We stopped in on a busy Friday evening, the place was hoping busy. We were seated in about 15 min. Mary was our server and she was great, friendly, fast and attentive. Our food was nice and hot, not over portioned. We even ordered dessert. My husband had the blonde brownie and I had the chocolate lava cake.

Food is always delicious... We did an order and pick up this time and when we got to the car we noticed we were missing the kids drink but before my husband could get a foot away from the car the employee was already approaching him with the chocolate milk. The milk could have been a little bit colder but with such great service, it was late night too, we wouldn't dare complain, plus our toddler usually likes warm milk anyways.

The staff are absolutely fantastic! Eric and Ashley are fantastic! Always so memorable. The make the experience worth coming regularly. It’s always a pleasure having management stop by and say hello. The food is always excellent and the prices can’t be beat!

Great service especially for being Mother's Day. The wait was about 50 minutes to an hour but worth the wait. Our server made sure our drinks were never empty. Food was delicious and grilled perfectly. Ordered Salmon plate with crisp tender broccoli and red skin mashed potatoes, both 6oz and 8oz top sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli, burbon steak topped caramelized onions and mashed potatoes.

Sat at the bar, ate and had drinks. Ashley R was the only one at the bar. She was amazing. Fast, efficient, kind ect. A one woman show for sure and succeeded on all levels! Thank you Ashley!

Not sure if Tyson is the general manager or a shift manager but if not the GM, he should be. Absolutely stellar customer service . A mistake was made on my order and not only did they turn the grill back on just before close in order to remake the item (which. I completely understand is a big headache for the kitchen staff) , but he also remade the side fries which he didn’t need to do , asked me to keep the wrong item which I’d brought in to return to them, but also says he is sending a GC to my email as a “sorry for the mistake” gesture . This blew me away. I was so impressed. He really went well beyond my expectations and I want to give him the recognition he deserves as well as the kitchen staff who had to remake it. Thanks a million!

I decided to call in my order today so I didn't have to wait and Jessica was so polite and accurate. She even asked if I wanted to order any dessert for later. When I arrived to pick up my order everything was perfect and waiting for me. When I got home I noticed a sticker on the bag that stated my order had been checked for accuracy by Jessica. I think every restraunt should have those stickers...holding the ed employee accountable....way to go Applebees your doing a Great job!

I had an amazing experience at this establishment thanks to the exceptional service provided by Eva the bartender and the remarkable management skills of Diana. Both of them deserve a solid 5-star rating. Eva, the bartender, was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the drink menu. Her recommendations were on point, and the cocktails she made were outstanding. Eva's attention to detail and impeccable skills behind the bar made every drink a delight. Diana, the manager, ensured everything ran smoothly throughout my visit. She was attentive to guests. Great job!

We went in late at night to split a meal. We got the Bourbon Street Mushroom Swiss Burger. Didn’t want the spice so we ordered with no Cajun spices or black pepper sauce. We substituted fries for onion rings. This was a great meal. Really good flavor and the burger itself was done just right with crispy edges and a fresh bun! We’ll definitely do this again!

If I could give this visit 10 stars I would Avi is the literal best. Very helpful professional playfulness. Made the whole experience feel like I was at home with family. Idk how much she makes but she deserves more.

Applebee's Grill + Bar is my new favorite place to eat. The food and service are simply fantastic! The prices are far below what I expect from a restaurant of this quality. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves great food at fantastic prices. Applebee's is also a great restaurant for families.

Zach provided impeccable service as our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. The manager, Diana, was incredibly sweet and made us feel welcomed. The food was served hot and delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We came on a slow Wednesday night, for the first time and we had a really great time. I came in with my sister and her hubby. We sat at the bar and Lizzie was our bartender. She is the sweetest thing! I feel like her personality really made our visit fun, she was so patient with us and our 100 questions! We'll come back again for sure!

Went for lunch there wasn't a lot of people there so it made it nice we ordered the two for $25 and then the add 250 for the bourbon Bacon burger Best choice we could have made that Burger was delicious. A real thing of beauty. When my wife and I first saw the burgers we weren't sure how we were going to eat it he was pretty big/tall. The onion rings that we ordered were really good they were cooked just perfect they're crunchy. Best decision we made that day. The waiter was friendly and professional making it easy to enjoy our meal.

