Every time we come to Amici’s the food is fantastic. The pizza is one of the best in Miami. If you want awesome Italian food and pizza, go there. The pizza is the best in Miami. The garlic rolls are tender, full of garlic and Parmesan cheese. We get the eggplant Parmesan and it’s the best I have ever eaten. I have ordered this dish in other cities and countries and they don’t compare to Amici’s. We love this place. You won’t regret it!!

this was my friend and I’s first time going to a restaurant in miami and i am so glad that we picked this place. first of all they were very generous with complimentary garlic knots (which were inanely good). the food was incredible i got the fettuccini alfredo and bruschetta. i also got the tiramisu as dessert and it was DELICIOUS they make it in house and it altered my brain chemistry. however, the best part about this experience was how amazing our waiter Daniel was. he answered every question that i had about the menu in extreme detail and passion and ultimately helped me decide what to eat. he was also not afraid to tell us what he liked AND disliked. we greatly appreciate his honesty. additionally, the atmosphere was comforting and the music was a vibe. :)

Being a New Yorker trough and trough had to go experience Amicis first had highly recommended by various friends and I have to tell you not at all disappointed the food was fresh to order plates came out piping hot and with lots of flavor the chef out did themselves very authentic Italian cuisine the service was very good felt like I was at home they were not stingy with the bread or garlic knots one of my favorites, being that the food was so good had to try a slice of pizza it was good very cheese but for my personal taste I like a little more tomato sauce but otherwise excellent definitely will be back

This is my third visit here and each time was consistent. The food was good, not over seasoned, a large portion and very reasonably priced. The service was good and our waitress would always check on us. We never came here during there busy time so I cannot speak for that. My go to Italian dish is spaghetti and meatballs and I think they did a great job with taste and portion size. I will absolutely return! My review today is based on a pick up order. I ordered food for pick up and when I arrived they gave me my food and when I got to my car I realized that they forgot a part of my order and I had to go back inside to get my missing order. When I got home which was less than a 10 minute drive we sat down for dinner and we unfortunately found the garlic rolls to be hard which often they are typically amazing. They were hard and unable to eat. We tried to microwave them to hopefully get them soft but that didn’t help. I believe whoever placed them in the bag for me to take home had to realize that they were not soft and should have never given those to us. My advice to anyone who is picking up an order would be to check everything which is a lesson learned for myself. And what was sad is that the time of our order and pick up was a very slow time.

I went here 10/19/2021 to get some food. I hadn't eaten all day and wanted to check this place out. This is an Italian restaurant that serves pizza, and pasta dishes mostly. You can get seafood dishes without the pasta. You can also get appetizers without the pasta as well. The calamari is still breaded so not completely gluten free , but needed to ask them about gluten free pasta. But overall good meal and I started eating it before taking photos. It was good. I do recommend

Food here taste great! Garlic bread is not drenched in oil but really perfect. And pizza is huge. The medium and large doesn't even fit on the table. They put it on the side of the table. Pizza taste great and perfect. I had a lemon drop which was also on point. Really great spot to come and get a great pizza.

I felt compelled to leave a review because I had some of the best gnocchi at this very restaurant. I recommend trying it with the sorrentino sauce. You would never think a gem like this would exist in a quiet suburban area. Their tiramisu is also heavenly. A Uruguayan chef makes it and it's the best I've ever had. 5/5

Nice restaurant! The food was excellent, Alex did a great job with our dishes! We love this place. My husband and I went to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Our server was professional. We felt special when the head waiter Diego came to our table to congratulate us and offer to buy us a dessert to celebrate, we were taken with by the attention he gave us. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Tony for making our anniversary great. We’ll be back for our 11th anniversary.

What an excellent restaurant I moved away so I have not been here in about 10 years, but I was very surprised when I visited the restaurant last week. The food was just as delicious as it was 10 years or more. Thank you for keeping that standard.

