Beautiful restaurant with amazing food that was served super quickly. I 100% recommend this restaurant; super good food, polite server, great prices!! I even ordered some to go for supper tonight 😊

I’ve been coming to Suvi Thai since 2015, and it’s been consistently excellent. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are the best around, and the Panang Curry and Honey Chicken are just as incredible — rich, perfectly balanced, and always cooked just right. The sushi never disappoints either, especially the Dragon Roll and JB Roll. The staff is amazing — friendly, attentive, and they always make you feel welcome. My wife and I go almost every week before Friday night Mass, and my brother and dad love going too. It’s been a family favorite for years.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😊 In the vibrant heart of Miami spring, where the gentle whispers of spring dance through lush parks and the cheerful chatter of busy shopping streets fills the air, lay a hidden gem that could easily be missed by the untrained eye. This treasure was none other than Suvi Thai, a restaurant that was a calming oasis amid the city's energetic buzz. Suvi Thai was not just any eatery; it was a sanctuary of taste. Those who entered were greeted by the subtle aroma of lemongrass and coconut mingling, creating a symphony of scents that promised an unforgettable culinary journey. With its tantalizing flavors, it stood out in the diverse tapestry of Miami's dining scene. The restaurant's serene charm was complemented by its thoughtful hours. Every afternoon, Suvi Thai would close its doors, only to reopen at precisely five o'clock. This ritual gave the staff a moment to rest and reset, ensuring every evening meal would be orchestrated to perfection. The staff—ever-polite and respectful—welcomed guests with warm smiles and attentive service, making each visitor feel like a cherished friend. Their presence was as harmonious as the dishes they served; each brought to the table was a piece of art, crafted with ingredients that whispered the secrets of distant lands. Among the many delights on offer, the green curry with tender chicken stood as a tribute to the chef's delicate touch, while the crispy spring rolls provided a delightful surprise with each bite. Patrons often returned, not only to enjoy these dishes but also to try the lesser-known treasures recommended by the insiders—friends who knew that dining at Suvi Thai was an experience to be shared and savored. The restaurant’s reputation was carried on the lips of its visitors, whispered as secrets at park benches and shopping arcades across the city. Each recommendation was a testament to the consistent quality and enchanting atmosphere that made Suvi Thai a must-visit destination in Miami springs. As the sun set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Suvi Thai's lights began to twinkle alive, casting a gentle glow on the faces of newcomers and regulars alike. It was a place where the flavors of Thailand met the heart of Miami, creating an experience that was, in many ways, a love letter to both cultures. And so, amid the vibrant life of Miami, Suvi Thai was more than just a restaurant. It was a journey for the senses, a place where calm reigned, and flavors flourished—forever cherished by all who crossed its threshold.

I am so glad we decided to try this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. The service was equally impressive the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service stand out so much. I will definitely be returning with my husband next time! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great lunch experience.

Great spot for some delicious food! Everyone was super nice and welcoming and the food came out fast. We started with the dragon roll which was very good. My wife got the garlic shrimp and loved it! The fried rice and pad Thai didn’t have the flavor that I’m used to, but was good nonetheless. Would definitely come back

I went here for lunch 6/29/2022 and it was pretty good. I had the seaweed salad , fried calamari and the duck curry. The duck curry looked and smelled good. I got full eating this and had to get the rest to go Seaweed salad was nice. The duck curry had vegetables which I needed to eat. The fried calamary was more of the tentacles and smaller pieces. It was less breaded. Overall good. I enjoyed this meal and it got me really full. I do recommend

Excellent food, taste and service. This is few minutes away from the airport. Amazing place. Staff was very kind and patient. Fried rice and soup (chicken) tasted good. They gave a complimentary chicken and vegetable soup too

This place was enjoyable. The tuna tataki was great. The miso soup soup was delicious. The house salad with the peanut dressing was really good. The sushi was honestly nothing to write home about but it was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Thai food here is amazing. Close to the airport and service was very friendly and nice. There is free parking on site.

Really delicious food and excellent service. I honestly thought there was no way Homestead could offer decent Thai food, but after reading reviews from other Local Guides I was convinced. I was so impressed by the quality and taste of the food. We ordered appetizer spring rolls, pad see ew and red curry with tofu. The portions were perfect, the meat and vegetables were perfectly cooked and the sauces and seasoning were spot on. Suvi doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is a tastefully and beautifully decorated restaurant with intimate seating. Staff were friendly and professional, and delivered an excellent experience. Next time we're in the area we'll try their sushi offerings.

