I had an excellent time at Jazz Tasting! We were very lucky because at the time we showed up there were only two spots open! We sat next to the stage, which you would think would be a bad seat, but we had the time of our lives seeing the joy of the keyboardist. On this evening, The Franchise Players were performing and the range of this band was astonishing! They went from classical Jazz to covers of Earth, Wind & Fire, Marc Anthony, James Brown, Bruno Mars and 2Pac, to name a few! Oof! They gave us a show! The service was excellent! Christopher was attentive, kind and never lost the smile on his face. We asked him for food recommendations and he did not steer us off! The Norwegian Salmon, Braised Short Rib and Crab Cake were incredible! Our plates were clean when we were done eating. The presentation of the plates was also beautiful! The place is small and reservations fill out quickly, then it becomes first come, first serve. But the vibes are perfect. People stroll in and out between sets, so don’t feel discouraged if you have to wait a bit. I will say, things do get pricey during the weekend. There’s a cover charge of $10/person, a minimum spend of $50/person and an implemented gratuity of 20%, regardless of party size. Definitely something to do on special occasions or for those date nights you want to splurge on a little. All in all, 10/10 experience for me and I will be highly recommending!

This is a great place for date night or ladies night out. Great food and drinks with live entertainment! The staff was wonderful. They have something every night for everyone. Ladies night is Tuesday! We had the Filet sliders and Buffalo Shrimp for an appetizer, was So Good. Will definitely be back.

This was all of our first time here, and we truly enjoyed the place. Music was Great! Food, Drinks and service were good too. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Jazz tasting for any occasion! It won't disappoint 🙂

I went with a group of friends for Halloween, and this was a vibe!!! Energy was high, and everyone was grown and sexy. The band playing was amazing! Entertainment included music and funny jokes. They even had a costume contest. The food was good. Drinks were better. Definitely became a returning customer. If you're looking for good food/ drinks and to enjoy some live Jazz this is your place. Plenty of seating available, including bar, but I suggest you get there early or make reservations to guarantee to seating you prefer.

The restaurant has a limited menu which I like. I chosed short ribs from the menu which was delicious. Also I had calamari for an appetizer which was amazing. I always choose calamari as my appetizer when it's available. This one stood out among the rest. It was tender and juicy and very tasteful. I can't wait to go back!

If you’re ever in Orlando, this place is nice one to add to your itinerary. This place is only about twenty minutes from Orlando’s tourist attractions. This was my second visit. The first time I was here, there was a Jazz band that was very good. Fast forward to recently, they have renovated the place and it looks bigger. The food and atmosphere was👌🏾💯. On this visit, the band and artists that performed was a singer by the name of Jai Eagle. Please look him up on social media. His show did not disappoint. He was incredible. Had folks on the floor dancing in the venue. The food and drinks were delicious. The short rib with spinach melts in your mouth. Super pleased with this place. If you’re looking for a great date night while on vacation, this is the spot.

This place was SUCH A VIBE!! Dayve Stewart and his band mates were PHENOMENAL. Our seating location was perfect, the food was superb and our server was super kind and attentive. She explained the offerings in detail and made sure we had everything we needed. I made sure to budget for this experience. We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and I wanted to make sure we were financially prepared. I did like that they did incorporate the gratuity in the final balance, I didn’t have to do any math at the end of the night :). If you want great live music experience with some really good food, this is it.

We went last year in March, and I forgot to make a review. We went for an anniversary. The food and atmosphere were great for the night. The music for the night was great as well. There was a reservation charge for the night and a minimum spend, but it wasn't an issue for us. We haven't been able to make it back out since last year, but we do recommend it.