I can’t express the amazing experience I had at this restaurant. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious. Due to COVID I was concerned about the sanitation but everything was impeccable. Upon seating, Samuel greeted himself and explained every dish that we wanted to try. Samuel was so welcoming and made us feel so welcome and like we were at home. He was well mannered and we couldn’t have asked for a better server. He was attentive regardless of how busy the restaurant was. I will be back because this was an incredible experience!

I've been living across the street from one of the top two places to get the best pizza and authentic Italian food. Delicious. Best everything . I love sharing this place with everyone my mom my friends and still have not tried everything because once you taste a favorite you might want more. Stuffed shells manicotti and lasagna pizza o highly recommend.

Amicis is one of the best italian restaurants out there! A great selection of wine, the pasta my boyfriend and I each had (spaghetti a la carbonara and penne al salmon) was delicious, and the dessert we finished our meal with (chocolate mousse) was to die for. Mariana, our waitress attended us with a smile and cheerful personality throughout the entire dinner experience. 100% recommend this restaurant!

We have been coming to Amicis for many years. The food, the servers, the atmosphere never disappoints us. This is a great place to come eat or yo have drinks with friends.

The service here was absolutely incredible. I didn't catch his name, but it was on par with the best service I've ever had. This place is an oasis of upscale hidden in a grungy little plaza. The pizza was nothing special, but I suggest that if you are going here, pizza shouldn't be your endgame. I also had eggplant, which was probably the best I've ever had. Prices are a little high considering where you are at in the city but its understandable considering the atmosphere, service, and food quality. Go here!

My family and i accidentally found this hidden gem of an authentic Italian restaurant! The pizza was Forrrgetttaboutttit!!!!!! Top 5 in kendall . BUT the food was crazy good and fresh ! U just cant get a bad dish here ! Service was perfect !! Prices were very very reasonable and a manager kept walking around making sure everyones dining experience was in true form of excellence... Highly recommend..

This is the only restaurant I missed when we moved out of Miami. We finally made it back to visit. And it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, as usual, and the service and atmosphere were fantastic. I wish we had one here in Tennessee.

Lunch special monday-friday. This plate cost $8.95 (however the spaghetti usually comes with marinara sauce. Alfredo sauce is a $2 upcharge). Can't beat this price and value

I used to frequent this restaurant with my girlfriend before she became my wife almost 10 years ago... We have been here a few times over the past years and decided to come back while we were in town. So... We took my grandma here for her birthday and she loved it! Usually picky with restaurants and doesn't like to go to new places for her birthday, she was very happy overall. All the food was good and mostly authentic flavors. Good service as well as good atmosphere. There was no live music the day we went but we still enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely eat here again in the future when we are in Miami.

Love the Italian American selection and portion sizes! Lunch is an amazing deal with their top sellers as options and a 4.95 two-slice and soda deal.

Hidden gem in the Hammocks. Generous portions, fair prices, fresh garlic rolls, and attentive staff. My family has been coming here for about ten years. We love it. The tiramisu is so good that it should come with a warning to not eat it too fast. Family friendly, but also great for date night.

Italian owned restaurant in the Hammocks. Kendall area. We were greeted promptly and were seated close to the bar. We ordered bruschetta, calamari, pepperoni pizza, chicken parmesean, shrimp scampi, chicken francaise, and 3 glasses of moscato. The food was delicious. Tony, the owner, made sure everything was great. He's from Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, New York; the real deal! Not too busy on a Monday night. Good value!

I recommend these items to anyone who has had a bad experience with italian food. Last but not least I had to try a dessert! I tried the Chocolate moose cake. It was pretty good, as moose cakes are. I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca with Angel hair pasta. The dessert were super good, we got the vanilla flan and the chocolate mousse, yes, we ate both dessert 😋 the capuchino was good as well. We ordered a Large pizza to go and we ate the pizza at home, it was super good as well. We recommend this plac. See pictures The only cons, the red wine was cold.

