Caring and loving to the community with delicious food. My friend just lost his daughter and Arti has been very generous. Thank you and so much love forever!
the chana masala and samosas were actually fantastic!!! and vegan!! tons of vegan options on the menu and the patio seating was so cute - highly recommend this spot
As a person of Indian heritage, I am extremely critical of most Indian restaurants. This place truly shines not only with preparation but with high quality well sourced ingredients. service is attentive but not overbearing. They were happy to accommodate the vegans in our party.
Tucked away on a quiet road, this place is a gem that has incredible Indian food. The menu offers a breadth of delicious options ranging from Panjabi curries to Gujarati chaats. The ambience is gentle, low key, and warm. After a long day of hiking, Arti was a perfect place to have an extraordinary meal and wonderful evening with friends.
Excellent food preparation. Their foods all start at mild spice and they are truly mild. You can adjust up. Pleasant service.
Best food in west Marin. Authentic and delicious organic indian food that is a staple of the San Geronimo community. They have a dish for everyone - even my toddlers request it. They get their spices and some other ingredients straight from India and have the sweetest staff. Family owned and operated. It might seem a little pricey but I think it's good value for the quality.
The staff took the time to make our birthday party so much fun, the atmosphere was so cute and intimate and the food was so delicious... especially the organic chicken! Our family had so much fun and will definitely be back. :)
Very tasty Indian food, great service. Also good vegan options (including naan)
Like a slice of authentic Goa landed in West Marin! This place is great. I've eaten here maybe ten times and always felt it was money well spent. If you like Indian food, this place is unlike the heavy-handed North Indian cuisine that's the norm. The only downside of this place is that it's packed on weekends with all the daytrippers heading out to the coast and back. But that's what happens with great restaurants. Make sure you get a reservation first.
I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay area for over 10 years and this is my new favorite Indian Spot. They have so many vegan and gluten-free options…. so delicious. Staff are super nice and outdoor seating is great.
Love stopping here for some wraps to go before entering Samuel p Taylor. Delish and filling
My favorite Indian spot in the bay area, consistently great service and amazing food. Gluten free and dairy free options including veggie pakora, curries, GF naan, and veggie biryani. The coconut curry, specifically with mushrooms, is a delicious highlight.
I wanted to enjoy my delicious meal instead of taking pictures. It was very good. They source lamb from a nearby farm, a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, and the vibe is what you would expect from the family-owned place. I look forward to coming back again soon.
Overall, Wonderful food and service! Especially their tandoori chicken is a must have. Just the size of the pieces will take you back to India. And the amazing taste of a hen oozes out of the wonderfully done in mild spices.
Hands down one of the best experiences you can have in Marin. The owner is one of the most friendly people I have ever met, that it is not a hyperbole. If you are on the way to/from the forest, beach, or anywhere through the Lagunitas area, you should really consider stopping here to eat. The Tandoori chicken is incredible.
Had an early dinner here on a Saturday. It was a very pleasant experience. I and my partner had a great time. The food was excellent; had lamb biryani and saag paneer, both of which were served hot. Also had gulag jamun which was delightful. Can tell that they take a lot of pride in their food and service.
Best Indian food in the North Bay! You can taste the love in the food and I swear it’s addictive!! Veg Korma and Saag Paneer are my favorites. I am half Indian and grew up eating home made Indian food and this place is very very legitimately amazing!! AND it’s organic and often local vegetables! Noel is such a sweetie and always has a smile to share 🙏🏼
Great food, would highly recommend the lamb curry and chicken Tikka masala.
Absolutely delicious. Excellent service and memorable hospitality. Can’t wait to go back.
Great food, great service and reasonable prices for the area. Had the chicken tikka masala, and would order it again! Medium spiciness and found it to be on the milder side of medium. Arti made us feel at home, and took care of us, even when they were getting takeout orders persistently. The ginger ale has a spicy taste and you can really taste the ginger. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re expecting a soda that tastes like Canada Dry. The mango lassi drinks in the fridge are really good, and I don’t generally eat mangos. Recommend coming hungry after a hike or day at the beach!
Wonderful Indian delights with service fast enough to please the kids, who entered hungry and left very full. The place is small but clean and friendly. Vegetable pakora was splendid and the prawns in jalfrazi sauce were not overcooked and well seasoned. Kids loved the mango lassi and tika masala. It’s a great family place with something for everyone. Give them a try!
Arti’s is great Indian food, we took a quick trip to Goa Friday night in Lagunitas! The samosa was a delicious start, I tried some dishes I always get like Saag Aloo, I mashed the potatoes, eating each smooth bite of creamy richness (vegan). Arti reminded me to get the gluten free naan as that is vegan. Ok, we all know gluten free bread is not as good as regular gluten, and, I appreciate having vegan options! The goa vegetable curry was easy to eat, mixed with some rice and delivered via naan. My favorites are the Chana Masala and Bagan Barta (spelling? delicious eggplant dish) I saved most of both for lunch, knowing the would hold overnight well. The ambiance is comfortable, a mix of neighbors and the random group coming back from Samuel P Taylor or Weat Marin. Think Global, Eat Local, you will enjoy the food and feeling of arti’s!
Some of the best Indian food I have had in my life. I love eating Indian food and often try it every country I visit that has it available but Arti's cafe might be the best I have ever had. The flavor was incredible in the dishes we got. The staff was super nice and was able to seat us right before closing on a quiet night. I would highly recommend going if you are in the area.
Nice Indian cafe with tasty food. Economic with decent portions. Partial self serve for outdoor seating (order at counter). Very quick service.
An amazing Indian restaurant in a beautiful location. We ordered Malai kofta & saag paneer with Naan bread; it was delicious. The owner and the manager are really nice and made us feel very comfortable, more like a family. There was a small accident which caused personal damage to me, but the manager was so selfless to offer me compensation to make sure the guest is taken care of. Way to treat your guests! I'll be back soon. Thank you and namaste 🙏
Gluten free naan! Need I say more? Also opens at 4:30 for an early outdoor dinner with our dog on the front patio. Only able to try two dishes, delicious saag paneer and vegetable coconut curry. Definitely coming back.
I always get the veggie lunch wrap served until 2:30pm. It is unbeatable! I believe they can make it vegan and I usually request a gluten free wrap as well.
Nice place to stop by while returning from Pt Reyes. We had Goan curry, which was a bit of a disappointment. I enjoyed talking with the owner.