Like they say, “Eat’g Good in the Neighborhood”! It was late and hadn’t had something to eat. That’s not unusual for this Realtor when I’ve been busy all day. Not a good habit but C’est la vie! Decided it was a worthy day for a late night happy hour. But where is that around here? Applebee’s just a consistent good place and good deals. The steak had a good flavor but I knew going in that this is not a top shelf steak (but neither is the price). So it satisfied my craving and did the job. You get what you pay for - Just like when you hire a Realtor- there’s top shelf and there’s satisfactory which gets the job done. You pick.

Located on Newport Rd & Haun Rd near the 215 FWY with plenty of parking. We have been coming to this location for many years now and have always been happy with the service here. Their prices remain very reasonable. We stopped for dinner this Saturday evening at about 8:30 pm and were seated immediately. Today, I ordered their '8oz Sirloin Steak', and it tasted great. Shout out to our server, Miguel, who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. The restaurant is clean and organized, with a full bar and plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant showing live sports. This location never disappoints. We'll definitely return.

The specials 2 for $25 is a good deal. Service was good. However, the food had a bit too much salt. And the boneless chicken wings seem more like chicken nuggets - chicken breast shaped like wings.

It was nice, empty (we had early lunch), the server was nice although didnt offer refilled on our empty water.

It's Friday night so there was a little bit of a wait, but the crowd was happy and calm so it was no problem. Enjoyed excellent service super thumbs up to Kyle. Steak was juicy and tasty and fabulous! Ribs were just a touch spicy for me but they were still really good. I just couldn't eat very many. Had our constant favorite which is the wonton tacos if you have not tried them you absolutely have to. Again a little crowded but what do you expect on a Friday night in a popular place.

Went with girlfriends for lunch on rainy Thursday. Best deal is on back of menu 2 for 25 or 2 for 30. Artichoke spinach dip was awesome. Food was very tasty. Portion size is great for the price.

We've been coming to Applebee's due to their $25 Trio meal and it's really great value for the quantity of the meal. Comes with 2 entree and 1 appetizer and they're really big portions. Our server, Zach is very friendly and nice too. Would recommend this place if your in Menifee area.

Happy hour is good 👍. Beware the ladies room door. The "pull" handle to get out is odd, and the door is so heavy you're going to need to pull hard, wait ✋️ for the slow open and then exit. Even before a Perfect Margarita I've been clobbered by that door more than once.

And they didn't disappoint I order the 2x26 deal with the spinach and artichoke dip with the flavor still the same since I went to one 6 Yeats a go then we have the oriental chicken salad and the BBQ Riblets plate both full of flavor the dressing on the salad on point and I substitute for grill chicken my only complaint the Riblets ad a lot of little pieces of bone on it making hard to enjoy my wife also order a captain Bahama Mama in a bucket jajaja which she said it was soo good. Ordered drinks appetizers and lunch. Drinks came when we were done with appetizers . Our food didn't have much flavor. Salad was good per my daughter. We also ordered Alfredo to go. He didn't like it after a few bites and tossed it. Honestly wasn't worth the money nor will we return. I use to go to Applebee's in the past. But food has changed.

They were short staffed in the kitchen on a Friday night. So they had a longer wait than expected. Our server was Sara and she was extremely kind and attentive. My food came out incorrectly three times and my date's food was cold waiting for mine to arrive. Considering the issues with my meal, I would have thought the manager would have stopped by to check on us. It's been a while since I worked in a restaurant but I feel their service could have been better. My food was so salty I really couldn't eat much of it. I had the impossible burger which I asked for patty only (no bread) with steamed broccoli. Probably would not give them a second to try based on the salt. Of everything else, that was my deal breaker.

The waiter was good. Atmosphere okay. The chicken alfredo was overloaded with chicken. The alfredo was dry. No spoon was supplied. No cheese available to add but since the dish was so dry the cheese would have made it worse.