You will not be disappointed with the food, especially the pizza!!! Their lunch special is also great! However the service is average to under average, the hostess is always doing something else and the waitress takes quite a while. It's one of those places where take out is a lot better than dining in.

Best pizza in West Kendall by far. The large size is really large and they put a decent amount of cheese. Lately other pizzeria in the area you ask for large and cheese and they give you a small pizza with lack of cheese ( I call them “cheese surprise” pizza). Update: Today I ordered a large cheese pizza and drove took it to relatives… it was burnt. Word of advice check pizza before leaving … it was a disappointment

Friendly service in a clean open modern atmosphere with downtown vibes. Italian sandwich was good with provolone that took center stage instead of just the salumi. Bread was okay but toasted held up to the oil and vinegar. After meal espresso was smooth and full bodied. Very good value for the quality. I'll be back to try the pizza and pasta next.

The food here is consistently great, the family and I have been eating at Amici's for many years (15+). Portions are large and the pasta dishes are fantastic. When ordering to go call with ample time cause it gets busy early. Would have gotten 5 stars but the service is really lacking.

I've ordered from here a few times and eaten in once and overall have enjoyed the food and portion sizes. The indoor ambiance was welcoming, the decor has a nice modern flair, and the service was great. My one complaint are the garlic rolls which are always absolutely drenched in oil whenever I order takeout. I love myself a healthy dose of olive oil, but feeling like I'm biting into a soaking sponge is way too much. I don't think we had this problem when dining in.

The place is nice and the service was super, the Alfredo could have used a little bit more sauce but overall the food was good, maybe dunce we went right before they closed, well try them again soon.

The linguini vongole is insane. Every time I went to lunch I just couldn't help myself getting it-the quality and taste were simply too good to pass up! I still need to try literally everything else, but I go every time I'm craving Italian!

Amicis have been a family favorite for many years in the Kendall area. I ordered takeout today and was very disappointed. The portion sizes reduced and cold. The garlic rolls smashed and smothered in oil and now they even charged extra for the salad. 😞😞😞

Food was great overall! The only reason for this review being 5 stars is the staff. This restaurant is very understaffed, there is only 1 server for the whole salon, and this is the third time we come during lunch and it’s always like this. Order and food take long to arrive because of this and the server is always in a rush. Other than that, food is good overwall.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this neighborhood Italian spot for years because of their great food, but sadly, I’ve had enough of the frustrating service. Recently, I tried ordering directly through their website to avoid UberEats fees. Big mistake. The website automatically added a 20% tip and a $3 delivery fee, totaling $15 in fees, with no way to edit it. Even worse, I couldn’t select a cash payment option because the order “exceeded the amount.” When I called to cancel, as their website suggests, the woman on the phone told me it wasn’t possible. Really? If I’m paying a premium to order directly from the restaurant, I expect a smoother process and better customer service. To make matters worse, the side salad that used to come with entrees is no longer included. Their website still lists dressing options under each entrée (pictured below), so I assumed the salad was part of the order. I even called to remind them, as a previous order had been missing the salad, but was told this time that they stopped including it over a year ago – yet entrée prices have still gone up. After paying $15 in delivery and tip fees and explaining my frustration, you’d think the lady would have added two $2 side salads as a gesture of goodwill, but nope. The food is fantastic, but the service is abysmal. It’s a shame to see a long-time favorite lose touch with customer experience. I’ll have to think twice before ordering again.

The dining experience was nice but the take out was not as good as expected. The taste was great, but the temperature was the issue. It was very cold! Once again, the taste is great but the pizza was way too cold. I recommend adding phone text notifications for when the pizza is ready out of the oven.

Today, I went to that restaurant to buy a pizza to go. The person who attended me, who was at the register today, was not friendly, nor was she disrespectful. But you know, you want to have better service or a warm attention that makes you feel welcome where you are. And it’s something you’re buying, something you’re paying for. It’s not something you’re getting for free. The food was good, but the cashier’s service today was not good at all.

