I just want to say to the head person or president of the company that this burger king on Herkimer rd is by far the best one in Rome utica area.the cleanest an on time with ur food. Everything was Excellent! Whoever was working the front taking orders was very good. He showed professionalism, knew what I wanted, and he served with a smile. This establishment was clean, the prices were very reasonable. The food was excellent (hot, not cold or warm but hot).
The manager knows me she's a very nice person

This Burger King always has the most friendly staff working at night. I usually stop over on a Monday night around 10pm and they couldn't be more friendly. Highly recommend this BK!
Staff was great on Friday night. I ordered the wrong number by mistake. I got expected to pay for a new meal. They took it back and corrected my mistake no charge. Went above and beyond. Thanks
They always get my orders right. I had the best Whopper ever at this Burger King. It was amazing. Line for the drive thru is always moving and quick. I wish there was a Burger King in South Utica. Best burger in town.
On the last day of my business trip to Albany, I decided to make a run up to Utica to confirm whether or not the restaurants in Utitca were familiar with the term steamed hams. I was not at all surprised or disappointed to see the confused look on the cashier's face. I quickly edited my order to mouthwatering hamburgers and there were no further issues. It is true what they say, don't order steamed hams in Utica. I left a 5 star review because it was great service and I feel a little bad for using terminology that I didn't think would work in this region of upstate New York.
So I'm giving this BK 5 stars. Now keep in mind I'm a Utica native and I knew what the old location looked like. (You would take one look at the floor behind the counter and decide that Wendy's was looking pretty good). The new location is fast and CLEAN. So that made me happy. Good work to the employees there hopefully they keep it up
April 18,2024 I used the drive thru today at this Burger King and I just wanted to comment on a certain employee I dealt with. His name was “Tim” and I must say that he was the person who took my order and also gave me my meal! Tim stuck out to me because of his kind and pleasant voice, he answered my question about the meal I had ordered thoroughly and patiently…and handed me my meal WITH A GENUINE SMILE! He just stood out to me! Thank you Tim, and like I already told you… NEVER CHANGE,!!
Staff was very friendly and acted like they were happy to be at work which is such a rarity these days. My order was correct and actually edible unlike some places. If ever I'm in the area again I'll definitely be stopping back.
Great food as well as clean atmosphere.
So when I order from this burger king a smile always comes on my face knowing that the staff is quick and efficient when making orders, I've always had my doordash order delivered way before it's supposed to be just because of the speed, the bacon kings were amazing and my dog absolutely loves the chicken fries
Nice remodel. Definitely a bunch of new employees so peak hours have been super long wait. But I went during the afternoon and everything was great. I do not like the name taking with orders. My name isn't hard but it can sound like a bunch of different things and with the speaker the first time I went through during a rush and gave name they lost my order but I ended up with a free meal so it wasn't a horrible inconvenience. This last time I just gave a fake name but it feels weird. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Hot fresh and employees are new but friendly.

Food is always fresh, service is well above average which is not a bad thing believe me when I tell you probably the nicest staff working the drive-thrus in the area. Sorry not sorry they make you feel welcomed vs the alternative from the others in area which make you feel like you are putting them out for asking for something from their store BK is doing it right . They use to be the only fast food joint we could count on to actually make the things that you order even at the last minute before final call such as a milkshake or something to do with the ice cream machine Etc. Until last night when they didn't make my two shakes and instead sent me coca cola. So even though I paid for two milkshakes at roughly$ 5 a piece and didn't get them, So door dash thinks it's okay to keep my funds and not issue a refund, hence this letter after explaining how it most definitely does warrant a refund and then some! That's theft for sure by such a big company as them you should be ashamed of yourselves especially with how much we spend on your services each week, it's sickening! And all because this restaurant didn't want to make my shakes! Thanks a lot guys! The best part is you had over 30 minutes before closing which was plenty of time to make the order
We stopped in for a quick bite and had the best experience. Dajia the person taking our order and cleaning the lobby was super helpful very nice and made sure we had a great experience. She knows what customer service is and is so pleasant. This is the type of employee every place should hope for and those that have them should strive to keep. Thank you Dajia
The employees are so fast and nice at this burger king. The manager is great. I watched her appreciate her workers, tell them how great they were doing, acknowledged me and made sure I knew my food would be done in a min. Let the cooks know if they needed help just let her know. So much better then McDonald's on North Genny down the road. Food is always fresh and hot. Burger King (especially this one)is my favorite choice for fast food!
This is a newly redone Burger King. They completely tore down the old one and built a new one. This was done so they could have two drive thru windows. One to pay at and one to pick up food instead of doing it all at one window. The place is nice. They are making great food, nice, hot, and fresh! Sandwiches were not thrown together as they are at some fast food places. Normally with a large onion ring they give you 2 zesty dipping sauces. If you would like extra dipping sauces they are 22 cents each.
Staff is always friendly and my food always taste fresh and fast.
Sydney was so nice and polite unlike the girl who watched me come in struggling with bags. Sydney came from behind the counter to assist me as the other worker stood in front of the door looking at me while having a personal conversation with a customer.
Good to see masks on employees (and most patrons) even when there is no mandate. Thank you for guarding our health. The food was good too!