Jazz Tastings combines a great atmosphere with live music that will have you bopping your head or rising to your feet to dance when the beat or nostalgia (or both!) gets the better of you! It offers first-class cuisine and faultless service. Our party had the sweet chili calamari, jumbo lump crab cake, Calabrian chili shrimp, and smoked fish dip for starters followed by salmon and braised short rib for our mains. For dessert we had beignets, bread pudding and brownie à la mode. The Williamette Valley (Pinot Noir) complemented our meals beautifully as did the Chilean Papi Cabernet Sauvignon which is a sweet wine. Finding parking space on a Friday night was a bit tricky given other establishments in the vicinity that were open but that was a small price to pay for the wonderful experience my party and I enjoyed! If I could change one thing about that night it would be for the music to be turned down a notch for ease of conversation. Apart from that, it was a truly memorable night. Janelle, our server for the second time in a row, was excellent, attentive and is blessed with a smile that can light up the whole of Orlando! I highly recommended Jazz Tastings and look forward to my next visit!

They all brought such great energy. The wait staff was extremely helpful, kind and on top of it. The food was delicious, the best calamari I have ever had and the drinks were mixed perfectly! I definitely will be returning. I never leave reviews but it was such a great place, I had to. 10/10 experience.

Oh wow! This place really surprised me. It was my first time visiting and I will say, it will not be my last. A beautiful and mature crowd awaits at this gem in a very cozy and intimate atmosphere. Who doesn't like a live band and a songstress that can compete with some of the best vocalists out there; "Noelly sangs hunty"!!!! This place had me stoked after viewing the menu and simply dancing in my seat from one of the best calamari dishes I've ever tasted. Our waitress...simply the best! Overall, great experience!!!!

My whole experience here was amazing if I could get five stars I would when I tell you, I have not received the level of hospitality that I received at this restaurant anywhere else in the last couple years It’s no joke. All the servers were actively scanning tables to pick up dishes that you finished or to refill your cup of water or whatever beverage you were drinking. I did not feel rushed throughout the order taking process or while I was eating my meal or even to receive the check. The music was amazing. The whole vibe was amazing. The layout of the restaurants, beautiful, and the food was top notch. The food definitely did not taste like they ordered the premade stuff that they just heat up in the back and served to you. Everything tasted 100% fresh and everything had so much flavor. It tasted as if my grandma had just made all these dishes for us. Michelle was my server and she was just as amazing and a great representation for this restaurant. She definitely made our experience amazing. We went for my girlfriend’s birthday and we will definitely be coming back.

Food was great, best steak I've had in a long time. However it was cold when it made it to the table. Was offered for some items to be comped, but never happened. Overall amazing menu and service, just needs better food runners.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, my partner and I just moved to Apopka and were looking for some Jazzy entertainment. We made a reservation for 7pm but after a while it didn’t seem like anyone got assigned to our table, we were 45 minutes in and just getting water. We were getting hungry and decided to just leave. There was a kind young gentleman there that sat us down and we decided to let him know we were leaving. As we left one of the managers, a young woman working in the front approached us and apologized for the mishap, our table was overlooked and hadn’t been served and promised to turn things around if we gave them another shot. We agreed to stay not expecting much but she sat us somewhere where we could more comfortably enjoy the performances and talk to each other, she served us herself and checked on un multiple times throughout the remainder of our experience. They ended up giving us a discount for the bad time and overall turned the experience around for a place we might’ve not returned to, to a place we look forward to coming to again and again. The food was yummy, and so were the drinks. The miso short ribs and the purple rain cocktail are a must try. The entertainment was better than expected and the open mic singers were a surprise.

I visited jazz tastings on a Friday evening and had an amazing experience. Anna the hostess of the evening was extremely warm and accommodating. She was willing to seat my party at a table that aligned with our preferences. Michele was our server. Her service was excellent. She exemplified warm inviting customer service. The vibes were 10/10. Noelley and the band (the entertainer for the evening ) sounded amazing. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys live music, good drinks, and an intimate setting. I will definitely be back! Thanks for an amazing birthday!

When extra charges are added automatically, it takes away the option to reward great service with a tip beyond what’s required. Because of that change, I’m giving this place three stars to be fair. Still good food and service, but the new pricing structure really affects the overall experience.