Thai food has always been my favorite and this place is the best in my opinion. My husband love sweet and sour shrimps as they are the best that I have tasted in Miami. We have been to many thai places and nothing beats this place. Brought my family from Singapore here too and they loved it. Great service and friendly service staff!

One of our favorite spots in Miami Springs for sushi. This spot is super clean, the waiters are very polite, and the food is amazing. They always treat us so great there and the prices are just right!

My friend brought me here since it was his favorite place. We always go here when I'm back in town. The service is great, they're really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, lots of trendy delicious options as well as many traditional dishes. There is also a good selection of foreign beers and other drinks, you won't be disappointed. I definitely recommend this place, go check it out.

Prices are normal for Thai. Setting is clean and has neat Asian decor. The food is really good. The service was normal. The friendliness of Big (our greeter) and the other guy (who's name I didn't catch, but he speaks 5 languages, has been all over Florida and the East coast, waited on us, and cashed us out) was the 5 star experience.

M

Great food. Very friendly and helpful. My wife has a lot of food intolerances and our waiter spent a lot of time helping her find a combination that would work. In the end he customized one of the dishes for her. Would definitely recommend it!

This place has awesome service and even better food, I can always count on this restaurant to be top notch. I love that the place is family owned and they are very respectful towards their customers. I had dinner here and wanted to stay a bit after to chat with my friends and they let us stay even after closing time while they were cleaning up.

Thankfully my partner noticed it as we passed by because it was the best Asian food I’ve had in a long time. I love a good deal their lunch prices were shocking and I was impressed by the quality considering it was so cheap. I’m so glad I found it.. wish it was closer but I will definitely will be making a drive back soon! The staff is very nice and sweet. very attentive

Delicious! And it was ready amazingly quickly. The menu offers numerous vegan options. We ordered delivery and our hot and tasty dinners arrived at our door before we knew it. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is near the hotel where we are staying. I eat a vegan diet, and they had a whole menu of vegetarian food that they said they could make vegan. All meals are made to order. They even “combined” two menu items for me since I had trouble deciding. The food was absolutely delicious! Service was fast, and everyone was so nice! Great atmosphere, too. I also had a glass of Pinot Grigio and it, too, was good! We will be back. Wish we could take this restaurant back to the west coast where we live.

The honey chicken was the best honey chicken we've ever had! Thai teas were so yummy! And the massaman curry was delicious! The service was fantastic, our server was so friendly and helpful. Made our first time there an amazing experience. We are just in the area for a short time but hope to make it back in before we leave !

The red curry vegetable entree was excellent. Spiciness can be ordered from 1 to 5. Our young waiter helped us understand that 2 would be spicy enough and he was right, it was perfect. I like that they offer a choice of brown or white rice. Only minor issue was the broccoli had turned yellow in spots, a sign that it's not fresh.

Excellent spot. I had food from both the kitchen and sushi bar, both was as good as it gets. Tuna was perfectly seared and fresh and tasty. I had curry and another Thai soup, both were incredible. My boyfriend had noodles that were excellent- he also asked to change them a bit and it was exactly how he asked for. Service was kind, quick, and knowledgeable. The place was spotlessly clean. And had parking! :-) happy we came here over other places.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I don't understand the bad reviews. I was beyond impressed. This is authentic Thai food. The food was amazing. The honey chicken is phenomenal. The staff are all fast, efficient and kind. The place could use an update esthetically, but there is nothing bad to say about this place. 9/10 for me

Delicious food for a reasonable price. It's authentic Thai food and the staff too. I like it and definitely comeback. We had a Fried Rice, Pah Thai, 3 drinks, and a dessert for $50.

Our home away from home while we spend weeks in a hotel. Pleasant servers, quick service, and light sauces. From curries to sweet and sour dishes, to vegetarian dishes, they've all been good. I am partial to the broccoli and tofu. Only the teriyaki chicken was a small disappointment but it was an exception. We are happy to eat healthy while we are in transit. Reasonably priced wine carafes too.

First time here. Wanted to try a random new spot I’d never been to before. There is an abundance of food variety. A large vegetarian selection. The vibe is homey and the art is eye candy. My only complaint would be that more culture isn’t involved such as their music (American music is played). But the food was great. Service was great. I’m a happy human.

