Blue Lavender Café is such a gem! I went for lunch with a friend and we were blown away by both the food and the experience. I had the salmon bowl, the chef’s salad, and the butternut squash soup with gluten-free bread—everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they put care into accommodating gluten-free and vegan options without sacrificing taste. The service was amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The café itself is super cute and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch date or catching up with friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a charming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
Really nice place. GREAT service. And the food is healthy and delicious. I have had breakfast 3 mornings and could not have wanted anything else. And the coffee (double espresso) is fantastic well roasted. But the best part is the great service level. Makes one feel genuinely welcome.
We had a great experience here. Our server Roberto was friendly, attentive, and very professional. The meals were excellent—my burger was juicy and well-seasoned, topped with grilled onions and sauce, and paired perfectly with crispy fingerling potatoes and fresh vegetables. The oatmeal with fruit and candied nuts was hearty and flavorful, with a nice balance of textures and freshness. Overall, great service and delicious food—I’d definitely recommend this spot.
Really enjoyed this place for breakfast and coffee. Fresh, healthy options with vegan and gluten-free choices. Their lavender cappuccino was excellent, and they also had good non-dairy milk alternatives. Cozy vibe and very friendly, attentive service.
TOMI is the best person at this restaurant. He was verh polite, and helped us with what to order and what is the best at the place. I am vegetarian so it always give hard to time find something for us but this place have the best hummus toast. I loved it. I also like the coffee and they have so many options to pick from. I suggest everyone to visit this restaurant at least once.. you all will like it
I got the catch of the day which was salmon - it had a perfect crust! The rice was unique and had great flavor. The vegetables were cooked and seasoned well. I love how many gluten free options they have here! Highly recommend.
Everything was amazing, the food, the healthy options, the knowledge of the waiter, they went above and beyond! Delfi, Agos and Gonza were absolutely incredible! My new favourite spot in Miami beach.
Coffee was delicious. I got a vanilla and cinnamon latte. Also got the egg plate and my friend got açaí. Was all amazing. Gf!
Absolutely an amazing find for me! Food was delicious and I felt very safe eating here. I ordered the gluten free French Toast. Yum! We always come to South Beach every fall. This restaurant will be on my regular list to eat at.
The coffee was delicious and really well made. I don’t have many pictures because we couldn’t wait to try the carrot cake and it was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent; Robert and Jazmin were super friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back ♥️🤗🙌
Love this place! I love the coffee selections. Roberto is a great barista! Very friendly staff and good selections of gluten free food and organic options. Good atmosphere inside from the busy touristy sobe streets!
got the omelette, it was delicious! my friend got the GF pancakes, also very yummy. They have a great menu here, super friendly, great service. and to top it off the coffee was Delish!
Best lavender latte we've had anywhere!! Staff is VERY friendly! All the food was prepared to perfection. No seed oils!!
The Hummus toast was absolutely delicious. Bursting with flavor and amazing with two eggs!! A must have!!! Great service and cool vibe!!
A Delightful Spot for Fresh and Unique Flavors Blue Lavender Cafe & Market is a charming gem in Miami Beach that offers a wonderful dining experience. The food is absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and presented with a creative touch that makes every dish feel special. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, the menu offers a variety of options that cater to different tastes, including healthy and organic choices. The service is equally impressive, with a friendly and attentive staff who ensure that your visit is enjoyable from start to finish. The cafe itself is clean and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The addition of a market and gift shop adds a unique touch, making it more than just a place to eat. If you're in Miami Beach, Blue Lavender Cafe & Market is definitely worth a visit. It's a delightful combination of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment.
It's such a cute place with delicious food! There is plenty of seating, two floors inside, and a nice outdoor patio. Humus was great, got it on 2 occasions. Burger with grass fed beef was amazing! Lavander cappuccino is really good too. Definitely recommend trying this place.
First time here and I loved it. I mentioned my gluten allergy, and they immediately prepared my food in a SEPARATE AREA!! I felt very safe. The food was tasty, and the staff was super friendly. I’ll gladly come back again
I got to enjoy the Eggs Benedict on homemade gluten free bread with bacon. The splash of white wine in this dish is an excellent extra touch! Delfi and Gonza were very friendly servers. I took home some delicious gluten-free peanut butter cookies. I love the atmosphere, the music, and I think when I come back I’ll sit on the lovely patio.
I ordered the very good avocado toast. I liked it a lot. Julián's attention is very good, we don't speak English so he could speak Portuguese with me. I recommend 100. Obrigada Julian y Jaz :)
Gonza and Delphi were amazing service professionals. Very attentive. Super cool atmosphere, great gluten free options. Fresh juice ... Awesome desserts! Love this place - we will be back!
