Delicious food and hands down the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. We ordered chicken fried chicken and the shrimp po boy sandwich. Both were delicious. Service was polite and quick. There was ample parking at front and stairs plus wheelchair accessible ramp. There are so many great dishes on their menu, we can't wait to go back.
My favorite restaurant in town. They have the best tasting southern food by far. We come every other weekend for brunch and occasionally do dinner but since they changed their times we mostly do brunch. The food is DELICIOUS and the Ambience is very relaxing ,they updated their outside area and it looks nice. It just has this home feel vibe we’re we always feel welcomed. Favorite waiter by far is gus, super attentive and friendly and always ready to please. I love to come here and love love love their food, never met the chef but he is AMAZING!
We opted to sit outdoors, and despite the warm weather, it was remarkably refreshing. The food was delectable, and the ambiance was top-notch. The only minor issue I had was locating the entrance, but other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!
We had a delicious lunch here. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We had the chicken and waffle and captain crunch French toast. Not pictured was fried biscuits and fried green tomatoes. Come hungry, leave happy!
Such a hidden gem in Miami Springs. Love the laid back atmosphere of this place. It’s like being key west without the long drive. We’ve eaten the pork chop, chicken fried chicken, fried bread pudding is insane!! Whether it’s lunch, brunch or dinner... you can’t go wrong.
The food was amazing. Everything i ordered was delicious. One of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had. I will be back to try more things.
This location is like a hidden gem. It's a very old style place and the decor is not like mind blowing but the food was super good. You can literally drive right by it if it wasn't for the GPS. There's no parking lot just side parking along the restaurant or along the canal. Gordon Ramsay would say 'you need a sign mate' lol. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. The indoor is very small. The food was really good. We were a party of 6 two of us ordered the chicken and waffle. My boyfriend had the hog, my cousin had the caption crunch French toast. My other two cousins had the fried chicken benedict and the brisket hash. All the food was amazing. My waffles I'm not sure if they were homemade or frozen and I wasn't a fan of the candy bacon, it was different but too much black peppers. You do have to try the fried bread pudding that alone was worth the visit. Omg that thing was so good. Overall I did enjoy my visit. I would definitely come back but have something different. I did want to try there homemade potato. And our total for 6 people with two mimosas and one beer the total was 125 without tip.
We stopped in on a Saturday evening for dinner. We ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken which came with an excellent battered crusted chicken and mash potatos plus a side and we chose mac and cheese the meal was delicious and fresh. We also had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta, which was excellent, big size shrimps, with andouille sausage, penne pasta and cheese! Both entrees were excellent. For desert we ordered the Fried Bread Pudding! It comes warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and all I can say is that its amazingly good! The folks were friendly and attentive. Pricing is very fair for the quality of the food and the service. Highly recommend this place!
I have been here twice March 29 and May 17 of 2022. Both times were good I ordered the fried okra both times as I like okra. I ordered the mahi mahi plate, and some blackened fish the second time. I like their side items on the fish entrees as well. The soup, i forget what the soup was , but it was good as well. Overall both times were a good experience and I will definitely go back
3rd Update! Still amazing food just keeps getting better and better. Chicken and waffles fried okra , chicken fried chicken! 2nd update! Under new management! It’s back baby! Original menu restored. Yes! Thank you Resturant Gods. So feel free to come by and support this local restaurant food was amazing original cooks I did find out. Update! It has gone downhill! No fried ocra no bacon jam? We left thank God they did remove the chicken fried chicken ! It was empty too! Really disappointed it was our favorite local restaurant! We tried Sunday brunch as a last ditch effort please do not go to Crackers it has really become a terrible restaurant avoid ! At all costs! The brunch was terrible! Which was amazing! This is one of my favorite restaurants of the area! The food is always incredible. I highly recommend it. The chicken fried steak special is my favorite. Still the best restaurant in the area.
The food is just AMAZING, is not an fancy place, but the food is so so so good. I will back soon. The server was super nice, I don’t remember her name, but Blonde with green(blue) eyes. The fried biscuits OMGGG, the chicken tasted so tender 😍thanks.
I totally enjoyed my experience here. The food was awesome and so was the service. My husband had chicken & waffles. I had chicken with southern gravy with cheesy grits. The grits were soooo smooth. The fried okra was delicious and so were the fried biscuits. Please try them!
Holy Wow!! This is Southern-inspired goodness in Miami. Off the beaten path and totally worth it. The servers are gracious and the servings are copious. If there is still room for dessert, the selection will take you back to sweeter times. Brunch foods worth trying: Captain Crunch French Toast, Fried chicken Benedict, shrimp and grits & a meatloaf stack. If you are looking for comfort food that will make your eyes roll back in your head in utter pleasure...
First time visiting. It was really amazing the mix of flavors in our dishes, I had the chicken and waffles which came with a hot honey that had a kick to it in sweet spice. Also, the biscuits and grave were freshly done soft and tender. The Mac and cheese balls were yummy with a bacon dip. The waffles were fluffy and soft mixed with strawberries and blueberries with bacon strips soooo flavourful. The other plate was fried country chicken steak with eggs, bacon, toast, and gravy. We loved it so much that we were talking about it all day to family members and will be returning soon with more people. We went on a Sunday around noon. The waitress was super nice but very rushed, I think, because she only checked up on us once and then brought the tab. Which we paid, and since it took her a while to come back, we had to leave without saying thank you and had to leave the paying machine on the table after paying. Overall, we loved it and will return. I think a little more staff would be better to give a five-star on service!