My husband and I are regulars at Suvi Thai, captivated by its delightful Thai cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. A significant part of our enjoyment is thanks to Anothai, an outstanding waiter who consistently goes above and beyond. Suvi Thai, coupled with Anotai's excellent service, has become our cherished dining destination. Highly recommended for an all-around wonderful experience!

Great service, wonderful and friendly staff and fantastic food. Grandson ate eel and loved it and his kids meal. Granddaughter ate her meal and a California roll. My vegetarian meal was outstanding. Rest of the family enjoyed theirs. Our waiter was topnotch. Please try this place!

One of the best sushi I have ever had! The place isn’t anything out of the ordinary and it didn’t really have a cute scenery but it was clean, good service and what matter was that the sushi was AMAZING! I would highly recommend. I’ve only gone once but it was great. A roll of sushi with dessert and tip was like $18.

Ordered Pad Woon Sen. Was my first time eating it. Taste was exceptional! Highly recommend it. Servers were polite and service was quick (the place was not busy). Restaurant was very clean. 18% gratuity is included on the receipt. Prices on the menu do not include the tax. Bonus#1: the place has three japanese style tables. Bonus#2: the place has Theravada Buddhist artwork. *Basing my rating on a single visit

We recently moved back to Miami Dade County but while we were away, we would always say how much we missed this place. We have been customers of Suvis for years. We always order the Tom Yum Ghai and Tom Kha Gai soups as starters. They are always delicious and full of flavor. All of the entrees are delicious but my favorite will always be the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. I recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. This place will forever hold a place in my heart

We didn’t realize it but we arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, even told us to take our time. The food was amazing! There was so much meat in the spicy tuna salad and the sushi was on point! I wish we could have tried more of the menu since they have so much stuff but of course you can only eat so much at a time. Definitely recommend the food and enjoying the experience of dining in! We got sake, sushi, edamame, and a regular meal.

... sorry for posting a picture of my meal after I started eating it. I was WAY too excited. Can't rate this place highly enough. First time trying this place... have passed by many times over the years... glad I finally stopped in to have lunch. The waiter was very accommodating and helpful. The food was fresh and flavorful. The sushi lunch at this restaurant is my favourite. The boat-shaped plate makes the sushi look gorgeous. According to the restaurant information, it opens at 11:30 for lunch on weekdays, but when I visited, it started at 12:00.

Fantastic fresh delicious authentic thai food here!! Stephanie was our amazing waitress - thank you for looking after us so well! Your perfect English was greatly appreciated too. Loved the decor and FLAVOR of the food here! Menu is value priced given the quality of the preparation and presentation. I was wanting to try this restaurant after seeing it rated 2nd best Thai restaurant in Miami by Trip Advisor (dunno about that although it was really good). I found it weird that I called multiple times before driving here to see if they accept resevations, make sure they were open, etc and nobody answered nor any voicemail greeting. Chicken was kinda chewy in both Satay & entrées and not as soft as I've had at other Thai restaurants. Our server Anothai was friendly and helpful, but restaurant was busy which affected the service quality a bit since they could've benefited from a second server. If not for this and the chewy chicken lol I would've given those categories 5 stars each because the flavors were exceptional. Definitely recommend and would visit again!

Excellent service. Ambience was lacking but who cares at what you’re looking at when the food is so good?! It was the first time my brother ever had ice cream tempura (it was great!) and I loved the banana tempura. Both literally melt in your mouth. There seems to be something here for everyone 😊

Great food. The authenticity of the food is up to the mark. The staff were very friendly and nice. I tried drunken noodles and a soup. The tofu used in the noodles were tender and flavorful. The soup had right amount of flavor with a hint of sourness. We went right at the closing time and nothing felt like rushed or tasted as left over. When you are there, ask for their soy sauce. Great addition to the flavor. Did not taste like run of the mill soy sauce. All this for a great price. Go for it.

Very nice dining experience, although it was a closing time, servers didn't rush to close the dining services. They asked us to relax and enjoy and even gave us 15 min prior information about their closing hours. Food was equally great.

Nice place to eat out in Miami. Enjoyed their fried coconut shrimp and coconut curry soup. The fried whole fish was a delight. Their customer service was good but could use some service time improvement. Not sure if it's to do with number of service hands, as they seem quite busy. I will sure recommend them.