Love this place. Stayed in Miami for a conference and started every morning at Blue Lavender. Team are super friendly, food and smoothies are awesome.
We LOVED Blue Lavender. My acai bowl was the best I have had anywhere and my wife's omelet was perfect. The bacon is top notch. Two thumbs up.
Delicious coffee, lovely atmosphere, great service. My husband usually has to add a lot of sweetener to his coffee but thought their coffee was exactly right. I highly recommend their lavender cappuccino.
It was my fist time here and I had great experience. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I am gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy free. They had a lot of options for me. The place is great. I definitely recommend this place. This place is beautiful outside and inside. Thank you!
Wow wow If u like clean tasty salads and bowls this your place. Best lavender latte I have ever had On vacation and eating out a lot So good to get a healthy tasty meal Lovely setting Amazing service I would give it a 10 if I could😊😊
Gonza and Isaac are two of the best waiters on the beach. The attention and kindness they both showed us was much appreciated and noted. Because of this we will be back often. Thank you
Great coffee shop in Miami Beach; nice atmosphere, good service. Tasty lavender latte, very smooth; also tried one of their fresh cookies which was very moist and a bit like a soft cake inside, i loved it ! Highly recommend
We had wonderful breakfast. So impressed with this Cafe, lovely clean, modern and so many Gluten Free options. Our waiter Gusto was so friendly and attentive. Coming back tomorrow 😋
Absolutely love this place. It was my breakfast cafe during my vacation in South Beach. Food was fantastic with lots of options and service was great. Highly recommend and I will be back!
Love this place! Coming from the cold in the north and adjacent to a lovely little hotel. It's the perfect sunny little cafe with the best cold pressed juices!
I was here for breakfast. Great fresh food, coupled with excellent service. Isaac and Thomas were very efficient and made me feel welcome.
Tommy was a great server and I LOVE all the gluten free options. I would recommend the omelette with toast, I found the avocado toast to be a little too light. Clean cute atmosphere!
Blue Lavender Café is an absolute gem in South Beach! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and friendly smiles. The service was exceptional — attentive without being overbearing, and the staff genuinely seemed to care that I had a great experience. The food? Incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I tried the [insert a few items you loved — e.g., avocado toast, lavender latte, or breakfast bowl], and everything was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and so satisfying. The ingredients tasted high quality, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they do. The vibe is cozy yet chic — perfect for a relaxing brunch or coffee break. I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in South Beach. Highly recommend!
Really great café and co-working spot! Lots of open space and plenty of outlets, making it perfect for using a laptop, studying, or remote work. I only had a coffee, but it was good quality and reasonably priced, with affordable options overall. The staff were friendly and attentive—Thomas, my server, was especially polite and welcoming. Definitely recommend this café for anyone looking for an internet café or a cozy, comfortable place to work or relax.
✨ A must-visit gem! ✨ I popped into Blue Lavender Café after a morning run and was instantly welcomed by the kind and attentive Isaac, who set the tone for a truly delightful visit. ☕ The coffee? Next level. I stepped out of my usual go-to (Americano with a splash of oat) and tried their signature lavender cappuccino — it was subtle, inviting, and somehow both calming and energising. My second round, the Americano, was equally incredible. Smooth, silky, and beautifully balanced — none of that burnt or bitter aftertaste. Honestly, 12/10. These folks know coffee. 🍽️ Breakfast was perfect. I had the avo toast with a poached egg, and wow — the freshness of the ingredients was undeniable. From their house-pickled onions to the crunch of radishes and the heavenly sourdough, every bite was thoughtful and satisfying. It hit the spot and left me fuelled and happy. Warm atmosphere, top-tier coffee, and a team that makes you feel genuinely welcome — Blue Lavender is absolutely worth the visit. Can’t wait to return!
Visited South Beach for the week and got breakfast here every day! The french toast is incredible, my husband ordered it every morning. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the best I’ve ever had. Gonza, Tomi, Isaac were our servers and they were all super nice and attentive. Highly recommend for all your dining needs!
Fresh always, good portions and tasty. The coffee is always welcome and the accompanying serve by Roberto and others on the team is efficient and polite and always a smile. Whether I sit upstairs or downstairs Roberto invites me to sit and he brings the fresh brew in a meticulous presentation .