Today was not good, I went before and ordered the steak meal and it's was pretty good. Today for an appetizer I ordered the boneless wing Asian zing, it wasn't for me it had too much breading and sauce was overpowering and salty, with too much soy sauce in it. We also ordered the riblets (I think that's the name), dry and tasted like liquid smoke was slathered all over them, the dipping sauce was way sweet and overwhelming, there is nothing subtle about these sauces, I won't order these items again..

My husband’s appetite began to diminish after going to the men’s bathroom where it was not dirty but disgusting. He says there was water or some type of liquid all over. Then we had an emergency and had to ask our server to make our food to go and I got my order wrong. Not much I could do after I left. We ate the queso dip when we first sat down and it was cold and tasteless. Even the consistency was not that of a dip, it was not good. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience and will probably not return. We used to like it but not anymore.

Our server was very nice, the inside of the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Drinks and salads came out quickly. Their dressings aren’t bad but they’re not great either. Ranch has good flavor but way too thin and runny. I ordered the riblet lunch special and my wife got a cheese burger. Food was slow to come out but the fries and ribs were tasty. Burger was good too but greasy. I’d come again it’s not bad but not special either hence the three stars. It’s an Applebee’s.

You never know about this place! Sometimes friendly and sometimes ignored. Food is usually good - but the wait can be long. It's our go-to place when we have to eat at a later hour (after church). We enjoy most of their foods, but they sure could use some help in management and a much more friendly and RESPONSIVE hostess greeting when we walk in!!! Have to add this: last time we were there we were told the wait was 1 1/2-2hours!!! It was late, after about 9pm (weeks ago). We have not been back since. It is ridiculous to tell people that long a wait - it says you're not interested in them as customers. Many tables were empty!

We ate here because it was close to our Marriott Fairfield Inn across the street. We could almost walk to it, but we drove it was hot. Plenty of parking right next to the restaurant. The menu is varied. The service was just okay. Our server Isaiah A was professional, courteous, and helpful. He had a tendency to disappear on us. Paying the bill took too long and we had trouble wither device on the table ( not user friendly). Good place for salads and an inexpensive meal.

Food was okay but our service was the worst we have ever had there. Order was taken incorrect or the kitchen made it wrong. We were there about 345pm and there was a table to the side of us and 2 women were drunk and still ordered drinks. They made a large yelling and argument from a bar seat with a child on ladies lap. After 15 mins the bartender finally addressed that issue.

The food was not great. Ribs were not tender a waist of my money. Had to request new French fries because they tasted day old. The service wasn't great either. The waitress Sandra had no personality what so ever. She was very boring and seemed if though she didn't want to be working. She had no smile, definitely did not like her job! could barely hear her when she spoke. Did not leave a tip because the service was very poor and food was overcooked. Meet my sisters for lunch and this is the place they chose. What a disappointing lunch. Will not return for a second dose of disappointment.

Good food as always, good service as well. We were able to get seated right away after being told 45 minute wait across the street at the Olive garden. So that was a great plus The only reason I wasn't super happy about it was that restaurant was half empty, there was about 10 tables occupied and host would not let our family of five seat on the corner booths. There was two available.. she said she had to keep it empty for larger parties and I wanted to say what large party? The restaurant is empty. But I didn't want to be mean so I didn't say anything... Take a look at I'll text picture showing entire row including the corner booth staying empty for entire time we were there lol I actually was in celebratory mood so was going to have some drinks and apps and whatnot but sitting in a tight booth with three kids next to another booth with small baby fussing and semi-crying, I no longer felt like celebrating so we just ate and left. But I wish management would learn and train them better because they would have got to at least double the size ticket from us if they let us have the empty booth that was empty anyway.... Fyi, This was a very slow Monday evening dinner time...

