They stuffed the hell out of my tacos and gave a generous portion of sauces, salsas, and sides. So, you can decide how much stuff (onions, cilantro, lime, etc.) goes in the taco. A lot of different options to choose from and my tab was only $11!!! Way better than what some other places around here are trying to charge. Very happy I took the walk.

I really like this restaurant and hit it whenever I go to Algodones. The fresh grilled meat is tasty and there is a generous array of fresh vegetables and sauces served with your meal and tortilla chips. The service is swift and polite. The bathrooms are clean. It is also a great value. I get four hefty fresh-grilled tacos with a glass bottled Coca-Cola and the tab only comes to $11! Compare to that to some of the other restaurants that only serve so-so food and charge twice as much.

Consistently best food in Algodones Mexico!

Exceptional food and service. The gentleman that served as waiter treated me exceptionally well. He was there to intervene when some of the people selling things were being pushy and invasive and he answered questions honestly and with integrity about specifics and claims of their merchandise. He chose honesty and integrity without hesitation. He was clearly an honerable man and I value his service not only as a great and attentive waiter but as a honest decent gentleman who was protective and genuinely cared about his patrons. The food quality and service are the best i have experienced in this town consistently and i have had the pleasure of dining there for almost 3 years apprx. The prices were the best in town as well. I would rate my experience 10 stars if I were allowed to. My full breakfast eggs bacon tortillas awesome condiments (salsa guacamole a delicious mayonnaise based sauce) with two sodas chips etc was well under 10 dollars. And the orange slice and cucumbers and other garnishments were served in a way that shows the highest level of care and class. It was an honor to tip well and he deserved it. This great place deserves great patrons.

Everytime visit Algodones it's a MUST to eat here! 1st time I tried shredded beef taco, usually stick to chicken, and it was so good, and I added refried beans, incredibly flavorful! Big Margaritas and you can taste the tequila! Gave 4 stars for atmosphere bcz small place and had guy singing with guitar, was kinda loud.

Been going here for several years. The food is very good and we trust the quality. The owner is always there and takes a direct role in making sure you're a satisfied patron. I give them 5 star's for the authentic and great taste. Don't forget to take home some fresh tamales. You won't get any better traditional south of the border food.

Went by there because we were out looking for a place to have a couple of drinks before the next day oral surgery. Wish we had found them earlier because the place smelled great but they were no longer serving food. The margaritas, however, were very large and delicious along with fairly priced. Will go try their chimis next time for sure.

He is also known to help locals out that cannot afford food themselves Much better meat quality and flavor than the places that are close to him. It’s always my goto and has been consistent ! Great selection of snacks and sauces when you order as well! DEFINALY try the breaded fish tacos ! My favorite there !!!!

We had Al pastor taco’s with cheese and grilled shrimp tacos. The food was unbelievable. They bring you the basic tacos and you load them up the way you line with the different salsas and sides you have available to you on your table. This place is great. They don’t really have a menu, you can order anything the way you like it and they will cook it for you (Mexican food of course)

Breakfast steak, like all the meats, was cooked upfront on an charcoal grill. When I was done I happily payed $12 to the bilingual staff member. Not everyone is bilingual in this town but everyone is friendly.

This is my favorite place to eat in Los Algodones. What caught my eye at was the big sign that said if you don’t like, you don’t have to pay for it. This restaurant is exactly as it should be. Good fresh authentic Mexican cuisine. Try everything.

I took off one star because street vendors asked me every two minutes to buy something. No prices posted here, and social distancing just doesn't happen. But the food is good, there's plenty of it, and you have to love a place that grills meat on the street side of the sidewalk. I had the biggest chile relleno I've ever seen, eggs, rice, beans and a beef taco--plus a huge supply of salsas and chips. $11 with a fresh pineapple juice. It's definitely a multi-generational place with kids, parents and grandparents.

Salsa is great!! but the Al Pastor is not the best neither is the asada. Shrimp Taco was Good it comes breaded though I wasn't expecting that, I liked it though. Service is Good Extra attentive. Price is Affordable is You're looking to same some cash this is the place.

I've been here a few times while getting dental work done. The staff makes sure you get good food. It is quick and delicious food. Today there was a troubadour singing, playing guitar and pipes. Always something going on.

Food its ok. But great service. I do not like the fact that, its not clear to me if I am eating left over on the salsa and chips. It dosnt apear that thay trow away youre left overs, so juck. I dont like the fact that thay dont list prices, and recently thay charge more than even usa. I will not go back fir this reazon.

We had been there several times in the past and enjoyed our meal. This last time may be the last. Our order got lost, then delayed, and a half hour later our meal arrived and my meal was not even what I ordered. I just ate it but not something I would order so it is hard to say it was bad. I didn't like it but I didn't order it. In a positive note, they have complimentary chips and several sauces that were very tasty.

We’ve been there several times always been a great experience, love the tortilla soup! Yesterday was not so great, the owner who has always been good at waiting on us took our drink order then totally ignored us for more than an hour, when we finally got him to take our food order I asked him how much for the drinks we were served we were leaving, he said nothing, just leave. We will be back, and give him another chance because the food is so good!

We ordered chicken thinking it was coming from the grill, no they gave us some from the back, it was cold and rubbery. The waiter was rude when we asked to have the chicken from the grill. We did not eat it and left, went next door and had excellent chicken.

Honest truth. The owner doesn't put prices because he comes up with them himself. One day he charged us a bit over $15 for three meals, then he charged us over $20 for 2 the next day. We even witnessed him charge 2 white guys $14 bucks each for 2 tacos and a soda. That's all they ordered. Guy recycles his salsa and chips. If your white looking, you will be scammed. If you're Hispanic like me, he'll be rude. I let the owner know we were done and ready to go but the guy kept avoiding us. I was the one that had to go up to him to pay. OH, and on Sundays, El Paraiso is open so go their.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. We started with chips and a variety of salsas, which were authentic and tasty. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. I ordered the carne asada plate, but the meat was tough and lacked seasoning. My wife’s asada and al pastor tacos weren't much better. ​While the general staff was friendly, the atmosphere was ruined by an older man (who appeared to be the owner) openly mistreating his employees. To top it off, prices aren't posted, and we were hit with a $30 USD bill, which is quite high for the quality and location. I’ll be staying far away from this place in the future.
