Delicious cochinita pibil tacos, right off Mérida's vibrant market. The owner was very friendly and let me practice my Spanish with him too. Great food, great people - what more could you want!
We've eaten cochinita pibil and suckling pig tortas at various places in Mérida, and this is by far the best! We overheard a customer complaining about the "high prices," which is a lie since a good cochinita pibil is worth every penny! The only thing that's changed is the friendliness of the service; not a single smile, and they serve you without any enthusiasm. The habanero salsa needs improvement.
We arrived at the market looking for another place that had been recommended to us, but it was closed. However, someone told us, "Don't worry, go to Ramírez's place; he has the best cochinita pibil and suckling pig you'll ever taste." And it was true! First, I tried the cochinita, and then some succulent suckling pig tacos. I couldn't decide which I preferred. The man who sells the tacos is super friendly and attentive, as are the guys who are serving. Honestly, I highly recommend it, and I'll gladly return when I'm back in Mérida.

Since the 90s, it's been a traditional breakfast spot for me and two other friends. The quality and flavor are unmatched. If you're not a big fan of roast suckling pig, believe me, this place will change your mind. I recommend it today and always.

We ate today at this small taqueria in Bazar García Rejón and had a very positive experience. Delicious suckling pig and cochinita pibil sandwiches at a good price (45 pesos each). We also had a pleasant chat with the owner about Mexico and Spain, sister countries. Highly recommended.

En domingo, Los tacos y las tortas de cochinita, son imperdibles para un yucateco. Tratando de no abusar, pues la grasa en exceso no esta recomendada en una dieta sana.
The tacos and tortas are very good, both the suckling pig and the cochunita.
They charged me more for the cakes, and when I asked why, they didn't know what to say. Besides, the attitude of the lady who serves is terrible.