Late arrival to a nearby hotel and needed a place to eat that was within walking distance. Google Maps showed it a few blocks away with good reviews. Glad we went - generous and flavorful portions and very friendly staff. Clearly a neighborhood place.

P

Food was okay! The taste definitely was Thai food. I liked it. Also got some beer which was fine. My only big complaint was that they seem to be taking advantage of the tipping. On my bill I was charged 18% on top of the bill. Thought this was a bit out of the ordinary. There was also a sign on the door that said they would charge 10% if you did take out. Seems a bit underhanded of them to charge these fees/tips forcefully! I will give 3 stars because of this. Other than that, restaurant was clean, our waitress seemed nice. I did not like being charged for a forced tip. (It was only two of us)

E
Eric Cartman

The food is consistently delicious. But there is one waiter who is the worst. As a result, I asked for the days that he is not there to eat. I would have given five stars if it wasn’t for the one waiter. He is rude to nearly everyone. He pushes for higher tips. Honestly, I give 20% or 22%, but if it’s him who waits on me, I give less because he is so uncomfortably rude. He is the chubby, bald guy. Everyone else is very hospitable, friendly, attentive, and kind. But I just can’t say enough how rude this one guy is. Beware of him!! The business should realize that he is not fit to be anywhere near a customer.

Food and service was good. But they tried to trick us to get extra bucks by adding gratuity along with the bill and again asking for any extra bucks we can tip without showing the actual bill amount until we ask for. Now we knew where the extra bucks went.So we told then that we would like to get the extra gratuity cancelled. He made us feel like that we are taking his salary back. Though we got the extra bucks back it made us feel that they tried to cheat us without showing the bill amount until we ask for. Would never go back.

K
Kathia F

Nice looking place, friendly staff, ordered take out, didn't wait too long... food not impressive at all; will not be going back; oh and they charge a fee for takeout, our food bill was around $80 and we were charged $8+, I'm guessing for the containers. 2 stars for friendly staff and prompt service.

J
Jackie Fernandez

We ordered a spider roll and got 6 tiny pieces for $13. Total rip off.

J
Jon Stevens

You do NOT make spicy tuna rolls by adding hot sauce to the top of the Roll. I've had better spicy tuna roll from the grocery store at Publix. The red curry was Bland and tasted like from a Can and it was not very genuine or homemade. This is not a 4-star restaurant I was very disappointed in the flavor and the sushi.

E
Esteban Laborde

The food was great, but the gentleman handling our bill suddenly had an attitude and exploded when one of us decided not to tip. Tip is not a requirement, but something we as customers pay to show that someone has gone up and beyond for their service, it is entirely up the customer. We understand they were understaffed and that can be very stressful, but the attitude was absolutely uncalled for. It also didn't help that he was particularly racist towards my friends who I was dining with (They're Indian). I will not be returning.

E
Eliud Fernandez

As soon as you walk in, your greeted by a waiter having lunch waving at you from across the restaurant to sit wherever you'd like. Then I realized it wasn't a customer. You're sitting waiting to order while there just eating on the dining room. Was never offered a refill on my water and he forgot to place my order for the teriyaki chicken special which I got 45 minutes after I had ordered it. I wish I didn't remind him as the chicken was dry and smothered in thick sauce with extremely bland fried rice which was never fried. The rice was soft and mushy. The sushi wasn't the worse but it was not worth the price. If you want a server that's gonna have a piece of lettuce on his finger when they bring you your order 45 minutes later and is gonna ask you if you need anything else with food in their mouth, this is the place to go. Embarrassing

P
Phil Northrop

Ordered the satay chicken - that was a mistake. You would think chicken on a stick you would be able to eat it off the stick...you'd be WRONG. It was over cooked and dry as cardboard. I had to use a steak knife to cut it and still had to fight it. Four no flavor, small pieces of dry chicken for over $10. I gave up after struggling with 2 pieces. My coworkers meals were at least edible but had no flavor until soy and or hot sauce was added. I work across the street so I have visited many of the local restaurants and this is by far the worst. Almost all of the local guides gave 4 or 5 stars so you know that is a scam. Zero stars, but I have to give it one star or it will not post.

