Delicious food

This is a great restaurant! The ambiance is really nice. From the moment we arrived till we left, everything was great! We were seated promptly and our server brought us some water and gave us a minute to look at the menu. I had the eggs Benedict with potatoes and it was tasty. The rest of the entrees looked good too. For dessert, we had a milkshake that had Nutella and brownie pieces. It was delicious! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!

Birdie Bistro is the reincarnation of one of the most loved restaurants in Miami for almost the last three decades, Burger Bob’s. That was a breakfast/lunch diner on the Granada Golf Course, with a loyal clientele and excellent food, that sadly closed in 2021 due to some Coral Gables issues. Rita, the owner, fought hard to create a new space and Birdie Bistro is truly a masterpiece. Affordable breakfasts, tasty lunches and a varied menu with a gorgeous view of the Granada Golf Course, all in a brand new space where the original once stood! I know this review sounds like the owner/employee wrote it, but I’m just one of those loyal patrons of the original that is overjoyed with the new Birdie Bistro. A very well deserved 5 star review!

We had an absolute wonderful time. We were a group of about 15 guys from a bachelor party. All coming from different parts of the US. The staff made us feel right at home and even the customers were warm in their welcoming. The service & food was incredible. Servers were extremely nice and attentive. Again, making us feel very welcomed. Everyone individually had positive things to say about their experience. We are all honored to be the first Bachelor Party they served. For the past three years living in the Gables, I’ve heard countless tales of a beloved restaurant on the golf course with incredible food and an inviting, down-to-earth vibe… once known as “Burger Bob’s.” Now, with its grand reopening as Birdie Bistro, I’m thrilled to report that the magic hasn’t gone anywhere. The anticipation surrounding its return was electric, fueled by heartwarming stories of the owners’ dedication to their community and the fight to preserve this local gem against commercial redevelopment. And let me tell you, the wait was worth it. Birdie Bistro delivers on every level: the service is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is charming and nostalgic, and the food? Absolutely terrific - prepared quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, Birdie Bistro is more than a meal; it’s a piece of Coral Gables history, lovingly restored.

Just lovely place for breakfast and lunch. Visited twice and very impressed with the decor, service, ambiance, and food. The place is a gem!

Came for Sunday breakfast. Food was great. Bacon was nicely smoked. Generous portions. Our waitress was the only waitress for the whole restaurant.

This isn’t just brunch… it’s a culinary resurrection. First Course: A lineup of dishes so satisfying they’ll make you forget you promised to “eat light today.” Your belly will be joyfully full, and you’ll swear the Easter Bunny himself had a hand in the seasoning. Second Course: A selection crafted for those with a refined palate, think elegant, elevated, and just fancy enough to make you sit up straighter. These plates don’t just taste good; they whisper compliments to your soul. Let’s just say it’s friendly enough that you won’t need to pray over your bank account afterward. The Service: Warm, welcoming, and genuinely delightful. The staff treats you like family if your family actually listened when you said you were hungry. Bring your putter and work off those heavenly calories on the course. Nothing says “count your blessings” like sinking a putt after dessert.

Birdie's Bistro was very pleasant indeed, sitting outside by the golf course. The service was excellent, the food was very good, portions were decent and the fries were some of the best that we've had. It has a very casual atmosphere and very conducive for a quick and easy meal. This is a nice neighborhood establishment, and I would certainly be a regular.

Fui a desayunar el domingo. La comida estaba buenísima. El tocino estaba bien ahumado. Las raciones eran generosas. Nuestra camarera era la única en todo el restaurante.

My father took me here before we played some golf, with high hopes because he had enjoyed it in the past. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. When we arrived, no one acknowledged us, and the table we were seated at was dirty. The server who came to our table had an attitude, which didn’t help the experience. We ordered a cappuccino and a coffee without foam. Later, we ordered eggs Benedict, which were okay, but nothing special. Overall, this place is not what it used to be.
