Palat receives high praise for its Italian cuisine and attentive service, especially from staff like Viccenzo. Standout dishes include the burrata with prosciutto, cacio e pepe, and branzino. Some find it pricey, with inconsistent experiences regarding portion sizes and service speed.
Tip: If you go, consider ordering the cacio e pepe or the branzino, as these dishes receive high praise. Be aware that the restaurant can be pricey and service may be inconsistent.

The food is excellent! I have lived in Italy and I’m well traveled person. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. It was chef’s special with crab meat on op of it. The softest gnocchi ever!! Just melting in your mouth. Pasta from the cheese bowl is also spectacular. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.
We enjoyed the most fabulous meal at Palat celebrating our friend’s birthday! The setting, both inside and out is charming and welcoming. The food is the best Italian we have had in Miami; it’s other worldly!! The staff was so friendly and present. Someone was always close making sure we had everything we need. We want to give a special shout out to Alexander- who was so helpful and attentive, and helped us choose a fantastic bottle of white! We cannot wait to go back, especially for the grilled calamari, the fresh pastas and their desserts!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was my first time dining at Palat and I will definitely be back. Came in to try the Miami spice menu for lunch and the food was unbelievable! So much flavor and the seasoning was spot on. Our server Leo and his helper gave us great service and recommendations. A+++
What a restaurant! Best place in a long time. Palat is busy for a reason... It is really good! We came here after looking for a new restaurant in the area to try and it was the best decision we could have made. We waited for like 35 minutes for a table since we didn't have a reservation but it was little after 9 pm and they told us they could sit us outside. Eventhough they had some open tables inside... I don't know what the procedure is... but we were glad we could try this place. After being seated at their outdoor area, which is actually nice but, no additional ventilation other than the Miami humid breeze in July... we were promptly greeted by our waiter which was super attentive and efficient. We order a couple of bottles of wine and for appetizers We decided to get grilled calamari (superb), and the tuna tartare which was outstanding. Everything comes with complimentary bread and delicious olive oil. Main course dishes were also very good... the grill Jumbo shrimp and the seafood linguini were probably the best of what we had but not to far behind were caccio e pepe and linguini vongole. Really.... everything was DELICIOUS. This is for sure a restaurant that I will be coming back soon and hopefully with a reservation for the inside tables... (God Bless air conditioning). Prices are very reasonable and parking situation is hard. I would say your only choice is to valet once there. But... keep in mind that they have a limited size valet service. Some make it ... some don't! But definitely worth the effort.
I finally had an opportunity to try this place and was not disappointed. We came in a big group for lunch and ordered family style (the plates are large). We tried the octopus, branzino, garden salad with chicken, caccio e pepe, and the appetizer special which was an assortment of raw fish including branzino, salmon, and tuna. The caccio e pepe was delicious and the perfect plate to share across a group of 5, allowing everyone to order another entree as well 😋. The branzino was also very tasty. The raw fish was good but not our favorite part of the meal. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated inside, but we chose to sit outside as the day was not too hot and there was plenty of shade. I can see the restaurant having more romantic vibes for dinner, making it a nice option for a date.
Palat is always incredible to come back to ! I had Miami spice menu ! Great choice ! Super delicious ! I had cheese wheel truffle pasta - amazing and must have ! You won’t regret it. It’s something you would have to pay extra from Miami spice but it’s 100% worth it. Great time ! Thank you!
Hellooo. I eat here with a friend in mid of June. The restaurant has a great design. Very modern with touches of wood and shaped tables. Quiet with good music at a low volumen. We had fried zucchini, caprese and prosciutto salad, pappardelle alfredo with chicken, beet raviolis, and wynwood brewing beers. We spent about two hours talking, eating, drinking. Service was good. Food was awesome. Hooe see yall soon. Thanks a lot palat!!!
I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s day & it was phenomenal. We started with the Cesar Salad which also came with bacon crumbles on top and it was great. With that we got the grilled octopus and that came with fingerling potatoes as well as an olive dip. That dish was great. For our main course we shared the crispy branzino and the caccio de pepe truffle pasta (they even had a gluten free option available for my girlfriend who has a gluten allergy) and my god was that amazing. For desert we also got their special which was a broiled pear with fruit and melted chocolate. Everything we ordered was so delicious and the service was great also. I highly recommend this place for dinner or especially for a special date night!
