Esperienza fantastica!!
Interni particolari arredi etnici.
Great food! Very exotic and good, great service, and so kind.
FANTASTIC RESTAURANT!!!!!! VERY GOOD!!!!!
Attentive but not intrusive service. Nice atmosphere. Very good food! I especially recommend the Wagyulem beef (Kobe method) and the hazelnut tart with blackcurrant and raspberry jam, which is truly spectacular (crunchy but not at all dry). The price is medium/high, but it's reasonable for the quality and rarity of the meats (there are also exotic meats like kangaroo and ostrich). Plus, using The Fork offers excellent discounts. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
We've traveled uncharted territory and arrived in a small town in the province of Como, Solbiate Concagno, Via A. Diaz, 10 031941999 - 3884895825 www.etnicrestaurant.com Meat from all over the world, and that's exactly what we ordered: zebra meat, ostrich meat, and venison, served on special plates with a hot stone in the center, on which you could place the slices of meat and cook them to your liking. We ate very well, and the two girls who served us were excellent; they explained and recommended the various specialties to us with remarkable professionalism. We had a wonderful time, and I recommend this restaurant to everyone, but you need to book because it's always busy. The price is affordable; I only spent €180.
The meat was top-notch. I tried zebra for the first time and it was sublime! The appetizer with patangra and fried charcoal dumplings also exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return to this wonderful place to try other specialty meats, especially those cooked to perfection.

A pearl out of the sea. The restaurant is located on a side road in a small town near the Swiss border; the average price is around €35. Parking is its downside, as there's no parking, but you can find one about 500 meters away. The restaurant has a main dining room inside and a second dining room, also in a more or less ethnic style. From the outside, it doesn't look like a large place, and frankly, it's not even very inviting. Perhaps because of the inconspicuous sign, but as I wrote, "it's a pearl out of the sea." It has a distinctive character, a mix of styles including Arte Povera furniture, African paintings, and objects from other countries, making this place truly unique—I'd almost call it homey and welcoming. The clientele is fairly homogeneous, especially those seeking good food, tranquility, and sophistication. The owner welcomes you, a very humble and friendly person, yet professional at the same time, trying to make you feel at ease, describing the dishes with great passion. My comment was about his attire, as he was wearing a chef's jacket, which I thought was inappropriate, as the customer doesn't understand who they're dealing with. The staff is very helpful despite not being fully trained, but they do have a surprising trump card...their smile! The menu is well-structured, with a decent variety of dishes, focusing primarily on meat, unfortunately to the detriment of other options. The prices for individual dishes are fair, but obviously not cheap, given the refinement of the products offered and, above all, the quality offered. The cuisine is decent despite the size of the kitchen, where miracles truly happen. The ingredients are of decent quality, the dishes are well-served and beautifully plated, and the focus is on the product without frills. The presentation is neat, pleasant, and quite meticulous. The temperature of the dishes and food is respected. The only complaint is the lack of properly heated plates to keep the meats warm. What I appreciated most was the atmosphere, as it exudes a very homey and welcoming atmosphere. We obviously ordered the most unusual dishes, a mix of exotic meats ranging from crocodile to zebra, from kangaroo to bison, all served with a Himalayan salt plate where customers can sear or reheat the cuts of meat. The only flaw is that the side dishes are not given any special attention. Some vegetables are served lightly grilled but bland, and given the price of the dish, in my opinion this is a point not to be underestimated. The real leap in quality comes with the arrival of the desserts, which are amazing, homemade, and nothing short of perfect. And that's where my criticism begins... If a Neapolitan restaurateur takes such great care into his homemade dessert, how can he get lost in the details of his signature dishes? The restaurant has a "decent" wine cellar to choose from, with excellent labels to suit all tastes. The service is "warm," attentive, and courteous, while the wait times, despite the crowds, are average, almost below average. The restaurant is generally very clean. My rating is 4/5 because there are some things that could be improved in the side dishes already described, and there's a complete lack of alternative ethnic options for the first courses and fish. However, the strong points of this place are: the owner, who is very passionate and an excellent host, the ethnic meat selection is truly interesting, as there are no other restaurants of this type in the area, the wine cellar, and especially the desserts. Obviously, in my humble opinion, this is definitely a place not to be missed. My advice is to focus especially on the small details, which I'm sure will elevate this place to excellence. Please remember that every review is intended to improve, not merely criticize. Chef David H. Bucher Ki Kitchen Inspires
I didn't give it a fifth star only because of a "misunderstanding" about the wine. I ordered a dolcetto (meaning the first one on the list, the Piedmont one for €18), but I was served a Dolcetto d'Alba Cordero di Montezemolo for €30. As for the rest of the food, the service, and the ambiance, I highly recommend it.
