Comida tradicional y de muy buena calidad. Muchas opciones sin gluten. Saben perfectamente atender a personas celíacas, lo recomiendo muchísimo. Hay bocadillos sin gluten y también de todo para comer o cenar. El servicio también es muy bueno. Todo lo que puedo opinar es positivo. Echamos de menos el horario de almuerzos, pues eran de los mejores de Valencia! Añado fotos de lo que hemos pedido la última vez, todo buenísimo y el servicio un 10. Ensaladilla, patatas, puntillitas y sepia con mayonesa. De postre trufa y tarta De Santiago.

Excelente sitio … una carta amplia donde puedes elegir lo que te apetezca! Nosotros fuimos x tapas… las mejores sepias a la plancha de Valencia! Ensaladilla rusa riquísima y boletus recién hechos… todo un manjar! La atención de los camareros excelente! Volveremos 🤗

Templo del producto, marisco fresco del día. La verdad es que un bar/restaurante de los que casi no quedan, calidad de comida, buena bodega. Pedimos la clásica sepia con mayonesa, la mejor de Valencia. Gamba roja y cigala, un espectáculo ambas. Ostra, no falla. Y unos berberechos buenísimos, terminamos con la torrija con helado. Todo acompañado de albariño Cies, de los pocos que lo tienen en la ciudad, Bar Ricardo no falla.

Se ve un sitio sofisticado, con carnes maduradas, marisco y producto fresco. He ido porqué me quedava cerca de donde estaba y ha sido un acierto. Nosé si me han gustado más las bravas, los calamares, las croquetas (¡increíbles!) O la tarta de queso. Me ha costado 34€.

Tienen una amplia carta y todo tiene una pinta buenísima. Lo que pedimos estaba de 10. Atienden muy bien y los precios son razonables aunque hay que pedir con mucho ojo porque si te descuidas puede subir bastante. El local es amplio y limpio. Es para volver una y otra vez. No fallarás.

La atención de José en la terraza, impecable. Un servicio como los de antes, de los que hacen que la experiencia sea completa. No solo la comida está buenísima (no dudar en pedir las alcachofas con foie que son espectaculares) si no que la atención desde el montaje de la mesa hasta las recomendaciones, es de 10. Se nota que tienen profesionales de la hostelería trabajando allí. Volveré pronto segurísimo.

authentic tapas bar. if you can, try to book at the front tables directly at the bar, as you’ll get mesmerized by the expertise of the staff and the huge trays of oily patatas bravas (one of the best in valencia). I strongly recommend chipirones a la plancha, unbelievably tasty and usually hard to find. I loved the zamburiñas, the shimps cooked with garlic and the fried zucchini filled with shrimps and ricotta. basque cheesecake was very good as well; the atmosphere is incredible and the staff is very friendly

Great neighbourhood spot for high-quality tapas and large plates. The patatas bravas were quite unique as the potatoes were coated in a chilli oil. Might not be for everyone, but I certainly enjoyed them. The grilled squid was seasoned simply with salt and finished with olive oil and lemon. Simplicity at its finest. The fried courgette flower definitely seemed like a more contemporary dish. Although it was slightly small, it packed a massive punch of flavour. My friend also ordered a ribeye on the bone, which was extremely juicy and full of flavour. Make sure to polish up on your Spanish as some of the waiters here don't speak English. However, they're extremely friendly and will do everything they can to make sure you're satisfied. Definitely book, as many people were turned away due to how busy it was.

We didn’t have any reservations but was able to be seated right away for 2 people. It seemed like really good timing because groups came after us and no tables were available. I recommend making a reservation. There are tables inside and outside and we sat outside since that was the only table available. There were a lot of smokers near us which ruins the eating experience so if that bothers you, make a reservation inside. We got the peppers, bravas, anchovies, artichoke, and eggs with smoked salmon. Way too much food for two people lol The bravas were really well seasoned and had great crunch. Some of the best I’ve had in Valencia. The anchovies were sitting in a lovely vinaigrette that went really well with bread. The artichoke was my favourite dish. It was crunchy and light and the egg on top gave it a creamy texture. The smoked salmon egg was a bit weird for me. I found the eggs to be too fishy and I love fish. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here!

