Avis sur Starbucks McKinleyville
Just went through the drive thru & the worker I believe his name was Vick, he was so nice and had great customer service and was very polite at the window.People like this make you want to come back and visit. Thanks for the kindness
Arrived 5 minutes before closing and they were still very kind. I truly needed that coffee after being on road 10hours. THANK YOU!
Love this Starbucks, the staff are so friendly. I rarely ever get a wrong order and when I do, they either fix it immediately or give me a free drink card.
Great people, wonderful crew. Good vibes all around.
Vince/vance/vick was the best barista I have ever encountered. He made my day, above and beyond regular customer service, he is him. Thanks for the chai!
I visited this Starbucks twice a day for a week while I was busy looking for homes in the area. All of the crews working were very kind, courteous, and friendly when I visited. I also witnessed the manager giving the crews pep talks at shift changes, and she seemed very diligent about making sure customers were being served well, and for the well being of her employees. I could tell that this was a very positive place to work, and to be a patron of twice a day. Thank you!
What an amazing staff they have constantly, polite, professional and really make you feel at home 😊... Plus reminds me of my hometown San Juan Bautista bakery smell. I want to his name is Parker he is a natural barista. Was fun to watch him do his thing taking care of business and the folks. Kuddos

I ordered my usual Italian roast pour over. Patrick was my first server. Went to use the restroom as pour overs usually take some time to make. Came back and it was ready. Pretty fast I thought. I smelled it and it didn't smell right. I then tasted it and it tasted lighter than an Italian roast. I asked Patrick if he just gave me the dark roast blend they have on drip and he said that he had the bag in hand and he can show me all day that he gave me what I ordered. I couldn't finish a quarter of the cup. Every time I took a sip I knew it wasn't what I ordered. My stomach is pretty sensitive and I know drink the Italian and not get an upset stomach. I do almost daily. But not ever a quarter of the way into this cup I was getting an upset stomach. I went back and Vincent was there to help me. Vincent DID do a pour over of Italian roast. It DID smell and taste as it is suppose to. So Patrick lied to me about my order. I'd offer a lower review but Patrick made up for it. If anyone from this Starbucks in the management department reads this. Let your employee Patrick know that some people are able to smell and taste the difference and when someone calls them out they really shouldn't be offering lies. You should also promote Vincent as he made me feel okay with my experience.
We come everyday for breakfast/brunch. Today we used the drive thru and I was shocked when my small coffee arrived in the same size cup as my espresso shot. Three orders of Egg Bites without a bag, without napkins, no coffee stir sticks, and without silverware. I’m so tired of having to ask for these items. I called Starbucks regarding the size of my coffee cup when we arrived home, and got an answering machine. Not Cool. Coffee and Eggs are expensive especially today ordering from a restaurant. Do better guys.

Go through the drive thru. Do NOT go into the establishment to order. I went in since the drive thru line was a little longer than usual. Not a single person inside when I went in. I ordered 2 vanilla lattes. Took 22 minutes to make 2 lattes that were ordered to be the exact same, only to receive one overly sweet one and one with no sweetener at all. Drive thru experience has always been fine at 4 to 5 stars. 0 stars for inside service.
It's a Starbucks that naturally I had to interrupt a conversation of 2 staff members who were talking (about their holiday plans). I honestly apologize to ask them if they had some type of system for me to order since they were ignoring myself as a customer. No joke, "oh, no there is not. 1 min...."- continues convo then finally takes my order. I gave them a good 5min before I thought I was the dumb one just standing there.

The weekend scheduling at this store definitely needs improvement! I come here with my family almost every Sunday after church as a treat, and it’s almost always extremely slow. Today, there were only THREE employees working, and the store was packed with customers. When I asked why it was taking so long, they explained they were scheduled that way—absolutely ridiculous! Who would schedule just THREE people during early Sunday afternoon? It was clear the baristas were working as hard as they could, but they were overwhelmed, and the drive-thru was severely backed up. We ended up waiting over 20 MINUTES! This store desperately needs better management.