Sitting here in the afterglow of a wonderful breakfast. I had the cocoa pancakes with fruit salad which was the best fruit salad I've ever had! Peaches raspberries blueberries pineapples strawberries. My wife had the yucca scrambled eggs with potatoes and cheese. The cheese is one of the greatest side dishes with potatoes we've ever had. So good! On the side we had smoothies, the banana and the cacao smoothies were so great! We sat outside and it was lovely. The service was so kind and helpful. Many people came to our assistance when we needed it and I felt in good hands. Plus everyone was so nice and that's a bonus. I can't wait to come back and visit. This is one of the best breakfast places in Miami. And if you're gluten sensitive or have gluten issues, this is your place. WOW!
We had breakfast here and loved the experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We especially want to highlight the excellent service from Tomi and Isaac — they were very friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!
I love this place. I am gluten-free and always struggle to find good options wherever I go. But this restaurant has the perfect offering of organic, gluten-free, full menu food. You can get eggs for breakfast, or lasagne (yes, gluten-free and delicious) or a steak. Grass fed, of course. So you can eat super healthy, AND, if you want, you can also have a fun pastry… They have it all. Great service too…..!!!!
Absolutely amazing! Quality food. Excellently prepared by Dlefi. Gonza is a wonderful waiter. He is so very kind and polite. Atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed. Lovely decor. I will come again and again! I want to leave multiple posts! While in Miami, I came everyday! Sometimes it was breakfast, sometimes lunch, sometimes a drink as I worked on my laptop. Amazing place and great employees….morning, afternoon, and night. All of them were so kind!
What a beautiful and ambient atmosphere at Blue Lavender Cafe & Market! It located just minutes from Ocean Drive in South Beach. A great new cafe that features tasty treats, entrees and delicious coffee ☕️. I have tried the lavender latte while here and it was beyond delicious 🤤 and aromatic. The food offered is clean and on the healthy side, which is a refresh from all the bad food we tend to eat around us. I definitely encourage a stop by while in South Beach!
Great new very nice place in the middle of South Beach! The food is very good and healthy. Perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch. They have a variety of drinks coffee, juices, smoothies etc, I order a salad and was very colorful and delicious! I also had a tres leches cake and a cappuccino, both were very good! The ambiance and the service are very nice!
Absolutely loved my meal at Blue Lavender, a little oasis just off of Collins Ave. I enjoyed a classic bowl, with Isaac, Robert and Gonzalo accommodating my bespoke order to add some extra protein. The bowl itself was so delicious, and the service so friendly. The whole atmosphere of the cafe was so calming too. Will definitely return and definitely recommend a visit.
The vibes were beautiful, but honestly, our server Robert made the experience. He was so present and vibrant. He took great care of us, literally while we babbled on and laughed and cried together. Thank you, Robert 🙏
My family and I had a fantastic breakfast experience at BL! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a family meal. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight! We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend BL to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Blue Lavender was a delightful surprise, offering an experience that stood out for its delicate and thoughtful flavor combinations. The dishes were not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, thanks to the high quality of the ingredients and the skillful pairing of vegetables and other plant-based elements. We ordered a fully plant-based dish and were absolutely amazed by the result. It was so impressive that we made a point of complimenting the manager and the chef for the exceptional care put into both the presentation and preparation. The attention to detail was evident, making the meal as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the palate. While not the cheapest option, Blue Lavender isn’t overly expensive either. The pricing is perfectly in line with the quality and creativity of the offerings, making it excellent value for the experience provided. Whether you’re looking for a unique lunch or a cozy dinner, this restaurant comes highly recommended. The ambiance adds to the charm, especially the interior dining area in the basement. Despite being below ground level, the space is bright, welcoming, and full of character, making it a pleasant and comfortable environment for a meal. Blue Lavender is a must-visit for those who appreciate fine dining with a focus on plant-based cuisine. It’s an experience I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy exceptional food, outstanding presentation, and a warm atmosphere.
Breakfast at the Blue Lavendar cafe this morning was delicious. Tomi and Isaac were great servers, attentive and helpful in spite of the morning rush. I really appreciate all of the gluten free options here. It’s hard to find so many gf choices, and having such welcoming, friendly service as well really made my experience special. Highly recommend this cafe!
I highly recommend you to visit this place. I have a gluten allergy . Almost all menu could be made gluten free . And employees were so helpful and attentive. They cook their bread in a separate oven to make the bread safe for celiac disease people. My waiter Isaac was attentive and friendly.
We’ve been in Miami Beach for a week and we’ve had breakfast at Blue Lavander every single day. The food was amazing, the service was the best and everyone was nice. I basically tried the whole breakfast menu and I can tell you that everything was delicious (especially the gluten free carrot cake). Thank you Antoine for your care, we’ll definitely come back
We have just had two weeks cruising on ICON and now a couple of days at Miami Beach. Royal Caribbean’s service was great as usual, but I will remember my breakfast at Blue Lavender for equally as long. The service - Isaac and Roberto - was fantastic and the food out of this world. I particularly enjoyed the serious and sincere commitment to gluten-free options, served in a wonderful, cool setting. We return to the UK tomorrow. I wish these guys were coming with us.
