I would like them to extend their opening hours, as we live a bit far away and between traffic and traffic lights, it's often closed by the time we arrive. Excellent food and fast service.
Everything is delicious, especially the cochinita pibil and suckling pig tortas and tacos. You can order to go or eat there. They also sell refreshing and cold sodas and aguas frescas. I highly recommend it.
The best cochinita pibil in Mérida! They have tacos and tortas. Both cochinita and suckling pig are delicious, and they even have half-liter glass bottles of Coke Zero! :o They don't accept card payments, but you can transfer money. Parking is easy in the surrounding area, and as long as you're in Mérida, it's a must-visit.
Great food, friendly staff, clean restaurant
It's the best cochinita and suckling pig I've ever tried. I love that they're open during the week, so you can eat whenever you want, not just on "cochinita Sundays." And if you don't want to wait in line on Sundays, you can place your order via WhatsApp and just pick it up. They accept payments by bank transfer and cash.
An excellent place for breakfast, with the best cochinita and suckling pig tortas. They serve it instantly. I recommend that if you like spicy food, ask for it without onion and add the onion with habanero sauce from the table.
Best cochinita and lechon i have ever had! Service is great.
The tacos are good but not the best. The service leaves a lot to be desired. At least when I went, it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over to check if I'd been served, which obviously bothered me. The tacos and tortas are reasonably priced, in my opinion, because they do have enough meat. I just asked for it plain without the skin, and they did. It also took a while to bring me the bill. If you're in the area, this would be a good place to eat cochinita tacos, but if you're far away, it's not worth going all the way there; for my palate, they don't have enough flavor.

I spent a month and a half in Merida looking for the best cochinita. I tried many famous restaurants and none of them have the cochinita not the lechón as delicious as they are at this humble restaurant. Best lechón ever and the cochinita was amazing. Prices are very adorable. You cannot really have something more traditional within Merida for only a few bucks.

Cold food. Stale bread. You order cochinita pibil and they bring you suckling pig, and it's cold too, served with cold, stale bread. The flavor is bland and very simple, perhaps because it's cold. I don't recommend it. They only accept bank transfers and cash. They don't have an electronic payment terminal. I won't be back.
Terrible. I got up in the middle of the night expecting a good experience, and the first thing I ordered was castacan in my torta. I received a tiny piece, literally, not even half the torta. I asked if they could give me more, or if they couldn't offer more, if they could sell me some extra, and nothing. They just said it wasn't possible, and I felt like they were doing me a favor. The person serving my torta made a comment about how they were going to get used to it. Then the torta arrived cold, and the tacos I ordered were also cold. I got up at 4:30 in the morning, expecting a good experience, and I'm very disappointed. I don't recommend it. The service is terrible, and I expected much more from the food. Unless you like eating cold food and being treated like you're being given a favor, this is the ideal place.
