Maravillosa experiencia, ...calidad en la comida, muy buen asesoramiento, ... nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y muy cómodos. José se tomó el tiempo en charlar sobre los vinos, ... muy interesante el vino tinto de Ronda, ... El postre, de fresas muy bien elaborado, ... y el café..., tan difícil concluir una buena comida con un buen café..., aquí lo consiguen. El servicio excepcional, vimos detalles de máxima atención con otros clientes que venían con silletas de bebés, y cómo los camareros ayudaban con ello. Sinceramente, por su calidad de comida, calidez y excepcional servicio..., muy recomendable. Nosotros volveremos.

Best service, food - amazing food..seafood and authentic Spanish cuisine. Kids food was great too. Spanish Mariachi band came in at during the meal. Honestly the best restaurant we have been to on Costa del Sol. Juan our waiter was just amazing. We were sitting on terrace with a fabulous view of Mijas and the square which was a great party too.

Absolutely excellent restaurant, the service and food and ambience was exceptional. David was one of the most charming and well-mannered waiters we’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Kindly recommended to us cava sangria, it was great. In fact, all the waiters and personnel in the establishment were extremely pleasant and professional. The food was seriously amazing, we had sucking lamb, lamb chop, and Iberico pork slices with mushroom sauce that was completely out of this world. The garlic cream with the baked potatoes was also fantastic. I highly highly recommend this place, seated with a beautiful terrace view of the mountains. Will come here next time.

The place is nice, it has a terrace with a view, the service is very prompt and polite, the food is very delicious! We had mushrooms with shrimps, rabbit with veggies and potato and cod with potatoes, everything was tasty! We warmly recommend the place!

Fabulous on all accounts, the food is fantastic. All grilled food is cooked on a charcoal grille which is in the restaurant. Excellent friendly service too and great value for money. The toilet is quirky, going down into a cave to get to it

Rustic type of place with a surprisingly big terrace with a splendid view. The service was polite and friendly but because of the great number of tourists it was a bit slow and the prices were a bit higher than expected. However the food was tasty, the wine - excellent and the overall experience was positive and pleasant.

Hands down the best family run restaurant in the south coast of Spain. The food is out of this world, best steaks I've ever eaten and I've been going back there for years. They even catered to my Vegan mother and grandmother even though they're a steak house! Best meat you'll ever eat, menu caters to all food intolerances, the historical building used to be a farm house and it's steeped in rich history that they decorate the inside of the establishment with. Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional waiting staff, always smiling, always friendly. I could not recommend La Reja enough, I fly to Mijas from England JUST to go to this restaurant it's that good! 100/10 recommended.

Absolutely amazing food - definitely recommend the rabbit, and if you're a fan of seafood, the piquillo starter was excellent. The service was great, very genial, and we were promised a lovely reservation on the terrace for our second visit, which we took. The portions are massive so definitely highly recommended.

What an absolute gem! This restaurant is so traditional to the region, it's unreal. The place is very cozy and staff is amongst the friendliest I've experienced in Spain. The food was outstanding as well. They cook their meats to perfection on a bbq right in front of guests. The fillet steak was too well priced to not get and it was so tender and delicious. We'll certainly return next time we're in Mijas.

Restaurante de comida española con vistas a la plaza principal de Mijas. La comida muy rica, el precio nos pareció normal, el servicio amable, pero no hay mucho espacio entre mesas y es un poco agobiante.

Sitio privilegiado con unas bonitas vistas. La comida en general no está mal, con precios asequibles. Los platos muy completos en cuanto a los aderezos y salsas. César, croquetas, presa y bravas fueron nuestras comandas. Lo único que no tocamos porque era INCOMIBLE eran las patatas bravas. Salsa ketchup y unos polvos de colorante que rociaron por encima lo hacen llamar salsa brava. Recomendamos a cocina que no invente y que retire de la carta semejante experimento. En ningún momento nos preguntaron el porqué nos dejamos dicho plato sin tocar. Eso da muestras de que para los camareros la venta es lo primero a cualquier precio, en nuestro caso 8 euros. Una decepción.

Buen restaurante , muy rustico , la comida buena , pero lo calamares no eran de calidad ! Demasiado congelados ! ... El resto correcto ! Los pescados buenos ! Y igual que los postres ! Recomendable !

Surroundings: Found on Google maps and easy to navigate, right in Majas town. Walked inside the restaurant has a great view of the sea and hills. Service: staffs are really nice and helpful. We came at 1230, there were still places, but when 1330 the place was full! Food: so good! Highly recommend the paella, big portion, fresh and rice was really good 👍

If you are looking for a restaurant with a outdoor patio with views of the town square then this is it. The servers where all very friendly and knowledgeable. Starts off with a toasted garlic and tomato bread which was ok. We got the seafood paella which was good but too salty. We also got the garlic mushroom and shrimp which was amazing! Overall it was a good experience because the servers and the view was wonderful!

Food all in all not amazing, goat cheese salad had a funky taste although the ingredients were great the sauce ruined it, and the fact that the cheese is grated didn’t help. The steak sauces and the marinera sauce for the fish were flavorless although the meat and fish it self are good quality

Aquí tienes una reseña firme, clara y creíble — sin insultos, pero dejando muy claro el mensaje: --- Fuimos a **Restaurante La Reja** buscando cocina tradicional andaluza auténtica, algo en la línea de sitios como Los Mellizos o La Niña del Pisto, donde prima el producto y la clientela local. La experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. La comida nos pareció muy floja: platos sin sabor, ejecución poco cuidada y una sensación general de cocina pensada más para volumen que para calidad. Nada destacable, nada memorable. El ambiente, además, es claramente turístico. Carta enfocada al visitante extranjero y sensación de restaurante orientado más a rotación que a gastronomía real. Sinceramente, si buscas cocina tradicional bien hecha y un sitio donde coman locales, no es el lugar. Hay opciones mucho más auténticas en la zona. No volveremos .

Si vas a comer una pizza, pregunta antes, parece que se les acaban 🧐 Te atienden con prisa porque van a cerrar la cocina. No recomiendo el revuelto de espárragos. La tosta de queso y ajo muy rico.

Hemos ido 4 amigas a cenar aquí, porque ponía pizzería en la entrada. La sorpresa ha sido que en la carta no había NINGUNA pizza. Los platos que hemos pedido, para clientela española tiene poco sentido. Y encima de decirles que todo es para compartir, han sacado todo a la vez. Y una de las cosas que más nos ha llamado la atención es que la ración de pimientos de piquillo solo venían 3, a pesar de saber que éramos 4. Para terminar, aún estábamos comiendo y se han puesto a poner los toldos a pesar de seguir en la mesa comiendo. Bastante decepcionante y caro, para la calidad que ofrecen.

If you are looking for a good meal this is not the place. The view is not worth the price and the bill. Appetizers were without any flavor, and meat was tough and low quality - most of the ribeye that was supposed to be medium was impossible to eat. When we pointed this out to the staff they were incredibly rude and aggressive. I don’t recommend this place.
