Avis sur Zú Café Mexico
The best atmosphere, the beer is delicious and they serve it in mugs, not like in other places, but on the side.
Good ❤️
It's a place that's open from 10 PM to 2 AM at night, and it's a typical spot to go to the bar for beers or other drinks! It's a good place to go with friends or your girlfriend! Although the bathrooms are very small. And the staff are very attentive!
Well priced and good variety of beers
I went this Saturday, everything was going well, the rock band was truly amazing, until when I asked for the bill the waitress wrote the tip amount on my receipt. As far as I know, tips are left according to our wishes, not what they ask for. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the band was playing, which was the only good thing about the place.
I tried Tequila Sunrise but it was almost only juice. I couldn’t get the taste of tequila.
A friend highly recommended it to me, but today I called to see if I was talking to the coffee shop and it's no longer there.
Terrible service. The police shut down their establishment because they didn't have the permits, and they made us pay the full price. Never come back.
We had barely been served what we ordered when they brought us the bill because they were going to cut the cash register. They wanted to charge us the tip straight away, and when we said they needed to cut the cash register, we'd rather pay for our bill right then and there and then, and leave the tip until the end (since it wasn't the only thing we planned to order), they said no, that the tip was mandatory. Plus, obviously, if we ordered again later, they would give us a new ticket and try to charge us another tip. In the end, the waitress got angry, wouldn't give us our change, and just charged us the tip straight away :) I won't go again.
Unfortunately, I ordered a 5L missile, but they either served me burnt draft beer or diluted it. The taste was absolutely horrible; it seemed like I was just drinking water. The bathroom had no water.
The chicken wings looked like rat feet. 90 pesos for 3 and a half wings, lol.
Terrible place. They intimidate you with the bill, the waitresses overcharge you, they're homophobic and violent, and it's not safe for diners. In addition to the awful service, the food is horrible and they don't honor promotions. Don't go; save yourself the trouble.
All staff called us in there like they wanted our business then they all sat down to eat didn't get service they had a ashtray but got told no smoking then I went to get my own napkins straw and beer since nobody was attending us and she got up from eating and said don't do that she will get in trouble. She should already been in trouble for not delivering our food and eating herself then the bill came and she had the nerve to add her own tip !!!
They sold us a jar of Michelado for 50 varos extra and told us it came with chamoy and gummies, but it was only frosted with Tajín. The most discounted beer I've ever had; I'll never go back.
HORRIBLE. AVOID. I was in a food hole and went here. I live in CDMX and this is easily the worst restaurant I have ever "eaten" at. Their menu is mainly alcohol, we ordered lemonade. They have like 5 things on their "menu." I ordered steak tacos, they were out of steak at 1pm on a weekday. So I ordered a gringa. We waited 35 minutes - there was one other customer. Eventually they brought out our gringa and it was a dang plate of cut-up hot dogs. We ate one bite, it was so disgusting. All this for over 500 pesos and a 35 minute wait. Within 5 blocks of here you can get 15 delicious tacos at any taco cart for less than that. Even the lemonade was disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE. ZERO STARS.
We are still waiting to be notified when we will return to work, or to proceed through the necessary channels with the appropriate authorities. Those in charge, who may act as our bosses, should remember that a lawsuit will be filed against those responsible. There are several blind spots in the premises, and if necessary, I will find each one of them so that what was built with such effort can be lost; just as they don't care about the work of others. Have a great night. Thank you for your attention, Oswaldo Soria.