Nice place to stop by while returning from Pt Reyes. We had Goan curry, which was a bit of a disappointment. I enjoyed talking with the owner.
I had a wonderfully delicious lunch, eight on the deck and made three new friends, the staff is so integrated into the community, everybody is chatting and you can see that they support local events with gusto!
You can taste the love and dedication in every bite. Arti deserves high praise for their hard work, incredible flavors, and excellent service. This is some of the best Indian food around. Nothing beats enjoying one of their lunch wraps by the creek on a sunny day!
Whether you’re new to Indian cuisine or already love it, this restaurant is a gem worth visiting again and again because, if you’re craving rich flavors and authentic Indian spices, this place does not disappoint!
I am lucky enough to live close by to this gem of an Indian restaurant, and I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff is kind and wonderful, and it is consistently the best Indian food I have had in the Bay Area. The setting isn’t fancy - just the opposite - but it suits its surroundings, and it is a fantastic place to grab a delicious dinner. P.S. do NOT sleep on their mango lassi, it is sublime!
Everything we ordered and shared was delicious! The naan was perfect and the mango lassies were the perfect refreshing way to finish the meal and cool off on beautiful Forest Knolls.

They have a few grilled options on the menu not using vegetable / seed oils.
This place is a bit out away from everything but it was one of the few places open after hiking at Point Reyes. It was a good find. A couple friendly guys running it. The Malai Kofta was great and the Saag was pretty good. Definitely try the Samosas, very nice with a bit of heat.
One good Indian place close to point Reyes. The ambience was great. It was cozy and had football theme with nostalgic images and flyers. The service was super friendly and quick. We ordered veg pakora, onion pakoras, chicken pakoras, lassi, tandoori chicken lamb tikka, veg vindaloo, veg coconut curry, garlic naan, rotis and chai. The starters were super fresh and tasty(must try all of them). The lassi was fresh and was not as sour as it used to be in most restaurants. The rotis and garlic naan were crispy on the crust and soft in the middle. The tandoori chicken was the highlight in a sizzling plate packed with smoky flavor. The tikka was flavorful and creamy with plenty of lamb chunks. The vindaloo and coconut curry were also good but less salty. The only disappointment was chai as it was too watery. Overall I loved the experience and the food as it was fresh and hot at unusual business hours. Moreover I’m glad to see this near point Reyes park and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Their customer service is bad and the food is just average. We ordered chicken jalfrazi, saag paneer, arti's special, paratha, naan, and chai. Only arti's special was good, the 2 curries were bland and lacked Indian taste. Naan and paratha were like papad.
Decent Indian food. Not great by any means. It's just convenient because there aren't many restaurants close by. A little underwhelming for the price (there are houseflies). Also, their curries don't come with Rice.
Tried Arti platter , masala tea( both items were good) and chicken tandoori which was very bland . Their outdoor seating and ambiance is good for summer dine out.

Good food. Breads and drinks were great. Other foods were a bit bland. Considering it's middle of nowhere it's a good option. Although pretty lazy cooking and indifferent upkeep of the place. The place is smack dab in the middle of very scenic region. It shouldn't be hard to keep a good ambience. The place definitely needs to tidy up. Hopefully they chop the vegetables...
I guess they tried their best to make the restaurant look like an authentic Goan restaurant. However it looked like the place wasn't cleaned enough. Food was okayish. Expected more. Have visited Goa 5 times and fond of Goan dishes but this was nowhere close. Only went there because it was the only Indian restaurant available nearby the beach
Decent food but the price was unreal. A tiny bowl of chicken curry costs 20$. I genuinely couldn't believe how little there was. Also had a side of rice for an extra 3$

Worst Indian food I have had so far. The food isn't as fresh as they claim it to be.
Good flavor on some of the food but prices are insane. Coconut curry was $20 for a mini cup with 5 small pieces of chicken, no rice. I felt like I had two spoonfuls and done, not worth the price, consider driving further for better options. Naan bread not worth it, super thin and costs $6, insane that they charge this much.

Be careful with portion size. Even with $16 a dish without complementary rice, you wont get enough to feed one person. On top of it when rice came (additional cost), it was in a double bottom pot which is again not enough for an adult. If you are hungry, its not place to go.