Visited Palat during happy hour and w all the dishes we tried extendeing our visit was quite easy. The happy hour menu is a not to miss deal. We had the shisito peppers, which if you have read some of my prior reviews I am obessed w them, love the I don't know when the spicy one is going to hit my palate then the Za'tar hummus, crostini beef trataré to end the Pompano fish w zucchini salsa all plates where outstanding. Server was knowledgea of their menu and very pleasant. Don't be afraid to try this restaurant because of their $$$ tag price point it is not especially if you take advantage of all their daily offers. Will return whenever possible. Revisit Palat again on Wednesday night wine bottle are 50% off all day. This time we tried the zucchini fries, they are shoe string type highly recommend from happy hour. The snapper from the Miami Spice exquisite.
You need to try this place! Our favorite Italian restaurant in Miami. The food is amazing and the service is spectacular. Best place to unwind, perfect vibe and everyone is super nice. Rafa gives you the best recommendations!!! You need to try the beef carpaccio and the Vongole. Great wine too! Everything is fresh and delicious. As my wife said “ Earned 5 stars for sure⭐️ “
Can’t wait to return here. The cacio y pepe is delicious and surprisingly so reasonably priced, even with the shaved truffles on top. 5 start meal at affordable prices. Octopus appetizer was amazing and the chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to the meal.
Delicious small plates with a few large plate options. Ask about the specials, we had the pork belly which was AMAZING! Truffle porcini risotto was also a hit. Excellent service and beautiful ambiance. Will definitely be going again.
I was just walking by and saw this amazing place. Carpaccio is one of the best in Miami. Lobster ravioli is delicious, highly recommend to pair it with white wine. Pro stuff and great atmosphere. Will come back with my friends soon. Good job guys. Respect.
Perfection at Palat! I don’t know why, but this was my first trip to Palat. Wow, the food was perfect and the wine selection was on point, as was the ambience. There is plenty of social distancing and open air seating options for the COVID-Aware. I also wanted to thank my server Salvatore who was amazing! I will definitely be back!
One of my favourite Italian restaurant in Miami . Very Fantastic food and atmosphere, first -class service always ! Head Waiter Vincenzo and Manager Ilya are extremely polite and make you feel like you are right at home . Highly recommend the truffle home made pasta 🍝 😋 I want to come back there again and again ! 5🌟elegant - cozy - private - delicious meals .
Finally in Miami there is a restaurant where the food is excellent and the service too. Miami deserve a restaurant as Palat where the chef Rocco is an best seller of the kitchen. The food is so delicious all the products are well selected. I highly recommend it!
We had a great time. Our server Vicente was helpful and made delicious suggestions. My linguine with lobster was delicious. We will come again. Ps make sure to make a reservation.
This is one miamis top new spots, the food is high quality and diverse but the prices are on point for what you get. The wine list is amazing and again super compepetive prices, even though it is relatively new I am looking forward to seeing what this place becomes! Great first dinner, and the staff were all top notch, great service!
Palat was a really special dining experience! From it's inviting decor, delicious food and drink to friendly wait staff, it couldn't have been a nicer time. The menu was excellent with so many wonderful dishes we wanted to try. We will definately be back.
Wonderful food and service in a pretty charming atmosphere. Prices are much better than similar quality restaurants. The special seafood raw plate appetizer is amazing as is the tomahawk steak.
From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was unbelievable. The service was on point and the menu was explained in detail. We started with the Grilled Octopus, Shishito peppers, Tuna Tartare and eggplant crostini for our entree we had Branzino and Tomahawk steak with the beet ravioli. Everything was well prepared and the taste was amazing!!!! Highly recommend trying it. The presentation of each meal was very impressive. We will definitely return in the near future!!!
Great food and service. Pasta dishes were good portioned and full of flavor. Our server Fabio did a great job and was attentive and had good recommendations. He told me to order the Tagliolini "Cacio e pepe" which was so delicious and also had a great presentation when served. In addition we had the black tagliolini which was my favorite dish that night and the grilled prawns which were both large and came with 8 shrimp and the spaghetti vongole. Good ambiance and family friendly. Authentic tasting italian food at a good price, would definitely come here again!
Came here for Miami Spice and everything was delicious. Had the tagglioni and my wife the eggplant parmesan and we were both happy. Dessert was amazing. The service was friendly. Would go again.
Honestly impressed by the authenticity, taste and variety of the dishes. Excellent food! And the service is outstanding! Salvatore and Paolo went out of their way to give us a memorable experience.