Such a great cafe. This place had such a good drink menu of all types of drinks. The food was so colorful, healthy, and tasty. They also let us stay here for a long time while we waited to check into our hotel. There was also plenty of luggage space so we didn’t feel in the way. The space was beautiful too.
This place is a special find! Loved the ambiance of the place and the food tasted so fresh! The açaí bowls are fantastic and flavorful!! The Mocha was amazingggg, only few places make a mocha like this, you can just tell by the flavor! The staff was so warm and welcoming! Our server Issac was amazing and helpful with the menu! Would recommend this place to anyone! They have a dinner menu that looked really good as well!
All the produce used here is just so fresh and perfect so it makes everything taste incredible. Even something as simple as the fruit bowl looked like something out of a magazine and the berries were the best I've had in so long. My friends and I got some gluten free zucchini bread to split and I regret not getting an entire piece for myself. Definitely stopping here next time I'm in the area!
A great place, with great atmotfere to have excelent coffee and croissants in the morning or the afternoon, specially if you are from LATAM and have late dinner.
The Blue Lavender is a great place to enjoy a nice, healthy breakfast, especially if you are gluten sensitive. Get there early for a great shady spot and people watch while enjoying your coffee and an acai bowl. The staff was friendly and gave us local tips.
We visited Blue Lavender after a few days in South Beach; I was very excited but was unfortunately let down by the service and overall customer attentive-ness and care. We ordered a variety of pancakes and breakfast foods, they were great but they mostly excelled in their seasoned/sautéed vegetables. The staff(woman) at the front desk was amazing, and clearly understaffed but the two gentlemen around her were not on the same page. Overall, gorgeously designed space that I hope fulfills its potential- if you’ve read this, pass by and check out the energy; it might be better with more/ better staff in a few months.
Great atmosphere, but the prices for such a small smoothie are too high... especially if you dine in. It was $20 to drink a banana smoothie with pea protein in a fairly small plastic cup. I haven't tried their other options, so I didn't want to rate it too poorly. *Update since the business responded trying to argue the price of a rather small smoothie* $16 smoothie + $2 protein added + 20% mandated service charge for dine-in + tax = $20 as I originally stated.
I wanted to love this place. Atmosphere was beautiful. We were immediately greeted and told we could sit and be waited on. Wait staff took quite a while to attend to our table. Chicken bowl was well prepared. I sent my wine back twice and was not charged due to something inside glass both times. Automatic charge added to bill.
This place really missed the spot! I went because of the glowing reviews and pictures of the space. The space was lovely, but the staff was lackluster. There was a language barrier, so we ended up not ordering anything for my daughter, who has severe food allergies to milk, eggs, and peanuts. The gluten-free, dairy-free French toast could have been amazing, but it was served cold and got even colder as I waited over 10 minutes for syrup. I only finally got the syrup after my husband went upstairs to the counter 3 times, and the 3rd time wouldn't leave without it. The server finally returned with silverware because he had confused my request for "syrup" with "servingware". Also, the bacon was initially raw on one side, and I sent it back to be cooked on both sides. While we were there, another couple sat down in the booth next to us, had a negative exchange with the waiter and then got up and left without ordering. I feel bad for the owners. They have a beautiful restaurant and a promising menu, but are losing money and customers due to poor service.
The place is cute, and they have a good number of electric outlets, so it’s good to get some work done. However, it’s rather pricy. A $7 latte turns into $9 with taxes and the mandatory 20% service charge, and they want you to tip on top of that (what’s that 20% service charge if it’s not a tip for the workers?), which becomes almost $11 for a latte with a 40% tip. I find this double tipping practice shady. To be fair, most tourist establishments in South Beach do it. I guess they bet on unsuspecting tourists to not notice… Also, the first time I came here, I only ordered a latte and went to sit. The workers told me they would bring it to me downstairs. I sat there for a while. Eventually, after getting tired of waiting, I went back upstairs and they were helping other clients and my latte was just sitting there. One of them could have easily brought me my latte before starting to take more orders. I thought that was poorly executed. The lattes are also served quite cold and the air conditioning downstairs is way too cold.
Ordered on UberEats. The first picture is what they claim they’re selling. The following is what I received. This is NOT French toast. This isn’t even battered. This is panini grilled bread, regular toast. Super disappointed & irritated.