Drive thru was rather nice, customer service was very nice, just fast and very friends, except the person in first window that took the money, but other than her, it was nice, order was right the first time as well.
Not 5* because I didn't get zesty sauce with my onion rings. Luckily the onion rings we're fire so I could eat them without the sauce.
Friendly employees. Food was fresh. Hey, it's Burger King. It'll do in a pinch...certainly better than Herkimer McDonald's.
Finally, a BK that cooks their food the right way. Fries done and crispy and fish not overcooked or undercooked.
I used like the original chicken sandwich but now it's smaller and has air in the middle of the chicken patty. Was disappointed. The fried were good but not the sandwich

We eat lunch here from time to time. Typical Burger King with all the great choices. Unfortunately, we both ended up sick after eating at this one yesterday. It was all we ate all day, so we knew where it came from. It's something that can happen anywhere, though. It definitely won't stop us from going back there. Gotta love the onion rings!!
Stopped at the Burger King in North Utica for breakfast this morning. 2 sandwiches for $4. Sandwiches were good and hot. Coffee was very bitter so staff happily replaced it with a fresh brewed cup. Over all, a good experience.
The service is usually good. They just need to make sure on the drive thru orders. We as customer trust we are being handled with what we ordered but after getting home I noticed I didn't get the burger I ordered, I got one lessen in price and they never answer the phone when I called to report it. I guess we need to start checking before leaving 😔
The service at drive thru was relatively slow, it was dinner time, but there were no cars ahead of me, so not sure what the hold up was. Wasn't as tho my food came out fresh and piping hot, that couldn't have been it. But the girl apologized for the wait and was very pleasant and polite. Food was not the best b.k. I've had, but order was accurate and complete. Wish they'd use ripe tomatoes as opposed to ones that are hard and still green in the center.
Extremely long line in drive through. Not many organized employees. Person in charge repeatedly reprimanded employees for speed.

So you will get what you expect from a big chain at this burger king. However, the entrances and exits of this parking lot are laid out wrong. If you are here when it's busy, and have to exit to the west or south, expect a long wait
I was soo hooked on those deliciouse cheesy tater tots i would Buy 10 and twenty packs daily don't understand WHY they can lef them.
Complying with Covid19 protocol. Not greeted and order wasn't repeated. One person won't deter me from visiting again. But a smile goes a long way.
I do enjoy this location, especially since the renovation. The service is hit and miss, but I love sitting in the arm chairs near the window. The drinks always taste like there's too much carbonation and when I have complained in the past they just say they have nothing to do with that, it's their distributor.
Very slow service I had to wait 15vmin for onion rings. They keep using them up on new orders and forgetting that they hadn't finished my order them after 15 min they gave me my order missing a sandwich so I had to wait another 3 min for them to make that. Almost 20 min for fast food is ridiculous. I should of gone next door and ordered a pizza. But I was in a hurry. So I chose Burger King because of time constraints which they major dropped the ball . With out even an apology for taking so long.
Forgot my bbq sauce. They need 2 menu boards on the new drive through. You can't see it till you pull up to the speaker so if you are in line you can't make you decision before you pull up to order. Slows the line way down....put one before the speaker and will cut the wait time in half I bet.
It's good but the issue is it seems they pick and choose who has to pull out and wait for food in the parking lot. Good food and the male Manger is supper kind.also why do we have to ask for ketchup just put it in the bag because the worker rolls your eyes when u ask who eats fries without ketchup
Nicely looked but man service is so bad
Did not have ketchup in their self serve dispenser and did not readily fill it when made aware of it. Only reason for a negative experience and I really hate to complain but two employees were on break at the same time and asked about the need but did not seem too worried to correct the need.
We waited 15 to 20 inside for our food after ordering on my mobile device. We went in at the pick up time.
Had to wait forever in the drive threw. Then get to the first window and the lady couldn't even great us and seemed to have an attitude, get to the second window different woman with a bigger attitude then tells me I had to move forward. I waited 20 min for a whopper meal. So much for fast food. The only thing fast is them taking your money.
Its Burgerking, fastfood service but at this particular location you usually can get a overly happy upbeat staff member taking your order. Fast service, not very often is something forgotten so that's a major +, and good is the what you should expect a day food chain to be.