Came here for a drink and a small bite to eat before dinner and the place did not disappoint. Although we didn’t have dinner here, the small things were very tasty. The staff are very friendly and the prices are decent. It’s bar “de toda la vida” meaning that you have a lot of regulars that go there or have been going there for a long time. There are very few of these places still left so highly recommend coming here as they are very friendly to all guests not only to the regulars..

Bar Ricardo is a very popular tapas bar established in 1947, conveniently close to home. It's always busy, so you definitely need a reservation in advance. Tonight, we walked in around 7pm and managed to sit at the bar on bar stools, which was a great experience. We started with anchovies in vinegar, then continued with esgarraet, razor clams (navajas), and the potato with eel dish - a typical Valencian dish called All i pebre de Anguilas. All of the courses were off the charts with amazing tastes, but the All i pebre de Anguilas was particularly the highlight of our dinner. Bar Ricardo undoubtedly deserves five stars, and we highly recommend it as one of the best tapas bars in town.

We visited here two times during 4-days-stay, which proves how good they are. The sea food was really fresh. There are a large variety of tapas to choose from. We had fried Antichokes with Foie gras, Padron peppers, steamed clams, salted half cooked prawns, oysters, fried potatoes with garlic Aioli. The fun sitting at the bar is that you don’t stop ordering while watching dishes freshly cooked and passed by you. The restaurant was really busy, and the service tried the best to serve us with limited English skills. But it all works out perfectly. We had a joyful evening with 5 Glas of wines till almost the midnight. It costed 120 euros for two people. The last day we came by for lunch and had grilled squid and steak. It was also very nice. Overall, we would highly recommend and would love to come back here again!

Great food experience in Valencia! This place has amazing food, fair prices, local experience. It has a very nice design, there is a terrace in front of the bar but also you can stay inside. Inside there is a second floor with open space, which offers a nice view inside the location. Lots of types of local food. You can also combine plates, just discuss and bargain for the plate content experience. Staff is nice, they speak english. A big set of drinks available. Prices were reasonable compared to food quality and the overall experience. There are also fresh fish/ seafood exposed which you can choose to be prepared.

Había escuchado mucho hablar de este lugar, ya que me lo habían recomendado bastante, y la verdad es que cumplió con las expectativas. La carta tiene muchísima variedad, aunque destacaría que la especialidad es más el pescado. Pedimos tanto pescado como carne, y todo estuvo riquísimo. Lo único que me sorprendió fue que, sin pedir la cuenta, nos la colocaron directamente sobre la mesa. Al comentárselo al camarero, nos explicó que pensaba que ya nos habían avisado. Como punto a mejorar, el espacio entre las mesas es algo escaso, y deberían trabajar en ello para que la experiencia sea más cómoda. En cualquier caso, toda la comida es de gran calidad y merece la pena ir. ¡Repetiría sin dudarlo!

Un Buen lugar para ir a comer. Es un bar, pero con una gran oferta de comida, especialmente en pescado y marisco. Mobiliario de toda la vida....que ya podrían mejorar. Servicio correcto y tiempos aceptables. Imprescindible hace reserva o,... ir a la aventura y hacer cola sin saber cuando te va a tocar (si es que tienes suerte y te toca) Relación Calidad/Precio aceptable. Nada de tapete, mesa monda y lironda, tal cual!

Food is good here especially egg mashed potatoes salad (Ensaladilla) and patatas bravas 🥔🥔🥔!!! Shrimps taste very sweet and fresh, mostly dishes are nice quality and cook well, only the cod balls were the way too salty for us, but we saw other tables with local people had same dish they seemed happy with it, and special spanish stewed eel has a lot of thin bones, it’s not easy to eat, in fact after eating mostly the eels(I’ve been very careful..) I got a fishbone stuck in my throat in end and it hurts for over a week. This is my regular place, nice vibe and people always seem joyful here, in addition to the slow service I like this place!!

The place has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are efficient. The food overall was good, but the calamari were disappointing – they didn’t sit well with my stomach for the next couple of days and really weren’t worth the price. The patatas bravas were tasty, while the jamón croquettes were undercooked inside and a bit cold.