I don't think I will be going to Applebee's again anytime soon First thing odd was we had to wait along with several other parties when there were in fact many tables open it was 20 till 6 the hostess said about 20 min , another patron remarked oh happy hour ends at six ....I didn't think of that or if it had any meaning but certainly makes sense ...I ordered the special with the salad a burger and wings for a buck .it was so cold in the place I had to get my elderly mother out of there so we got boxes and took the food to go ....we ate at home...Thursday night by Friday afternoon I had become terribly sick and was on the verge of the ER come Saturday...I'm not sure what the bug was but I bet it rhythms with food poisoning being raised in a restaurant I should know things to avoid such as blue cheese dressing coleslaw and perhaps hamburger meat ...could be fact could be coincidence...funny thing I was telling my friend about it and he remarked he and his family went to Applebee's recently and he and two of his kids got sick in the same manner ...I can say the server did her best in a situation she couldn't control like the temperature in the place so hat's off to her getting our food to go

That the food is good service not so much. We posted this 2 years ago and then we went and had a wonderful experience with Mike as our server and now it was AWFUL, Wes is the manager? And was our server and he was not good, he didn't even give us silverware and our friend ordered ONLY a salad and bread sticks and never got her bread and when we inquired at the end of our meals he said "we were out so I cancelled your order" never any other communication. When paying our bills our friends paid cash directly to Wes and we explained they were paying the tip 'although undeserved in my mind' and when I paid with my credit card he charged for a 20% tip 😳 don't think we will return

I was a little disappointed, the food was cold and dry. We had to secure our own cutlery. The pretzel appetizer was the best part of the meal. It wasn't very busy, but not sure if they were short staffed or not.

We arrived to see a lot of young employees hanging around the front and back of the restaurant. They were very nice, but had little direction. Even though one whole side of the restaurant was vacant, and they had plenty of servers, customers were told they had a forty minute wait. The floor was filthy and apparently the groups of employees were "too busy" to take a broom and give it a light sweeping. Another customer asked for the manager, and was told the manager was in the back. We never saw the manager. We asked for napkins, and a young man said he didn't know if they had any! He did return with a couple. Our server was the bright spot. She was attentive and delightful. There are many sweet young people working here, but they have no direction, and we saw a lot of inefficiency. The manager needs to provide stronger direction until they have more experience. My steak was overly rare, but I didn't send it back, because I was afraid of what would happen!

I’ve been a loyal Applebee’s customer for quite some time, and I usually enjoy my visits, especially when my favorite bartender is around, Eva. I usually go to see her when I know she is working. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, my experience was far from enjoyable. I ordered my usual drink – which is super simple – but Eva wasn’t there. It felt like pulling teeth to get it made properly. The staff seemed unfamiliar with the drink and the service was frustratingly slow. What should have been a quick and easy experience became unnecessarily difficult. It’s disappointing when consistency is lacking, especially with something as basic as ordering a drink. I hope this can be addressed so future visits will be more enjoyable, as they typically have been in the past. I

Yeah ... Wasn't feeling Apple Bees today - mostly the service. I asked what type of IPA beer they had and was told by the waitress "Sam Adams" 🙄. No such thing. I told her to bring it - but she somehow didn't bring any beer. It was way Lackluster service.

Definitely not my favorite place. We came here because my son won an award for a kids meal or mozzarella sticks. He opted for the mozzarella sticks and rook 1 bite, but my husband and I finished them. They were your typical frozen and fried cheese sticks. We ordered the two for $27 meal, and I really wish I hadn't. The stuffed rigatoni was awful and really dry. The ribs were tough and hard to eat. I also ordered a French onion soup. I'm glad I did, because it was the only tasty thing I had. The kids had chicken strips, and they were a hit. UT was pretty slow when we were there, but the service was lacking. No one asked us how our food was, I had to flag someone down for a refill on my iced tea, and there was absolutely no pre-bussing. Every empty dish and glass was on our table until after we left, that is one of my biggest pet peeves, so it may not bother everyone. Somehow we spent about $80, and most of the food went in the trash. The only reason I would come back would be if my son received another award and wanted to use it. At least now I know to just stick with the French onion soup.

We attempted to eat here for a late lunch (2:45). There were quite a few people in line, waiting to put their name on the list but noticed a bunch of empty tables. The bar was packed though and everyone sitting there had food and two people waiting on them, bartender included. After about 10 minutes of waiting, someone finally came up to the front and told us it would be about 45 minutes to be seated. I asked if they were short staffed and was told they weren't, that they were just busy. We were told that we could be seated at the bar right away. Mind you, we had our toddler with us. I'm just confused why they were favoring the bar over the rest of the restaurant?? We left because who wants to wait 45 minutes for a table and possibly that same amount of time once seated since we weren't going to be able to sit at the bar.