Very Nice Resteraunt. It was my Dad's 84th Birthday, and we went there as a part of The Miami Spice Celebration and everything was great. Its a Mediterranean Inspired Menu and the Chef has expertly captured the essence of the region in a culinary delightful experience.
Came by here for dinner after I walked by. They have a great outdoor space. It looked new, but it's been there for 3 years. The food was all superb. I had the eggplant parm and some other apps. My friend had cacio e pepe which was really amazing with the truffles. Will be back for sure.
Overall it was OK. Nothing was very memorable to say “I need to back there.” We had the eggplant crostini, green salad, cacio e pepe and grilled vegetables. We also had some white wine and a few beers. Service was good and no issue there. One thing I was not expecting was the amount of dogs that people brought in. I’ve been to many places that were far more casual and didn’t have that many dogs. Was not expecting that and the table next to ours had an annoying dog. Time and place. There was a singer there that was a nice. He was a super happy dude and did a John Legend cover - not idol worthy but he caught a vibe hahaha.
The Restaurant has 5 stars in everything: the supremely delicious food, authentic Italian food, the owner and all the staff are super friendly, diligent, the place is simple but beautiful and with a magical energy, the portions very generous. From the start we tried “Frittura Paranza” + “Tuna tartare” for 1st and 2nd dishes, we shared “Tagliolini Cacio e Pepe” + “Snapper Organatta” and finally a wonderful Tiramisu. Omg. How delicious everything. We will be back
Palat is simply one of those great Italian restaurants you hope to find, yet rarely do. Simply wonderfully prepared food which starts with home made bread, then moves on to the pasta and fish. And finish with a great cappuccino and dessert. All with great service and in a place with a nice, casual vibe. Bravo!
Best casual Italian restaurant I've had in Miami. The service, quality of the food and design make a really great combination of all you need in a restaurant to all ocasions. We just moved into the neighborhood and we will be back many times.
Palat is the ideal restaurant to come to if you are craving authentic Italian food. The employees are very kind and considerate. Not only that, but the restaurant is well maintained and has a beautiful and welcoming aesthetic. The food is fresh and very tasty. 10/10 recommend!!
We had an amazing lunch at Palat today. We tried their pre-fixe menu which was incredibly well portioned for a very good price. The food was excellent, the service was superb. Amazing asset to the culinary scene here.
Our servers name is Salvatore he was great. So was the supporting staff and the managing partner- manager. They were all 100 percent on their A game. The food is amazing. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
Palat has become my all time favorite Italian restaurant in Miami. The cheese pasta in the cheese wheel is spectacular. I dream of this and can’t wait to return. The service is on point. Atmosphere is lively. Attentive to details. Would recommend 100%.
For as many times I’ve been in Miami, it’s a shame I’ve never tried this place. Appetizer: Caesar Salad & Grilled Octopus Mains: Branzino & the Cacio E Pepe Everything was amazing but the star of the show was the Cacio E Pepe. I don’t leave reviews often but I had to come here to spread the word. Just try it & thank me later. 5 stars all around.
My friends and I were in town from Philadelphia and my good friend is related to the owner of the restaurant so we decided to have our last dinner in Miami here. The scenery was gorgeous, the service was impeccable and the food was phenomenal! They sent complimentary champagne to my table and made us feel so welcomed. I recommend Palat to anyone who visits Miami!
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The service was impecable and the menu was explained in detail. The Branzino was amazing!!!! Highly recommend trying it. The presentation of each meal was very impressive. We will definitely return to try more of the great fishes.
Outstanding! Absolutely delicious food, excellent service... Highly recommend this place. So happy restaurants like this are still open considering the pandemic. Nowadays, if you are going to leave your house, it has to worth it and Palat definitely is.
The food here was delicious. Although the name says it's Italian, don't expect typical Italian food. I would consider this restaurant more Mediterranean Italian than traditional Italian. If you like seafood, this place is amazing.
Food was maticulously prepared. Extremely light and tasteful on the palate. Our waitress was really great. Her timing was spot on. Very neat and clean, will return most definitely.
Definitely a special place, the place look inviting so I stop to check it out, well let me tell you had the tortilla espanola, the French toast and probably the best brunch burger I ever had WOW, fully worth coming just for that the sangria was awesome also. The service was provided by Austin, he recommended most of the food we ate and his customer service and energy was dead on point, Will come back for the dinner menu as I know is going to be superb.
