This was one of the better dining experiences I have ever had in my life! Frankie was our server and he served up the best amberjack and hanger steak! Everything was perfect including the atmosphere!It was my first time and I will definitely be back!

This was probably some of the best food and service I have ever received! I tasted all four of my friends food as well and it was delicious! This is a must if you are in the area! Kinda fancy but definitely worth it!

We had a delicious meal, fried solf shell crab with perfect green beans and potatoes!!! Also what would a wonderful dinner be without a fabulous bread pudding for dessert!!! But wile having dinning there the other night someone from the management was talking to a regular customer about how Cafe B was planning to close soon... We are very sorry to here this and hope something changes in their favor..

Worth the drive in from Baton Rouge to meet two long-time, school friends for brunch that lasted through dinner time. Our server, Jessica was fabulous! Chef accommodated my food allergy. Had reservations about ordering the black drum but Jessica was confident I wouldn't be sorry and I wasn't...decided to add crabmeat and to forgo the egg...it was DELICIOUS. A tad bit pricey for lunch as everything is ala carte if not ordering from the Brunch Specials but all in all, the quality of food was worth it. Will be back. Don't forget to ask for Jessica.

David the Waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, Food was exquisite. The potato encrusted snapper on the summer prie fix menu is amazing, the fish was perfectly cooked and very fresh. The lobster ravioli (a signature dish from what I understand) was perfectly cooked and an overall well balanced delicious dish.

Off the beaten path on Madrone Lane near the creepy, this is a great place to pause and get a yummy treat. The ice cream is hand made, as is the sorbet with enough flavors to keep you coming back again and again. It's so good it seems healthy!

Excellent breakfast, served prompt , hot and delicious. Service was brisk and friendly. Great location for biz breakfast. Wish I would have come sooner. Need to add breakfast hours to Google page.

Lemon offered with water. For hot summer evening rose wine great. Broiled Mahi-mahi with mushrooms and spaghetti squash was excellent in flavor and served hot. Crisp egg-plants sticks with dip for an appetizer. Excellent creme brulet and coffee for dessert. YUMMY!

This restaurant was AMAZING!!!! There is exquisite food for all ages, vegetarians and vegans. I HIGHLY suggest the oysters, and the AMAZING burger. I will definitely be back for lunch,dinner, and brunch!

Ate at Cafe B's for our anniversary. Service by Stacey was great as was the food. This is the best unknown restaurant on Metairie Road and likely all of Metairie. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Parking can be a challenge here. Very small parking lot and the people at AT&T reserve spots even though there was no one there. This was the first time we ate here. The service and food was good, but unfortunately they sat us next to a large party with four kids. We focused in on the summertime crab fest. I had the “fish of the day” with crab. This turned out to be sheep-head. The quick sear on the outside gave the fish a slight crust that maintained the moisture and taste. We also had the lobster ravioli. At the end of the meal, be sure to save some room for coffee. Some of the best I have tasted.

Great neighborhood upscale restaurant. Attentive staff and a full bar. The grilled romaine and crab salad is to die for and chicken bonne femme ( on the photo ) different than anything you had before. A must try.

Very nice ....very busy Thanksgiving day so will forgive for not getting the bread/butter and cranberry sauce....!! Very lovely meal and atmosphere....sad to hear it will close! Best gumbo ever anywhere in the state the guests said....the dark roux was outstanding....thankyou

I enjoyed my lunch at Cafe B. The ambiance was really nice and service impeccable. The complimentary bread is delicious!!! I ordered the sautéed redfish bordelaise. The redfish could have been seasoned better, but it paired nicely with the rest of the dish. The shrimp had a nice flavor and the lemon butter sauce pulled everything together. I was disappointed because the description stated that it came with garlic sautéed greens. Well...the greens were raw, not cooked/sautéed at all. I though they were a piece of garnish on my plate. I asked the waitress if those were the greens and she unfortunately said yes. Overall, the meal was slightly above average. However, I also thought it was overpriced.

Good food. Great service. I'm wondering if the business is showing signs of slowing down as they haven't been very busy lately during happy hour.

Nice place. Good service most of the times. They cancelled the happy hour oyster special that was one of the reasons to visit it; so we don't visit it as often now.

Great food as long as you can wait a little while for the entree's Update: Arrived and visited the bar. Bartender Andrew was welcoming and my wife and I ordered 2 Jack and Cokes. They were mixed perfectly. When we were seated for dinner our waitress Sara was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and service was great.

Ate at the bar--good food, good drinks, bartender/server too busy and preoccupied to provide adequate service. Saw one party leave prior to being served. When a service provider is the central contact point for customers, it is vital to look around and pay attention to the people you are serving. Management attention and training required.

Giving it a 3 mostly for ambiance and presentation. For a place that obviously put a lot of thought into decor and place settings the food was very plain and bland. Not bad, not inedible at all, but just not what you'd expect from a place like this. For a better breakfast experience, try Refuel off Carrollton Ave or Trolley Stop on St Charles. Food has never let me down at those places.

Brunch was not up to par.

We went to the Sunday Brunch. The waiter was a very tall guy, with gray hair. Wait staff had on jeans. Jeans with linen table cloths and napkins seems strange to me. Our waiter must have been hung over or something. He even wore sun glasses part of the time. He couldn't seem to pour orange juice and champagne with dripping it all over the glasses, table, one of the 4 of us and into my take home bag! My glass was sticky the entire time. This is a Brennan's restaurant. ...right? Before our food came, the waiter brought us miniature blueberry muffins! If you can't give a full size muffin with the prices you charge....save yourself the embarrassment! I have never been to a Brennan's restaurant and left disappointed until now!

I went with my Granddaughter for a grilled cheese sandwich. She was served a bowl of mac and cheese. Wrong order. Grilled cheese sandwich came and was not appealing for a child being on the children's menu. It should be removed for kids. The bread was a hard pungent multigrain. At least change the bread to the same as the hamburger bun which was pretty good. I ordered the Filet Mignon. Came great prepared the way I wanted. Small side portions like 7 thin shoestring green beans and potatoes au gratin that could have been a heartier portion. I got hamburger to go supposedly cooked medium like I ordered. My fault for not checking before I left. It was way overcooked and dry. It had a pimento cheese sauce that really was prepared well. Actually had a better burger at the Swamp room for less. Maybe the Chef ought to try one of theirs. Learn how to know when it is cooked Medium. The asparagus were done right and the sauce for them was very flavorful and not overpowered with the mustard. I had to get a bowl of turtle soup lil sherry on top. I would call it a chowder. There was a thickness about it that could plaster a hole in the wall. It lumped up like a thick biscuit gravy and didn't settle out evenly in the bowl and that's how it came from the kitchen. As far as any turtle meat in there it was a process ground almost non existent. The waitress was really nice and informative for any questions. Apologizing for the mishap. The Manager was equally apologetic. Didn't get a free cocktail though even after I was brought someone else's check. Also, if you are allergic to any nuts, please ask first. I may be wrong the Mardi Gras ice cream tased like a nougat was in it. We liked the ice cream. Overall for $117 + $25 tip we will not be considering Cafe B again. Just a bad experience.

Ridiculous prices for mediocre food

They have criminals working there. They obviously don't drug screen their workers.

HORRIBLE!! We had to wait over 30 minutes for simple breakfast entrées and others (OTHERS) got their food with or before us. Eggs were nasty. Grits and sausage were good. Ordered a RED sangria (took 45 minutes) and got some white drink instead and told to "try this"..... Just ridiculous.