Definitely not coming back to this location again or even any Applebees. Went in Friday the 14th around 845-900 at night. We sat at the bar and ordered. I usually get the same meal which is the fiesta lime chicken. Ordered it and food came out it looked good. Started to eat the chicken and rice. The rice was cold like it came out the refrigerator. The chicken was warm however it’s covered in a cilantro cream sauce which is hot so it’s hard to say if it was cooked properly. I told the waitress about my cold rice. It took about 12 minutes for her to bring me the rice and it was terrible. There were chunks of rice stuck together that were really hard like a rock. I Didn’t finish the food. I paid the bill and left. The next morning I was terribly sick. Figured it was food poisoning. Can’t say if it was the chicken or the rice. I can say it was the worse feeling I have ever had. Never have I been so sick like this. Body aches all day and night. Not able to control any digestive at all. It completely dehydrated me. It’s Monday now and I’m still having some affects from Friday. I wasn’t going to say anything but after reading reviews about this location I see multiple people have gone through this problem. They really need to train their people better on how to cook food with out causing people to get really sick.

Server we had stood in the corner talking to coworkers about New Years parties and other things most of the time while we were there. Took forever for her to even greet us let alone come back for our drink order. She did ask if we were ok, but seemed like at the wrong time. Had to ask for things multiple times (straws from bar because she forgot, refills, box). Just seemed super preoccupied with social stuff. Spoke to the manager and he didn't even seemed like he knew how to handle the situation "I'll talk to her" so your next visit is better. Won't be coming back

It would be nice if they didnt give us a server who's too busy behind the bar. She never gave us napkins. Stood away for too long to offer condiments or refills, or desert. She brought me the to-go order while we were still eating. About 15 minutes into eating, and she brings it. I asked her not to make that order until I asked for the check. So, it was cold by the time we got home. their plates got tiny. For 2 orders of the honey glazed chicken with with mac and cheese was about $30. it didnt even fill that container they came in. Horribly cheap and small portion. It wasn't like this a few years back. Not the best service I've seen in a while. But I still tipped her $15. Maybe she'll do better next time.

I don't go often, but every once in a while, I'll try it again . Just ate there last week, and I'm just not a fan of their food at all.. I tried the honey chili mac n cheese . I was shocked absolutely not real cheese it was so dry, no flavor. The chicken strips were ok, but not even hot or crispy. It was like the heated up kind from frozen section. It really was not good at all.

Ridiculous. An employee that was off, came in to dine with a friend. 15 minutes after we were sat, they were sat. Took me saying something to get our waters after the same server brought the off duty employee theirs. Then a table of 8 show up… 25 minutes after we’d been sat. We gave our server our order when. 10 minutes later off duty guy gets food. 5 minutes after that the large party gets their food. We wait 10 more minutes and decide to leave. As we walked away, our food was finally coming. I asked to speak to the manager. Mr Browne came out and seemed very disinterested in what I had to say. Would not even look at me. I wasn’t yelling nor did I have a raised voice, as I tried to tell him what was happening. I literally had to ask him if he was ok and with me so far. He said that he was already informed about the issue and had planned on comping our meal. He explained that the boneless wings were behind and taking longer. Had our server told us of this delay that she knew, we could have switched it up until the wings were ready. Communication when it comes to customer service goes a long way.At that point we were leaving, so I declined. Mr Browne did offer to wrap it up to go. I declined this as well. Not trying to get something free. I wanted reasonable service and for the manager to at least pretend that he would work with his staff on this. Bummer Applebees.

Will never be back. Manager is incompetent and so is the majority of the staff. Bartender was on point though Food was under cooked, sent back and all the did was tear apart everything threw it on the grill and reserved it

Welp hubby kept bringing this place up as an option but I knew after reading the reviews it was going to be bad .. but I let him have his pick lol service was horrible no one smiles everyone's at the bar joking with other co workers whilst we are waiting 15 min to even order drinks . Food was not good . The boneless wings were cold small and disappointing . The fries with our burgers were portioned sooo small for the price ! Along with the burgers itself!! Broccoli was cold , strawberry's / yogurt for my daughter's kids meal looked old . She didn't eat it . Almost 100$ and we will not be back .