It's NOT healthy food !!! They want you to believe they are giving you healthy food, but they re not! They want to appear so nice and high class place, when in reality; they are just ripping you off. Way overpriced considering the quality of food and the service they are giving. The eggs and veggies were swimming in a pool of OIL. I put 1 start because I had to in order to leave a review; but they deserve minus 4 stars. They brag about their menu done by nutritionist and all the organic ingredients, but when you receive your plate your realize this place is not worth it, at all. I also had a smoothie, which was tasteless. And the server was unnatentative, almost rude.
Very disappointed in the service. I ordered a salmon bowl and was surprised to find the salmon was just a small serving of lox, despite not being labeled as such. The server was rude and refused to remedy the situation in any way, such as replacing the lox with chicken, even at an upcharge. I was hoping to visit several times during my vacation, since the menu looked good, but I will not be coming back.
We just came out from the place. First of all we were greeted by Delfi, who told us we couldn’t sit downstairs because it was closed and there were only one table to sit right in the door. The table was dirty so we had to wait for them to cleaned it. The staff wasn’t friendly at all. We had to waived our hand to order, to ask for water and to ask for the check. They didn’t checked on us one single time, (you can check the cameras) the restaurant was almost empty and there were 3 of them. My friend ordered a tortilla and the salad had not dressing at all. I’ve ordered an orange juice which cost 8 dollars and is only 2 zips. You can see the picture, and asked Jazmin the server if they serve that small orange juice and she said yes because nobody finished it, so we started serving that size, wow. At the end I’ve asked Tomy to bring the check and when he brought it I’ve asked to removed the “service charge” because there was no a service and he said that the service is included , which I responded I’ve been working more than 7 years in the industry the service is not mandatory, and then they removed . Very disappointed with the place never come back.
Cute place , big but food is terrible . We got salad / leaves not fresh and don’t have much . Bowl was simi distant . Pizza is terrible . And smoothie is awful, very water down . No flavor at all . We got cocoa smoothie . When we told about the issue waiter took it back and add it banana . So only flavor what was possible to taste after was banana . Basically we extremely disappointed. Nice space can do so much better .
Inattentive service. We ordered two smoothies and asked for protein to be added. No protein was added, and the smoothies were all ice and juice. Walk a couple blocks down the street and brave the line at Pura Vida where you’re guaranteed decent service and food albeit the assembly line.
Absolutely catastrophic: Ordered the avocado toast on gluten free bread. After my first bites, I had a bad feeling about the bread, as it looked/tasted more like a regular bread, rather than a gluten free one. I went up to the lady and asked her. She said: “You ordered gluten free? Yes it’s gluten free then”. I didn’t want to annoy her, but because it really is an issue for me, I asked her to please come to my table and check again. Normally I can distinguish gluten free bread from regular bread. She came with me, looked at the bread, then looked at me and said: “No, it’s not gluten free”. Immediately I went to the restrooms to try to spit out / throw up the bites I had already eaten. When I came back up, the manager introduced himself and said: “My name is so and so, you’ll be fine”, and put his hand on my shoulder. Probably it was meant to be nice, but for me it is a big problem when I eat gluten. I left the place immediately and went back to my hotel, the rest of the day I felt very bad. With no word did the lady from service or the manager apologize to me. Never again.
We chose this location because it markets itself as offering gluten-free options and ranks high on gf sites. When I arrived, I asked a simple clarifying question about cross-contamination, as I have a gluten allergy. The employee assisting me was squeezing fresh orange juice while eating bread, which immediately raised concern. When I politely asked whether the gluten-free items were safe for someone with an allergy, I was told that they “make food for people who like to eat gluten-free, not for people who have to be gluten-free”. The response was abrupt and dismissive, and I was told to “take it up with the owner” if I had a problem. You’re advertising gluten-free but using the same equipment, surfaces, etc with little concern for the “free” part. Advertise as gluten “friendly” instead. As it is now is false advertising for those of us who are truly allergic/celiac and looking for safe places to enjoy. Clear communication, safety protocols, and staff training around food allergies are extremely important, especially when a business advertises gluten-free options. Unfortunately, this experience did not feel safe or respectful.
I ordered an egg breakfast (eggs, toast, potatoes, roasted vegetables) with a dairy allergy and asked if they could do it without butter; they said yes but then just gave me eggs, a slice of bread and steamed vegetables. They never communicated they “could” do it dairy free but that it would mean I wouldn’t get two of the items I pay for…I would’ve ordered something else. Also, we were charged for two things we didn’t order. They adjusted the bill accordingly, but the communication leading up to it was poor and the avocado toast looked better than it tasted. The hot coffee tasted burned and the cold brew was extremely watery.