A co-worker suggested this restaurant, first time ordering from Amici's. We first ordered delivery which was through a third party, and after more than an hour the delivery driver cancelled the order. I called the restaurant directly and ordered a take out. The restaurant looked nice inside when I collected my order, which was ready when promised. Meatballs are a bit grizzly and unimpressive, but I did like the marinara sauce. The Pizza was well done, as requested, but way to much cheese. I like the thin crust, and the pizza has minimal sauce itself. Don't know that I'll repeat the experience.

We had the calamari as an appetizer which is always delicious here. However i don’t think the breading was cooked all the way or even seasoned for that matter. We had the pizza which was great. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs, the sauce tasted watered down. I had the penne vodka with breaded chicken. I was surprised this meal wasn’t delicious as it’s usually always made to perfection at other locations at least. The dish was boring and it did not have wow factor. The breading was old , the chicken was dry and the sauce was flavorless. It tasted like velveeta cheese and tomato sauce. It was greasy. I wish i wouldn’t have spent so much on this meal, I drove 35 mins for food i could’ve made better at home. our bill was 75$ and i was really disappointed.

I have been ordering food and also dining in Amicis for years, always loved it. This time I ordered several pies, garlic bread, and shrimp Alfredo. I was extremely disappointed in the food. The garlic bread was dry with very little garlic and olive oil. The pizza was under cooked and the shrimp was rubbery and had a funny taste. I'm hoping they improve, it was one of my favorite.

Very disappointed how the quality of food has diminished as well as portion sizes. You need to seriously include Happy Hour also food/drinks. Bring back music , guy that use to sing was great.

My family has ALWAYS bought food from here…always liked the service and portions they always serve. This time around the side of fettuccine Alfredo barely had any sauce. Asked for Parmesan cheese on the side to put on the pastas when we get home, asked them multiple times for it, they said it’s already in the bag, got home, no Parmesan. The salads like you can see, look nothing like the ones served at the restaurant. Maybe the chef thought it was a good idea to use all the part of the lettuce including the stems as well as old lettuce. The bread rolls tasted like they were from the day before, maybe because we ordered so early? Hope they take care of take out orders a bit more and this is just a one time experience.

Soooo, I ordered the lasagna, it was just very salty and no ricotta cheese! Just a hell of a lot of cheese! Very oily also! So I put it in this container because I don’t eat a lot and this what it looks like. Sorry my first and last time eating here. I just wasted 28.00

Pizza was overcooked, crust was very hard, cheese was barely melted, not sure what happened to this place. Disappointed!

Been going here for over 16 years. Today was told salad was not included. It was before . Prices were raised too. Will not go back!

Used to love this place but today is the last time they get any money from me. Placed an online order and its says 45 minute wait for delivery. An hour later and still nothing. The manager said very rudely she couldn't give a refund or discount because on Friday they are too busy and it takes 1 and a half hours for delivery which is not what we were told when we called after 20 minutes passed the delivery estimated time. We were told the pizza was on it way and were just hung up on! Horrible customer service. We order pizza every Friday from different places and we have never waited this long. Last time we order from them. Took 2 hours and got here cold! Good thing we have other options! Good riddance.

Just got home 5 minutes ago after picking up a pizza. Garlic rolls were warm. The pizza was cold 🥶. I called to tell them about it and instead of taking responsibility for it they tried to put it back on me. When I called ahead to order , I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived in 20 minutes. The girl at the front asked me to wait because the Garlic rolls weren't ready. I waited for 10 minutes and took my pizza with the garlic rolls home. I only live 5 minutes away. How can the pizza be cold ? The only way is if the person cooking it left it out instead keeping it WARM ! HELL EVEN DOMINOS PIZZA IS ALWAYS WARM WHEN IT GETS HOME.

The food was very bland and did not have any seasoning on it at all and the chicken was tough. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta. It was a nice portion size, however it was nasty. The garlic rolls were drenched and had an overwhelming amount of garlic on them. I will not be returning.