After waiting a long time for our food to come out the food was cold, the pasta dishes had no sauce, chicken wasn’t crispy, etc. One person in our party ordered an appetizer and it came out the same time as the entrees. It even took them a very long time to bring the drinks, which some came out way after the food came out. Needless to say we will never go back to this restaurant. Spent over $200.

Very disappointed with this location. Went there for lunch with two kids and my teen. We all ordered our food at the same time. My chicken bowl came out 20-30 mins after the kids food. Waitress explained kids meals and appetizers always come out first. So I sat there while they ate all their food. They were all pretty much done when I got mine. Worst part is that it was not even good. All the waiting was not even worth it. I can't understand how it took so much longer to cook. Just a bunch of dry rice with some chicken. Never going there again. I'm so disappointed.

Waited for a long time for our food despite the place being mostly empty. When food arrived my riblets were barely warm, fries were hot though, and another person at the table said their food was barely warm. When bringing the food out initially they asked if we wanted to order a second helping (had the all you can eat) and they said “they take a while to cook…not sure why the took so long to come out barely warm. Checking some of the reviews seems good temp is a common complaint….i think they need to seriously inspect this kitchen for their practices and maybe retrain cooking crew and procedures

Terrible, I don't know how anyone eats this stuff. I ordered 4 cheese mac and cheese with the black pepper honey tenders. First of all there was no mac or cheese just noodle and mystery sauce and the chicken tasted like high-school cafeteria slop with sugar water.

We had the 8oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was gritty as if it had been frozen for a while. The broccoli was overcooked. The mashed potatoes were okay. I also got a margaritas is it wasn't very good. Don't waste your money. Update 5/24/2025 The manager resolved the issue and offered several options for making this right! Thank you.

So for starters the service started off right we ordered our drinks and appetizers but then my mom got her steak salad and she ordered it well done then I came out almost rare (the Meat) and when packing up leftovers of her salad she found a hair at the bottom of the plate and another longer hair that we pull out aswell. We didn’t want to complain at all we just wanted to pay and leave but when we found the hair it changed our whole attitude about this evenings service thanks a lot kitchen. You guys did great at shaming a whole restaurant!

Establishment should be cleaner and food better I feel like cause it’s Menifee the Applebees owner doesn’t care

Sadly we sat at our table for about 30 minutes before our waiter came to take our order and then our food arrived cold. We waited on drinks for an above average time. This was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this establishment.

We have been to this Applebee's several times in the past few months and always had great service and the waitresses have always been VERY polite and very accommodating to ANY requests. Today, however, we had a VERY poor experience here with a dark haired young man as our server. (I wish I had his name but it all went bad so fast that I didn't catch it.) I ordered a chicken sandwich and specifically stated that I would like grilled chicken instead of breaded and no mayo please. Server then proceeded to go thru every item that was included on the sandwich to ensure I wanted everything. I told him everything was fine just grilled chicken and no mayo. When our order was delivered, by a different server, I discovered that my chicken was breaded not grilled and informed that server. She stated she would let our server know. The dark haired young man returned to our table and I informed him of the problem. He said no problem walked to the other side of the aisle and picked up a small plate. He returned and said, "I'll just take your sandwich and leave the fries." (I would have preferred he take the whole plate as is customary when there's a problem. I did not want to eat all the fries without a sandwich or wait for the sandwich and have cold fries.) I put the sandwich on the plate and as he turned around he said in a nasty, sarcastic tone and loud enough for everyone to hear, "Thanks for THROWING that sandwich on the plate for me!" He proceeded to walk away and my husband called him back and told him that the way he spoke to me was very inappropriate. He said NOTHING and proceeded to walk away. My husband became very upset by his disrespect and asked to see the manager. By the time the manager came, we'd had enough and told the manager that the server had been disrespectful. The manager attempted to apologize but my husband told him that our dining experience had been ruined and we were finished. (We have NEVER left a restaurant like that and in over 40 years of marriage, I have never seen my husband that upset!) We left and went to another establishment for lunch. I'm hoping this dark haired young man is no longer employed at this establishment for the benefit of others who may come here in the future. I would hate for anyone else to be treated VERY disrespectfully.
