front register but no. We ended up leaving after that. I absolutely love their tacos but just can't get over their bad service. There was a time when they were understaffed and only two people taking everyone's orders, it was so much better then. I wish them the best. Update: My parents wanted to give it another go because we enjoy their food. But ended up with horrible service and offended. No need to explain more.
What happened??? Use to be the tits! We ordered thru DoorDash Friday. “Red” Salsa was rancid(thick brown mush) . Green salsa now so flipping hot you can’t enjoy it.. bland rice which appeared to be made out of a bag you boil.. and refried beans practically puréed. New owners maybe? ? ? We Ordered for 5 and disappointed.oh and bummer you guys stopped making your own chips. These Grocery store chips … boo
13 Oct 2025. I ordered chicken Flautas through door dash. Simple order and delivered quickly. However the first Flauta I bit into had a chicken bone. Nobody likes that and I certainly don't, but figured it was an anomaly. Second Flautas had a chicken bone too! I was going to call and complain but it's been a long day and I can't see wasting my time. Bottom line up front; this place cares very little for quality control in the food they prepare. Honestly the chicken smelled kinda old. I'll not be ordering from this place again. Nope! 👎
We've ordered from Bigotes a lot over the years, unfortunately this will be our last. They're already a little pricey for what you get but this is ridiculous. $6 for this BS chips and salsa in tiny little cups and a tiny little bag. Less than what you'd get for free at most places. It's an absolute joke. Not to mention their tacos were missing from delivery services, I had to call and ask about and they didn't even seem to care.
We ordered 3 tortas tonight. One Cuban and 2 de milanesa. The bread and meat for the milanesa was super hard and just not edible. I’ve been to the location off kuykendahl and my torta was not bad. Super upset with my dinner order. Also the torta was cut in half but the meat was still not cut so either they sliced the bread before adding the meat or they half sliced bc the meat was too hard to cut through. Maybe the other things on the menu might be good but the Milanesa torta is as not it!!