We love visiting this gem in Miami Springs . The relaxed atmosphere I think leads you to enjoy your meal more . We started with the fried Okra and bacon jam spread. Very nice and I can't remember a place I have visited that had bacon jam . We had the Meatloaf and the fried Catfish for dinner. The Catfish was fried nicely , flakey and delicious. The Meatloaf had a very gravey instead of what most people expect ketchup or bar b que sauce. For desert we had the fried bread pudding with ice cream. You can taste the homemade goodness in this desert . And that's why we come. Homemade food made right .

Great food, atmosphere and service. The green fried tomatoes and fried okra were excellent. Loved the cozy ambiance. Noice level was minimal. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Went for a weekday lunch, with only an hour to spare, and service was fast. I liked that the menu offered a unique fare compared to other eateries in the area. Loved this place!
We were recommended this spot for breakfast, the service was great, the food was good too, I definitely recommend the fried biscuits. It had a honey butter that was delicious! The avocado toast was fresh. The green tomatoes were crunchy and fresh. I would say this place is 6/10. I would recommend to try it, limited menu but good for brunch
Crackers was super good. Eventhough that when we arrived we were the only ones in the restaurant we decided to give it a try. Once again Yelp didn't stirred me wrong. Megan, our waitress, was super nice and she recommended that we try the fried green tomatoes and the clam steamers. Both delicious. I preferred the clams which came served with garlic bread and the clam broth was light, lemony and delicate. My favorite of all. Also ordered the chicken fried chicken and although it was good not my favorite. The gravy was a bit to heavy for me. That comes with 2 sides which we picked collard greens and mashed potatoes. The collard greens were a bit smoky from their stock and it had a bit of a kick. (Very good). Maybe next time I will try the fried catfish which I hear it is very good here. Beer and wine ... yes. Overall prices are very moderate and the place looks clean and inviting. Nice outdoor dining area.
The food was good but a little expensive for the amount you get. The waffles are good, but warning, they already sweet without syrup. I didn't care for the cap n crunch cereal French toast that much but my son liked it. Food came out pretty quick and our waiter was very nice and timely.
Food was tasty. We had Mac and cheese bites, fruitty pebbles coated French toast, fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, and shrimp and grits. Prices were reasonable, every dish was well executed- crispy chicken, French toast and waffles. The waffles was sweet. The grits were a bit too creamy for my taste but flavor was good. Restaurant had a nice patio seating area and a garden

The fried chicken tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all. I don't think I've ever been to a southern restaurant where I've had to add any salt, let alone the ton it took to make my meal taste like something. The presentation is all it had going for it. I've never been more disappointed by fried chicken. I had such high expectations.