Q
Quincy Young

Very disappointed for the food. I was traveling to Miami and was craving for Thai food. The soft shell crab came on the table with super burnt smell, obviously over cooked. I did not enjoy any part of the food. But the worst part was the owner charged me twice on tips by sneakily including a 18% service charge in the total then his machine asked me again for tips. Which by all means I paid a nearly 40% tips on something I did not enjoy at all!

M
Mary Ann Arwood

We ordered 2 spider rolls for a total cost of 30.78 ! When I tell you the order was ONLY 5 PIECES OF SUSHI IN EACH BOX! Customer rip off/ robbery! When I called to address the response was it's crab and shrimp, no it was barely any shrimp or crab on the sushi! DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF ! There should be a 0 rating for this place ! So we are out 30 bucks and we barely even had a appetizer! Rediculas!!!

Not authentic Thai and sushi not really fresh. I had PadThai and Sushi for lunch. Also next day I had Dunked chicken for to go. It's cost $13 for dunked chicken. It's too expensive and small.

I got rotten chicken satay and extremely salty coconut soup. When I expressed my disappointment the server told me I should be more specific so the chef knows. As if I need to tell a chef to serve fresh chicken and how to properly salt soup.

My family and I were the only people there. The Hitachi chef over cooked our food. And lastly, the tip was included in the price which inflated the price. I foresee this place going out of business.

My family and I have dined here many years, but today had to have been the worst experience at this restaurant. The food is great, but the service and atmosphere was unpleasant. Our waiter was taking our order and didn't write down the food we asked for. So of course, one of the dishes brought out was wrong. I couldn't even tell him because he was too busy yelling at an employee! Turns out he is the manager of the restaurant. This happened TWICE which was so uncomfortable. He came back to ask us if our food was ok, and I said it was good. He saw my family didn't answer and started asking again, saying "Oh well SHE doesn't look too happy". I said again the food was ok and thanked him but gosh, that was awkward. I am answering for the table, so continuing to ask and making that comment was unecessary and just felt like he was egging us on. It's a shame because the food is great and the staff has always beeing amazing warm and friendly. Unfortunately I will not be coming back here again.

Noodle dishes taste amazing. But small plates. Waiter was good. But the guy behind counter pushed for a higher tip. I gave $2 I was in and out in 10 minutes maybe less how much waiting did anybody do in that amount of time other than bring my food out. .. The food was worth $15 tops based on size. drinks they charge $2 for a can of soda. The dishes are 11 or 12. But u need 2 to make it an actual meal from The small size. I'm not tipping based on overpriced items. Highly doubtful I will return based on the guy at the door.

Food was defrosted frozen food. Thai curry we ordered was so watery and nothing like a curry, felt sick after the food. I can feel the food was full of sodium. Fried rice were extremely salty gain basil and veggies looked defrosted. Basil was black in color. Thai tea was so sweet upon requesting to replace, the lady justified it is suppose to be sweet. They're serving all junk food. Don't waste time and money. Even after mentioning the food was so bad, no courtesy was shown and they asked us if we want boxes for take away. We refused, paid and left.

This is the second occasion on which we have visited SUVI Thai Food ー Miami Springs ー only to discover that the restaurant was closed for business shortly after two o’clock today in the afternoon. This time around, we contacted the management at the Homestead location to express our dissatisfaction with the complete disregard for customers service and lack of professionalism.

I was really looking forward to trying this Thai restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The curry was extremely watery, lacking the rich and creamy texture it should have. It felt more like a thin soup than an actual curry. But the worst part was the portion sizes—these were the smallest servings I’ve ever seen in a Thai restaurant. For the price, I expected much more. Definitely not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

I love sushi but I tried this place and my sushi seemed as if it was so old . The fried shrimp was so hard I could barely eat it. They over charge for old sushi and the first piece of sushi I lifted up had a piece of paper stuck to it. I’ve had sushi from Publix that was fresher than this and was not hard. Will not be returning for sushi to this restaurant.

They added 18% gratuity by default for just my wife and me, and they ask for tips on top of that. The nerve. I was on a work call so I didn't have time to argue with them about it. Food and service weren't great either. Avoid.

A mi en lo particular no me gusto y el trato regular, no es el mejor, no pudimos pedir postre ya que la cuenta ya la habian cobrado, cuando en todos los restaurantes este se pide al final, mas nunca voy