Amazing new place ! Since their opening (which was this week ) I’ve already visited them twice and planning to go there again ! Food is delicious , service is super friendly and professional, ambience is outstanding ! You should definitely try beet ravioli, grilled octopus and white chocolate panacota !
We had a great lunch experience at Palat. First time trying the place and certainly will go to dine there again. All plates were very well prepared. Quality of the food and ingredients is top notch. And we also loved the ambiance and setting of the place. During our lunch our waiter was Salvatore and he was impeccable. He was really attentive to make sure any details on our table were taken care of all the time. Overall highly recommended place.
Awesome food and service. Most Italian food. Staff very professional and constantly checking if we needed water, bread, etc. I had Branzino fish with potatoes. The food was served hot, good quantity. My group of #3 was seated in the outside courtyard; inside seating also available. It started raining but their large umbrellas provided complete coverage. We did not get wet. Parking is on the street. Highly recommend this place.
The first time was excellent and I don’t know why it took us long time to come back. Terrific food and great service. My wife is Italian and she said the taste and flavor totally reminded her time in Italy. And not expensive at all for such a delicious food. It wont take a year again to come back, guys. Good job 🤝
Came to Palat last minute on a Saturday night, no reservation (FYI don't do this). We got lucky, we probably waited 45 mins before we were given a small quaint table. Service...excellent. Food...excellent. Ambiance...excellent. A true authentic Italian restaurant, brought back so many memories from out visit to Italy a couple years ago. Twas a nice spot to celebrate our anniversary 🎉🍾🥂.
We went for the first time with a group of friends and decided to try the Miami Spice menu. They serve very generous portions of great-quality true Italian food. The server was very kind, the A/C was rather cold and they adjusted it to our comfort. I totally recommend this place!
One of our best dinning experiences in Miami. Outstanding food and service. This is a hidden gem. From the bread, to the octopus, caccio peppe, the tiramisu, every thing was excellent and perfect. And the service, 5 starts, Ernesto was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and attentive. Cant wait for our next visit.
Amazing quality service. The food is perfectly splendid and the wine even more! Definitely coming again. The servers came up to check on us consistently! Better service than most places in Miami, recommend 100%
Very good restaurant! We ordered the Snapper Oreganata, Pappardelle and Cacio e Pepe. Every plate was amazing! Everything in its point, very fresh fish, nothing bad to say but that two of the plates were not hot enough. For dessert we had one with mascarpone, nutella and berries, a simple plate but delicious. The service was great, something not that common in Miami... We'll come back for sure!
Great ambiance! Wonderful and innovative dishes that are beyond delicious!very knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's a beautiful restaurant for both special occasion or just leisure time with great food. They only have a few cocktails on the list but they're all amazing! Pana cotta dessert is to die for! A must try for foodies!
It's nice and Cozy—an excellent place for date night or just a nice low-key dinner with friends. Lovely decor, nice amount of space in between tables, no loud music. I had a wonderful dinner; the service was excellent. The food was delicious too. We had the grilled calamari (my favorite), meatballs, and fatturi ( fried seafood) for appetizers. I'm not a big fan of fried seafood, but I tried theirs and like it. It's lightly battered and not oily. For Entrees: Gnocchi: It tasted good but should be served a little warmer. The mozzarella felt a bit cold and didn't melt when I mixed it. Tagliolini Cacho and Pepe: my friend enjoyed it. Dessert: All of them taste good. Tiramisu, Chocolate temptation, Frutti Bosco ( my friends' favorite). Drink: plenty of options for wine, no cocktails available; it was a fresh lemonade kind of night for us.
Very cute restaurant, nice outdoor dining setting. Servings are very generous so don’t order too much! The burrata and carpaccio were good. Food is good but not fantastic. The desserts were delicious!
Stumbled on Palat while in the neighborhood, and they certainly gave us a reason to remember them: seafood prepared with love! Super cost effective dinner. We got the grilled calamari & shishito peppers to start, and then I had the linguine frutti di mare. Pannacotta & tiramisu to finish! What a wonderful surprise Palat was; thank you Ernesto
Great food, relaxed atmosphere on a Sunday night and very attentive staff. Our waiter was very nice, talkative without being intrusive. The restaurant was in the middle of a transition and he warned us immediately, giving us the possibility to leave if we were not satisfied with the options offered that night. We considered leaving since the only reason we wanted to try the place was the sea urchin pasta and it was off the menu. The chef agreed to prepare them and as such we decided to stay. It was the right decision! The octopus was excellent, perfectly cooked with a lemony kick to it and amazing grilled flavor. The burrata prosciutto was ok. The sea urchin black ink pasta was Al dente and really satisfying. The Nutella Chantilly dessert we shared was the right note to end a lovely evening. We are looking forward out next visit with the new menu!
