Canton Rose is a family-owned Chinese restaurant popular for takeout. Many customers praise the Special Fried Rice, Honey Garlic Chicken, and Hot & Sour Soup. Some find the food inconsistent or not spicy enough, and dining in is unavailable.
Tip: Order by phone for quick pickup, often ready in under 15 minutes. Consider the honey chicken instead of the General Tso's.

This is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in all of Miami ! I used to live down the street from here and order from there every week. I moved out to the Kendall area and I still prefer this place over the others in my area! They have the biggest and best egg rolls, the freshest and best tasting food and best service !!
My favorite place, moved to cutler bay and always driving back to South miami just to enjoy the best Chinese Food in Miami.
My mom loves their food and they have some great veggie dishes for me! Love it 💞
Servings are generous and the food is top notch. I eat here regularly and have never been let down.
Best cheap chinese food I’ve had in Miami so far
Affordable food, very friendly service, orders ready quickly
Always delicious. Best Chinese I have found in South Miami after living in China Town in NYC and San Francisco
One of my favorite place to go . Nice people and I love the chicken teriyaki stick there.
The people are really friendly and the food is really good. Great service!
I was there for lunch! Great food! Authentic food fast service!
Very good food. Friendly staff and quick service.
The food was so good, it melted in my mouth.
Great food and quick service. Healthy food for a great price.
Great service as always, parking is ample and Chicken Lo Mein was excellent.
I love this restaurant cause their food taste is unique
Love this place! The food is great and is well priced.
I been going to this place for more than 30 years and have never been disappointed.
The food here is amazing, you will surely return for seconds
Friendly, typical Cantonese style menu. Value for the money.
Go often, delicious food, great service
Consistently good food and service. I always get the vegetarian fried rice, the vegetables are always fresh and it's never greasy. The staff are always very friendly and professional. Would definetly reccomend to anyone who likes delicious food at an affordable price.
I have been coming to this place for 10 years and never had issue with them. they are friendly, clean and their food is delicious. Things aren't going to get cheaper and if you want quality food learn then you gotta make sacrifice. I am not ecen rich but I make habit of spoiling myself once in a while and this is my place to go.
Been coming here for years, they never disappoint, delicious affordable and authentic.
I was stationed on Okinawa, so I'm spoiled. Every few months, when I and the Family order shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein, special egg foo young and moo goo gai pan, it is always exactly the same. Americanized.
Canton Rose has the best Chinese food. It's my go to for take out. Staff is friendly and very efficient. Highly recommend!!!!
Waitress provides excellent service. Couldn't ask for better service and hospitality... Properly cooked food with authentic Chinese atmosphere. I've spent more than 20 years visiting Canton Rose!!!
One of my favorites! Love their egg rolls! Service is always good, the price is Affordable and it's just good eating!
I really like the food here. No complaints. I usually DO NOT eat Chinese food from anywhere but Canton Rose 🌹
Delicious authentic Chinese food well prepare ,fast service ,great Manu with multiple choices at good prices
It's a great place to get some old school Chinese take out, the peppered steak and special rice...just hit the spot, been a customer for years now, and I haven't been dissatisfied yet.
Always great food and outstanding customer service. My family and I love this place, delicious and very affordable.
Best Special Fried Rice, truly authentic had been ordering here for years living in Miami, miss them! If you want to try good Chinese food, you have to make a stop here.
Best Chinese food in all of Miami
Finally i found a Chinese place where i really like fried rice, on top of that they have a good variety of dishes, strongly recommend Mongolian beef, the low sodium version, you will not regret it, and the lady behind the counter very nice person, it is a shame i don't know her name
Best Orange chicken!!! Rice is delicious and service is great
My family and i have been ordering food here for years. Always great!!! Never disappoints
Special fried rice and honey garlic chicken were both very good. Wonton soup didn’t seem to have too much sodium which was great. The lady who took our order and was there for pick up was very friendly and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be.
My family's favorite local small family owned Chinese restaurant. Everything they make is very fresh American Chinese style food. They have an extensive lunch and dinner combo menu at excellent prices. Lunch combinations are priced between six and eight dollars and come with vegetable or pork fried rice. They make excellent traditional style egg rolls. Family favorite lunch specials are Mongolian beef and pork with Chinese vegetables. The beef is tender and delicious. The pork used in the Chinese vegetable dishes sliced roast pork and also excellent. They are currently not opening the dining room but you can call and order your food for pickup or walk in and order at this. Food is cooked fresh and served hot. Lunch special portions are large and have a generous serving of fried rice. Food is ready in about 15 minutes. I'm a big guy and I'm stuffed from the lunch special size. They offer about a dozen different and interesting lunch specials which are also offered as dinner combos in the evening Lunch specials are offered Monday through Saturday. The restaurant is located behind McDonald's in the Winn-Dixie shopping Center at the intersection of Bird road and 67th avenue.
Delicious food and friendly service. The best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried in Miami. You cannot dine in since covid but takeout usually takes just 15 minutes. I recommend the beef and broccoli with some hot sauce.

Really just good American style Chinese food. I have been eating there for 10 years and the food is reasonable and fresh and hot. Excellent for pickup orders by phone, ready in under 10 minutes. Lunch specials are around $7 and can fill even the biggest appetite. Coven update from February of 2021. The restaurant is open for pickup only. They allow only one customer in at a time and you must wear a mask. Food is as delicious as always. I get takeout about once a week. Most of the food is ready to go in under 20 minutes and it's so pipping hot that you know it feels safer then a cold deli sandwich or anything not cooked. I like the food and I feel safe eating for getting here.

