Buen precio.
100% recomendable.
Marzia
We had two fantastic meals at Mesòn Antonio during our stay in Malaga. We visited on our first night and returned on our last night. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The Malaga salad, fresh tuna, fried aubergines and grilled pork tenderloin were our favourites, and the creme caramel was delicious! Our favourite thing about our visit though was the lovely wait staff who made our visit (with a 7 month old), so much fun and we felt so welcomed! The staff went over and above during both visits and loved babies. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Malaga! Antonio and Francisco were lovely!
A surprise discovery in the middle of the historical centre of Malaga. Exquisite food - home made. You can feel the atmosphere of the local restaurant where locals are coming to ear their regular food. But it's not regular. Good portions and fair prices. The wines are also very good. We came here for 3 times in a row.
It was my first trip to Spain and I am so happy to visit this amazing place! I was impressed with wonderful service and hospitality. Paco is a great professional and knows how to please customers and satisfy their tastes. All the dishes offered by Paco were delicious. I definitely recommend everyone to start their gastronomic journey in Malaga from here, Meson Antonio
Lovely dinner for 2 at a reasonable price and good quantity - €90 for 2 mains, 1 shared starter and 1 single, 1 jar of sangria and an extra glass. Established in 1979 you can feel they have been around enough to provide proper 360° experience, from the waiters always ready to crack a joke or give a recommendation and most importantly serving tasty food with a great and wide choice of meat and fish. Calamares a la plancha, TOP!
Service is mostly good, but they are very busy!! We was there a thursday and a friday. They have excellent fish. Really reccomend their meny. The Cava for 26€ is fantastic. Juve et Camps. Big dessert meny, we tried 4 different. All perfect! It might be clever to book a table. We didnt, but were lucky!! Old fashioned, traditionel restaurant from 1979. A very pleasant and entertaining experience.
We decided to go here after watching Spain Revealed by James Blick, we wanted an authentic experience while here in Málaga for my partner's 40th birthday. This place more than lived up to its high recommendation, serving the truly best sirloin steak of my life (ordered medium-rare and it actually came medium-rare .... a first!) They recommended a local Malaga wine to pair with it and we were blown away by the high quality of the food. This meal was delicious, and would highly recommend! The cost was very reasonable considering the quality, and we paid less for our meal than the steaks we got at the marina! After we paid the bill we were treated to a shot of limoncello and a mini ice cream which was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening. A charming setting, surrounded by wine and wonderful food, please do give this place a visit. We will definitely be coming back!
Just had an amazing meal here with my wife. The steak was the rarest I ever ate but it was Perfect. My wifes eggs, shrimp, ham dish was so flavorful. For desert we had mini ice cream bars with a cherry liquor and it was such a good combination. The bill came and it was great value, cheap compared to American prices. Come here

The best steak my partner has ever had, unreal monkfish dish, beautiful local wine and lovely atmosphere and service. Can't recommend highly enough.

Nice place with lots of Spanish options! We started with the artichokes with jamon and a fried egg. They were good, but everything was way too oily (and this is coming from a person that adores olive oil!). For main, we had the oxtail and the fresh tuna steak. The tuna was perfectly cooked and quite tasty. The oxtail was good, but not amazing (not a lot of meat to be honest). For desert we had the coconut tart and the cheesecake. The coconut tart was average but I really enjoyed the cheesecake. Not very sweet and quite refreshing. If you're ordering desert, make sure you order from the back of the menu, as they are the house deserts! Waiters were pretty attentive and helpful (I really appreciate the gentleman that spoke to me in Spanish after I told him I'm currently studying it) but we had to ask about three times for some table water, and we received it just before paying.

Visited twice now and had tuna plancha both times. Very nice, with a good selection of Spanish wines. Small, and service can be slow, but don’t let that put you off.
Really average food. expensive. Disappointing as reviews looked so good. Service wasn't brilliant either and on top of the bill, made for the least appealing food of our holiday.

Food decent, ordered small portion of jamon iberico which was delicious but waiter charged us for full portion. My Spanish is terrible so didn't highlight to him however I made it very clear when ordering I wanted smaller €12 portion so I would imagine they do this to tourists regularly. Won't be going back as overcharged by 11 euro.
We had very high hopes when we visited this restaurant but it didn’t meet our expectations. We went there late at night and all fish items from the menu were sold out, except for fried white fish bites, which was ok but not great. We were 5 people and the waiter recommended us to order 1 kg of the angus steak, but the meat came raw, placed in a plate right next to cooked fries. We had to cook the meat ourselves on a hot plate, which did not stay hot for more than a few seconds. We had to order 5 hot plates to finish cooking the meat, which they charged us for. By the time the meat was cooked, the fries were all cold and soggy. The bread pieces were also not fresh and very cold. Service was not great, slow, not helpful, and sometimes disrespectful. The tuna tartar was also bland and did not go very well with the tomato puree next to it. Overall, although the quality of the steak meat was great, we did not have a pleasant experience and some of the waiters were even laughing at us when we ordered new hot plates.

“You can find cockroaches the size of small birds on your table.“ It was the first restaurant I went to during my trip to Malaga. I sat on the terrace and the food and service were not bad. However, A lot of large cockroaches were crawling on the floor and I tried to ignore them because I didn't want to spoil the mood. Finally, the cockroaches came up to my plate and I screamed. I was so surprised and sorry to the other customers. (I haven't seen any bugs on the terrace seats at any of the restaurants since.) I immediately got up from my seat and went to pay, but the employee teased me by saying that there was a cockroach on my shoulder. That wasn't funny at all... This is beyond the limits of generosity. ————————— Thank you for your apology for my review. First of all, I have no bad feelings towards your restaurant. I just wrote what I experienced. The food and the service from the staff were good. However, I don't understand your answer that other customers didn't have any complaints. When I was leaving in shock, two tables of customers said, "It's okay. I saw it too.” “I understand you." I just hope that other customers won't have to go through the same thing. I hope your restaurant will do better.

Very poor experience. Probably this is the first time when I got fooled by positive rating. This is a true tourist trap, food is mediocre and horribly presented. Steak was ordered as medium and came in as rare. We asked to grill it additionally, but that did not help. My tuna steak on contrary was overcooked. The only thing I really liked was Malaga salad, although its presentation could have been more professional. The bill was 103 euros for 4 people.