Went for dinner with a group of 6, and we shared several appetizers which were all tasty - the octopus was a particular highlight. Everyone at the table got pasta, several tried the cacio e pepe which was lush, decadent and incredibly flavorful. I had the squid ink pasta which was filled with seafood and very satisfying, and even tastier the next day. Food, drinks, and ambiance all exceeded expectations. Service was lovely up until the end of our meal, when we had to wait 20 - 30 minutes to get our check. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. Would definitely recommend!
I give this restaurant a 4.5. Great management and hospitality, neighborly, friendly but lets just say I would'nt come back for the memories or quality of the food except the wine and the bread. It's the service and ambiance that won me over. I hardly like to eat out anymore these days because I feel like I can create a better experience at home than what most restaurants have to offer these days however, I was impressed with the professional hospitality that Palat has to offer. They stand true to being neighborly and creating an ambience to keep you coming back. They truly build relationships and isn't why we go into someones home to eat in the first place even if the food isn't what your used to, you appreciate the gesture and the caring behind it. As with most restaurants groups, the food can be really good in the main restaurant where it all started and perhaps not so great in the other restaurant locations. I am very thankful for the manager, waiter, and chef that worked together to provide me with the opportunity to enjoy my night with my mother! Well done Palat in hospitality and in being neighborly. Bravo!
Great place! It isn't particularly the flashiest restaurant, and if you're driving down the road it is a bit easy to miss, but the food is good and the vibe is nice. A little pricey depending on what you get (their bottled Italian beer is $25!) but I feel like the majority of the menu is worth what you pay for it. Would come back!
Food: excellent Outdoor seating: great Servers: very good Host / management: average at best. Would not seat our friends until we arrived as well Valet parking: not good at all.. lot is gravel and attendant left dirt, dust all over my car. Even on passenger side, which is strange. No tickets given, you can take any car in the lot. Overall: 4 stars die to quality of food and outside seating
The meal we had was excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was great. We were there for a birthday dinner with some friends and my wife and I had the scallop carpaccio, the Cacio e Pepe with truffles and shrimp, the crispy skin Bronzino and the Pancetta to end our meal. All were excellent. The one negative is the service, they don’t keep track of who in the table ordered what, which caused lots of unnecessary confusion at the table. The staff seems uptight, try to take the plates before we finish them, manager can’t say hello or even crack a smile, etc. they really need some serious service training.
Beautiful place. There is parking behind (they told is as I had missed it). We we're sat at 2:45, and presented the dinner menu - despite having seen a chalkboard oitside that said lunch was served 11 - 3:30. I told the waiter that looks like we got dinner menues, that I was expecting lunch. He doubled down -- we left with a bad taste in our mouth and 0 interest in returning. 1 star! My wife arranged :| for a dinner with friends. Food was excellent. 5 stars! We went back. Most of the food was excellent.. 3 stars.
Outdoor seating. Ok service. Outdoor area very spread out and comfy. It’s very hot during the day. We had burrata and tuna for appetizers. The lasagna was the best option for pasta, it was the best pasta for us. The spaghetti alla vongole was tasteless, the linguini di mare as well. Bucatini amatriciana was weak. The tiramisu 👎🏻. The pistachio and chocolate ice cream was simply bad. Pasta was decent. Tips not included. A bit pricey for the value received.
If I could, I would rate this 3.5 stars. The place is adorable, the staff friendly and the food is better than good. However, my first experience at Palat left me with a poor impression. A great restaurant is only as good as its staff and unfortunately, our server was inattentive. We were there on a Wed. evening. There were maybe a dozen tables, so not busy. Our server, while friendly, left us with big gaps of time so our meal experience was very choppy. Given this restaurant offers taps style, we never experienced a flow in our meal or service.
The food is outstanding. But the service is truly terrible. And they make you pay to make a reservation but take 20 minutes to seat you. Then another 30 just to get water. Oh and the outside seating is very uncomfortable and cheap. Food is delicious.
I had always wanted to come to this restaurant, unfortunately won’t be coming back. The food was good but nothing extraordinary (grilled octopus and snapper tartare) the Vitello tonnato was very good though. For dessert we always in Italian restaurants ask for Tiramisu, this was a total disappointment, one of the worst we’ve ever tasted (and even the waiter at the end told us “yeah we know is not that good” ) Prices are very high, almost $100 per person for a simple meal. For that prices you can go to so many better restaurants.