Issues. Having worked at a Starbucks in NY I know that this place has training and management issues. Let's start by addressing the fact that there is often five or six people on staff and not one is standing at the register as a line forms. Second, the baristas often forget to ask for a name for your order and DO NOT CALL OUT NAMES WHEN SERVING DRINKS. They just set the drinks out for customers to guess. I've had a number of people touching my drink thinking it was theirs or actually just taking it and leaving. Third, order a pour over coffee and the barista will start serving you at the checkout counter, um no thanks. I don't need to transact money while you are pouring coffee and cream. Fourth, the manager, or franchisee as I assume, does not offer the correct training to her staff. Starbucks has insane training in coffee and tea brewing in order to ENSURE CONSISTENCY AROUND THE WORLD. There is no consistency other than drinks being inconsistent and terrible. I love chocolate, but I order a grande mocha and I'm choking. Why? Because the cup was only about 3/4 full and still fully sweetened. Ugh. This place is a failure in terms of product and service and reflects poorly on the Starbucks corporation. Last, but definitely not least, this parking lot has the biggest pothole in Humboldt county and is definitely a driving hazard and could possibly be a sanitation problem too as it is next to a church that provides overnight space for struggling locals.
Waited 15 minutes just to buy a gift card. The store was not busy. And it took the employee 5 minutes just to acknowledge the line in the lobby. Employees were very slow moving. Batista did everything in their power to ignore the line forming
Had to re order since they made my 1st drink wrong and payed again they not only got the second drink wrong again but also the third I ended up just leaving with straight milk instead of a white mocha this is so ridiculous
I come here multiple times a week. Every time I order it’s always wrong, the baristas are RUDE when you tell them the drink is wrong. My ICED drinks are given to me with little to no ice. I’m not really sure why I was handed a cup of warm cold brew today when I asked for extra ice. This Starbucks is genuinely terrible.
This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been to locally. They took 30 minutes to make 2 frappuccino, I was the only car in the drive through. I decided to give it one more try and the customer service was horrible. The barista scolded me after she took my order because the beverage I ordered was off the menu. I don't recommend this location.
Why does it take so long for a mobile order? After 15 mins and its not even started yet. Manager on duty said they had a busy drive thru. Colin was too busy dancing and goofing around instead of making drinks. Its great to have fun at work but not at the expense of the customer.
Probably the most consistently unfriendly Starbucks that I have encountered in the US. There are a few exceptions, but many of the employees at this location are borderline hostile and go out of their way to avoid eye contact or acknowledge a customer. To get like a bathroom code or an add-on item, like water, one must prove their worthiness by first catching an employee’s attention, then answering a plethora questions against their dead-eye glares, then prove that some kind of purchase has already been made. As someone who typically orders online this typically means pulling up my app receipt, since pointing to the item ready on counter is inadequate. It’s also ridiculous that this order pulls items that are available at other locations, not due to lack of inventory, but lack of desire to make the item. The one good thing this location had was a cool mural reflecting local legends and highlights. That has been painted over.
Rudest workers ever. I've worked at Starbucks. They refused to give my girlfriend the code for their bathroom. Asked her if she wanted to get anything started while she was here. We ordered 2 coffees paid $14 and sat down to use the wifi quietly for maybe an hour. Did not think it was a store policy to have "employee only" restrooms, and if the employees here are discriminating due to the homeless issue that is just sad. Stop treating people like they're beneath you. It's not the four seasons. This is a starbucks in McKinleyville, CA aka the middle of nowhere. On top of the bummer restroom denial, they made both of our drinks wrong and were not friendly about it. It's uncomfortable for the customer to clarify their drink was incorrect. As someone that was a barista - I know rude people come in. That is part of the job. Please stop forcing your nice customers to prove their worthiness of decent respect. We were told "I'm pretty sure you said you still wanted whipped cream". Like what the hell? I worked at starbucks. Drinks remade do not come out of pocket for anyone. Super super bummed at the unwelcome and hateful environment. Workers were more concerned about sharing their birth charts and making shitty remade 80s playlists than doing their job. If you like Depeche Mode or Sade do not come here. Kids ruin everything.
I waited in the drive through line without moving for over 15 minutes.
