This is by far the best place to get dumplings in CT and it's kinda not even close. Me and a friend came on a little date here and every dumpling was filled with love and depth and flavour. The Scallion Pancake (not shown) was crispy, light and the perfect appetizer paired with their chili oil that went perfectly over our dumplings. For a drink I ordered the Taro Boba which is what I usually get by default and it was like sipping heaven through a straw. I've never had soup dumplings before and this was such a great time experiencing it for the first time and the staff is very exuberant, polite and helpful with recommendations. Anytime I'm in Middletown i may just drop in just because :)

This is the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. It has a great atmosphere, interesting drink selection, and AMAZING dumplings. I had soup dumplings for the first time here, and they were a bite of heaven. I absolutely love and reccomend this place.

My first time and I will surely back here! price is worth it! I love the taro bubble tea, spicey beef noodle soup, pork soup dumplings and the pork bun 😍😍😍. My only concern is the parking area, this is located in main st of middle town and the parking is limited and by luck.

One of my favorite spots in Middletown to eat. They have a large variety of bubble teas and dumplings. They also serve some really yummy soups too.

Delicious food and many choices. Delivered to the next door brewery Powder Hallow Brewery. Had the pork dumplings 🥟. The order had 8 dumplings 🥟 with regular sauce and spicy sauce. The noodle soup are a Nice size too! Bubble tea is also very good. Had the coconut 🥥 Macha tea. Very tasty! Public parking across the street!

Black Sugar pearl w/fresh milk😋 **After 10 months (Wed,September 23) not much bubble and a lot ice and not good service anymore 🤭👋👋👋 (Thu,Sep 24) Be careful waitress at this restaurant!!!!!! I bought just Bubble Tea $6.39 and I saw her get my recipes and wrote something under counter. Today I checked my account she charge me for tip 15% $7.28. For what????????

The food was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Did not take pictures of food cause we were too excited to not dig right in. Great place for a quick bite or a slow meal.

The food was okay. Nothing bad but not great. The Boba brown sugar and thai milk tea were good. The chengdu dumplings were good. The pork soup dumplings were okay, and the pork buns were a bit lacking in filling but tasted decent.

Ordered many times here and love their scallion pancakes and pork belly bun. Usually, their scallion pancakes are bigger in size and & $8 makes sense for the prize. But not for this little slices of pancakes...Very disappointed.

With how poor this service was, I can assure you that I was more STEAMED than the food put out by the kitchen. They were out of both salads at 6pm on Friday night...ok. It took 15 minutes to get our ice tea. They only have four beverage options besides teas (coke, ginger ale, fiji water, and Perrier). The two young ladies in the kitchen/waitstaff could not tell me what dumplings were included in the sampler when trying to order more of beef with scallion. They were trying to say it had shrimp.....and could only put their hands to their face and giggle While saying sorry before going into kitchen to check and not coming back with a solid answer. The wonton soup was different, had seaweed in it- my wife liked it but I would not recommend. My pork rib soup was ok- rib bones and broth were solid but the noodles were very mushy. There was a tremendous wait for anything you ordered. Good thing the beverages (not teas) were self serve so I could get my own Perrier. Whom ever is running this location needs to get it together. Your staff should know what is in the sampler and there should not be a 10-15 minute wait when there are only two tables being serviced in the restaurant. Madison Steamed is much better and I can not recommend anyone come here with the current staff and lack of knowledgeable management. Maybe it was an off night, but when going out to eat on a date night it should not be a regret. Money is too valuable to waste and this was just below average service and food on this night.

It was super underwhelming. My sister who goes to wes raved about this place but said something’s change since the last time. I couldn’t even finish this dumpling in photo because the outer rim was so bad and tough. The soup dumpling everyone talked about in the reviews was the worst soup dumpling I ever had. The pork belly bun was also not flavorful and texture of the pork belly was horrid. I would not come back, hopefully they go back to how it used to be so I can experience what my sister used to love...Also I think the students who were working there just microwaved the food