First I have to say they have a Valet Parking is $8. They don’t say when you leave the car and be sure to ask for the change, if not they won’t give it to you. Palat It’s good, but way too expensive compared with what they offer. Very Traditional Italian restaurant, not many different pasta choices or innovative. If you are looking for a exquisite menu, not the place. The desserts are the best of the menu. The service is very good too.
Unsure if they know what are they doing... servers dont know the menu, place is definitely overpriced especially for that part of the city, small expensive bites... I've ordered the truffle pecorino and got a micro portion which included a really old grilled bread full of gris. After that I got the ink paste with crab which was ok but more like a half of portion of small portion... after first and second plate I was super hungry... The interior is really cool, but I am afraid that's all you can find. "Come, taste and never come back" place...
Food was fantastic, however, the service was awful. When we arrived at 7:30pm, there was no one in the restaurant. There appeared to be about 15 male employees standing around the kitchen and reception area staring at us. We were originally going to eat inside but decided to go outside because of how uncomfortable we were. While we were sitting outside, 3 of the waitstaff followed us and proceeded to stare at us for the entire dinner. We had 2 waiters serve us during our 30min dinner (I’m not kidding, that’s seriously how long we stayed because we felt so uncomfortable). On top of the 3 waiter continuously staring us down, 2 chefs watched us through one of the windows as we ate. I am not one to write restaurant reviews but this was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. We ordered 2 entrees, which were both fantastic. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our food due to the awkward waitstaff.
Terrible greeting experience - the owners should look into the quality of their hosts. We had a reservation for 4 at 5:30pm , we arrived 15 minutes earlier as my 7 and 5 year old were feeling hungry. The male host told us that the restaurant was closed and we needed to leave and come back later in a really bad manner. There were multiple tables seated in the restaurant and google maps stated that the restaurant was open at 5pm. I asked them if we could have a seat and have a drink until there were ready to serve us (15 minutes). He said “definitely No” It’s a pity as we dined there last year before COVID and my kids really enjoyed the food. A supreme turn off, so we walked to Shokudo to blocks away and they were super accommodating.
Update: on 4.7.22: Today I received a call from the restaurant telling me they had not charged my card for the cancellation fee for two people, and asking me to update my review. Although I appreciate them not charging my card - My point to them was the experience had already been unpleasant and now we were revisiting it, after all I am the customer, and this would have been my third time back in their restaurant. Cancelling a restaurant reservation for two people should not be so difficult. I can understand for parties of 6 or more - but not for 2 people - I am sure the table was utilized. Things happen and we cannot control every minute of our lives. 4.1.22: I have eaten here twice before and it was good; good enough for me to want to go back. Earlier this week I had made a reservation for this evening for 2 people at 7:30 PM. My friend just called me at 3:00 PM to tell me she had fallen ill and was just not able to make dinner tonight. I called the restaurant to explain and apologize for the late cancel - the person on the other end of the phone was extremely curt and informed me that I would be charged $20 per person for the cancellation. Please keep this in mind if you consider making a reservation here. I doubt I will go back because I found them rude and I don't think making a dinner reservation should be handled in such a manner due to an unforeseen event. I am meticulous about reservations and deadlines - but sometimes you just cannot help it and eating out should not become stressful.
Food was mediocre. Meatballs had no seasoning and Cesar salad had very little salad dressing. Had the uni & crab pasta from their specials for $56, tasted bland and nothing special. Had a few bites but it wasn’t very tasty. The Cacio e Pepe had clumps of stringy cheese which means it wasn’t made properly. For an Italian restaurant you’d think you’re getting pasta made perfectly but it’s too bad that the two main dishes we were excited about were very disappointing. The server knew we weren’t really happy about the dishes but he didn’t care that much. Experience could have been turned around based on how a server handles a situation and he didn’t even bother to come back to take the payment. He sent another server while he stood around at the host stand not making eye contact lol. Would not come back or recommend this place!
Very disappointing. Each dish was worse than the last. The carpaccio was cut so thickly it was completely unappetizing. No seasoning at all. Gnocchi tasted like vomit and the mozzarella pieces were thrown in there hard and unmelted. We were sat by the kitchen window and noticed several tables sending back dishes as well. All in all... this place was Gross. Truly disgusting. Very expensive price point for food put together like this.