Shame on the owners of this restaurant! They have one single person attending the entire restaurant! That is absolutely insane and disrespectful to their employee. The waitress was working way harder than she needed to in order to keep all the customers served. I understand if the restaurant is short staffed or had call outs but where are the owners? In these situations the owners so should be here and help to ensure that customers are being taken care of. Absolutely insane for the owners to care so little.

I'm usually not a person to write reviews. but today I have received the worst service in this restaurant. I ordered a chicken alfredo and for some unknown reason it took more than 35 minutes for them to bring it, the salad they brought me was not fresh at all. I asked for a lemonate , I drank it before they brought me the main course, and I finished eating and they never asked me if I wanted another one or offered me another one until they came to bring me the check. There were only two people serving about 9 tables. everyone asking for their drinks. I am very disappointed because it was one of the favorite places where I take my family regularly. Never again!!

As a regular customer who recommends Amici’s to almost everyone, I am completely disappointed with the service I have received today. I went in for dinner and ordered a salad. Mid way, I noticed a dead bug in the bottom of the plate. I am pregnant and this completely grossed me out to the point I threw up everything I had eaten. I asked to speak to the manager and told her the issue. She responded with “that’s not going to do anything to the baby.” While this was not the point of the issue, I expected an apology or some sort of decency from a restaurant manager. The comment was extremely uncalled for, and in my opinion, disrespectful. Very disappointed in the management from a restaurant I always order for any party or event I have. However, our waiter was amazing and apologized several times.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and got this! Barely any pepperoni on it. I hope this only happens once I've ordered this before never happened. After what I paid I should get a decent amount of pepperoni.

I never Leave bad reviews but I am a bit upset! I went on 1/05 and I used to come to this restaurant often but unfortunately yesterday was my last! I ordered a Penne Vodka with salmon everything seemed great until 3 hours later I had to go to the hospital for food poisoning and all the food came back up!!! (Definitely not a good time) Please be careful when ordering any fish related items at this restaurant.

Unhappy is all! I order 3 times a week here, lately, things have changed. Watch out for the website. I dont know the difference between a calzone and a stromboli. On the website, it doesn't tell you what it is or the contents. I ordered the calzone thinking its what I have ordered a while back. I simply dont remember what I ordered in the past. I simply wanted (cheese and pepperonni) I get this thing thats totally undercooked, with this slop of white like cottage cheese mess, with drooping cheese in this undercooked doughy mess. Very disappointing!! I call and speak to Chris, and he tells me oh, well get you another one out. Apparently its the stromboli that has the cheese and pepperoni, not the calzone, but the website does not tell you what either is. I cant stomach the calzone as its just not edible. So I get the replacement and I get charged another 14.00. So I spent 32.00 the first time and another 14.00. 46.00 for this mess. I Called Chris and he "says well I can call my website guy and ask him to add a description" But most people call and ask what it is. I order 3 times a week online and never issues like this. I think that Chris must be desperate, as the business is not good cause of the virus, but no credit, no nothing. Unfortunately, they lost a customer, as I will never call them again. Check your orders, Chris, you lost a great customer! ok so I may have ordered the wrong thing, but there is no description online, so you dont know what your ordering. Disappointing is all!

I’ve been a loyal Amici’s customer for 23 years — but today, May 8, was the last straw. The quality has hit rock bottom. My wife’s usual gnocchi was awful, the worst we’ve had. The customer service is a joke. You call, they throw you on hold for five minutes without a proper greeting, yelling “Amici’s, can you hold?” It’s rude and unprofessional. The pizza is inconsistent — sometimes decent, often bad. The only good thing left is the Colombian delivery guy, who’s always helpful and polite. But one good employee doesn’t make up for a failing restaurant. I’m done with Amici’s. Fix your food, fix your staff, and fix your service — or more loyal customers will walk away just like I did.

Disgusting . Very inconsistent sometimes it’s good and creamy other times it’s like this greasy literally nothing like penne alla vodka the cream is probably old and that’s why it’s separates so fast. Not coming here again