My name is Julianna Rivera, and I am employed by the State of New York. I am writing to formally bring to your attention an incident I witnessed at your location last evening between approximately 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. While waiting inside for my order, I observed what I perceived to be an unprofessional interaction between a manager and an employee working the drive-through. The manager, identified by her name tag as Gianna, addressed the employee in a raised voice that was clearly audible throughout the dining area. She instructed him to slow down on taking orders and stated that he was not supposed to be at the drive-through window, asserting that she was assigned to that position. She directed him to remove his headset and leave the drive-through area. The tone and volume of the exchange were such that multiple customers in the dining room took notice. From my vantage point, the employee did not appear to be engaging in any misconduct or behavior warranting public correction. On the contrary, he appeared focused on his responsibilities and intent on ensuring that customer orders were processed efficiently during what was evidently a busy period. When he later came to the front counter, I recognized him as Chris, the founder of the Project Me Foundation, an organization that serves youth throughout Oneida County. I approached him privately to ask whether he was alright. He responded calmly and professionally, indicating that the restaurant was busy and that such situations can occur. However, several other customers expressed concern about the manner in which he had been addressed. One individual even suggested that he leave his shift, but he declined and continued fulfilling orders with composure and professionalism. Shortly thereafter, another manager identified as Bella asked Chris to assist with preparing bags for Gianna. Moments later, Gianna approached and instructed him not to touch anything related to the drive-through, again in a tone that I perceived as unnecessarily harsh and dismissive. This second interaction further contributed to the impression of inconsistent direction and a lack of professional courtesy. I fully understand that fast-paced environments can be stressful and that managers must provide direction to ensure smooth operations. However, corrective instruction should be delivered in a manner that maintains dignity and professionalism. Publicly reprimanding an employee in a loud and discourteous manner not only undermines morale but also reflects poorly on the establishment in the presence of customers. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to reinforce expectations regarding respectful communication and leadership practices within your team. Thank you for your time and attention to this concern.
Everytime I stop they forget something usually the fries. Very annoying when you get home and you have no fries in your bag. Also burger was cold.
Supposed to open at 6am, sat at drive thru until 10 after and didn't receive any service. Happened on more than one occasion.
My child who is 2 was threaten.. this worker who is a very tall white guy was saying things to me ad my family we could hear hear mumbling things to us . Hes very disturb man . I will never come to this one again and will be ginving this info at the burger king website to.
I never go to this one anymore and decided to go here tonight since NH is a drive from north utica. I asked for extra lettuce and extra mayo & I received a burger with 2 pieces and barely any mayo. I asked for fresh fried amd received cold,salty,soggy fries. I tried calling 3 times and the number seems to be disconnected. If I could give it no stars I would give a zero. Food in the garbage!
Not did I wait longer for a chicken sandwich when I opened it a lb of lettuce fell out and the sauce was everywhere but on the sandwich with all the ppl standing at the window I’m sure someone had time to make sure things are getting made correctly
Stood in line 20 min waiting for someone to come to the cash register, they would not make more eggs or were out idk but was forced to order lunch. Have it your way my butt and when I said that the girl slammed my cup on the counter beyond rude. Also I ordered a chicken sandwich with cheese which she didn't even ring up right but by then I was finished . I would NOT recommend eating here EVER. And I will be calling corporate
Ok, BK is basically all the same. But the service from location to location can varie widely. This North Utica location wins as the absolute worse. I've yet to go thru this drive thru and receive exactly what I ordered. I've tried several times and will NO LONGER attend this location. I encourage EVERYONE to go anywhere else. Today's example: pull to drive thru and wait for 6 minutes for car in front of me to get order in. Then get to order box and hear recording to start order. 1/2 way thru order I hear "I'm not quite ready, hold one minute, please & thank you" so I wait then when asked by a different voice to start order I do. The second voice is clearly a man but he is sounding like he just woke up and can barely speak. I give my order and only by the total I know it's wrong. The screen showing what u order is nonfunctional so I can't go by that, but I know 2x1.29 + small soda is not over $7. I Express that there is an error and his lacadazical response is " oh its cause the sandwiches are on sale" I said " what the %$#@&^$#&. , how can it be more money if it's on sale" ? I get to the window , pay the guy who is obviously higher than God him self. This guys eyes looked like they were two slivers bout to bleed . He still confused just ran card and walked away, didn't want to know nothing. So I get to next window to realize that he charged us for 2 sandwiches we didn't order so that what the price difference was and to add insult to injury she hands me a soda with cap half on giving me a soda bath
My online order was missing the following: BACON ON MY BACON BUGER!! PLEASE WATCH THE CAMERAS TO SEE NOOOO BACON ON MY BACON BUGER!!! WHY PAY EXTRA?!! NO ONIONS on 1 chicken sandwich and little onions on all other items when i ordered EXTRA ONIONS! EVERYTHING WAS ICE COLD!!! The cold grease from the chicken sandwiches soaked the entire bag- the grease wasn't even hot so you know they had been sitting!!! It seems like the food had been sitting there unordered, unedited, incorrect and possibly exposed to air elements for being left out for so long!!! Immediately after pulling away i checked my order to this! I tried calling and it rang 5 times and went to a dial tone. I wont wait for more mistakes from them! It’s unhealthy enough to eat cold, old grease but its worse to literally NOT INCLUDE ITEMS!!
Had a bigger order so was no big deal to pull ahead problem lays with we got none of our sauces, food ice cold and burgers weren't made to specs. . Never again and don't recommend
If it could be a zero stars, it would be. Most of the staff here is very rude Including the store manager and the assistant managers ive seen there. One was at night, and the other during the day. I think the name badge said sam. She gave her employee's attitude harrassing them because someone called about a mistake order. Ive seen MAYBE 3 people actually care in that place out of what seems like 20 people. The food is disgusting and greasy. When confronted about food being cold they get really rude about a customer behind their back. Rolls arent even TOASTED. Theyre cold and hard. Clearly this place doesnt even care. They should shut down and give those that truly do care a different store.
Walked to Burger king in the cold and storm yesterday and everyone was extremely rude! The girl with the blonde hair told me its NOT my problem the inside was locked at 6pm but the drive thru was open? They're rude here she told me drive thru or no service okay that's fine. NEVER again will I come here.