I feel is just a little over priced on the weekends for the quality of the food, on weekdays same food is 40% less, but I eat here all the time and I have never had a problem in the past two years.
Food was hot and good rice was awesome chicken little over cooked but still good !!
I've been coming here for years. Fast service. Decent price. Yummy food.
Canton Rose helped us get through COVID woth their amazing chicken noodle soup.
The food here is so good. (The sushi should be better)
Got pork and broccoli and it was good. No real complaints.
I love the food and great customer service.
The area is a Little dirty, but great food
Chicken with garlic sauce lunch special was decent. You get a decent amount for 10 bucks.
Good food.
Chicken over fried
One of the few restaurants of Chinese food that has good service left
Only for pick up. Place kit looking good
"Spicy" general tso's was not spicy whatsoever. The food was still good but that part was mildly disappointing (pun not intended). The cream cheese wontons are not the sweet ones you'd expect from other places. These have chives and onion bits in them. They weren't bad, just different. Overall still a good place.
The place is good, But today is was not good.We go to this place a lot of times, we always order fried rice without bean sprout and veggies. Turns out today they put is bean sprout when we told them no beans sprout nor veggies. But the place is good it has a good rice and good Chiken
The Mongolian beef is is not Mongolian Beef, it is Mongolian ONION. We don't need to remind you about the coupon we deserve for the purchase over 30 o 40 dollars., it is your job. The white rice its really Chinese....omg....
First of all, I've had better. It was really pricey to replace the regular rice with special fried rice on my lunch special, $2.50 more to be exact. The pork fried rice was just regular rice, barely any pork in it. If you want better quality and bigger portion, go to Oriental Express in Virginia Gardens 33166.
Ordered General Tzos (SPICY), and an order of egg rolls. By far the best egg rolls I've had, but the chicken... soggy, sauce chicken, the white rice had more flavor than the chewy "spicy" chicken. Definitely have the honey chicken instead. P.S they forgot the fortune cookies
Not the best Chinese food. I wanted to try my local Chinese takeout, but perhaps I'm too used to non-traditional style. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and opened my takeout box to see some white meat chicken pieces in a broth with cabbage, celery, and bean sprouts. It tasted very plain to me. The egg roll was your typical egg roll with the normal fillings, nothing above average. I don't think it was worth the $15.

Don't serve enough food plus don't even give you soup in the lunch menu lime other chinnese places
Food just isn’t it. I have tried this place several times since I moved into the neighborhood 2 months ago. It’s very mediocre, the fried rice is decent but ever entree lacks flavor or any passion. Food is order out only and customer service may sound good over the phone but is lackluster in person. No atmosphere. Food is straight mid. Save yourselves the few extra dollars and pay for delivery from a better establishment. Trust me when I say this, you get what you pay for here. It’s just a straight 4/10
This used to be one of my favorite places for Chinese food, but their food is not what it used to be. Their Szechuan Shrimp is not spicy anymore, and their shrimps tasted overcooked. Their special fried rice doesn't taste fried anymore, it just seems rushed cooking. Needs to improve on the quality to make this place great again.

Service is slow. They are charging $13 dollars a plate for dinner. Will not revisit this place because there using can vegetables, previously frozen vegetables. Waited my whole 30 minutes of lunch for food that was not freshly made. And the soup wonton was spoiled.. had a funny taste that was about to spoil..

This is a horrible place. Nasty tasting fiod
Didn't like at all.
Food didn’t taste good feel you neee to clean grease
I have a gluten allergy and they wouldn't use my GF soy sauce to cook my food with instead of their glutenous soy sauce. Didn't eat here.
The customer service is AWFUL and they are extremely expensive and their portions are small. Go elsewhere!
The meat in the egg rolls smelled so weird and tasted bad... have to spit it out at once. Never coming back to this place... sorry.
Restaurant was very smelly....and the smell permeated into the food.
Chicken wings were nice! Man that took my order on the phone was very nice. Owner called me a liar when she quoted a total $2.00 + over the price quoted on their website!!!!!!!! I looked for HER ADD AND THEIR MENU WITH PRICES and without arguing showed it to her and she refused to acknowledge the fact that on their web site there was a different price. She insisted the menu in their add was not placed by them!!!!!!!!!!!!! She blamed the internet and in a loud voice she told me I could "make my claim to the web". I will not be back. Too many other Chinese,or Cantonese rests. Where to choose from and not be embarrassed in a LOUD voice by the owner!!!!!!
This one place to avoid. Super expensive fast tasteless Chinese food. Avoid by all means.
Ordered a general tso’s Got home tasted and threw it away.
They are not seating in the restaurant. They are only open for take out orders only. They are not going to open the restaurant, they told me today,
Unfortunately this place changed, now the good is like left over, raw, discussing and making re when I call then don't have the decency to try to make it better. I been a customer to this place for many, many years and for the way I was treated, I know this place is down to garbage. Don't go to this restaurant. The days of good food are over
Keep trying this place but it really disappoints. The food is too American. Not just the egg foo young. $40 for take out is too much. Picked it up & there’s food for a week. Asked for extra plum sauce, got a million packages of Duck sauce. 🙄 Asked for lots of mustard. Got four packets of clear yellowish liquid. I’ve never seen mustard look like that.
Picked up bucket fried rice & honey chicken..for my dad's Birthday today the worst meal I ever gotten. The rice & chicken were at least 1 wk old. Never going there again