I attended the tartare evening and appreciated the creativity in offering various versions. The meat was excellent and beautifully served. I think a side dish of breadsticks, carasau bread, or crackers would have been better than the bread (even if it was excellent), and besides, it's normal to have a side dish... even just a small salad could have been included. Good wine list. Good service. The location has to be appealing, certainly original, but walking past it, you don't notice the restaurant. I'd go back.
We live near this restaurant but had never stopped for a meal because it looks small from the outside, but we discovered there are smaller rooms inside. I would recommend updating the restaurant's sign, as many people don't know there's a restaurant there, especially because of the dark, gloomy sign, which doesn't catch the eye and makes it easily visible. We had a house appetizer, followed by tagliatelle with Angus and pistachio ragù... we delighted in a three-course meal with fillets: kangaroo, bison, and ostrich. To finish, two desserts. Everything was really good, but it's a shame the prices are a bit high and the dishes aren't generous for the price. My review is missing a star because when I asked if they catered to celiacs, the hesitant waitress had to think for a while and then turned me down without even checking with the kitchen. It's a shame because a colleague of mine wanted to try this place.
A restaurant located in a quiet area. Uniquely decorated, it features a mix of vintage and ethnic styles. It has a good number of tables spread across several rooms. The menu features primarily meat-based options, with some very unique dishes. Among the grilled options, exotic meats like ostrich, zebra, and bison stand out. In addition to the à la carte menu, the chef also offers off-menu suggestions. The wine list is interesting. Everything we ate was good. Prices are quite high, though partially justified considering the uniqueness of the meats. Friendly and polite staff.
The place is very bright, we enjoyed it. There were many choices of draft beers. To have an aperitif is ideal. They bring you some finger food as well.
Servizio veloce e personale gentile , locale un po’ da rivedere , non si capisce bene quale sia la linea di arredamento . Cibo ok , prezzi alti ovviamente per il tipo di carne che offrono . Consiglio di prenotare con The Fork
The restaurant, decorated in an ethnic style, is charming and original, but I had a hard time immediately understanding its flavor. The service is basic and very informal. I ordered a second serving of tartare as an appetizer, which was truly generous, perhaps better shared between two or as a main course. The zebra fillet, which I enjoyed, was served medium rare with a salt plate to warm it up or continue cooking. Since I don't like overcooked meat, I avoided reheating it. I appreciated the opportunity to sample different meats, but overall, the experience didn't convince me. At the register, I learned that you can get discounts by booking with The Fork. This is probably the best way to experience this restaurant, which is otherwise a bit pricey for the experience it offers.
The location is nice and cozy. The food was barely average.
It would have been 5 stars but... We booked for two with The Fork. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses, still water, and a craft beer. It should be noted that The Fork offers 50% off the food and cover charge, but not the drinks. We had dinner, everything was excellent. The waiter was very young, very kind and professional. The owner was friendly and approachable. Except that when it came time to pay, he slapped half off everything and then marked up the water and beer. The beer (which wasn't included in the 50% discount) was slapped down at €16. SIXTEEN EUROS. We were really disappointed because up until that point, we were very happy. We were so disappointed to see people taking advantage of the drinks because they weren't discounted. Anyway, the food was good. We just won't be back because of the rip-off. Not recommended