This location is the worst. My fiance does DoorDash and he was there picking up an order and the employees not only neglected the order, but made food for their friends FREE OF CHARGE before tending to the orders of actual paying customers. This caused my fiance to go beyond his delivery time and left people who actually paid for their food waiting a ridiculous amount of time. Pick a different BK if you're in the area.
Refused to honor my app order Accidentally placed an order at a different location they wouldn't help me with the order they wouldn't give me the food and there are no refunds What horrible customer service how rude can you possibly be
Starting mobile orders when dashers or other people get there is not and will never be acceptable. Compensate the drivers with free food and drinks or don't do that
The girl who was taking orders for the drive-thru was very rude. Pulled up with a mobile order. Normally you say your name and the order number so that they can reference your order. She asked what would I like. I replied that I had a mobile order and said my name. Then I proceeded to give the order number. While I was talked she interrupted me 3 times and repeated "let me look". Very ride. Not like it was a long explanation it was literally 3 numbers.
I don’t blame the employees; I blame management. We were the first people on line inside, and there were about 3 cars in the drive-thru when we arrived. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes - with no one in front of us - to place our order. No one spoke to us to apologize for the wait or tell us how much longer it would be. We were never acknowledged. After 15 minutes of just standing there, we left. We did overhear the staff talking about someone calling out at the last minute. They are clearly understaffed. I feel bad for the kids who work there.
